Alex Jones on Arab Spring & Globalism – an exopolitics perspective

Alex Jones Infowars Radio ShowBy Michael E. Salla, Ph.D.

Tripoli has fallen to a rebel advance and freedom loving people in Libya and around the world are celebrating the fall of Muammar Gaddafi. A cause for celebration given Gaddafi’s four decades old eccentric hold over Libya. Not so according to a giant in the alternative media – Alex Jones. Jones is a champion of the 911 Truth movement, and indeed the first to expose 911 as a false flag operation. Alex Jones has been at the forefront of efforts to warn the American public about the dangers of an unchecked police state, unfettered corporate power, secretive groups, and exploitative international banking. Jones’ websites, Infowars.com and Prisonplanet.com are filled with articles that broadly fall under the rubric of anti-globalism. Globalists, according to Jones and supporters, are those advocating the formation of a New World Order wherein government authority is centralized around the planet. A New World Order would be one wherein big government, big corporations and secretive organizations such as the Bilderberg Group dominate international politics and finances.

According to Jones, globalists use cherished U.S. Constitutional principles such as democracy and rule of law as fig leaves for the ever-steady effort to centralize life all over the planet into a future fascist, corporatist state. That’s why the Arab Spring, where young Arab protestors overthrow despots who have held power for decades, is criticized by Jones as a sham. The real agenda is to remove Arab dictators opposed to globalists now ready to expand into the Arab world in order to promote international banking, corporate penetration, etc.

Jones stance on the Arab Spring and support for dictators appears odd at first given mainstream media coverage of events in Libya, Egypt, Syria and elsewhere, but is consistent with the anti-globalism Jones espouses. For Jones, better the little devil of Arab dictators firmly controlling their populations, than the big devil of globalists adding the Arab world to their international balance sheets. So the big question becomes, is Jones right? In many respects, Jones is insightful in his geo-political analysis, yet fails in a major way to understand the underlying dynamics driving international politics and events such as the Arab Spring. He fails to seriously consider the question of extraterrestrial life, and how an exopolitics perspective would change the way we view geo-political events.

Alex Jones, like many media personalities with large listening audiences, has largely sidestepped the question of extraterrestrial life. Jones has avoided immersing himself into controversies of whether or not extraterrestrial life is visiting our world and whether a “Cosmic Watergate” is occurring. Instead, he has considered the possibility that a fake alien invasion can be staged, and has publicly commented about an alien false flag operation. Jones position here is both consistent and cautious. He acknowledges that a false flag operation featuring alien life could be done with holographic technologies, without acknowledging that extraterrestrial life is real and is being covered up. In this cautious way, Jones has introduced his audience to the alien issue, but solely in the context of a possible future false flag operation. This is where Jones’ caution prevents him from seeing the bigger picture. That is visiting extraterrestrial life has been interacting with governments, corporations, military and private citizens for at least six decades. The policies implemented to shield all this from the world public all fall under the rubric of ‘exopolitics’ – the politics of extraterrestrial life.

The field of exopolitics is vast in its implications across all aspects of human life, and directly impacts on Jones’ central concern of the dangers of globalism. For Jones, globalism is driven by the avarice of international bankers and transnational corporations wanting to penetrate and control new markets and populations. That’s true to an extent, and we have much to learn from Jones and his supporters in that regard. If Jones, however, peeled back the onion layers a little more he would find a deeper dynamic behind globalism. A powerful factor behind globalism is the need for those in control of the extraterrestrial issue – to gain control over any extraterrestrial artifacts, knowledge or contacts found throughout the planet. The best way of understanding exopolitics is to consider that for at least six decades, major governments and militaries have worked secretly together to gain intelligence and conduct counter-intelligence on extraterrestrial life and technology. In addition, covert operations have been led around the planet wherever any information, technology or contact with extraterrestrials has occurred.

Organizations such as the Bilderburg Group, Council of Foreign Relations, etc., have played key roles by providing the intellectual firepower on how such a network of intelligence, counter-intelligence and covert operations can be conducted without the world’s populations learning about it. Globalism, in that respect, provides a very useful process for being able to conduct such operations across international borders. More importantly, international cooperation on the extraterrestrial issue has led to the creation of a “breakaway civilization” in highly classified underground and undersea bases. According to some credible sources, there are even human colonies on the moon, Mars and beyond. For many readers that might appear to be sheer science fiction. Yet once thorough research is conducted, the conclusion is inescapable.

The existence of a breakaway civilization is one of the great failings of contemporary world politics, and especially for progressive thinkers who have eschewed serious discussion of the extraterrestrial issue. The most advanced technologies known to humanity have been secretly developed and used in vast network of classified projects without any kind of oversight by representative government institutions, media or population. So where does Jones and his take on the dangers of globalism fit into this exopolitics picture?

Globalism is simply a process that can be used for good or evil depending on how it is managed by those with the most influence in directing and controlling it. In making globalism the big devil of the progressive movement and alternative media, Jones errs. He makes the profound mistake of not recognizing that it is how globalism is currently being managed that is the problem. Globalism can be a very good thing in monitoring and regulating international practices, especially when it comes to introducing transparency and accountability into the classified programs that have been conducted for decades around the planet. Humanity has a need-to-know what technologies have been secretly developed. This will require transparency not only in classified military programs; but, more importantly, classified corporate programs around the planet that defy oversight by any government or military agency. In the United States alone, the amount of black budget funds siphoned by the CIA into this network of deep black programs was estimated to be up to 1.7 trillion a year over the three year period from 1998 to 2000.

The reflexive anti-globalist stance, taken by Alex Jones and supporters has the unintended consequence of facilitating the continued secrecy that makes possible classified military and corporate programs across international borders. An anti-globalist ‘every country mind-their-own business’ approach encourages opacity and unaccountability across international borders. Anti-globalism eschews international cooperation and the strengthening of multilateral institutions such as the United Nations and International Criminal Court. At the same time, one needs to be wary that globalism is not hijacked in order to facilitate corporations and military programs seeking to secretly manage even more extraterrestrial information and contact all over the planet. Done correctly, globalism can help expose and bring to account those responsible for hiding how advanced extraterrestrial technologies have been secretly developed and used.

Supporting peoples struggling for democratic governments such as we are witnessing in Libya, Syria and other Arab Spring countries is an important means for promoting transparency and accountability across international borders. Alex Jones reflexive anti-globalist agenda not only unintentionally supports recalcitrant dictators in the Arab world, but also aids those that have secretly controlled a vast complex of secret projects and covert operations focused on extraterrestrial life and technology. The world has a need-to-know what has secretly happened behind the closed doors of highly classified compartmentalized alien related projects spanning the globe. We should not be afraid of globalism. Wisely embraced, globalism can bring about the kind of transparency and accountability across international borders needed to protect humanity’s freedoms well into the 21st century

Major George Filer USAF (Ret) discloses his own ET Contact

By Neil Gould

Neil Gould Interviews Major George Filer USAF (Ret)

There appears to be no room within our tightly controlled Worldview for the uninitiated to accept that we are not alone in the universe.  However, there are contactees and witnesses with impeccable credentials who can testify that ETs are indeed amongst us; here to pass spiritual messages, nurturing and mentoring humanity through the nuclear age. To survive, humanity must awaken and cease its obsessions with the weaponization of space and the destruction of the Earth’s fragile environment. Is there a great Cosmic Plan to integrate a peaceful and enlightened humanity with other cosmic cultures within the multiverse?

At the UFOC 2011 in Phoenix, filmmaker Jake Gould assisted by Liat Gould were filming Major George Filer USAF (Ret) being interviewed by Neil Gould. During the interview, Major Filer presented his credentials and many of his activities during his 20 years in the air force, everything from picking up UFOs on radar to engaging a US President, Prince Phillip and others over the matter of UFOs. During a relaxing moment in the interview, Neil asked Major Filer what it was that motivated him to investigate and report UFO sightings all over the world, to keep the public informed through hisFilers Files. The answer was completely unexpected; Major filer and his childhood friend had watched UFOs land in  a nearby park, before being invited on board and meet with the occupants.

Major Filer is a Disclosure Project witness who gave testimony with regard to the shooting of an ET at Fort Dicks in 1978. His own ET contacts have never been mentioned to anyone outside of his own family; till now.  In the filmed interview, Filer describes his encounters, the craft and the spiritual enlightenment he received from the off worlders, who were completely human looking. Little did he realize that these encounters would be the driving force behind his disseminating  the Filers Files Newsletters in the hope of spreading the word; that we are not alone, nor have we ever been alone in this wonderful multiverse.

Report on UFO Expedition into the Amazon

By A.J. Gevaerd, 23 May 2011

UFOs in the Amazon

I have just returned from a new trip to the Amazon Rain Forest, where I spent several days at the Anavilhanas Islands, some 50 miles west of Manaus, collecting new UFO cases. I concentrated my work at a location called Acajatuba, a great lake formed by the Negro River. Some 30-40 families live there in two small villages – São Tomé and Perpetuo Socorro – nothing more than a bunch of humble shacks by the rivers. An estimated 200 people live, fish and plant crops for their own consumption in that vast area.

I was invited by 78 year old Francisco Ritta Bernardino, the owner of the jungle hotel, Ariaú Towers to go to that area and investigate UFO cases. Fransisco was very impressed with the number of sightings of unusual objects being reported and asked me to look into the phenomena. He is also a witness to several interesting observations. On this trip I was accompanied by Amazonian UFO author, Umaia Farid Ismail.

Back in 2001, I had been investigating cases in this same location, where I randomly interviewed dozens of locals, amongst whom I found several interesting cases. At that time, it was easy to find some 7 or 8 UFO witnesses out of every 10 people I spoke to – and some 2 to 3 very significant cases among them. My “modus operandi” was very simple: I roamed all day long in a small boat through remote parts of the Amazon jungle, looking for local residents. I used appropriate interviewing techniques to communicate with the local natives. It was exhausting under the high humidity and severe sun light of the Amazon, but it was well worth the discomfort.

Local natives

Amongst the several UFO cases I examined, some were intriguing, citing Luminous and metallic artifacts, which were seen regularly by the natives living in that area of the rain forest. Some were just balls of lights, but others were structured discs or cylindrical shaped objects, all named the same, by the natives as; “swamp gas”. They don’t know the difference as to whether it is really swamp gas, or not; a phenomena that is abundant in that area. These artifacts emerge from rivers and soar high in the sky. They follow or seem to observe the maneuvers of the little boats. They are so bright that at night you can see the jungle as clear as if during the day etc.

It is very interesting to see how the natives, in their simplicity, always refer to what they see in terms of things or objects that are known to them. They refer to the different UFO shapes observed as “boxes”, “plates”, “ovens”, “cooking pans”, etc. If a particular sighting is significant and/or recurrent, it is absorbed by the people as part of their folkloric traditions. Curious names are given to different types of UFO and occupants seen, such as “Mother of Gold”, “Big Worm”, “Ghost Ships”, “7-Meter Virgin”, “Running Light”, etc. So, “Swamp Gas” is just another folkloric name for UFOs.

A.J. Gevaerd filming witness testimony

About a thousand photos and 3 hours of footage were obtained from interviewing or talking to some 2 dozen people, many of whom gave me very serious accounts of UFOs seen at very close range. Most interesting was that I learned about a new area in the Amazon where the so called Suck-Suck phenomena (know locally as Chupa-Chupa) was regularly seen in the late 70s. At that same time this phenomenon was investigated in another Amazonian State, Pará, by the Brazilian Air Force’s Operation Saucer , all of which are in the public domain.

A.J with the local Amazonian peoples

However, the vast area of Acajatuba has a relatively low population, which was even lower during the 70s, so there were fewer reports of the Suck-Suck phenomena, therefore the rare cases of attacks against people were few and far between. I will embark on further trips to the region to collect more cases in the near future. The area was never under investigation by the Brazilian Air Force’s Operation Saucer and the local natives have never spoken with a UFO investigator before, other than me.

There isn’t anything as fascinating to a UFO researcher as direct contact with people who have had experiences with phenomena that changed their lives. Doing field investigation in that area of the Amazon Rain Forest is simply the best thing one can do to really feel the alien presence. Now, the next important step is to evaluate properly the results of such work, because, of course, one is dependent upon the other.

Retired US Navy Commander briefs Indian parliamentarians & academics on the implications of ET issue

Dr Scott Jones (Commander, US Navy, Rtd.)

Dr. Scott Jones (Commander, US Navy, Rtd.) visited New Delhi, India from April 19th to April 23rd, 2011 after spending three days in Pune, Maharashtra where he made a presentation to the Maharashtra Institute of Technology (MIT) and met with various representatives of the academic community.

In Delhi, Dr. Jones gave a talk on April 20th at 6.30 pm at the prestigious India International Centre, the premier public cultural and intellectual forum in India’s capital. The talk was moderated by Come Carpentier de Gourdon, Convener of the International Board of World Affairs, the Journal of International Issues, and was well received by the audience, which asked many questions and engaged in a lively discussion with the speaker.

In the morning of the 20th, Dr. Jones met with Dr. Manmohan Sharma, the Secretary General of the Indian Association of Parliamentarians for Population and Development (IAPPD) and its Chairman, Prof. P J Kurien, an eminent physicist and member of the National Parliament (Lok Sabha) who sits on the Parliamentary Defense Commission. Dr. Kurien who held several portfolios as a Cabinet Minister in the Government and who was chairman of the Indian Institutes of Technology Central Board is a close friend of Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh and the Defense Minister, Mr. Antony. Dr. Kurien was accompanied by another Member of Parliament, Mr. Khanna and by a University Professor who is one of his advisers.

During more than one hour, Dr. Jones briefed the Indian visitors on the ET/UFO related issue and its global, strategic, cultural and spiritual implications. Dr. Kurien said that he was broadly aware of the matter and showed strong interest as well as an intention to bring it up with the relevant members of the Government. He paid special attention to the draft “Space Peace Treaty” that was presented to him by Dr. Scott Jones and he highlighted the passage referring to the incidents of “ICBM shutdowns” caused by UFOs in the US on various occasions.

On the following day, April 21st, Dr. Jones sent by courier three briefing documents, including the text of the aforesaid Treaty to the respective Ambassadors to India of the Russian Federation, the People’s Republic of China and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. The courier package sent to each included a seal-shaped symbol of P.E.A.C.E, the not-for-profit organization founded and run by Dr. Scott Jones and Mr. Neil Freer. That symbol featured one of the oldest icons of Indian civilization, an exquisite engraving of the great Indian humped bull or Zebu (bos Indicus), from the 7000 year old Indus-Saraswati civilization, that is also the animal totem of the great God Shiva, the lord of Nature, yoga, generation and destruction.

A similar briefing package has been delivered, to the care of Dr. Manmohan Sharma for the Indian Minister of External Affairs, Dr. Krishna.

Dr. Scott Jones left New Delhi to return to the United States on April 23rd, 2011.

Exopolitics: Stargate to a New Reality – Book Review

Paola Harris has dedicated over three decades to interviewing key witnesses and experts concerning extraterrestrial life, and an international government cover-up. In her newly released book Exopolitics: Stargate to a New Reality, she discusses nine protocols for extraterrestrial contact. The interviews and insights in her book will open the reader up to the grand possibilities confronting humanity as we collectively deal with the visitation of extraterrestrial life – a secret harder to keep due to the pioneering research work of Ms Harris. Her work in documenting whistleblower and experiencer testimonies has made her one of the founders of the new academic discipline of exopolitics which she believes is the key to forging a new international political reality.

I caught up with Ms Harris and asked why her book is important for the general public at this time? She referred to keen interest by a younger generation of researchers, and a number of noteworthy events that occurred in the latter part of 2010 in her reply:

This book is about “passing the baton to the youth.” One essay by Michael Vogt expresses fear at disclosure. Another by Jason Friend welcomes it. Even Travis Walton has mixed feelings about full disclosure. It has updated UFO news, i.e., The Denver Ballot Initiative, The Washington Press Club missile shutdown whistleblower press conference etc.

It’s worth pointing out that Exopolitics: Stargate to a New Reality is the fourth in a series of books documenting whistleblower and experiencer testimonies by Ms Harris. I asked her why whistleblower and experiencer testimonies were so important to document. She replied:

They make the field credible. Most are military and pilots and scientists working on Black Projects (first hand witnesses). They are in Chapter 3″ Tears in rain.” There is also a new unpublished Colonel Corso interview with a medical doctor in Colorado.

I asked her: “What are the most important challenges facing the world given the material in your book?” Ms Harris replied: “Transparency, and national security issues in a world racked with chaos, rebellion and transformational political and economic crises.” As we await revolutionary events to unfold in Egypt and other parts of the Arab world, it’s important to consider that a global event as momentous as an official announcement of extraterrestrial life, will likely take place alongside unpredictable social and political events around the world.

Her book title incorporates the word “exopolitics” which Ms Harris defines as “an academic study of the extraterrestrial presence on Earth and its sociological, as well as political, implications for humanity.” I wanted to know why the field of exopolitics was important for emerging into the new reality she describes in her book? She referred to the work of former Canadian Defense Minister, Paul Hellyer:

The old order is shifting. This change needs to occur for our planetary survival as Paul Hellyer writes in his book: LIGHT at the END of the TUNNEL: a Survival plan for the Human Species. We are undergoing radical political changes and we must have something in place to substitute the old;  A New World View as Dr. John Mack called it. In the field of UFO Contact, it is an opportunity to enter into a cosmic reality, a galactic neighborhood; but only those educated in this field who can be diplomatic in their approach will be admitted. Education is the key.

Ms Harris book has been eagerly awaited by many seeking to learn more about the fascinating whistleblowers and experiencers she has interviewed over her long career. This and her three prior books are groundbreaking historical records of whistleblower and experiencer testimonies that will be studied closely by students and the general public for years to come. As we move closer to that day when the existence of extraterrestrial life is officially disclosed, Ms Harris book(s) will reveal much of the hidden history behind alien visitation and government efforts to suppress this from the public.

Messr. Philippe de La Messuziere validates the revelations of Dr Michael Wolf – ETs working in US Military bases – Video testimony!

By Neil Gould – 6th Feb 2011

Philippe de la Messuziere is a French aristocrat, electronics engineer, intelligence officer and an associate for the with COMETA report. COMETA was a high-level French UFO study organization from the late 1990s, composed of high-ranking officers and officials, some having held command posts in the armed forces and aerospace industry.

Philippe spent 20 years of his life in the domain of Nuclear energy. He co authored a dictionary of Atomic terms [French/English] and worked for Canadian Marconi, Canadian Admiral Group who made fridges but covertly produced atomic detectors for nuclear fallout and Raytheon in Florida.

In this video, Philippe discloses his private conversations with Dr Michael Wolf a close friend of his who died 18th September 2000.  The revelations of Dr Michael Wolf are controversial; Wolf claims that he was head of Alphacom a covert agency associated with the secret government with whom he allegedly worked for 25years, holding Above Top Secret clearance; working on joint projects with ETs in laboratories at S4, Area 51, Wright- Patterson Airforce Base, Indian Springs and Dulce.  Wolf claims that the shadow government erased all records of his degrees and involvement with the CIA, NSA and NSC; a measure common for people working in special access programs.

“Dr Wolf said he had an MD in neurology; a Ph.D in theoretical physics; a BS in biogenetics; a JD in international law; and a D.Sc in computer Sciences.”

Wolf died from cancer on the 18th September 2000 allegedly from a type of cancer induced by his “employers.”

It was after Wolf published his book Catchers of Heaven that most researchers got to hear about his revelations. Wolf’s bosses sanctioned the publication on condition that Wolf “fictionalized” the book. Wolf commented:

I would like on my grave the words; “He died of Red tape”.

Was Wolf the highest ranking member of the shadow government to come forward? Or more to the point; was Wolf the real thing?

Part 1 of 3 – Philippe de la Messuziere interview

Part 2 of 3 – Philippe de la Messuziere interview

Part 3 of 3 – Philippe de la Messuziere interview

In the interview Philippe reveals how the US military are working with ETs on back engineering high technology. He describes his meeting with the ET, Kolta who was with his ET boss and provides evidence in the form of reflection. The ETs took a photo of Wolf and Philippe sitting together, capturing their own reflections in the glass of a picture on the wall of Wolfs apartment.

Ets Kolta and his Boss in reflection.

Philippe describes the ET’s physical features and vulnerability where simply shaking hands could cause an injury. “They did not eat, they were just like plants”. One occasion when Philippe was in hospital after a heart attack, Wolf would send Kolta to see him whilst nobody in the hospital would be “conscious of the visit ”.

This video interview is extremely compelling and provides many disclosures about the role of covert groups in the military, including NASA, working with ETs.

Video: Jim Sparks in Hong Kong 2011

Abductee Jim Sparks’ visited Hong Kong on the 2nd Jan 2011 to give a Lecture on Galactic Diplomacy at the HITEC Centre to an audience of over 500 people. The executive organizers were Exopolitics Hong Kong and Meoow Guide [an internet radio portal]

In these videos Neil Gould interviews Jim Sparks, questioning him about the Science, Spirituality and Politics of extra terrestrials. A few other challenging questions are thrown into the mix. An interesting introduction contrasts the delicate balance between our ocean life with mankind’s vibrant markets; a representation of “Supply and Demand” which is depleting and ruining our planet’s food chain.

Jim Sparks has not finished his mission as yet. Determined to get the word out that the covert groups within the Black Ops are given amnesty in order for us all to evolve. Sparks addresses the issue of whether mankind will survive the forthcoming earth changes; he states that humanity has decided to destroy itself in cycles over million and millions of years.

The title of this video [The Science, Sprirituality and Politics of extra terrestrials] compliments the Exopolitics Certification Program which offers a wide variety of Exopolitical courses throughout the year.

Mystery behind initial report of UN Liaison for Extraterrestrial First Contact

Kavli Royal Society International Centre. Venue of Oct 4-5 conference: "Towards a scientific and societal agenda on extra-terrestrial life." Photo: Royal Society

On Sept 26, I reported on a breaking story that at an upcoming Royal Society conference, the head of the United Nations Office of Outer Space Affairs (UNOOSA), Dr Mazlan Othman, was to reveal how the UN was preparing to appoint her to be the First Contact liaison with extraterrestrial life. The story was first reported by Jonathan Leake, the Science Editor for The Sunday Times, and was picked up my multiple international mainstream media sources including the Sunday Telegraph and The Australian. The Guardian newspaper was eventually able to get in touch by email with Othman to confirm Leake’s story and she replied: “It sounds really cool but I have to deny it.” In addition to Othman’s email, when business opened on Monday, Fox News was able to get in touch with Jamshid Gaziyev, a UN spokesperson who described the story as “nonsense.” The question that remains to be answered is why did the Science Editor of a major British newspaper write about the UN appointing a First Contact liaison with extraterrestrials if there was no substance to it?

First let’s begin with what Leake wrote in his September 26 story, “If Mars attacks, she’s our leader“:

… the UN is set to select an obscure Malaysian astrophysicist who is head of its little-known Office for Outer Space Affairs (Unoosa). Mazlan Othman will describe her potential new role next week at a scientific conference at the Royal Society’s Kavli conference centre in Buckinghamshire.

The conference Leake is referring to is titled: “Towards a scientific and societal agenda on extra-terrestrial life” scheduled to take place on October 4-5. The conference webpage says: “With a mix of invited talks and panel debates, we particularly look into the detection of life, the communication with potential extra-terrestrial civilizations, the implications for the future of humanity, and the political processes that are required.” This is what Leake went on to say about what Othman was set to announce at the conference:

She will tell delegates that the recent discovery of hundreds of planets around other stars has made the detection of extraterrestrial life more likely than ever before – and that means the UN must be ready to co-ordinate humanity’s response to any “first contact”.

What was the basis for Leake’s comments about Othman’s upcoming talk? This is what he wrote:

The Sunday Times has obtained a recording of a talk Othman gave recently to fellow scientists in which she said: “The continued search for extraterrestrial communication, by several entities, sustains the hope that some day humankind will receive signals from extraterrestrials. When we do, we should have in place a coordinated response that takes into account all the sensitivities related to the subject. The UN is a ready-made mechanism for such co-ordination.”

From the recorded talk, it’s safe to conclude that Othman believes that the UN ought to “have in place a coordinated response” to the discovery of extraterrestrial life. Leake goes on to write:

As director of Unoosa, she has developed policies on issues raised by advances in space technology, such as how humanity should respond to the discovery of asteroids and comets found to be on a collision course with Earth. The same thinking lies behind her proposals for dealing with the discovery of alien life.

So what proposals is Leake referring to here? He doesn’t explain what these are and how he learned of them, but he nevertheless elaborates on what the UN is planning.

Her plans to make her department the co-ordinating body for dealing with alien encounters will be debated by UN scientific advisory committees and should eventually reach the body’s general assembly.

In contrast, according to Gaziyev, the UN spokesperson, Othman’s forthcoming conference presentation would: “discuss the problems posed by “space debris mitigation, near-Earth objects (asteroids) and the coordination mechanism for the use of space technology in the United Nations system.” That’s surprising given the theme of the conference and the panel Othman was set to appear on: “Extra-terrestrial life and arising political issues for the UN agenda.” It is sensible given the alleged recorded talk by Othman that Leake said the Sunday Times has and he cited, that Othman is at the very least interested in the UN having “in place a coordinated response” to the discovery of extraterrestrial life. Is the UN playing damage control on what Othman was likely to discuss at a Royal Society conference addressing exo-political issues confronting the UN with the inevitable discovery of extraterrestrial life?

Of course, we know now that a UN spokesperson dismissed the First Contact ET liaison story as nonsense, as did Othman. So the question is why did Leake publish a story that both Mazlan Othman and the UN would quickly repudiate? Why did he write about Othman’s “proposals for dealing with the discovery of alien life” and her “plans to make her department the co-ordinating body for dealing with alien encounters.” Did he infer, fabricate or was he tipped off concerning these “proposals” and “plans”? Was he acting alone or was he acting on behalf of others in preempting or sabotaging what Othman was planning to say at the upcoming Royal Society conference? There is a lot of mystery behind Leake’s initial report given his very responsible position as the Science Editor for a major UK newspaper.

Whatever the answer to the above questions and unsolved mystery behind Leake’s initial report, one thing is clear, leading scientists from around the world will travel next week to the Royal Society to discuss the political and social consequences of the discovery of extraterrestrial life. Most importantly, Othman will be there to provide insight into the role of the UN in coordinating international responses to the issues being discussed. Perhaps she’ll focus on space rocks hitting the Earth as the UN spokesperson said. Or perhaps she’ll open up and discuss the UN having “in place a coordinated response” to the discovery of extraterrestrial life as Leake suggested. We’ll find out shortly. While the conference is now filled,, I’ve been informed by organizers that sessions will be digitally recorded for audio and video release through the Royal Society website.

United Nations to appoint official for First Contact with extraterrestrial life

The United Nations is set to appoint the head of its Office of Outer Space Affairs (UNOOSA) as the first official responsible for representing humanity in the case of contact with extraterrestrial life. At an upcoming Royal Society (of London) conference scheduled from October 4-5, Dr Mazlan Othman will explain how the UN plans to implement changes that will result in her being given responsibility as part of her current position as the director of UNOOSA. Othman says the need for such a responsibility is due to the discovery of exoplanets that makes it more likely than ever that humanity will eventually discover extraterrestrial life. She has said that the UN is now actively planning a coordinated response for ‘First Contact’ .

Othman is a respected figure in the astrophysics and Outer Space Affairs community. She was the first female to graduate with a Ph.D in astrophysics from the University of Otago New Zealand (1981) and became Malaysia’s first astrophysicist. She was nominated by Kofi Annan to head UNOOSA from 1999 to 2002, before being summoned back to Malaysia to head the Malaysian National Space Agency from 2002-2007. She was responsible for the training and flight of Malaysia’s first astronaut Sheikh Muszaphar Shukor, and was re-appointed head of UNOOSA by the current UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, in 2007. As far as Othman’s scientific expertise is concerned, Professor Richard Crowther, a space law expert at the United Kingdom’s space agency said: “Othman is absolutely the nearest thing we have to a ‘take me to your leader’ person”.

In a recent talk Othman said:

The continued search for extraterrestrial communication, by several entities, sustains the hope that some day human kind will receive signals from extraterrestrials. When we do, we should have in place a coordinated response that takes into account all the sensitivities related to the subject. The UN is a ready-made mechanism for such coordination.

At the October 4-5 Royal Society conference, Othman will go into detail in the process the UN plans to undertake to appoint her as humanity’s first representative for First Contact. The Conference is titled “Towards a scientific and societal agenda on extra-terrestrial life,” and its webpage explains the need for political processes to accommodate scientific study of extraterrestrial life:

Even more than the scientific agenda, a corresponding complementary societal agenda needs to be debated. With a mix of invited talks and panel debates, we particularly look into the detection of life, the communication with potential extra-terrestrial civilizations, the implications for the future of humanity, and the political processes that are required.”

Othman will present at a panel discussion titled: “Extra-terrestrial life and arising political issues for the UN agenda.”

Othman’s position shows that the United Nations is closely monitoring scientific developments concerning the discovery of exoplanets and the growing likelihood that life can be found throughout the universe. Recently, renowned astrophysicist, Stephen Hawking caused a furor when he said that extraterrestrial life is almost certain to exist, but we should be careful since they are likely to be predatory in nature. Hawking’s exopolitical speculations has stimulated wide ranging debate over the motivations of advanced extraterrestrial life. As a member of the Royal Society, Hawking’s views very likely played a role in influencing the agenda of the upcoming Royal Society conference.

The upcoming UN announcement of a First Contact official comes at a convenient time for a grass roots effort to get the City of Denver to pass an Ordinance, Initiative 300, that will create an Extraterrestrial Affairs Commission. Initiative 300 is on the ballot for the November mid-term elections and deals with some of the same “First Contact” issues that Othman will be given responsibility for at the UN. For example, the proposed Ordinance asks:

Shall the voters for the City and County of Denver adopt an Initiated Ordinance to require the creation of an extraterrestrial affairs commission to help ensure the health, safety, and cultural awareness of Denver residents and visitors in relation to potential encounters or interactions with extraterrestrial intelligent beings or their vehicles, and fund such commission from grants, gifts and donations?

It will certainly be difficult to dismiss the importance of Denver’s proposed Extraterrestrial Affairs Commission if the UN moves forward with its plans to appoint Othman as the official responsible for First Contact, and the Royal Society endorses political processes to deal with the detection of extraterrestrial life.

The upcoming appointment of a UN official to be in charge of a future First Contact scenario is a welcome step forward in legitimating discussion about the social and political implications of extraterrestrial life. Such a political discussion – popularly known as exopolitics – is the explicit focus of the upcoming Royal Society Conference. Uthman’s upcoming responsibility makes it more important than ever that the academic/scientific community discusses the social and political implications of the discovery of extraterrestrial life, and the growing likelihood of First Contact.

Princeton University astrobiology certificate explores potential for extraterrestrial life

Michael E. Salla, Ph.D.

A Montage of Life Born in the Astronomical Context. Graphic by Keren E. Fedida: Planets and Life Certificate

Princeton University has just announced a “Planets and Life” Certificate program in astrobiology that offers students an interdisciplinary approach to the possibility of extraterrestrial life existing throughout the universe. Astrobiology, or ‘exobiology’ as it first developed, is a scientific discipline that by definition is interested in the biology of life beyond our planet. Astrobiology is attracting growing student and scientific attention due to the ongoing discovery of exoplanets. A recent announcement from scientists working on the Kepler Space Telescope that rocky earth-like planets are more prevalent than gas giants such as Jupiter and Saturn, has fueled scientific speculation that suitable life-bearing conditions are far more common than previously thought. This has led to the realization that due to the advanced age of some solar systems, older and more advanced intelligent life very likely can be found elsewhere in the galaxy. Astrobiology conferences organized by the Vatican’s Pontifical Academy of Science in November 2009, and the Royal Society of London in January 2010 began the task of exploring the implications of extraterrestrial life found elsewhere in the galaxy. According to the Planets and Life Certificate program Director, Astrophysics Professor Adam Burrows, “Biology is experiencing a great renaissance … there are a lot of people making this the focus of their scientific work … It’s the fastest growing field in astronomy.”

The student body at Princeton, a private university that relies on student tuition for operational expenses, was a key factor in the development of the Life and Planets astrobiology program. It was students who had earlier completed one of the courses taught by evolutionary biology professor Laura Landweber, that formed an Astrobiology Club and pushed for the creation of the certificate program. Professor Landweber’s course, AST 255 “is an introduction to astrobiology and explores topics like the origin of life on Earth and the possibility of extraterrestrial life on Mars and Europa, one of Jupiter’s moons.” Clearly, the question of life on Mars and elsewhere in our solar system is something that continues to inspire keen student interest.

A key aspect of the new astrobiology program is that it will be interdisciplinary. According to the Princeton University News Release, the program allows “students to take cognate courses in nine departments: astrophysics, chemistry, ecology and evolutionary biology, geosciences, molecular biology, mechanical and aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, chemical and biological engineering, and computer science.” Noticeably missing from the list of departments are the social sciences of political science and sociology.

Most recently, Professor Stephen Hawking, a member of the Royal Society of London that sponsored the January 2010 astrobiology conference, took scientific speculation on extraterrestrial life to its logical conclusion by introducing political and sociological questions. He asked what would they be like in terms of their motivations, and would their political agenda involve resource acquisition to the degree that they might threaten the earth? Hawking’s introduction of political and sociological questions to the study of extraterrestrial life is part of the nascent field of exopolitics which has yet to be formally acknowledged by Princeton or any other university. While Princeton’s astrobiology certificate for the moment emphasizes the natural sciences in its interdisciplinary program, it’s hard to justify the exclusion of exopolitical questions when the world’s foremost astrophysicist, Stephen Hawking, is explicitly raising such questions. Princeton University is to be congratulated for creating a pioneering interdisciplinary certificate program in the growing field of astrobiology. With time, however, the program will need to expand its certificate program in order to systematically address exopolitical questions, that cannot and should not be excluded from an interdisciplinary study of extraterrestrial life in the Galaxy.

Member of Russian Parliament Calls for Center For UFO Studies

At a September 8 press conference held in Elista, capital of the Russian republic of Kalmykia which he represents as President,  Kirsan Ilyumzhinov called for the establishment of a center for UFO studies in Russia. That announcement overshadowed his concurrent announcement that he does not plan to seek reelection. Most members of the Press asked Ilyumzhinov about his UFO experiences. Earlier this year, Ilyumzhinov went on Russian national TV to declare that he had been taken off world by extraterrestrials in 1997, and cited three witnesses to confirm his disappearance. A self-made millionaire, Ilyumzhinov is best known internationally as President of the World Chess Federation.

Does exopolitics make the scientific study of UFOs a dead end?

By Michael E. Salla, Ph.D.

Cover to Major Donald Keyhoe's 1955 book

The study of UFOs is commonly assumed to have began on June 23, 1947 with a sighting in Washington State by a respected local pilot Kenneth Arnold. After an interview describing what he saw, the crescent shaped objects were quickly dubbed by the media ‘flying saucers.’ Subsequent books by Major Donald Keyhoe (ret. USMC) and other popular authors of the time increasingly came to the conclusion that flying saucers were extraterrestrial in origin. The term ‘flying saucer’ more and more became associated with the extraterrestrial hypothesis. If one spoke of flying saucers, it was accepted that one was talking about technologies that had an other-worldly origin, and this had important public policy implications. Keyhoe eventually realized that the highest echelon of the military leadership in the U.S. were very anxious to cover up the extraterrestrial explanation, and ignore the conclusions of investigations conducted by even their own senior technical specialists.

Covering up the extraterrestrial element was described by Keyhoe as “The Flying Saucer Conspiracy” which was the title of his popular 1955 book. Keyhoe rightly understood that the flying saucer phenomenon had become deeply political and imbedded within the national security system with respective advocates and opponents of releasing all the evidence to the public. The scientific question about flying saucers had already been conclusively answered – they were not of terrestrial origin, at least not of any terrestrial science known at the time. The most plausible explanation was the flying saucers were extraterrestrial in origin, and the USAF was trying to steer the public from this obvious conclusion. Keyhoe’s analyses of the politics surrounding flying saucers as extraterrestrial vehicles, forms the original source for what today is better described as exopolitics – the study of extraterrestrial life and its public policy implications.

During Keyhoe’s time, the US Air Force took the brunt of accusations of a systematic cover up. The best minds of the USAF, secretly supported by the CIA and select U.S. government agencies, tried to come up with satisfactory answers to Keyhoe’s probing questions and voluminous evidence he had gathered. Some of the evidence in fact was classified data that the Air Force itself had given Keyhoe access to during a time of greater openness, but now wanted to deny in what was clearly a change of policy. The final solution adopted by the USAF in response to Keyhoe and others was to obfuscate. The key to this new policy was to introduce a term that would help steer the public away from discussion of the extraterrestrial hypothesis. In 1952, the USAF through its Project Blue Book, introduced the term Unidentified Flying Object (UFO) claiming it to be a more objective term that did not have the same extraterrestrial connotation as flying saucer. The USAF left a big question mark over the origin of UFOs.

The new term at first did not take off with the public, but over time the scientific study of UFOs has come to represent research of any unidentified flying object whether of a terrestrial or non-terrestrial origin. The flying saucer term eventually disappeared from media and public accounts of what was being witnessed in the skies and the world’s oceans. Thus the UFO term has become associated with many mundane explanations that account for many public sightings. Up to 95% of UFO sightings are routinely dismissed as having mundane explanations which is consistent with the final report of Project Blue Book in 1970 that only 6 % of UFO reports are genuinely unexplained. Proponents of the scientific study of UFOs typically respond by saying 5% or so of thousands of UFO sightings still constitutes a lot of cases that might have an extraterrestrial origin.

More recently, retired civilian contractors and/or military personal personnel have emerged to claim that many UFOs are in fact highly classified aircraft built in the US. For example, retired contractors/servicemen who worked at Area 51 claim that UFOs were mistaken sightings of the OXCART spy plane and other highly classified aircraft from the 1950s and 1960s. This explanation supports a claim by CIA historian, Gerald K. Haines, that the CIA actually encouraged UFO reports as a cover for the secret spy aircraft being built for it at Area 51. If up to 95% of UFO reports have a conventional explanation, and among the remaining 5% many in fact are highly classified aircraft, what does that mean for the extraterrestrial hypothesis? One is looking for the proverbial needle in the haystack as more historical data comes out about classified military aviation projects being misidentified as UFOs. It increasingly appears that the scientific study of UFOs is a dead end if one wants to learn the truth about whether or not extraterrestrials are visiting the earth.

Exopolitics is a relatively new discipline that focuses on evidence of extraterrestrial life, and its public policy implications. Exopolitics has two main tracks of study. These are: A., the study of scientific evidence pointing to the possibility of extraterrestrial life in the universe; and B., whistleblower and witness claims that extraterrestrials are currently visiting earth and interacting with private citizens and/or military authorities. Professor Stephen Hawking, along with astrobiology conferences held in Rome (November 2009) and London (January 2010) have recently given a major boost to the first exopolitics track. It is now “perfectly rational,” according to Hawking, for scientists to discuss the policy implications for extraterrestrial life.

For Hawking, intelligent extraterrestrials are more than likely to be marauders in search of resources and should be avoided. In contrast, the Vatican’s chief astronomer, Gabriel Funes, believes extraterrestrials are more than likely to be ethically advanced “space brothers”. No matter where one stands on this wide ranging debate, it’s important to understand that major scientists are giving serious thought to it; and that this is clearly an exopolitics debate, and not a debate over UFOs. Indeed, the same scientists who are encouraging an exopolitics debate ignore the UFO phenomenon altogether.

When it comes to the second track of exopolitics, the testimony of whistleblowers and witnesses pointing to the visitation of extraterrestrial life in advanced space vehicles, it’s important to accept that UFOs are NOT unidentified. They in fact are Identified Flying Objects whose origins are extraterrestrial in nature. According to these whistleblowers and/or witnesses, this is a well known among responsible government, military and corporate authorities. Thus the term UFO merely serves to obfuscate what these many whistleblowers/witnesses claim they have direct knowledge of, i.e., advanced extraterrestrial vehicles (ETVs) visiting our planet.

In conclusion, the rise of exopolitics in scientific debates over extraterrestrial life is to be welcomed, and is likely to quickly expand in future as more evidence is found of life supporting conditions in the universe. It is therefore important that exopolitics as a new field is not undermined by those wishing to subsume it with the scientific study of UFOs. Such a study is a dead end given the way in which the UFO term lumps together anomalous phenomena that have conventional explanations (up to 95% of sightings cases), highly classified military aircraft (remaining 5%), and objects that may be genuinely extraterrestrial in origin (again, part of the remaining 5%). Instead, something similar to the original ‘flying saucer’ term is necessary in order to be explicit that what is being discussed or investigated is a possible extraterrestrial vehicle (ETV) belonging to one or more visiting civilizations with profound (exo)political implications for our planet.

Paul Davies: Exopolitical Prescription – Part 2

By Neil Gould.

Part 1  of this article presented Dr Paul Davies, Astrobiologist as a man whose vision is embedded within the current imposed and skewered worldview. On Coast to Coast radio, Davies debunked and ignored the exopolitical evidence that Ets engage our planet. In this article the exopolitical prescriptions are presented so that Dr Davies has an early opportunity to dig himself out of his politically polluted worldview.

“Is Davies a typical example of the gatekeepers that Hawking sought the human race to circumvent? I say yes and suggest that Dr Davies embraces the processes available within the multidisciplinary field of Exopolitics.

“Through collaborations and meetings with clinicians, “experiencers”,

psychologists, Epidemiologists, historians, pgysicians, philosophers,

anthropologists, physicists, Theologians and political scientists,

Dr. Mack has encouraged members of different disciplines to bring their talents to this exploration”.

Below I present to Dr Davies an “Exopolitical apical bud of knowledge”, beginners tools that he could use to begin his reeducation as to the existence of UFOs and their engagement with planet Earth; perhaps a process adopted by ET anthropologists and geneticists who are following a principle of non [mass] intervention with a fledgling species who appear to be aiming ballistic missiles at themselves whilst their mainstream scientific community peer through a single telescope lens with both eyes.

Disclosure Project

At an event  organized by Dr Stephen Greer at the National Press Club in 2001, over 400 military and corporate witnesses with security clearances testified as to the reality of military involvement with Ets, back engineering of ET craft, alternative energy and advanced technology some of which could advance astronomy and astrobiology.

ET Beacons

a) Dr Paul LaViolette  argues compellingly that the interesting and quite intricate behaviors of pulsars fit much more easily with a model of an ETI (extraterrestrial intelligence) beacon carrying information. The neutron star lighthouse model predicted that pulsars would be formed in supernova explosions and in fact several of them have been found near supernova remnants.

“The neutron star lighthouse model predicted that pulsars would be formed in supernova explosions and in fact several of them have been found near supernova remnants

If that were truly how they were formed, one would expect to find pulsars concentrated toward the center of the galaxy where most supernovas occur. However, LaViolette has noticed that the distribution of observed pulsars in the galactic plane differs markedly from that.”

“The position of these anomalies at a one-radian angular distance from the galactic center (g.c.) is especially odd because:

1.       the radian is arguably a natural angular unit that would be recognized by many societies

2.       this particular angular position would exist only from a point of view located exactly where we are – giving the impression of a deliberate signal or sign to our society or any society at our location”

“This strongly implies that the pulsars appear where they are by design, and furthermore that the design is intended to get the attention of a society that lives exactly where we are.”

b) A  ‘monolith’, was snapped from 165miles away using a special high resolution camera on board the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter. Fuel was added to the flames after Buzz Aldrin, the second man to walk on the Moon, alluded to a similar monolith detected on Mars’ moon Phobos. In the video below Aldrin commented:

‘When people find out about that they are going to say, “Who put that there? Who put that there?” Well the universe put it there, or if you choose God put it there.’

Little green men

Whistleblowers testimony to western legal standards, by people who stand to face ridicule or even worse, lose their pensions cannot be ignored. Sgt. Clifford Stone gives testimony  to his involvement in black operations where he retrieved UFO craft and their occupants that had been either shot down by exotic weapons or had simply crashed. The testimony of Charles Hall  a meteorologist who worked at Nellis Airforce base. Hall interacted with ET beings “Tall Whites”, guests of agencies within the U.S. Military.

Charles Halls Testimony “Fastwalkers”

Alan Hynek

In an interview  with research journalist and author Paola Leopizzi Harris she told ZlandCommunications:

“My recollection is that Hynek said it was backstage of one of the many Johnny Carson Tonight shows [Carl] Sagan did. He basically said [to Hynek] in 1984, ‘I know UFOs are real, but I would not risk my research [College] funding, as you do, to talk openly about them in public.[…] “I had started out as an outright ‘debunker,’ taking great joy in cracking what seemed at first to be puzzling cases. I was the arch-enemy of those ‘flying saucer groups and enthusiasts’ who very dearly wanted UFOs to be interplanetary.” Hynek, J. Allen. ‘The Hynek UFO Report’. Dell Publishing Co. 1977”

Sleep paralysis and Abduction

In a paper by Caroline McLeod, Barbara Corbisier, and John E. Mack, A More Parsimonious Explanation for UFO Abduction, the writers make it clear that abductees are not victims of sleep paralysis.

“Furthermore, sleep paralysis and hypnogogic hallucinations of such long duration tend to be symptoms of narcolepsy -a neurological disorder characterized by an overwhelming desire to sleep at any time. Individuals with narcolepsy also suffer from cataplexy -a sudden loss of voluntary muscle tonus with full consciousness, often during emotional events (Carlson, 1994). Individuals in our sample of experiencers deny such symptoms. Those experiencers who have undergone electroencephalograph (EEG) testing in an attempt to find a neurological cause for their experiences report no significant findings. Thus, there is no evidence that sleep paralysis can account for the abduction phenomenon.”

Psychological Inquiry, Vol. 7, No. 2, 1996

UFOs

A reason as to why UFOs would come, especially when the human civilization is just beginning is made quite understandable by the NICAP reports of UFO sightings at ICBM sites and nuclear Weapons Storage Areas. Robert Hastings  provides all his sources some of which make up the hundreds if not thousands of UFO sightings around nuclear installations including the shutting down of missile launch systems as in the case of Capt. Robert Salas. The Ets are mentoring us; they are awakening us to the dangers of the nuclear age.

Artifacts left behind by ET civilizations

The Dogon tribesmen of Mali, West Africa, contain astronomical knowledge which the native people could have neither learned by themselves nor guessed. Dogon legends speak of Jupiter’s four moons and Saturn’s rings, which were not seen by human beings until the invention of the telescope. At the temple of Abydos, Egypt highly developed crafts, specifically a helicopter, a submarine, some form of flying saucer, and a jet plane. In Iraq there are 5000-year-old Sumerian seals that depict our solar system.

Dr Davies is part of our scientific community, most of whom have a cycloptic and 3-D view of our reality imposed onto them by the politics of ontology. It is an insult to our experiencers and contactees and proves how effective the ET media truth embargo is and how mankind’s progress is being retarded. When official disclosure takes place one day, you will hear our mainstream scientists say; “Well what I really meant was…….!!

Dr. Paul Davies: Critique – Part 1

By Neil Gould.

This article discloses a dark reality behind mainstream science that misrepresents to humanity, so called changes of attitudes towards the reality of intelligent life in the universe. The true agenda is to seek confirmation of ET life, unintelligent life, which includes microbes and viruses. Mankind does not read the small print. The article focuses on scientific hero, Dr Paul Davies, a contributor to recent conferences hosted by the Royal Society and the Vatican. Recently interviewed by a popular radio show it becomes clear that the mindset of Dr Davies is nailed to the existing imposed and skewered worldview dominated by the politics of ontology. The credentials of Davies are presented, but so are his views on intelligent life in the universe. Davies debunks ET visitations, abductions and UFOs but prescribes processes, which include multidisciplinary studies on the phenomenon, and dares to ask people to keep an open mind whilst being skeptical.  A conundrum is it not?

Early this year there was immense excitement amongst Exopoliticians:

“The Vatican’s Pontifical Academy of Sciences  had organized a 5 day conferences involving physicists and Astrobiologists on subjects as varied as how life might have begun on Earth; what newly found microbes living in harsh places on our planet might tell us about possible life on others; and how life forms might be detected in our solar system, or how their bio-signatures might be found on and around the many distant exoplanets.”

There was further elation at the announcement by the Royal Society that they too would be holding a 2-day conference on extra terrestrial life.

“A line-up of world-leading astronomers, biologists and astrophysicists including SETI founder Dr Frank Drake, principal investigator for the British Beagle 2 Mars lander project Professor Colin Pillinger and Director of the BEYOND: Center for Fundamental Concepts in Science Professor Paul Davies, will be discussing man’s search for extra-terrestrial life and the consequences for science and society”.

Professor Paul Davies  a British-born theoretical physicist, cosmologist, Astrobiologist and best-selling author.

“He is Director of the Beyond Center for Fundamental Concepts in Science and co-Director of the Cosmology Initiative, both at Arizona State University. Davies’s research interests are focused on the “big questions” of existence, ranging from the origin of the universe to the origin of life, and include the nature of time, the search for life in the universe and foundational questions in quantum mechanics. In astrobiology, he was a forerunner of the theory that life on Earth may have come from Mars.”

Listeners to his interview on Coast to Coast radio,  were treated to a typical case of “blindfolds and earplugs” by a self centered scientist who chose to ignore the overwhelming qualitative evidence on ET life already in the public domain. [The evidence will be discussed in Part 2 of this article]. Dr Davies made it clear that Astrobiology is the search for life beyond earth, distinguishing itself from SETI; the search for intelligent life beyond earth. Despite SETI 50 yrs of eerie silence Davies gives them a pat on the back and believes we should extend the search for ET beyond looking through telescopes because the clues might be very subtle. Davies advocates that we should look for any signature or technological footprint of technology that shows up such as beacons and possible ET probes.

On this topic of Fermi’s paradox and ET beacons, here is what Davies had to say in the Astronomy Now magazine :

“What I think is a big lacuna in the search so far is that beacons have not been actively searched for. It is much more probable that we would pick up a multidirectional beacon than random messages between civilizations or domestic radio traffic or anything deliberately directed at us. All those scenarios don’t stack up, but beacons do. [..]There really has been no systematic search for them, and yet we have the technology to do that.”

Davies described Hawkins recent remarks  as Foolish; “There is no way of knowing if there is intelligent life out there. On the claim that aliens want to come here to use the resources of the planet, they could have taken them billions of years ago”. When asked by a caller about those who believe they saw UFOs or had been abducted Paul Davies reply was; “Little green men and flying saucers belong in the realm of fairy stories”. In defense Davies explained that he knew Alan Hynek, who for 20 yrs assessed thousands of reports, some of which he personally had been able to account for. Davies went on by saying, “Most alien abduction is explained by sleep paralysis, sleep disorders” and he has had personal experience of this himself. He was keen to place his peg into the sand and stated unequivocally that “the lights in the sky are weather phenomenon” and that these reports tell us more about ourselves as humans than anything else.

Davies was asked about artifacts left behind by ET civilizations. “We cannot find any historic relics from the last 100 million years. The surface of our earth is restless, tectonic activity, glaciations, and erosion impact by asteroids”. When pressed on the emergence Sumerian civilization with the associated ET intervention [as seen on the 5000 year old Sumerian Seals and Cuneiform tablets], a civilization with knowledge of the planets, Davies quashed any speculation of Ets arriving 400,000 years ago as he would be astonished that it would happen within this period which in astronomical terms is to close to the present. “Why would they come especially when the human civilization is just beginning? Too much of a coincidence”

The arrogance of Dr Davies continued in two messages to his audience; the first being that scientists must draw from a list of all the scientific disciplines and the second message was that Scientists should always be open minded but also skeptic; but never close our minds that one day the evidence might be forthcoming!

This mindset ensures humanity never sees the light of day whilst drowning in their own smog, addicted to fossil fuels and never being allowed to grasp the essence of a universe teaming with beneficial intelligent life which in all probability are responsible for the seeding of life in the universe; Is Davies a typical example of the gatekeepers that Hawking sought the human race to circumvent? In Part 2  of this article I present to Dr Davies the Exopolitical Prescriptions that will lead mainstream Astrobiologists, anthropologists, Cosmologists and physicists into the new paradigm; arguably the most important juncture ever, for mankind.

The primary mission of “ExoNews” is to promote public debate and awareness of exopolitics which has been defined as “an interdisciplinary scientific field, with its roots in the political sciences, that focuses on research, education and public policy with regard to the actors, institutions and processes, associated with extraterrestrial life, as well as the wide range of implications this entails through public advocacy and newly emerging paradigms.” ExoNews is sponsored by the Exopolitics Institute, a U.S. based 501(c)3 non-profit educational organization established in 2005. The Exopolitics Institute News Service will be headed by an international editorial board. The Board comprises Come Carpentier (India); Neil Gould (Hong Kong); David Griffin M.Sc., (United Kingdom); Paola Harris, M.Ed. (USA/Italy); Douglas McClure, M.A. (South Africa); Michael Salla, Ph.D. (USA/Australia); and Victor Viggiani M.Ed. (Canada).

According to Dr Michael Salla, founder of the Exopolitics Institute, “the need for an Exopolitics News Service has never been greater as evidenced by the surge in interest in public policy issues concerrning extraterrestrial life raised by Prof Stephen Hawking’s recent speculations concerning the motivations of extraterrestrial life.” Furthermore, Dr Salla claims that “as officially sponsored exobiology conferences increasingly question the social implications of extraterrestrial life being discovered, as evidenced in conferences organized by the Vatican (November 2009) and the Royal Society of London (January 2010), this will inevitably lead to greater scientific and public interest in the field of exopolitics.”

Neil Gould, founder of Exopolitics Hong Kong, writes: “Corporate control of the international media has created a polluted worldview through the agenda of transglobal corporations. Association with the geopolitically inspired military industrial complex has deprived mankind of the right to knowledge, technological advancement in science, new energy sources that will eliminate the use of fossil fuels, and of an awareness of the extraterrestrial presence engaging this planet since the dawn or our age. The Exopolitics Institute News Service brings breaking news, articles and general information with regard to extraterrestrial life, circumventing the ET media truth embargo. Its aim is to restore the worldview, freeing up the consciousness of this planet enabling a smooth social and political transition into the new paradigm.”

David Griffin (Exopolitics United Kingdom) writes: “Having observed the dramatic rise in the last decade for information and analysis of exopolitical related themes, a dedicated Exonews site contributed to by core researchers in the field will be a useful asset to the online world. It is important that the growing alternative media scene assumes a role equal to that of more mainstream outlets in order to keep the exopolitical context as free of bias and noise as possible in the expanding world of networked communication.

“We are on the brink a of the greatest revelations in human history,” according to Victor Viggiani (Exopolitics Canada). “One day very soon our entire planetary civilization will be unitied in its understanding and appreciation of the Extraterrestrail presence. The Exopolitics News Service will play a leadership role in providing professional, and substantive information for global institutions, all levels of governance and mainstream media about the disclosure and post-diclosure significance of engagement with an ET reality. The entire global village is now able to come to one place for news on how off-world civilizations will impact every facet of our existence – and that place is The Exopolitics News Service.”

Hawking: Exopolitical Didactics

By Neil Gould

This article provides compelling evidence that the statement made by Hawking with regard to “avoiding contact with ET life” may well have been one of Hawking’s last great contributions to humanity by using didactics [or reverse psychology] ensuring that the subject matter would be palatable to, and enter the mainstream media stimulating Exopolitical debate amongst academics and scholars worldwide. This article begins with a statement by Canadian ex Minister of Defense, a proponent to the view that ET life is engaging our planet. Hawking’s credibility, underpinned by the mainstream academia includes research into Cosmology and the physics which deal with the manifestation of life in the universe [Top Down Cosmology]. He used this sturdy platform to explode his message into the public domain; by stealth. Finally the article introduces other great minds, all of who lay testimony to the fact that they received downloaded information, some from Ets that have served to advance humanity’s technological abilities. One of whom, a Rocket Scientist testifies that he was told by Hawking that he too had received complicated mathematical formulas by way of dreams.

“Former federal defence minister Paul Hellyer, 86, believes not only that aliens have visited Earth but also that they have contributed greatly to human technological advances”.
(Ref: http://www.winnipegfreepress.com/breakingnews/hawking-warning-about-bad-aliens-prompts-defence-by-their-biggest-canadian-fan-92619939.html)

Paul Hellyer nailed it in one, so did Paola Harris [in personal communications with me] and Dr Salla in an Examiner article [see: http://www.examiner.com/examiner/x-2383-Honolulu-Exopolitics-Examiner~y2010m4d26-Stephen-Hawking-launches-exopolitics-debate?cid=publish_twitter:2383 ] The focal point of Hellyer’s statement is: “Alien contribution to our technical advances” because therein reside the clues to the intentions behind Hawking’s missive.

Stephen William Hawking, CH, CBE, FRS, FRSA (born 8 January 1942) is a British theoretical physicist and amongst his many other attributes, the author of A Brief History of Time.

“If aliens visit us, the outcome would be much as when Columbus landed in America, which didn’t turn out well for the Native Americans,” said Hawking. He advocated that, rather than try to establish contact, man should try to avoid contact with alien life forms”

His statement sent ripples across the mainstream media networks worldwide and encouraged debates amongst academics and scholars all of whom are in full physical health except that their minds are nailed to the limitations of an imposed and skewered world view.

Ripples were felt across Asia and in Hong Kong I was awakened the very next morning to join a discussion on RTHK 3; [mainstream radio in Hong Kong] guests included an Australian Astrophysicist and two Anthropologists.

http://programme.rthk.org.hk/channel/radio/programme.php?name=radio3/backchat&d=2010-04-28&p=514&e=107775&m=episode [Begins after 5mins of news]

The resulting debate affirmed just how short sighted and brainwashed these academics/professors really are with regard to ET life and/or UFOs engaging our planet. An apt term used to describe some of the reasons behind this syndrome was once given to me by Author of Sapiens Rising, Neil Freer; called “tenure tetanus”. I never forgot it!

We know that efforts by Exopoliticians in getting Exopolitically related news, such as Hawking’s references to ET life, [irrespective of whether Ets are good or bad] into the mainstream is dam near impossible, therefore we should be looking closer at exactly what the intent might have been behind Hawking’s statement. Was it to get Exopolitics into the mainstream media? Perhaps this was a final contribution to humanity from a man whose cosmic mind is embedded in a frail, degenerating and dieing body [Hawking has a neuro-muscular dystrophy a condition that has progressed over the years and has left him almost completely paralysed] who paradoxically created a wormhole or portal right through the ET truth embargo at light speed, simply using nothing but the energy of his great mind? If it were so, well it certainly worked! Hawking’s had spent a lifetime contemplating the fabric of the universe and trying to find a unified theory that took into account the larger objects such as the planets as well as the quantum particles such as photons and electrons.

“Hawking’s many other scientific investigations have included the study of quantum cosmology, cosmic inflation, helium production in anisotropic Big Bang universes, large N cosmology, the density matrix of the universe, topology and structure of the universe, baby universes, Yang-Mills instantons and the S matrix, anti de Sitter space, quantum entanglement and entropy, the nature of space and time, including the arrow of time, spacetime foam, string theory, supergravity, Euclidean quantum gravity, the gravitational Hamiltonian, Brans-Dicke and Hoyle-Narlikar theories of gravitation, gravitational radiation, and wormholes””.

At a George Washington University lecture in honor of NASA’s fiftieth anniversary, Hawking theorized on the existence of extraterrestrial life, believing that “primitive life is very common and intelligent life is fairly rare. His physics tutor, Robert Berman, later said in The New York Times Magazine:

“It was only necessary for him to know that something could be done, and he could do it without looking to see how other people did it. […] He didn’t have very many books, and he didn’t take notes. Of course, his mind was completely different from all of his contemporaries.”

This brings us to the very point of this article; how do ET’s contribute to our knowledge and technology and was Hawking aware of this phenomenon or indeed was he party to Technology Transfers from Ets through a process called “quantum entanglement” a subject that he had investigated. Hawking had found entropy within the chaotic universe; such entropy included consciousness, or the observer, a key component perhaps, in operating DNA and driving the primordial soup into life forms; including advance life.

I had heard the term many times before; “A flash of genius”. Nikola Tesla (10 July 1856 ? 7 January 1943) was an inventor and a mechanical and electrical engineer. Tesla was ultimately ostracized and regarded as a mad scientist; yet he was the father of commercial electricity and known for many revolutionary steps in electromagnetism which helped usher in the second Industrial Revolution. Tesla reported seeing flashes of light and was able to download information [allegedly from Ets] which contributed to his numerous inventions. Tesla was able to hold images of full working models in his mind in the same way today’s modern CAD engineers do on industrial design computer screens using complicated software. It was the antics of JP Morgan which brought Tesla down when JP Morgan realized that he could not put a meter on radiant energy, invented by Tesla.

Another brilliant mind, John Searl, an electrical engineer has been thrust forward into the limelight. Regarded by many as ‘The Godfather’ of free energy or zero point energy science, Professor John Searl believes his magnetic generator, the Searl Effect Generator (SEG), can save our planet from economic and environmental disaster. Searl alleges that he was downloaded with “squares” which represented configurations for his coils in dealing with his inventions within the realms of electromagnetism.

In his book, ‘America’s fall from Space,’ David Adair tells the story of the U.S. space program through the eyes of a child prodigy turned top rocket scientist. Building his first rocket at the age of 11, David soon had progressed to the point that he was drawing attention to his exploits by people such as General Curtis LeMay and Werner Von Braun.

His complicated mathematical formulas found their way to Dr. Stephen Hawking, who at that time had just received his Ph.D. in Theoretical Astrophysics and was at the beginning of his own career. When they met and David was asked for the source of his formulas, he sheepishly replied that many came to him in dreams. To that Stephen Hawking replied, “I get a lot of my ideas through dreams also. We dream on the same wavelength; therefore, that makes us brothers.”

It has always been so, that mankind is mentored by extra terrestrials, [See Dr Salla article http://www.bibliotecapleyades.net/vida_alien/alien_humanitymanipulationalien02.htm] perhaps intent on seeing us through the nuclear age unscathed, perhaps also in assisting us with the technology required to preserve our environment [a new world if you can take it ? an ET told Col. Philip Corso]. Human consciousness has propelled itself through the medium of Hollywood, prodding our consciousness, manifesting as great movies in particular AVATAR. Hawkins has faith that by the end of the debate we will have overcome the knee jerk xenophobia, as we come to terms and confront “his ugly didactic wolf” and replace it with the newborn lamb of common sense. Any hostile civilization could have taken us out long ago. We would not need to search and contact ET; they know we are here; their technology would have alerted them to the presence of fledgling civilizations eons ago. Mankind has to reflect back upon himself that indeed we are the wolf; Hawking is hinting that the true threat to galactic harmony are we humans, who have polluted their planet and weaponized space; a danger to other cosmic cultures.
Perhaps the quote by Martin Luther King Jr sums up Hawkins concerns for humanity.

Hatred paralyzes life; love releases it. Hatred confuses life; love harmonizes it. Hatred darkens life; love illuminates it.

In Defense of Exopolitical research and Study

By Neil Gould

Subject: Videos [fake] vs Research and Witness testimony
The field of Exopolitics enables the exopolitically minded/educated researcher to not hyper focus on quantitative evidence [can be tampered with] but to use time for a more scholarly approach to the UFO issue. The emphasis within the forum discussions about “fake videos” carries a negative bias that could discard the baby with the bath water. [Such as a genuine sighting or even Nick Pope]. However, we know UFO’s are real from whistleblowers testimony; an example the Donald Keyhoe interview by Mike Wallace in the 1950’s

We are with full knowledge that many people have seen UFOs and in certain cases have interacted with the occupants of craft; [Travis Walton, NeilFreer, Jim Sparks, George Adamski, Meier, Orfeo Angelucci etc]. There are others on this forum that have first hand experience. Photos and videos play an important part for the optical physics [Bob Oechler, Bruce Maccabee etc] but witnesses, pilots, military, contactees etc give testimony that is up to western legal standards as to their reality. Researchers conducting face-to-face interviews with witnesses are key elements in validating the evidence. A further study of the psychodynamics between the researcher/clinician and witness help validate the experience.

There are red herrings in this field that have tripped up many a
well-meaning ufologist, inhibiting the progress of their research. If the video had been proven genuine. Well,we might well have been watching a terrestrial John Searl disc; then what? The Ufologist would be satisfied I guess; but then what?

We are blessed to have the field of exopolitics and even more blessed to have the Institute’s educational programs essential for those who really want to get out there to do the research. To some ufologists, Exopolitics is seen as the red rag to the bull; this reaction is to be expected when any new field of study is introduced which supercedes the old. [The description given by Copernicus of the field of astronomy that Earth is in daily motion about its axis and in yearly motion around a stationary sun was rejected by the Catholic Church].

Exopolitics has subsumed Ufology and provides for multidisciplinary studies of UFO related phenomenon. “Through collaborations and meetings with clinicians, “experiencers”, psychologists, epidemiologists, historians, physicians, philosophers, anthropologists, physicists, theologians, and political scientists, Dr. Mack has encouraged members of different disciplines to bring their talents to this exploration”.

You know, things in our reality that reinforce the worldview are either fabricated scarcity, media truth embargos, holographic illusions, super technology, CGI or brainwashing and control mechanisms [Rockefeller; war of the worlds; social research project] and we are all victims of the politics on ontology. This pales the validation of a UFO video into insignificance, compared to how the reported story [THE SUN, Il Corriere della Sera] bashes against the worldview and how it serves to awaken a humanity on the brink of an ecological disaster; That’s exopolitics, the study of the political and social implications.
As for exopolitical researcher, Torbjorn Sasserson in Sweden; his predicament is a reality, the very worldview that I mention is skinning this man and other heroes alive and I think the UFO video, fake or not, is a symptom and manifestation of that which we are not allowed to know about. So the ufologists should be investigating the fabric of this construct and making more positive contributions, rather than making mountains out of molehills.
