Speculation That Donald Trump Will Declassify UFO Files

Article by Tyler MacDonald                                 November 7, 2020                                 (inquisitr.com)

• In the wake of media outlets calling the 2020 presidential election for Democrat Joe Biden, and since Donald Trump appears on track to be leaving the White House in January, many are pointing to the possibility that the president will declassify intelligence files on many mysterious issues, including UFOs.

• “Trump is still POTUS (until January 20th). He can release any information he wants via Twitter. Literally it’s legal for him to drop anything – UFO files, Russia stuff, total discretion,” tweeted conservative commentator Mike Cernovich.

• Trump has touched on the topic of UFOs on multiple occasions. He spoke about the Roswell UFOs during a Father’s Day interview with his son, Don Jr. “I won’t talk to you about what I know about it, but it’s very interesting,” the president said.

• During an October interview on Fox News, Maria Bartiromo pressed Trump on the existence of UFOs. Trump suggested that he would harness the U.S. military to examine the existence of extraterrestrial life. But in an interview with George Stephanopoulos in June of 2019, Trump acknowledged Navy pilot UFO sightings but did not appear convinced.

• Last month, Tucker Carlson claimed that there is a wealth of evidence that proves the existence of UFOs – including former Senator Harry Reid’s claim that UFOs have been interfering with American nuclear capabilities throughout history, and Christopher Mellon touting the research of Dr. Jacque Vallee, who collected metal debris from a UFO.

• In April, the Pentagon declassified three UFO videos that were captured by U.S. Navy infrared cameras and first released unofficially in December of 2017 and March of 2018.

Now that Donald Trump appears on track to be leaving the White House in January, many are pointing to the possibility

that the president will declassify intelligence files on many mysterious issues, including UFOs.

“Trump is still POTUS. He can release any information he wants via Twitter. Literally it’s legal for him to drop anything – UFO files, Russia stuff, total discretion,” tweeted conservative commentator Mike Cernovich.

The possibility appears to be on the minds of many people in the wake of various media outlets calling the 2020 presidential election for Democrat Joe Biden.

Trump has touched on the topic of UFOs on multiple occasions. As reported by ABC News, he spoke about Roswell during a Father’s Day-themed interview with his son,

  George Stephanopoulos

who pressed him on the New Mexico city that is known for its proximity to one of the most famous UFO events in

           Tucker Carlson

popular culture.

“I won’t talk to you about what I know about it, but it’s very interesting,” the president said of the region.

Trump was also pressed on the existence of UFOs during an October interview with Mario Bartiromo on Fox News, Insider reported.

Trump pointed to the U.S. military and suggested that he would harness it to examine the existence of extraterrestrial life.

Elsewhere, Trump has been skeptical. During an interview with George Stephanopoulos in June of 2019, he pointed to pilot sightings but did not appear convinced.

Trump Says He’ll Do Anything ‘UFO Expert’ Fox Host Asks

Article by Aila Slisco                                 August 4, 2020                                 (newsweek.com)

• On August 4th, President Trump was interviewed by Lou Dobbs, the host of ‘Fox Business’. Dobbs asked Trump whether he would release new information about UFOs, despite the efforts of the deep state working against him. “A lot of my friends are very concerned about what the federal government is doing with regards to UFOs,” said Dobbs. “[S]o if I could just ask you… are you going to commit more resources to exploring UFOs and open the documents to the public?”

• “Well I think you’re… the UFO expert,” replied Trump. “So, I’m going to be guided by the great Lou Dobbs. And I will tell you that I’ll do whatever you ask me to do, including total transparency.”  (see 1:31 minute video clip below)

• Trump has been asked many times about UFO disclosure, and he has remained taciturn an unengaged. In June, when Trump’s son Donald Junior interviewed his father, Junior asked the president “what’s really going on” with UFOs and the 1947 Roswell crash? “I won’t talk to you about what I know about it, but it’s very interesting,” said Trump. “Roswell’s a very interesting place with a lot of people that would like to know what’s going on.”

• When asked last year by NBC‘s George Stephanopoulos about U.S. Navy pilots spotting UFOs, the president said he had been briefed on the issue but did not seem convinced that anything of great interest had happened. “I did have one very brief meeting on it,” replied Trump. “But people are saying they’re seeing UFOs. Do I believe it? Not particularly.”

• In a Fox News interview with Tucker Carlson last year, Trump was asked about UFOs. “I don’t want to get into it too much, but personally I tend to doubt it,” Trump said. “I mean you have people that swear by it… I’m not a believer but I guess anything’s possible.” When Tucker persisted and asked the president whether the government was keeping “wreckage” from an extraterrestrial UFO, Trump said that he was unaware of it, had only heard about alleged UFO wreckage on Carlson’s show, and that “it has not been a big thing” in the government.

President Donald Trump has pledged allegiance to “UFO expert” Lou Dobbs, vowing to do “whatever” the Fox Business host asks.

Trump made the remarks during a Tuesday interview with Dobbs, one of the president’s most outspoken admirers. Dobbs invoked a popular right-wing conspiracy theory by praising Trump for being “transparent” despite the efforts of a supposed “deep state” working against him before asking him about whether he would release new information about UFOs.

“A lot of my friends are very concerned about what the federal government is doing with regards to UFOs, so if I could just ask you… are you going to commit more resources to exploring UFOs and open the documents to the public?” Dobbs asked.

“Well I think you’re probably… in this country, you’re the UFO expert,” replied Trump. “So, I’m going to be guided by the great Lou Dobbs. And I will tell you that I’ll do whatever you ask me to do, including total transparency.”

The interview was the second recent time Trump has been asked about the possibility of releasing allegedly hidden information concerning UFOs. During a June interview with his son Donald Trump Jr. he was also queried about “what’s really going on” concerning UFOs and delivered a similarly vague answer when asked about an alleged 1947 incident in Roswell, New Mexico.

Shaheen Says She Was Given Classified UFO Briefing

Listen to “E31 7-14-19 Shaheen Says She Was Given Classified UFO Briefing” on Spreaker.
by Daymond Steer                   July 2, 2019                   (conwaydailysun.com)

• On July 2nd, US Senator Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH, pictured above) was in North Conway, New Hampshire where she confirmed receiving a briefing as a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee on reports by Navy fliers of UFOs in the skies over both the East and West Coasts. Said Shaheen, “It was a classified briefing so I’m not allowed to talk about it. But if you were to ask me personally do I believe there are UFOs, I think that there are events that have happened that have not been explained adequately.”

• UFOs have been in the news quite a lot in recent years. The New York Times has reported a secret Pentagon UFO program from 2007-12 (and beyond), and released Navy cockpit video footage of a “tic tac” UFO flying over the Pacific Ocean in 2004. That Navy pilot was Windham, New Hampshire’s own David Fravor who has also told his story on the History Channel’s television show “Unidentified.” Last October, The Guardian reported that the Senate Armed Services Committee was briefed on the 2004 incident described by Fravor.

• Earlier this year, Navy pilots on the East Coast also were also interviewed by the Times about encounters with UFOs. The Navy has recently relaxed its UFO reporting policies. ABC News’ George Stephanopoulos asked President Donald Trump about UFOs. Trump confirmed that he was briefed on UFOs and didn’t “particularly” believe in them.

• Shaheen happened to be in Conway on “World UFO Day”, commemorating the July 2, 1947 crash of a UFO in Roswell, NM. The goal for the day was to raise awareness of UFOs and to promote what enthusiasts call “disclosure” of the same.

U.S. Sen. Jeanne Shaheen she confirmed during her trip to North Conway Tuesday, which was “World UFO Day,” that she’s been briefed on unidentified flying objects.

July 2 was chosen as World UFO day because it “commemorates the supposed UFO crash in 1947,” said Wikipedia, making reference to an alleged incident in Roswell, N.M.

The goal for the day was to raise awareness of UFOs and also to promote what enthusiasts call “disclosure” of the same.
Shaheen is on the Armed Services Committee of the U.S. Senate. She was not aware of World UFO Day. However, she confirmed a briefing on them.

“We have been briefed,” said Shaheen. “It was a classified briefing so I’m not allowed to talk about it. But if you were to ask me personally do I believe there are UFOs, I think that there are events that have happened that have not been explained adequately.”

Lawmakers Are ‘Coming Out of the Woodwork’ to be Briefed on UFOs

by Matt Stieb                       June 20, 2019                          (nymag.com)

• The US Navy has been organizing UFO briefings for members of Congress, since Navy pilots’ reported encounters with ‘Tic Tac’-looking UFOs off of both US coasts. Briefings have been given to Defense Intelligence staff and Congressional oversight committee members.

• A spokesperson for the vice-chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, Senator Mark Warner (D-VA) (pictured above) said, “If naval pilots are running into unexplained interference in the air, that’s a safety concern Senator Warner believes we need to get to the bottom of.”

• Staffers on Intelligence, Armed Services, and Defense Appropriations panels are “coming out of the woodwork” to obtain the information. An active intelligence official confirmed that “more requests for briefings are coming in.”

• Despite his interest in a Space Force, and even though President Trump theoretically has more access to unredacted information on UFOs than anyone, he told George Stephanopoulos that he doesn’t ‘particularly’ believe in UFOs.

• On the other hand, former Nevada Senator Harry Reid, the godfather of the recent push to normalize the discussion of UFOs within government, said that he would encourage lawmakers to hold public hearings on the matter. “They would be surprised how the American public would accept it,” said Reid.

• When Reid was Senate majority leader in 2007, he allocated $22 million to a Pentagon study of military sightings of UFOs. “That money was spent developing page after page of information,” says Reid. “There’s been a lot of activity since that.”

• The Navy has taken major steps in cutting the stigma around the reporting of UFO sightings. In April, the Navy announced it is “updating and formalizing the process” of UFO reports by its pilots in an attempt to analyze the phenomenon from a more scientific approach. Luis Elizondo, a former Pentagon senior intelligence officer, claimed that this was “the single greatest decision the Navy has made in decades.”

According to congressional officials who spoke to Politico, three senators received a classified briefing from the Pentagon on Wednesday regarding Navy encounters with unidentified aircraft. The briefing is one of a number of recent requests from oversight committee members following a report in May of Navy pilots who frequently saw Tic Tac-looking UFOs flying off the southeast coast of the United States between 2014 and 2015.

“If naval pilots are running into unexplained interference in the air, that’s a safety concern Senator Warner believes we need to get to the bottom of,” said a spokesperson for Virginia Democrat Mark Warner, the vice-chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee. An active intelligence official confirmed to Politico that “more requests for briefings are coming in.” And a former government official, who has been present for some of the meetings with lawmakers, added that representatives and support staff on the Intelligence, Armed Services, and Defense Appropriations panels are “coming out of the woodwork” to obtain the information. The briefings have reportedly been organized by the Navy, and have included staff from the under secretary of Defense for Intelligence.

Despite his interest in a Space Force — even if it’s only a fundraising tool — Trump doesn’t seem engaged by the fact that he has more access to unredacted information on UFOs than, presumably, any other terrestrial being. “I did have one very brief meeting on it,” Trump told George Stephanopoulos on Sunday. “But people are saying they’re seeing UFOs. Do I believe it? Not particularly.”

But former Nevada senator Harry Reid, the godfather of the recent push to normalize the discussion of UFOs within government, remains quite invested. In an interview with Nevada’s KNPR last week, Reid said that he would encourage lawmakers to hold public hearings on the matter: “They would be surprised how the American public would accept it. People from their individual states would accept it.”

Trump Weighs in on UFOs in Stephanopoulos Interview

In last week’s interview with ABC’s George Stephanopoulos, President Trump was asked of the existence of UFOs,
by Morgan Gstalter                        June 15, 2019                       (thehill.com)

• In last week’s interview with ABC’s George Stephanopoulos, President Trump was asked of the existence of UFOs, given Navy pilots recent claims of routinely seeing them in the skies. Trump replied that he doesn’t particularly believe in them. “I want them to think whatever they think,” the President said. “I did have one very brief meeting on it. But people are saying they’re seeing UFOs. Do I believe it? Not particularly.”

• Stephanopoulos then asked if the President thought he would know if there were cases of extraterrestrial life. “Well, I think my great — our great — pilots would know,” Trump responded. “And some of them really see things that are a little bit different than in the past. So we’re going to see. But we’ll watch it. You’ll be the first to know.” (see 1:18 minute video clip below)

• The Navy recently rolled out new protocols for reporting “unexplained aerial phenomena” after pilots reported seeing unidentified flying objects while training over the East Coast in 2014 and 2015. Multiple Navy pilots said they spotted “strange objects” with “no visible engine” reaching 30,000 feet and going hypersonic speeds. One pilot reportedly said he “almost hit one of those things” described it as looking “like a sphere encasing a cube.”

[Editor’s Note]   After two and a half years in office, we were hoping that Trump would offer support or some type of evidence of the UFO/extraterrestrial presence to boost his Presidency in the run-up to the next Presidential election. But besides a vague Space Force initiative, he has gone out of his way to avoid the issue. And now, in this recent interview, it appears that Trump has sold out the UFO community just as he has everyone else. Or is this just part of the stable genius’ ‘master plan’ to outsmart the Deep State?

President Trump weighed in on the possibility of unidentified flying objects (UFOs) during his interview with ABC’s George Stephanopoulos this week, saying he doesn’t particularly believe in their existence.

The president also acknowledged that he’s been briefed on the subject.

“I think it’s probably — I want them to think whatever they think. They do say, I mean, I’ve seen, and I’ve read, and I’ve heard. And I did have one very brief meeting on it. But people are saying they’re seeing UFOs. Do I believe it? Not particularly,” Trump said in the interview.

Stephanopoulos asked if the president thought he would know if there were cases of extraterrestrial life.

“Well, I think my great — our great — pilots would know,” Trump responded. “And some of them really see things that are a little bit different than in the past. So we’re going to see. But we’ll watch it. You’ll be the first to know.”
