Object Seen Travelling at ‘500 mph’ in US Sparks Conspiracy Frenzy

by Katy Gill                   January 22, 2019                   (dailystar.co.uk)

• Sam Chortek and Jimmy Chappie visited Beaver, Utah to capture some beautiful video the rolling hills that surround the area on their drone-mounted video camera. When they got home and watched the footage, they discovered something inexplicable. A white object suddenly emerges from the distant hills and flies past the recording drone, traveling at a speed so fast the object’s form became warped – making it hard to discern what it is.

• Originally posted by Brian Hanley, SecureTeam10’s host Tyler Glockner shared the video on his YouTube channel, slowing the footage to make a chilling discovery. “This has become one of the best pieces of UFO footage in recent memory,” Glockner said. “Many have said that it looks like a saucer.” “Some have estimated it as going at 400-500mph.” (see 4:14 minute video below)

• YouTube commenters explainations for the object range from CGI, to shapeshifting demons, to a true UFO – either extraterrestrial or one of Earth origin within the secret space program. The Utah location is only a couple of hundred miles away from Area 51, a highly classified remote range only accessible by The United States Air Force.

Drone operators Sam Chortek and Jimmy Chappie visited Beaver, Utah, US, in the hope to collate some beautiful B-roll footage of the rolling hills that surround the area.

But when they arrived home to watch the footage back, they discovered something unexplainable fly past the lens.
A white object appears to suddenly emerge out of the hills and fly past the recording drone.

It was travelling at a speed so fast the object’s form became warped – making it hard to discern what it is.

Youtube channel secureteam10’s host Tyler Glockner shared the video – originally posted by Brian Hanley – yesterday and slowed down the footage to make a chilling discovery.

“This has become one of the best pieces of UFO footage in recent memory,” he said.

Harry Reid Pushing For More UFO Research

by Niels Lesniewski                      January 10, 2019                   (rollcall.com)

• On January 10th, former Nevada Senator and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid told KNPR radio that he was scheduled to talk with an important senator about setting up a way for members of the military to support exploring UFO and USO (unidentified submerged objects) sightings without facing retribution. “I personally don’t know if there exists little green men… but I do believe that the information we have indicates we should do a lot more study,” the Nevada Democrat said.

• “What we found in the past is that these pilots, when they see something strange like this, they’re prone not to report it for fear that the bosses will think something’s wrong with them, and they don’t get the promotion,” Reid said. “So, many, many times they don’t say a word to anybody about these strange things.”

• “The facts are, they need a place to be able to report this, and that’s what I’m going to work on in a couple of hours, to make sure that somebody I think’s a powerful member in Congress, I want him to be able to sit down and talk to some of these pilots who have seen these things,” Reid said. “I can arrange this because of the contacts I have with members of the Congress.”

• Although Reid declined to identify the US Senator to whom he referred, Reid’s former deputy, Senate Minority Whip Richard J. Durbin, D-Ill., happens to be the ranking member of the Defense Appropriations Subcommittee.

• Reid recalled how he lobbied the leaders of the Senate Appropriation’s Defense Subcommittee to get money for a Pentagon UFO research project, which the New York Times reported in December 2017. He related how the late Sen. Ted Stevens, R-Alaska, was entirely on board because of a suspicious aircraft he cited during his own time as military pilot. “Frankly, I think the federal government has done almost nothing to help us with this,” Reid said.

• In the radio interview, Reid also confirmed his knowledge about a notorious secret base in Nevada. “Oh sure, I’ve been to Area 51. …I know Area 51 quite well. I know what they’ve done there.”

Former Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid is lobbying his former colleagues to do more to study unidentified flying objects.

“I personally don’t know if there exists little green men other places, I kind of doubt that, but I do believe that the information we have indicates we should do a lot more study,” the Nevada Democrat said. “We have hundreds and hundreds of people that have seen the same thing — something in the sky, it moves a certain way.”

Reid said that also included sightings of vessels at sea.

The topic of UFOs was on Reid’s mind Thursday because his interview with KNPR came just before he said he was scheduled to talk with an important senator about setting up a way for members of the military to support exploring suspicious sightings without facing retribution.

       Richard J. Durbin, D-Ill.

“I’m going to have a call with a member of the Senate in an hour or two where we have people in the military who want to come and tell somebody what they’ve seen,” Reid said in the interview, declining to identify who that senator is. (Food for thought: Reid’s former deputy, Senate Minority Whip Richard J. Durbin, D-Ill., is the ranking member of the Defense Appropriations Subcommittee.)

“What we found in the past is that these pilots, when they see something strange like this, they’re prone not to report it for fear that the bosses will think something’s wrong with them, and they don’t get the promotion,” he said. “So, many, many times they don’t say a word to anybody about these strange things.”

“The facts are, they need a place to be able to report this, and that’s what I’m going to work on in a couple of hours, to make sure that somebody I think’s a powerful member in Congress, I want him to be able to sit down and talk to some of these pilots who have seen these things,” Reid said. “I can arrange this because of the contacts I have with members of the Congress.”

Back in December 2017, the New York Times reported on a Pentagon program to study UFO sightings that came about because of Reid’s advocacy back when he was serving in the Senate.

Las Vegas Man’s UFO Story Makes It To the Big Screen

by George Knapp and Matt Adams                   December 12, 2018                      (lasvegasnow.com)

• The world premiere of a new documentary film about UFO whistle blower Bob Lazar was held in Los Angeles on December 3rd, and Las Vegas I-Team Reporter George Knapp was there. The line of eager fans stretched around a city block for the premier. A sellout crowd of 1,600 people filed into the historic United Artists theater to see the film produced and directed by Jeremy Corbell and narrated by Hollywood star, Mickey Rourke.

• Corbell took the stage at the premier to explain, “The reason I made this film is because I wanted to know the truth.” As the lights dimmed and the projector fired up, the subject of the movie Bob Lazar took a seat alongside other interested parties.

• It was 29 years ago that Lazar came forward, claimed he worked on technology out in the Nevada desert, and suddenly the Area 51 base became known all over the world. A 1989 interview on KLAS TV with George Knapp when Bob Lazar mentioned that there were “nine flying saucers, flying discs out there” at S-4, a camouflaged facility built into a mountain south of Groom Lake, the heart of the Area 51 military base changed things forever for Lazar.

• With Lazar’s revelation, UFO researchers by the busload made the pilgrimage to the Nevada desert, along with major news organizations. The story put Area 51 on the map worldwide, inspired movies, TV shows, and books, led to the creation of the E.T. highway and a namesake professional baseball team.

• In the film, Lazar goes into specific detail about the technology he says he saw, technology that is remarkably similar to the objects seen in videos released one year ago by the Pentagon. These craft can generate gravity and bend space-time, Lazar said nearly three decades ago. Now the topic is once again generating waves of media coverage.

• Audience response to the film’s premiere was overwhelmingly positive enough to coax a visibly uncomfortable Lazar onto the stage with the director to answer a few questions, including the attacks on his credibility. Lazar says he doesn’t blame people for their skepticism. “I understand it is an incredible story and I myself would have a hard time believing it.”  (that’s George Knapp, Bob Lazar and Jeremy Corbell sitting on stage at the event above)

2018 was a big year for UFO news. It was a year ago this month when the Pentagon admitted it has been secretly studying unidentified flying objects and also released a few videos recorded by military pilots.

The sudden re-emergence of official interest in these unknown aircraft has also resulted in a closer look at older UFO cases and testimony, including one story that started in Las Vegas.

A new documentary film about UFO whistleblower Bob Lazar is out and there’s no way I-Team Reporter George Knapp would miss the world premiere.

It was 29 years ago that Lazar came forward, claimed he worked on technology out in the Nevada desert, and suddenly the Area 51 base became known all over the world.

The I-Team has done occasional updates with Lazar over the decades but it is never easy to get him to open up. The premiere of the new film has fired up many of the same arguments about his credibility, but the first audience to see the movie didn’t need much convincing.

The line of eager fans stretched around a city block in downtown Los Angeles. A sellout crowd of 1,600 people filed into the historic United Artists theater to see a film narrated by movie star Mickey Rourke and to hobnob with like-minded enthusiasts, some brought their Area 51 saucer model kits. At least one wore an ET mask.

A few famous faces were in the audience when director Jeremy Corbell took the stage and explained why he was inspired to tackle this particular slice of UFO history.

“The reason I made this film is because I wanted to know the truth,” said Jeremy Corbell, documentary filmmaker. “People that are haters, debunkers talk smack. Some of you are in this audience. You don’t know the story. You didn’t get it right.”
As the lights dimmed and the projector fired up, the subject of the movie Bob Lazar took a seat alongside other interested parties.

“There are nine flying saucers, flying discs out there…”

That 1989 interview on KLAS TV changed things forever for Bob Lazar, whose identity was made public months later. His story about alleged alien technology being stored and analyzed at S-4, a camouflaged facility built into a mountain south of Groom Lake, the heart of the now infamous Area 51 military base, set off a stampede.
