If you enjoy hanging out with intellectual people, have an open mind, and can think outside the box, then save the date – May 18-20. The date is set for the first ever 2012 UFO Women’s Symposium in Glen Rose, Texas, at the Sommervell County Expo. The unique conference will be hosted by Starworks USA, led by Paola Harris. Not since the Watergate tapes has anyone reached into the inner sanctum of the White House to expose once hidden Presidential communications; this time about lifting UFO secrecy. Someone has, and the results are of Watergate proportions. However this time – there’s no 18 minute gap – anywhere.
Toronto [ZNN] The Fourth Estate continues to operate on the premise that the White House is a consecrated enclave – a political icon impervious to any press offensive or foreign onslaught that may demean its purity. This posture – despite the historical events and dirty deeds of the Nixon Watergate era remains the embedded catechism of the press as it kneels before the altar of democracy.
Most Americans continue to indulge themselves in a similar belief – the White House as hallowed ground. Stephen G. Bassett of the Paradigm Research Group does not.
Mr. Bassett appears to have reached deep inside the White House to discover de facto documentation that proves the White House has soiled itself by remaining close-lipped about their involvement in discussions about UFOs and extraterrestrials. Documents show a White House administration and its President on the verge of lifting government secrecy surrounding UFOs and extraterrestrial intelligence.
If this is not the case – would President Clinton’s“I want to know…” 1995 statement in Belfast Ireland then be considered an innocuous slip-up or was it Clinton’s own less than cryptic message to the world that he wasn’t getting the truth about UFOs either?
To highlight these unambiguous revelations, Bassett has asked citizens to support a WE THE PEOPLE petition to the White House – one aimed at placing these never before seen documents on the altar of American political reality.
Any political analyst viewing the documentation Bassett has acquired would have to agree the evidence is indisputable; not only because of the impeccable clarity of the correspondences but also because of their pedigree and sheer authenticity. Bassett indicates, thanks to Canadian researcher Grant Cameron who unearthed this documentation from the Clinton Library, that he has almost 1000 pages of Freedom of Information data which verify the existence and authenticity of the correspondences
While the air-tight nature of this series of events is extremely difficult to dispute, there are also other matters on an even greater level of intrigue to which the press remain oblivious. There appear to be overtly obstructive tactics being employed by the Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP) staff and WE THE PEOPLE officials to de-rail and subvert any serious consideration by the White House of both the 2011 and 2012 petitions by Stephen Bassett on the UFO/ETI matter.
A STORY IN REVIEW FOR CBS 60 MINUTES
Bassett has engineered the acquisition of a series of explosive letters to President Bill Clinton from long-time Clinton family friend, billionaire Laurance S. Rockefeller, each of which prove beyond any doubt the White House and the Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP) were involved in discussions about lifting secrecy on the UFO/extraterrestrial intelligence matter between 1993 and 1996. An unusually large number of the Clinton White House staff – including the office of then First Lady - Hillary Clinton were also involved in exchanges of correspondence on this matter.
While the obvious may sometimes escape even the most perceptive journalist – one can only wonder why this kind of proof-positive documentation has not yet been examined by the mainstream media at large unless they have been instructed to yield on this matter by officials within the inner sanctum.
Case in point.
Does it not seem unusual that CBS 60 Minutes has routinely devoted generous hours of coverage to the tasty but featherweight news of India’s infatuation with gold, kindergarten academic redshirting, the passing of Steve Jobs and the death of Michael Jackson; yet avoids the opportunity to provide any air-time at all about how and why a member of the influential Rockefeller family be-friends a US President and his wife, then writes to the President asking him to lift government secrecy on UFOs and extraterrestrial intelligence?
Might Rockefeller’s numerous letters to President Clinton’s science advisor Dr. Jack Gibbons, meetings with him as well as with the First Lady Hillary Clinton about UFOs be something the intrepid 60 Minutes may wish to inform the American people about before it investigates the IQ’s of pre-schoolers?
The answers to these questions may reside in the offices of Jeff Fager, Chairman of CBS News and Leslie Moonves CEO of CBS Corporation… or maybe even higher – in the White House.
One can only speculate – is the Fourth Estate at this level paying attention or are they complicit in their silence within the inner sanctum?
As this scenario unravels under the nose of CBS and other American TV networks and newspapers, the players in these explosive Clinton/Rockefeller letters give substance and plot to what amounts to the biggest political story in American Presidential history – a screen play that Spielberg, the West Wing or Sir Arthur Conan Doyle would find almost impossible to conjure.
WE THE PEOPLE SPEAK OUT – THE ROCKEFELLER INITIATIVE
Stephen G. Bassett is the Executive Director of the Paradigm Research Group based inWashington DC. On the basis of these letters, Basset has submitted a WE THE PEOPLE petition demanding the Obama administration investigate letters sent to President Bill Clinton and the OSTP by billionaire philanthropist Laurance S. Rockefeller – seeking to have Clinton, a known UFO enthusiast, lift government secrecy surrounding UFOs and ET intelligence.
The WE THE PEOPLE petition process enables Americans to submit to the White House any petition they feel can garner enough signatures to be considered and examined by the White House. Over 10,000 petitions of all kinds have been submitted.
According to the Bassett petition this series of letters – that have come to be known as the Rockefeller Initiative – confirm Clinton White House officials did indeed engage in discussions with Rockefeller and his solicitor Henry Diamond about lifting secrecy surrounding UFOs and extraterrestrial intelligence.
In one of the Rockefeller letters to President Clinton, entitled Lifting Secrecy on Information about Extraterrestrial Intelligence… Rockefeller wrote:
“Dear President Clinton: This letter is to request that you personally and specifically direct a review of current government information on policy concerning Extraterrestrial Intelligence including Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs). It is widely believed that agencies of the federal government have substantial information about the existence or non-existence of UFOs and that it has been unnecessarily withheld from the public as classified.â€
Other letters were exchanged between Rockefeller and the President’s Science advisor Dr. Jack Gibbons, head of the influential OSTP – Office of Science and Technology Policy in the White House. According to several of these letters, meetings and telephone conversations to discuss the UFO/ETI matter also occurred.
ZNN’s investigation also reveals that during this period, Secretary of State and then First Lady Hillary Clinton is mentioned in letters and, that she made at least one visit to see Rockefeller at his JY Ranch near Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming in August of 1995.
The petition submitted by Stephen G. Bassett on February 23, 2012 has now accumulated over 6700 signatures to date. Bassett hopes the petition to hit 25,000 by March 23. With only two days remaining this may be a faint hope. However, there are several other intriguing aspects to this scenario than just the petition submitted by Bassett. He has undoubtedly struck a nerve within the inner sanctum of global politics – a strike that White House observers are watching very, very closely in the hope that the Fourth Estate remains asleep at the switch.
ANOTHER WATERGATE MEDIA FRENZY?
Even if the petition does not hit the 25,000 signature mark, Bassett and Cameron are well aware the letters are authentic and could very well set off a media frenzy that would be very damaging to any effort by the White House to keep talk of UFO secrecy out of the newspapers and away from public scrutiny.
If a major news outlet like the Washington Post or its not-so-formidable rival the Washington Times were to decide to expose these letters – all matter of delirium and excitement would hit the press. Sagging newspaper circulation and falling advertising revenues at the Post may trend upward, perhaps marking the beginning of a recovery from the Post’s 6.2 million third quarter losses in 2011 and its decline in circulation ranking it out of the top five in the nation.
Prominent names like Rockefeller, Bill and Hillary Clinton combined with lifting secrecy on UFOs would also provide a sustained level of investigation by either or both of these flagging Washington newspapers – one lasting well through the next quarter and into the election. Although the Democratic leaning Post realizes this news may not sit well with the Obama administration – the profit motive may be too much to resist in quelling the Post’s scarlet bottom line.
For the new generation Washington Post publisher Katherine Weymouth, it may also be an opportunity for her to follow in her grandmother’s footsteps – the late Katherine Graham, who, along with the journalistic instincts of editor Ben Bradlee and journalists Woodward and Bernstein – broke the Watergate story leading to the fall of Richard Nixon.
News about President Bill Clinton, White House insiders and UFO secrecy would indeed make spectacular headlines not to mention profits for the first newspaper to break the story regardless of who currently occupies the White House.
Further bolstered by statements already made by the likes of Apollo 14 astronaut Dr. Edgar Mitchell, Mercury astronaut Gordon Cooper and others as to the reality of UFOs and an ET presence – The Rockefeller Initiative documents represent a political flesh wound the press would find virtually impossible to ignore and for the White House to bandage with evasive denials. Bassett remains convinced there may not be a bandage big enough to stop the bleeding if the Rockefeller Letters hit the news – with or without a successful petition.
A media frenzy may not stop there. Bassett and Cameron – like Special Watergate Prosecutors Archibald Cox and Leon Jaworski – have cast a wide net over several high-level government officials who were involved either directly or indirectly in the Rockefeller Initiative within the Clinton administration and beyond.
During a recent interview with the ZlandCommunications NewsNetwork Bassett stated: “Those who knew and have not spoken publicly of this initiative include: President Bill Clinton, Sec. of State Hillary Clinton, Obama transition chairman John Podesta, Sec. of Defense Leon Panetta, Vice President Al Gore and Gov. Bill Richardson.” Astronomer Carl Sagan and evangelist Billy Graham are also mentioned as dignitaries in the Rockefeller Initiative.
By comparison, the Watergate roster of witnesses and whistle-blowers, the likes of Presidential Counsel John Dean, Attorney General John Mitchell, Nixon aide John Ehrlichman and Chief of Staff H.R. Haldeman, stands in history. Are the people involved in The Rockefeller Initiative next in line?
These similarities are well worth examining, yet more drama remains.
DRUMMING UP A RESPONSE IN 2011
Although there does not appear to be any ‘wrong-doing’ evident as yet – there may be indications of administrative obfuscation.
In the Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP) – the office charged with responding to Bassett’s first petition in 2011, significant levels of bias appear to exist in memoranda that may have served to minimize the political impact and deter comprehensive press coverage of Bassett’s first petition.
Well before the White House response to Bassett’s first petition in late 2011, at least 15 memos were exchanged among OSTP staff and at least two to NASA HQ personnel which show bias against developing a proper and balanced response to Bassett’s petition.
If the usage of specific language in one particular memo is any indication, the OSTP appears to have had its mind made up prior to any analysis of all the evidence – thus undermining Bassett’s 2011 petition from the very beginning.
Members of the press may wish to examine one particular October 11 memo to NASA HQ from Mr. Phillip Larson (OSTP assistant). In it, Mr. Larson states: “We got tagged with drumming up a response to a ”please acknowledge aliens’ petition…” This less than subtle use of the phrase ‘drumming up’ appears to connote an effort by the OSTP to fabricate or concoct a response to Bassett’s first petition. What is more – in another sentence in the same Oct 11 memo Mr. Larson states about the OSTP response: “This version has their [the White House] unofficial blessing and they didn’t require us to do any more clearances…“. This directly implies that the White House did not require the OSTP to make any other inquires to any other government agencies that may have information about UFOs – such as the CIA, FBI, the United States Air Force or Navy, all of which are on record as having monitored and collected extensive data on UFOs for decades. [CIA UFOs - http://www.foia.cia.gov/search.asp?pageNumber=1&freqReqRecord=ufo.txt FBI UFOs –http://vault.fbi.gov/UFO]
Why did the White House limit inquiries to NASA alone?
Why would the White House not require the OSTP to make full and exhaustive inquiries with all relevant government agencies that may have information about the UFO question?
Not only was the OSTP investigation myopic in its analysis – significant bias against the 2011 petition is clearly evident.
This lack of due diligence by all concerned calls into question the credibility of the OSTP response, the thoroughness of its examination of the facts and above all, the integrity of the OSTP and the White House.
Other anomalies have transpired.
ZNN, in conversation on March 5, 2012 with Mr. Rick Weiss Director of Communications for the OSTP, Mr. Weiss denied any knowledge of Mr. Bassett’s current 2012 petition. During this conversation Mr. Weiss requested that ZNN send him information on Bassett’s second petition in order for him to comment on it. ZNN did forward this information to Mr. Weiss but he has failed to respond. [NOTE: Mr. Weiss’ name does appear on several 2011 internal memoranda concerning the vetting of a response to Mr. Bassett’s first petition in 2011.]
It is also clear, as stated by Mr. Bassett in a PRG press release, he is troubled by reports that the current petition process is fraught with problems – denying citizens proper access to the registration process or voting procedures.
As stated in Bassett’s November 8, 2011 press release about the White House 2011 response penned by Mr. Larson:
“1)  It is a political lie.  Whatever the executive branch personnel may know about extraterrestrial evidence, the administration cannot acknowledge any such awareness in order to protect the President’s political prospects in the next election.
2) Â It is a national security lie. Â The administration cannot acknowledge any such awareness of the evidence as a matter of national security. Â Which is to say the people cannot handle such truths.
3) Â It demonstrates the present executive branch of the United States government, including a substantial collection of military, science and intelligence advisors, is completely unaware of the massive evidence for an extraterrestrial presence that has been accumulated over six decades by an extraordinary citizen science/truth movement. Which is to say the administration is both ignorant and incompetent.”
It seems Basset really does have the goods on this one. He also appears to have more first-hand evidence up his sleeve that he may be holding back until the right moment. One piece of it however has been on the table for a while. A former high-ranking White House insider has blown the lid off this story during a press conference at the National Press Club in Washington DC in 2002 but this has been conveniently ignored by the press for nearly 10 years.
THE SMOKING-GUN VIDEO – ANOTHER PLATEAU OF EVIDENCE
After leaving the Clinton White House, President Clinton’s Chief of Staff John Podesta made an unprecedented statement before the prestigious Washington National Press Club in 2002, condemning government UFO/ETI secrecy.
Podesta stated:
“I think it’s time to open the books on questions that have remained in the dark on the question of government investigations of UFOs. It’s time to find out what the truth really is that’s out there. We ought to do it because it’s right, we ought to do it because the American people, quite frankly, can handle the truth and we ought to do it because it’s the law.â€
Why would Podesta – a lawyer, come forward in such a publicly dramatic manner after witnessing the circulation of UFO related letters among his staff at the White House and Rockefeller unless there was something valid about what he had witnessed?
Why would he state that in some way the law has been violated?
Is this a subtle indication from a well-placed insider and solicitor that, in some way, the Justice Department must eventually step in?
Can the invocation of ‘national security’ restrictions about UFOs be used indefinitely by the White House to stave off press inquiry and the disclosure of the facts in this elaborate chess match?
And, why – in its ‘investigation of the facts’ did the OSTP appear unaware of Podesta’s statement?
One can only speculate on the impact of Podesta’s statement. Had it been made before a Congressional hearing similar to those of the Watergate era or at the 1968 Congressional UFO Hearings in which then Congressman Donald Rumsfeld played a role, the Justice Department would assuredly have been put on notice. It seems that the press as well as the OSTP have conveniently failed to notice this subtlety. The question remains – is there an editor or a corporate CEO out there who has the courage to step forward and expose the Rockefeller Letters for what they are? – a bombshell ready to detonate.
Had Nixon Presidential Counsel John Dean come forward in a similar manner to access the internet and You Tube in 1973, the Watergate crescendo would have peaked months earlier and spared the United States from a protracted political blood-letting never seen before within the White House.
Yet here we have it all – decades later – unfolding before our very eyes on the internet and still the media avoids what they would have fed upon voraciously back then – making Judge Sirica’s job a lot easier. Have Stephen Bassett and Canadian researcher Grant Cameron found the political smoking-gun? Will the press take a look down the muzzle of the gun to examine the unacknowledged political wounds this evidence has caused or is yet to cause or will it remain silent, continuing to deflect the attention of Americans away from this Presidential matter with tedious talk about the price of oil, the premier of ‘Dancing with the Stars’ or a Syrian war-in-waiting?
If nothing else – Bassett has made the right call – rising to the occasion by providing the Fourth Estate with a ready-made case with all the evidence it needs to bring The Rockefeller Initiative forward as a Cosmic Watergate – the first chapter in a global move towards UFO/ET Disclosure.
It seems Bassett was not far wrong when he once wrote about the press in 2001: “For the best part of 50 years, when the biggest story of all time and the seminal event in human history phoned in, the ‘fourth estate’ was screening its calls.”
ADDENDUM
A word to Katherine Weymouth and to Jeff Fager of CBS News: Woodward and Bernstein worked hard to get the goods on Watergate. Bassett and Cameron have already done the leg-work for you on the Rockefeller files.
Arizona Senator Barry Goldwater’s collection of 143 pages of UFO letters has now been posted. Goldwater, a USAF reserve General, who also sat as the Chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee had a long standing interest in the UFO subject.
The collection of letters include many letters that talk about his attempt to get access to the “blue room†at Wright Patterson Air Force Base where he was told by his long time friend General Curtis Lemay that he couldn’t go in and Goldwater certainly couldn’t go in either.
The collection also contains letters with UFO researchers such as Ron Regehr, Dr. Steven Greer, Dr. James McDonald, Lee Graham, and Don Berliner. There is also a key letter written to Goldwater by Marie Galbraith who directed the “best Available Evidence†report that was prepared for Laurance Rockefeller in 1996.
Three documents not pulled from the collection have been added to give context to the documents in the Blue Room section of documents. One was a section of an April 25, 1988 New Yorker magazine article where Goldwater is quoted as saying that he was getting 100 calls a year from people asking him to look into the Blue Room rumor. The second two documents consist of a FOIA (and reply) made by researcher Bill Moore to WPAFB on the Blue Room. Missing (to be added shortly) is a “Blue Room Radar Scope†document that Bill Moore obtained from the Falcon that was attached to the FOIA.
Also to be added in the near future is a reply to Lee Graham from Goldwater in 1996. Many UFO related letters were filed under people names instead of the UFO files so more records will be added as researchers learn of the collection and add letters.
A second collection of Goldwater UFO related letters will also be posted shortly. These letters contain Goldwater correspondence with famous people rumored to have been involved in UFOs. These people include General Curtis LeMay who was involved in the Blue Room event, Bobby Ray Inman who was rumored to have headed up the UFO back-engineering efforts for the US government (and who Goldwater promised to set up a meeting in 1994 for Dr. Greer), Edward Teller, and former carter CIA Director Stansfield Turner. Although the letters are interesting none deal with the UFO subject.
Yet FOIA request by Canadian researcher prompts question – Did the White House investigate the UFO Extraterrestrial matter during the Clinton administration?
White House Rejects ET Petition
Toronto [ZNN] The White House has broken a 64 year old silence on the UFO/ET matter by publicly and summarily dismissing the Paradigm Research Group Disclosure Petition I – stating there is no credible evidence of an ET presence engaging the planet.
It is important to note that this is the first time the White House has made any formal statement on the UFO/ET issue. This precedent is what many UFO/ET enthusiasts have been waiting  for for decades.
More importantly by responding formally, many UFO analysts feel the White House has not simply recognized that over 17,000 individuals signed petitions demanding action to acknowledge the UFO/ET issue but the Obama administration has now opened the door to a wider public discourse on the reality of the UFO phenomenon and the mountain of evidence supporting this reality.
The White House Statement
In a statement by Phil Larson of the Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP) he said in part, “The U.S. government has no evidence that any life exists outside our planet, or that an extraterrestrial presence has contacted or engaged any member of the human race. In addition, there is no credible information to suggest that any evidence is being hidden from the public’s eye.”
In response PRG Executive Director Stephen G. Bassett has filed Disclosure Petition II demanding that the Obama administration investigate UFO Disclosure efforts during the Clinton administration between the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy and billionaire and Clinton friend, Laurance S. Rockefeller.
Did the White House ever examine UFO/ETI information before?
Letters uncovered in a FOIA request by Canadian researcher Grant Cameron show that White House Science Advisor to the President, Dr. Jack Gibbons discussed the UFO extraterrestrial issue as far back as 1993 with billionaire philanthropist Laurance S. Rockefeller, his solicitor Henry Diamond and other White House officials. These correspondences are now in the public domain but remain un-investigated by the press.

In examining these correspondence, ZlandCommunications has learned that one letter from Mr. Rockefeiller to President Bill Clinton indicated Mr. Rockefeller had somehow been made aware that substantial information on UFOs and ETI had been ‘unnecessarily withheld from the public’.
The letter, from Mr. Rockefeller to President Clinton is entitled: ‘Lifting the Secrecy on Information About Extraterrestrial Intelligence as part of the Current Classification Review.’

[Ed. Note: Speculation around how Rockefeller knew information was being withheld is uncertain – however it would not be the first time international or domestic sources of insider information among influential families have been pried loose.]
ZNN has also learned from another letter by Laurance S. Rockefeller to the Science Advisor to President Clinton, Dr. Jack Gibbons that:
At least one meeting was convened to discuss UFOs and extraterrestrial intelligence.
From that meeting Laurance Rockefeller learned Dr. Gibbons had not been advised of a ‘body of knowledge on UFOs and ETI… is being withheld from the public’.
According to Dr. Gibbons, it would be ‘most fruitful’ for Rockefeller to seek out UFO/ETI information from the Department of Defense and,
A letter from Laurance S. Rockefeller to President Clinton was crafted to request the President re-assess government policy on UFO/ETI information.
Surprisingly in his statement of  ‘no evidence’, Mr. Larson avoided any mention of White House or OSTP information about UFO or extraterrestrial intelligence disclosure efforts in previous administrations; nor has any of this information ever been made available to the press by the White House.
Despite Mr. Larson’s statement that, “…no credible information to suggest that any evidence is being hidden from the public’s eye.”, some research analysts remain convinced these correspondences were purposefully sequestered until Mr. Cameron’s FOIA request brought them to light.
Toronto Radio Interview
During an interview on Toronto’s AM 740 Radio on Sunday Nov 27, PRG Executive Director Stephen G. Bassett, indicated the position of  ‘no credible evidence’ taken by the OSTP is not only fallacious but indefensible.
Mr. Bassett and other researchers in the the UFO/ET Disclosure movement point to a massive compendium of other government documents, witness testimony and admissions as well as notarized documents by former high ranking military officials clearly indicating that the UFO/ET phenomenon has been discussed, analyzed, assessed and sequestered at the highest levels of governance and military authority on the planet.
In its own search, ZlandCommunications has discovered that in addition to the Rockefeller letters, other relevant documents and notarized military witness testimony supporting the existence of UFOs and an ET presence are readily available to the press, the public and all government officials. According to Mr. Bassett, the UFO/ET research community remains adamant that this credible information and former military officers’ witness testimony is more than adequate to call an immediate Congressional Hearing.
The question remains – Why has the Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP) not done its due diligence in acquiring these documents and testimony, examining them and moving forward with an investigation?
Disclosure Petition II
In response to the OSTP’s rejection of Disclosure Petition I , PRG has filed a second petition exhorting the White House to look into its own records – those of the Clinton administration which clearly show the White House and the OSTP did indeed engage in discussions and correspondence about  the extraterrestrial matter with philanthropist Laurance S. Rockefeller beginning in 1993.
Disclosure Petition II states:
“We petition the Obama Administration to demand a full congressional investigation of UFO/ET Disclosure efforts by the Clinton OSTP – the Rockefeller Initiative.”
The petition goes on to say, “In response to the Disclosure Petition I, the OSTP stated, ‘The U.S. government has no evidence that any life exists outside our planet, or that an extraterrestrial presence has contacted or engaged any member of the human race.
If true, what was the OSTP investigating from March 1993 to October 1996 in concert with billionaire and Clinton friend, Laurance Rockefeller?
Those who knew of and have not spoken publicly of this initiative include: Bill Clinton, Sec. of State Hillary Clinton, Obama transition co-chair John Podesta, Sec. of Defense Leon Panetta, Dr. John Gibbons, Albert Gore and Governor Bill Richardson.”
Is the White House suppressing evidence?
As the result of Mr. Cameron’s confirmation that during the Clinton administration the White House and OSTP under Dr. Jack Gibbons were indeed in discussions with Laurance S. Rockefeller about the UFO/ET matter – and in combination with the refusal by White House and OSTP to acknowledge this information as evidence, four very disturbing possibilities emerge:
The OSTP’s response is yet another blueprint for the current 64 year-old UFO/ET cover-up,
The OSTP along with the White House are completely out of touch with their own intelligence networks, record keeping and infrastructure or,
The White House and the OSTP may be complicit in the suppression of evidence.
Why did President Clinton make the provocativ admission he wanted to know about UFO/ET matters before thousands in Ireland in 1995 directly in the midst of the Rockefeller Letter’s excahnge:Â Predsident Clinton in Ireland 1995
This last point raises serious judicial as well as constitutional questions.
Congressional Investigation now an imperative
It now appears that the Whie House and the current OSTP staff have placed themselves in the very awkward political position. The White House must not only admit the Clinton/Rockefeller letters exist, but it must also concede the Rockefeller Initiative correspondences do constitute proof that multiple members of the Clinton administration White House staff and the Office of Science and Technology Policy were involved in discussions concerning UFOs and extraterrestrials.
[Ed. Note: John Podesta, President Clinton’s Chief of Staff at the time was clearly aware of this situation. So much so that later in 2002 he came forward at the National Press Club in Washington DC to challenge government secrecy on UFOs. This evidence, in the opinion of many researchers, eliminates any reasonable doubt that the US government had and still maintains a policy of secrecy and denial regarding information about the UFO/ET issue. The continued refusal by the White House to discuss the matter openly or to volunteer any information to the press or the public is yet another indication of a cover-up.
On this basis alone – a public investigation into Rockefeller Initiative letters and Clinton’s role appears not only mandatory but a judicial and congressional imperative.
Conclusion – Journalists must act
One can only conclude that, if allowed to go unscrutinized by the press, the continued White House policy of denial and silence andthe long-proclaimed call for transparency by the Obama administration will be seen for what is it – nothing more than a disingenuous facade.
In the fractious and hyper-frenetic election campaign towards the Presidency, it seems fair to ask – If the Obama administration remains unchallenged by the press on this matter, will the administration ever allow any open discussion about White House involvement with Mr. Rockefeller and the extraterrestrial issue? adding additional gravitas to the suppression of evidence rivaled only by the Nixon administration between 1972 and 1974.
In the event PRG’s Disclosure Petition II reaches the mandatory 25,000 signatures by month’s end, the White House will have to put its mouth where its mandate is… investigate according to the mandate of the “We the People” petition process; placing a large spotlight on the slowly crumbling wall of secrecy it orchestrated some 64 years ago. Will the press then close ranks to take on the White House?
Even without the success of PRG’s petition to examine the Rockefeller Initiative, it is clear the mainstream press has a fiduciary responsibility to bring this matter to forefront of news – forcing accountability onto the highest office in USA.
What are the chances? Some say ‘slim to none’ given the alarming and hermetically sealed power and influence of the White House and its intelligence infrastructure.
Others believe there really are journalists out there who have the capacity to create another Watergate – just when we need it most.

Stories of flying saucer crashes secretly retrieved by elite military teams have been boosted with the release of a new electronic reading room by the FBI known as “The Vault.†Among the documents first released by the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and now more easily accessible to the American public in The Vault is one by Special Agent Guy Hottel. In 1950, Hottel sent a memorandum to J. Edgar Hoover about flying saucer crashes. The Hottel memo is causing a sensation in Britain since the Daily Mail discussed it in a provocative article titled: The memo that ‘proves aliens landed at Roswell’… released online by the FBI.â€. The Daily Mail story was quickly followed by other major media outlets. The memo is startling since it reveals that an unidentified Air Force Investigator, most likely with the Air Force Office of Special Investigations, was relaying accurate information about three flying saucer crashes recovered by the Air Force in the 1940s to an FBI Special Agent.
Three so-called flying saucers had been recovered in New Mexico. They were described as being circular in shape with raised centers, approximately 50ft in diameter. Each one was occupied by three bodies of human shape but only 3ft tall dressed in a metallic cloth of a very fine texture. Each body was bandaged in a manner similar to the blackout suits used by speed flyers and test pilots.
The document cites as its main source an Air Force investigator without giving details of his rank, position, or how he received the information. Given that the memo’s recipient was none other than FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover, it can be safely assumed that the Air Force investigator was a credible military source being cited by an FBI field agent reporting directly to his boss. Hottel’s job as an FBI Special Agent was to relay accurate information of activities coming under his field of operations, or of particular interest to the FBI Director. In relaying such information, Hottel would have to judge the significance and accuracy of the information before relaying it in an official FBI memo to his superior. What the Hottel document does prove is that an Air Force Investigator was willing to share information about crashed flying saucers to an FBI agent who judged the information relevant and significant enough to relay it directly to his superior.
The Hottel memo does not go into specifics as to what flying saucer crashes the Air Force Investigator had in mind. This has led to much speculation and debate among researchers as to whether or not it confirms the 1947 Roswell Crash, or other historic cases such as the 1948 Aztec UFO crash. The FBI’s launch of The Vault has certainly had the effect of sparking public interest in the FBI’s X-Files.
In the first of a series of “Live People’s Conferences” where Julian Assange directly responds to public questions about Wikileaks, he has clarified the nature of most UFO references in its yet-to-be-published diplomatic cables. Back on December 3, 2010, Assange raised expectations when he said in an interview in the Guardian newspaper that “it is worth noting that in yet-to-be-published parts of the cablegate archive there are indeed references to UFOs.” This led to many wondering whether an alleged U.S. government cover-up of UFOs and extraterrestrial life was going to be finally exposed. Indeed, one of the diplomatic cables released by the Norwegian newspaper, Aftenposten, referred to extensive funding for UFO research in the former Soviet Union. In his February 6 response to a question about UFOs, Assange revealed that the contents of the yet-to-be-published diplomatic cables largely dealt with the Raelian UFO cult and its claims of cloning.
In response to a question about releasing cables concerning UFOs, Assange said:
I have said in passing there is information about UFOs in Cablegate. And that is true, but these are only small passing references. Most of the material concerns UFO cults, and their behavior in recruiting people. For instance, there is quite a large cable, which we’ll try and release in the next few days, concerning the Raelians, a UFO cult which has a strong presence in Canada and was of concern to the U.S. ambassador in Canada. At that time, the Raelians claimed to have cloned an individual, and fantastically, the press all around the world ate this up and turned it into front page stories.
The cable in question, yet to be published by Wikileaks itself as Assange said, in fact was released by the Norwegian newspaper, Aftenposten on January 4, 2011. It details the extent of U.S.concerns about the Raelian UFO cult, its cloning claims, and recruiting activities. The cable describes for example, Rael’s beliefs about the creation of humanity by extraterrestrials:
EARTHLINGS HAD BEEN CREATED IN A LABORATORY 25,000 YEARS AGO. SINCE THESE ALIENS WHICH HE CALLS THE ELOHIM (THE HEBREW WORD FOR GOD) ARE 25,000 YEARS AHEAD OF US, RAEL SAYS CLONING IS VERY SIMPLE TASK FOR THEM…. IN THE MEANTIME, RAEL WANTS TO BUILD AN EMBASSY IN ISRAEL TO WELCOME THE ELOHIM WHEN THEY COME BACK IN 2035.
The diplomatic cable focuses on the possibility that the Raelians would use their cloning claims to recruit adherents in the U.S. After reviewing some of the beliefs of the Raelian’s founder, Rael, the cable went on to conclude:
THE PUBLICITY GARNERED BY THE CLONING ANNOUNCEMENT MAY BE USED BY THE RAEL ORGANIZATION TO GAIN NEW ADHERENTS IN THE UNITED STATES.
Assange’s response lays to rest some of the rampart speculation about the extent of UFO reports in Wikileaks cables. For example, Michael Cohen from AllnewsWeb claimed on January 17:
A source from within the inner circle of the Wikileaks team has confidentially leaked to All News Web the content of a State Dept cable, concerning UFO affairs, that Wikileaks has declined to upload onto their website. The cable states: “It is critical all embassy staff understand that they are not to discuss under any circumstance concerns DOD has with UFOs entering orbit, once again the seriousness of this matter cannot be overstated.
According to Assange’s interview, it is safe to conclude that no such diplomatic cable exists of the U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) being concerned about UFOs entering earth’s orbit; or, at least, is not part of the diplomatic cables held by Wikileaks. If UFOs are a major headache for the DOD, as in fact evidence suggests is the case, then this would certainly be more highly classified than the Secret and Confidential files possessed by Wikileaks. According to researcher Timothy Good, such information is classified above Top Secret with “Need to Know” special access.
Similarly, a report in the European Union Times on December 13 revealed what its alleged confidential sources were saying were going to be released by Wikileaks:
A new report circulating in the Kremlin today prepared for President Medvedev by Russian Space Forces (VKS) 45th Division of Space Control says that an upcoming WikiLeaks release of secret US cables details that the Americans have been “engaged” since 2004 in a “war” against UFO’s based on or near the Continent of Antarctica, particularly the Southern Ocean.
Again, it can be concluded from Assange’s “Live People’s Conference” that no such references to a secret UFO war exists in the diplomatic cables held by Wikileaks.
It appears that if smoking gun documentary evidence of a government cover-up of UFOs and extraterrestrial life exists, such evidence has not yet come into the possession of Wikileaks. What can be expected in the weeks or months ahead for Wikileaks is the release of files documenting extensive UFO research by the former Soviet Union (already released by Aftenposten), and perhaps more references to public officials around the world interested in UFOs. None of the UFO references, according to Julian Assange, are of special significance and amount to little more than “small passing references.” So the wait continues for the release of documentation revealing the true extent of U.S. and international government knowledge of UFOs and extraterrestrial life.
The fifth annual Global Competitiveness Forum (GCF) closed yesterday in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Panel presentations and forum discussions took place over January 22-25, 2011. While this conference would normally be of little personal interest to me, this year’s roster of invited speakers at the conference caught my attention. Ufologist Stanton Friedman, journalist and well known British UFO authority Nick Pope, venture capitalist and well known UFO authority Jacques Vallee, and well known science writer, brilliant physicist, and History Channel UFO commentator Michio Kaku were invited to speak at this year’s GCF. The title of their presentation? Contact: Learning From Outer Space. This is a very interesting and welcome new development.
What other familiar faces were invited to speak at the Saudi GCF? The list is a long one, but to name only a few: former British Prime Minister Tony Blair was invited to speak, the Saudi Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, and former U.S. President Bill Clinton. We note that President Clinton’s name and photo were conspicuously absent from the long list of pre-announced conference speakers, but he did stand at the podium and he did speak of our world’s ongoing need for innovation. Perhaps in remaining as inconspicuous as possible, President Clinton hoped to avoid being asked any uncomfortable and possibly embarrassing questions regarding UFOs and the intelligence behind them.
The list of speakers and those who attended this conference is a lengthy roster of the movers and the shakers of our civilization’s global business community. Big companies, big money, big ideas. There is one characteristic about such a group as this of which we can be certain: they would not have their time wasted on nonsense. People whose lives operate at this echelon of human endeavor and responsibility do not suffer fools lightly and they keenly realize that naivety regarding the myriad forces that are at play in shaping our world and our reality is not a virtue. After all, it’s business, and these GCF attendees eat, sleep, and drink business.
Therefore, this unique panel of speakers invited to the 2011 GCF composed of Stanton Friedman, Jacques Vallee, Nick Pope, and Michio Kaku is a highly significant indicator that UFO Disclosure is gaining momentum. With this new involvement of the global business community, Disclosure may be imminent. To many of these business leaders, the term UFO will represent an Unprecedented Financial Opportunity.
The Friedman, Vallee, Pope, and Kaku panel were not invited to the GCF in order that GCF attendees could make fun of them, deride them, and call them “nut casesâ€. They were not invited to the GCF to provide entertainment. They were invited there because the momentum of UFO Disclosure is accelerating, and a great number of highly influential capitalists in our world now know with certainty that the UFO Phenomenon is real. These business leaders are educating themselves about the UFO Phenomenon, trying to put together their After Disclosure game plan in the light of their new awareness of this unprecedented reality. We should pay close attention to these developments and follow this example.
In his SOTU address yesterday evening, President Obama made the point of how quickly our world is changing. He spoke of plans to produce electric cars, high speed trains, and of America’s need to educate and to innovate. He also spoke of biofuels, “clean coalâ€, and natural gas as being a part of America’s plan to meet our future energy requirements. President Obama made it clear from what he said, and from what he did not say, that the U.S. government establishment will continue its policy of avoiding acknowledgment of the reality of the UFO Phenomenon, it will not be mentioned out loud in public, and our government will continue to simply ignore the fact that there are one or more civilizations who have arrived here and who have apparently developed a means to produce energy that powers machines of transport which make electric cars and high speed trains obsolete and primitive means of transportation, even before they are produced.
As concerned citizens of not only our nation the U.S., but also as citizens of planet Earth, we must continue to ask when this charade will end. How can we, in good conscience, choose to continue to squander our planet’s limited resources and to foul Earth’s environment in the production of machines of transport and methods of energy production that are comparatively primitive, obsolete, and environmentally destructive when viewed in light of the frequently described performance characteristics of UFOs and the energy which powers them? We simply cannot afford to continue to sweep this new reality under the carpet and continue to pretend that it does not exist. In the 1800′s, Native Americans were smarter than this. When introduced to the relatively awesome power of the modern rifle they did not ignore this new development in their reality. They did not say “now that we know these weapons exist, lets just not tell any of the others about them and let us pretend that they do not exist”, nor did they say “we will just have to produce a better arrowheadâ€. They quickly recognized the need to completely abandon an old and more primitive technology and adopt an obviously superior technology which would serve their needs to produce the food, clothing, and the defense they required.
If what has transpired at the GCF in Riyadh indicates that the business leadership of our global civilization is at last beginning to recognize the UFO Phenomenon as the highly significant factor in the evolution of our civilization’s future that it will be, we can be thankful for the GCF and thankful that there are some important and influential people out there who are now giving the UFO Phenomenon the attention that it rightfully deserves. Would that the leadership of our own government follow their example!
Here is my suggestion to President Obama and to the U.S. Congress. Tell the budding young scientists presently being educated in our universities that the UFO Phenomenon is real, and task them with the mission to discover and then replicate the means of energy production that is utilized to power them. We do not need to “reinvent the wheelâ€. We need to take this new information that has fallen into our laps and find out how it works in a program of well funded scientific research undertaken by the brightest minds on this planet, unfettered by the secrecy which has stifled previous attempts toward this end by our U.S. military-industrial complex. I believe that President Obama should set up a task force modeled similarly to the “Manhattan Projectâ€, appointed to make Contact with the Visitors, and have this task force attempt to determine who these beings are who are operating the UFOs; from where do they originate, how they have arrived here, how their machines are manufactured, and what means of energy production is used to power them. We should seek to arrange a diplomatic agreement with these Visitors. This is how our nation, and our civilization, can make serious progress to gain the future President Obama spoke of in his SOTU address yesterday evening, and this is how we can protect the precious biosphere of Earth from further degradation through the use of biofuels, “clean coalâ€, natural gas, or any organic materials which we must combust for energy production. Those methods are of the past. UFOs are of the future. Last but not least, we should ask them how they make the “Genuine†Crop Circles. They are absolutely astounding in their beauty and their complexity!
President Obama’s SOTU address was masterfully delivered with very important content. His skill as an orator is brilliant! I believe his heart is in the right place and he is trying to do his best for the American people. His joke about the smoked salmon was pretty funny, and we had a good laugh about that one! President Obama is the one who can present the UFO truth to the world, framed in his reassurance that we have everything to gain from the expansion that our understanding of this universe will undergo when we open up to this new paradigm without fear.
UFOs are not funny nor are they imaginary, and I would respectfully ask that President Obama acknowledge their presence in our reality to the American people and to the world in order that we can then move on to our future and possibly skip the part where we have more fossil fuels and their toxic by-products poured into our gas tanks, spilled into our oceans, spewed into our air, and breathed into our lungs.
On December 3, 2010, the recently deceased retired NORAD officer, Stanley Fulham, predicted a major wave of UFO sightings in Moscow in early-to-mid January. This was to be followed a week later by a major UFO wave in London. Fulham’s prediction raised considerable interest given his earlier success in predicting a major UFO sighting over New York City on October 13. What was particularly noteworthy about his earlier prediction was that the FAA radar facility responsible for three major airports in the New York City metropolitan area was shut down for an hour leading to flight delays. Caught off guard by Fulham’s apparent success, I like many others paid more attention to his next prediction about UFOs in Moscow and London. There have indeed been UFOs sightings in Moscow during period Fulham predicted, but to date these have only been reported by one source and been observed over one location. Nevertheless, this has led to one reporter declaring that Fulham’s prediction has been fulfilled.
In his most recent Examiner article, Alfred Webre writes: “A remarkable UFO wave over Moscow, Russia in early January 2011 has reportedly confirmed the predictions of an apparent regional galactic governance council that its interdimensional spacecraft would appear over Moscow Russia at that time.” Webre lists eight youtube videos confirming the “remarkable UFO wave.” The problem is that six of the videos are taken by one person, Oleg Tarabanov over the same location over the first two weeks of January. The seventh is of a hard to see object in an entirely different rural location; and the eighth UFO video has been pulled and is no longer available.
The videos by Tarabanov are the most interesting and clearly show up to two UFO objects over a location that appears to be in an industrial area of Moscow.
While Tarabanov’s videos are interesting evidence of what appears to be up to two UFOs, they hardly constitute a “UFO wave”; and, most importantly, there has been no independent confirmation of Oleg’s videos. Neither the Russian general public nor media have reported UFO sightings in the period specified by Fulham. This contrasts with the New York UFO October 13 event that was seen by thousands of witnesses and widely reported in the media.
So can the minimal UFO activity reported by Tarabanov from Moscow in early January 2011, be put down as yet another failed UFO prediction, or has Fulham been confirmed as Webre claims with enormous exopolitical significance? Of the latter possibility, Webre writes: “The January 2011 apparent galactic governance UFO sightings over Moscow Russia undescore an apparent determination by the ET council to break the USA-Russia ‘conspiracy of silence’ around the extraterrestrial presence…” In this reporter’s opinion, it is premature to declare Fulham’s prediction has been confirmed. Especially so if the goal was to break a US-Russian “conspiracy of silence.” Perhaps, there is more to come in Moscow or a wave of UFOs will appear over London as Fulham predicted, In either case, the exopolitical significance of Fulham’s predictions will deservedly come under closer scrutiny.
A leading business forum discussing global competitiveness will in its annual conference host a panel discussing UFOs and extraterrestrial life. The Global Competitiveness Forum is hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and discusses business trends and insights essential for future business investment and competitiveness. The panel is titled: “Contact: Learning from Outer Space”, and features famed astrophysicist Dr Michio Kaku and a leading Islamic scholar, together with prominent UFO experts Stanton Friedman and Nick Pope. The Global Competitiveness Forum is poised to introduce, perhaps for the first time, many world business leaders to key issues concerning UFOs and extraterrestrial life, and how these impact on economic competitiveness.
The Global Competitiveness Forum (GCF) is hosted by the Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority and will be hosted in the capital Riyadh from January 22-25, 2011. The GCF website says:

Psychological and socio-cultural assumptions and preconceptions constrain us to a large extent, and shape our views of the universe so that we are inclined to find what we are looking for, and fail to see what we are not. Using knowledge gained from research in the fields of Ufology and the search for extraterrestrial life, what might we possibly learn about hindrances to innovation in other areas of inquiry?
According to an email from veteran UFO researcher Stanton Friedman, the panel will feature five speakers including himself:
It is interesting that the 5th Annual Global Competitiveness Forum to be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Jan. 23-26 has the courage to have a panel “Contact: Learning from Outer Space.” Featuring Dr. Jacques Vallee, Nick Pope, Dr. Michio Kaku, myself and an Egyptian Scientist Dr. Zaghloul El Naggar”, a member of the Supreme Council of Islamic Affairs.
A clue into what is likely to be discussed in the upcoming panel is the question: “using knowledge gained from research in the fields of Ufology and the search for extraterrestrial life, what might we possibly learn about hindrances to innovation in other areas of inquiry?” The GCF appears to be interested in learning about how information and/or technology has been constrained in the past, and what this means for the future business investment. In a recent book, Flying Saucers and Science and article on his website, Stanton Friedman discusses how nuclear fusion energies were stifled in the past, along with repression of information concerning extraterrestrial life and technologies used for interstellar propulsion. Similarly, Dr Michio Kaku has described some of the advanced energy propulsion systems most likely to be used by advanced extraterrestrial civilizations.
The GCF hopes to stimulate dialogue over how issues related to UFOs and extraterrestrial life impact on the national competitiveness of oil producing countries such as Saudi Arabia. As the world’s leading oil energy supplier, Saudi Arabia is taking a keen interest in future trends where new energy systems are developed for mass consumption. By taking a proactive role in business dialogue and investment plans that discuss extraterrestrial life and alternative/new energy technologies, Saudi Arabia hopes to use its enormous wealth as a means of ensuring the future prosperity of its kingdom and citizens. That is both the right political move and smart business strategy, and will encourage world business leaders to also take proactive steps on issues related to extraterrestrial life and technology.
Julian Assange arrested in London on December 7, 2010
On Tuesday morning at 9:30 am, Wikileaks founder Julian Assange was placed under arrest and denied bail by British authorities for allegations of rape being investigated in Sweden. A new Swedish prosecutor had reopened an investigation against Assange despite a previous prosecutor deciding against pressing charges. One of the women involved in the case had after the alleged rape incident thrown a party for Assange’s benefit. That and other actions by the women involved persuaded the original prosecutor not to charge Assange. One of the women has been found to have connections to the CIA suggesting Assange may have been set up in a ‘honey trap’ operation. The arrest and detention of Assange creates confusion over how and when future diplomatic cables will be released. Of special interest, are those concerning UFOs.
Wikileaks had come increasingly under pressure from the U.S. government and major allies such as Australia, Sweden and France to prosecute Julian Assange, and/or curtail internet servers hosting leaked classified U.S. diplomatic cables. Amazon.Com, Paypal, and the internet service EveryDNS.net all quickly jettisoned their connections to Wikileaks after pressure from U.S. authorities. All this has occurred despite the fact that many believe the documents released so far are pretty innocuous and amount to little more than diplomatic chatter. Some Wikileaks critics had gone so far as to claim that Assange is actually aiding and abetting a major U.S. ally, Israel, by selectively releasing documents. Others viewed the Wikileaks release as part of a false flag operation to justify internet censorship. The most recent response by U.S. authorities to request diplomatic and military personnel NOT to read the Wikileaks material is deemed by some to be a panicked over-reaction that may in the end only help Wikileaks grow in popularity. If the diplomatic cables released so far are innocuous, helping a major U.S. ally or a false flag operation, as some claim, why the panicked response by U.S. authorities? The answer may lie in a brief response Assange gave to a question in a Guardian newspaper interview. Assange said that some of the diplomatic cables soon to be released contain references to UFOs.
In response to a question about whether any of the documents sent to Wikileaks discussed UFOs and extraterrestrial life, Assange began his response by dismissing the relevance of much of what he had received:
Many weirdos email us about UFOs or how they discovered that they were the anti-christ whilst talking with their ex-wife at a garden party over a pot-plant. However, as yet they have not satisfied two of our publishing rules.
1) that the documents not be self-authored;
2) that they be original.
Just as it appeared that Wikileaks had no credible documents about UFOs, Assange made a bombshell admission: “However, it is worth noting that in yet-to-be-published parts of the cablegate archive there are indeed references to UFOs.†Assange did not elaborate on the context of the UFO related documents, nor did he give a time table for their release.
According to a number of confidential insider sources known to alternative science researcher David Wilcock, there has been a furious behind-the-scenes struggle over the pace and extent of UFO disclosure. He claims that Wikileaks is likely to release enough information about UFOs to bring a rapid end to the decades-long secrecy surrounding extraterrestrial life and technology.
This is very, very interesting. Disclosure is happening now. It hasn’t gotten into UFOs just yet, but we’re already seeing the signs of what true Disclosure will be like – an explosive burst of new information that the insiders do not want you to know, all coming out at once.
If Wilcock is correct, Wikileaks is poised to transform the world as we know it. That would explain the panicked reaction to the Wikileaks releases by U.S. authorities, and may even be related to the apparent honey trap operation that has resulted in Assange’s arrest.
Prominent figures on the right wing of U.S. politics such as Mike Huckabee, Sarah Palin and Rush Limbaugh have gone as far as calling for Assange to be hunted down, tried and executed for the damage he has caused to U.S. national interests. The FOX news network is most prominent in advocating a draconian line to be taken against Assange and Wikileaks. What is not well understood is that FOX news has been instrumental in creating a debilitating partisan political environment that has hamstrung the Obama administration in its policy initiatives. FOX news represents the interests of prominent political and industrial figures that have long been associated with the cover-up of UFOs and extraterrestrial life.

At the other end of the political spectrum, the Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton has tried to make lemonade out of the Wikileaks lemon by focusing on what it reveals about the professionalism of U.S. diplomacy. In a recent dinner she praised the “full breadth and depth of American artistry and diversity,” adding in jest, “I am writing a cable about it, which I’m sure you’ll find soon on your closest website.” What Clinton is not revealing is her own past role in endorsing the release of UFO files as First Lady during the Clinton administration. Hillary, along with President Clinton, met with Laurence Rockefeller in 1995 in Wyoming. The Clintons were given an informal briefing about why it was in U.S. national interests to disclose information about UFOs and extraterrestrial life. FOIA documents confirm that Hillary then became Rockefeller’s point person in encouraging the Clinton administration to move forward with such a release. Political contingencies led to the Clintons eventually failing in their efforts to have UFO files released. Similarly, the Obama administration has failed to make much headway in behind the scenes efforts to release UFO documents partly due to the highly partisan political environment created by the FOX news network.
Hillary Clinton is very aware of the contents of diplomatic cables yet to be released. If some concern UFOs, they may well be the catalyst for the collapse of secrecy surrounding the truth behind UFOs and extraterrestrial life. That may help explain why Clinton is more muted in what punitive action should be taken against Assange. Clinton, along with others in the Obama administration, privately welcome the release of documents that bring to an end the secrecy surrounding UFOs. However, the prominence and influence of many right wing commentators associated with the FOX news network, the Obama administration has to be seen to be taking action to put a stop to Wikileaks. Hence the dubious legal effort to investigate bringing criminal charges against Assange, and attempt to prevent diplomatic personnel reading online the classified documents released by Wikileaks. The official U.S. response to the Wikileaks release is not well thought out and is predicted to very likely increase public interest and support for the Wikileaks material. The U.S. response very likely reflects conflicting reactions of panic and elation among senior policy makers over a possible catastrophic collapse in the secrecy system surrounding UFOs.
Assange’s arrest in Britain creates uncertainty over when and how future diplomatic cables will be released. The denial of bail to Assange on flimsy legal grounds is likely to be used as a lever by authorities behind the scenes to prevent or slow the release of some of the more damaging diplomatic information. The result however may be the so called ‘nuclear option’ Assange has threatened where all the diplomatic cables will be released at once without any redactions or filtering. Despite Assange’s arrest, Wikileaks continues to function and today tweeted that the gradual release will continue. So whether the nuclear option happens or classified information continues to come out gradually, the eventual release of diplomatic cables concerning UFOs may lead to a collapse of the secrecy system surrounding UFOs and extraterrestrial life. That will change the world as we know it.

ONe mile wide Pyramid UFO allegedly hovers over Kremlin on December 9, 2009
Stanley Fulham, a retired NORAD officer, has been given further predictions concerning the appearance of extraterrestrial spacecraft/UFOs over major world cities. In an alleged communication with a group of extraterrestrials called the “Transcendors†he was recently told that extraterrestrial vehicles will first appear in early January 2011 over Moscow and then one week later over London. Fulham’s latest set of predictions are noteworthy since he successfully predicted UFOs over New York City on October 13, 2010. Shortly after the UFOs appeared, the FAA Westbury radar facility responsible for three major airports in New York City was evacuated for an hour leading to flight delays/cancellations at La Guardia, Newark and JFK airports. According to a reliable source, similar radar disruptions occurred at a major Chinese airport in the region of Hangzhou in July 2010 after UFOs appeared, leading once again to flights being delayed/cancelled for an hour. If UFOs do appear over Moscow and/or London in early January 2010, any flight disruptions at nearby airports will help confirm whether or not Fulham’s predictions are accurate.
Fulham’s latest prediction was given to him soon after the UFO appearance over New York City on October 13. This is what Fulham said:
In my last ‘Reading’ with the Transcendors on Tuesday, October 2010, the Transcendors advised me of the following predictions on the Pleiadian’s UFO displays: A. There will be a major UFO display over Moscow between the end of the first part of January 2011 and the second week of January 2011. B. This ‘display’ will be followed by a major display over London approximately seven days later. C. Interventions will then accelerate, not so much over our cities, but dispersed over our continents with sightings increasing in duration. The intent of these interventions is to increase mankind’s acceptance of the alien phenomena, so that hopefully, we will be prepared to accept a face-to-face encounter and communicate, perhaps as early as next year (2011).
During the October 13 UFO sighting in New York City, the media was quick to attribute the sighting to party balloons launched from a nearby Mt Vernon elementary school around 1 pm. This was despite the fact that the UFOs were first sighted in the morning of October 13, and continued throughout the day. Most remarkably, the FAA radar facility was evacuated later in the day due to an apparent gas leak that led to temporary airport closings at La Guardia, Newark and JFK. The FAA explanation was likely a cover story that attempted to hide any possible link between the temporary radar disruption and the UFO appearance.
On July 7, 2010, similar circumstances happened at a major Chinese airport in the Hangzhou region when a UFO appeared nearby. According to a reliable source, the UFO directly interfered with the airport radar system closing the airport temporarily and leading to the re-routing of flights. This is what Neil Gould begin_of_the_skype_highlighting     end_of_the_skype_highlighting from Exopolitics Hong Kong had to say about his source concerning the Hangzhou UFO incident.
A reliable Source which must remain anonymous has said that the UFO was first noticed by an airline but prior to being reported, the radar in the control tower suffered temporary failure.
If a UFO does appear over Moscow, it will not be the first time in recent history. On December 9, 2009, one day before President Obama was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize, a one mile UFO pyramid allegedly hovered over the Kremlin for several hours. The UFO appeared to be related to a mysterious spiral that appeared shortly before over Norwegian skies.
According to a confidential source, a Russian submarine had earlier fired missiles at the spiral in order to prevent UFOs/extraterrestrial vehicles coming through it. If the spiral was in fact some kind of stargate/dimensional portal for extraterrestrial vehicles, then the appearance of the one mile wide pyramid UFO over the Kremlin was likely a show of force to send a strong message to Russian leaders about the folly of firing missiles in the vicinity of extraterrestrial vehicles. If Fulham is correct in his Moscow UFO prediction, it will be interesting to see the response of Russian leaders.
Fulham’s successful October 13 prediction of UFOs over New York has gained the attention of this writer and many others given the rare success of such predictions. The fact that New York’s three major metropolitan airports were temporarily closed during the UFO appearance, as happened earlier in the July 7 incident in Hangzhou China, does suggest a relationship between UFO sightings and radar operations. If UFOs do appear over Moscow and London in early January 2011, one way to confirm that they are extraterrestrial in origin is whether nearby airports in Moscow and London are affected in some way. One thing is certain. Fulham will gain even more global attention if his latest predictions prove to be accurate. Further Reading

P: After you saw the crash you brought people back there. And who did you bring back? You brought back who? …
R: What happened is that after the crash, we went home, back to the ranch.
P: Can you tell me the date of this? The approximate date of this? We know it’s 1945.
R: 1945, August…. And it was like the 15th….  I was age 7 and Jose was 9. Jose’s dad Faustino had asked us a couple of days earlier, to find a cow that was ready to have a calf…. We went over looking for that cow. And so while we were there, it was not abnormal in late summer, to have thunderstorms and lightning and this time was no different so we took refuge under a ledge. … Jose had packed a lunch, a couple of tortillas and I think a couple of apples. We sat down to eat that and the storm and rains came. We got under there so we wouldn’t get too wet. Then it just kind of sprinkled a little bit and was all over. We were getting ready to go up and take another look at the cow and see if it was eating and take a closer look at the calf. While we were doing that, we heard this loud bang.
P: You heard the actual crash.
R: We didn’t know it was a crash at that time…. We heard this sound and the ground shook, and so memories came back of the atomic bomb explosion. Are they testing again or what? So we looked around, saw smoke coming from maybe a couple of canyons down, up that way. So Jose says, “let’s go over and take a look, see what’s going on.†We started walking, and we saw a little smoke coming from that direction. As we reached the ridge, the smoke became intense. Then we worked our way down the ridge so we could see what appeared to be a big gouge in the ground. It looked like a road grader had been in there. We were not aware that anyone had a 100-foot wide grader, but it sure looked like a 100-foot wide blade had been here, grading about a foot deep. We started walking up this graded road, it was pretty rough on our feet and it was warm. The bottoms of our feet felt hot.
P: And do you remember around what time it was?
R: I didn’t have a watch. Probably 4 or 5 in the afternoon, maybe later.
P: I’m asking because you can see what you’re looking at, it’s not dark.
R: No, it’s not dark. But as we look up this graded road, there’s a lot of smoke. So we retreated to where we could get some air and take a drink from the canteen and kind of recollect our thoughts and try to understand what this is all about. I asked Jose, “is that a plane that went down?†I’ve only seen planes in the air. We live in a small town. Don’t see many planes. Jose says, “Don’t know, maybe somebody might be hurt and maybe we need to help them. “I said ok, okay, and so we continued trying to get closer. We could see something over on the edge of that graded gash…. It doesn’t go just straight. It goes and then it makes a right turn, like an “Lâ€. We could see something but you know, there’s so much dust in the air, and it’s humid from the rain and then some of that brush, that oily brush is burning so the smoke’s coming into your eyes, it’s really hard to see and make any sense of it at all. We went back up and rested, returned, and Jose has his binoculars out and starts looking to see what it are. He says,“You know there’s something over there. Let’s see if we can get any closer.â€Â Again, we try to get closer and finally it starts clearing up a little. The time seems to be going by very fast. We’re looking through the binoculars and I could see the hole on the side of this object. The object is avocado shaped.

P: So it’s a round object like an avocado and you could see there’s a hole. How far would you say you guys were from the object?
R: I would estimate about a couple of hundred feet….
P: And then you saw the inside of the hole from the couple hundred feet?
R: No, not the inside of the hole. Jose says, “look at this.†So I was looking through these binoculars at these little creatures moving back and forth.
P: Were they moving really fast?
R: They were “like“ sliding…. Not sliding, but more like willing themselves from one place to another-that type of sliding. And as I’m looking at that, things began happening to my mind.
I’m seeing them and I’m feeling this crazy stuff, like I really feel sorry for them…. And I really feel sorry, like they’re kids, too.
P: And you had a concern for them. And you’re thinking, did you feel something because of the accident?
R: Yes, I think so; I’m hearing this high-pitched sound coming from there. We didn’t know what to think. The only high-pitched sounds we were familiar with were of Jack Rabbits when they were in pain, and also the sound that comes out of a newborn baby when it cries.
P: I find this interesting. So you heard this same sound?
R: And so that was pretty moving to us. Then we saw these pictures in our heads…. I didn’t know what the heck they were.
P: In other words, you got a telepathic transfer from these beings – you think?
R: Yes, if that’s what it was…. I can remember what they are, I got pictures, but I didn’t know what they meant then, and I still don’t know.
P:Â So they obviously knew you were there?
R: Yes, they must have known we were there.…
P: If the beings looked out and they were looking at you, you not only could see them, maybe they were transferring those images to you. So what did you guys do, run away?
R: We looked at them and now it was starting to get dark and we had a long hike to get to the horses and back to the ranch. But Jose wants to go in, and I don’t…. And I’m saying, Jose, “what is it? “ His response is “I don’t know.â€Â  Okay. If you don’t know what the heck this is, I ain’t going into it. There’s no way. “I wanna go home. I don’t want to go in. You’ll have to go by yourself. I’m going home, I’ll meet you at the ranch.â€Â And he says, “Well let’s watch for a little while.  You know, maybe you’re right. I don’t know what they are. They kinda look like kids, very strange kids.â€â€¦
P: So if I was to ask you about the diameter of this thing, how big would say it was? Did you try to compare to something or….
R: About twenty-five or 30 feet long. Thirty-feet long. Okay. R: Fourteen-feet high. How do I know? Because of the rafters of a house are fourteen-feet tall…. Well, we finally agreed that we ought to go home because it was getting late. So we started off, went down and got on our horses and started off. It was getting dark then and it was pitch dark by the time we got to the ranch. And Jose’s dad was waiting for us. He was worried. So we went in and Jose told him the story about the cow and then he started telling him about the crash…. And I told him what I saw and so his dad says, well, the first thing we got to do is we got to get you home. We’ll look into this in the next day or so. It probably belongs to the government, and that’s probably it. We need to maybe stay away from there. And so they drove me home, I left my horse there and they took care of it. They drove me home and Faustino had a long talk with my mom regarding the object that we had discovered on the Padilla ranch. Faustino emphasized it might endanger his job, since my dad worked for the government…. My dad worked for the Veterans Hospital in Albuquerque, and Jose’s dad worked for the Federal Refuge in development, El Bosque Del Apache near San Antonio…. And so that was basically what happened that night. The following day, Jose came over to my house, and I went with him to his house, where we met Eddie Apodaca who was a State Policeman, and a friend of the family. Faustino had asked him to go with us to the crash site. They rode in the state police car, and we rode in the pickup truck. We drove as far as we could get with the vehicles, and we walked the rest of the way to the crash site.   When we got close to the crash site, looking down from the hill, we couldn’t see the object…. Standing on top of a hill, looking downwards where we had seen the object, it was no longer visible to us, at that time. No explanation why. We simply could not see it. It seemed gone. Jose says well, “I don’t know what’s going on here.†Eddy and Faustino said, “What did you say you saw?â€Â My response was, it’s down there, but we can’t see it. Faustino said let’s walk down there and take a look. We started walking down and then we saw it. The object had a lot of debris over it and so I’m asking Faustino, how come we couldn’t see it from up there. His response was that he didn’t know.
P: You’re saying it was almost invisible.
R: I almost couldn’t see it. Then we got there and they said okay, you guys stay here and we’re going to go in…. So they went in and we stood there, sat down and watched them. And they were in there 5 or 10 minutes and came out. They had a change of attitude, a complete change of attitude. They were almost like different people. They had seen something they’d never seen before. They came out and said, okay. Here’s the way it is. I want you guys to listen. This is very difficult. You’re under oath. You don’t tell anybody about this, not your brother, not your cousin, not your mother, not your father, that’s our business. We’ll take care of that. And the reason for this is that you can get in trouble. We want to keep you out of trouble. So we agreed to that and they gave us a really big lecture, and so we took it very serious. …
We went back several times. Jose went sometimes with and sometimes without me. You know, we were kids. We worked that area. As kids our dad gives us a little money for doing that work, and if we didn’t, who would? … Then we were going in there, and we were going to go and see what we could find. We went there on a workday, before Faustino and Apodaca went with us. It was in the afternoon, after we had gotten done with our work…. Finally, we got there in the late afternoon, we were on horseback and came in from a different direction looking from the opposite side of the ridge, we saw some military people picking up stuff.
… But we never got to check the craft, all we got to do was go down and get some of the debris and threw it in this crevice and we tried to cover it with dirt and rocks. After the two jeeps left, it was already getting dark and we had to get home.
P: What did that material feel like, the material that you threw into the trench? Was it like, you know, like lead or was it soft or like aluminum, or how was it? Do you have a piece of it? Was it like stone?

R: Kind of like this piece that I’m holding in my hand…. It was hard. On the first day, I had gotten a piece of that aluminum foil type, and showed it to Jose. It reminded me of the aluminum foil that came in the Philip Morris cigarettes that my mother smoked. I took that and put it in my pocket…
P: Whatever happened to that?
R: I used it to repair the windmill cylinder.
P: So the second day basically you waited until the military went away. And you got more pieces, dragged them into the trench, but you didn’t see the beings then.
R: Too far from the crevice and it was getting dark. The military had been there, we saw them, but I don’t think they saw us.
P: The thing was left there and then the next day Jose’s father and Apodaca went.
R: Right.
P: And you took them there. Okay. And then did you see it again? The craft?
R: Yes, it was still there.
P: I mean, you went there a fourth day, yourselves?
R: No, no. Then after, probably the third or fourth day Jose came over to my house and we picked some chilies, green peppers, tomatoes because we had a vegetable garden and they didn’t, and we filled a couple of bags with vegetables and we took one to his house. We went in the back door. And as we go in there was a military vehicle in front and there’s a soldier there at the screen door talking to his dad, so we go around the back and in through the kitchen to join them. Faustino says, come on in here boys. So we joined him and he’s talking to a Sgt. Avila, and he invites him in. Sgt. Avila says “I’m with the US Army and what I need to do is permission from you to go in and cut the fence and put in a gate because we have one of our “experimental weather balloons†that inadvertently fell on your property.
P: He called it a weather balloon? Those words?
R: An experimental weather balloon, and so we need to recover that, so we need permission to do that. So his dad says, “Why can’t you come in through the cattle guard like everybody else does instead of cutting my fence down?†And he says, “Because the equipment that we’re going to bring in is wider than your cattle guard, it won’t fit through there. He says, “In the mean time, you have a gate that locks that up and we need to have a key so we can get in there and cut that fence and put in a gate.†He says, “We’ll put in a good gate for you. And then we need to bring in some road-building equipment, some graters and so forth and see if we can grade a road to get that truck in there to get that weather balloon out of there.†So finally Jose’s father says, “Okay,†and they both spoke mostly in Spanish. He says, “Okay, go ahead and do that.†He says, “Keep an eye on the place and make sure nobody goes there because you know, this is really important, you know, we don’t let anybody know about it.†We don’t want to cause any trouble for anybody, and so try and keep an eye on it, so nobody that hasn’t any business going there, doesn’t go there. And so, Faustino say, “Okayâ€, and Sgt. Avila left and that’s when they officially began the process of preparing the area to take the object away. The recovery wasn’t like what we read in UFO books, people in purple uniforms dropping in from helicopters, everything sanitized. Nothing like that.
P: And they weren’t wearing protective clothing?
R: Yes they were wearing fatigues. They put up a tent, played a radio, western music…. We were watching them, as often as we could, sometimes in the morning, and evening. It was our job to check and maintain the fences, keep track of the herd, including horses. We could hear the radio music going. There was one guy there at the tent, and two or three working, picking up the debris. They bring in this tractor-trailer, they have a welder, acetylene welder, and they build this rack so they can get the craft on it because it’s got to go on sideways. Then we figured out they were doing that because they had to go under the overpass at a forty-five degree angle in order to clear it.
P: Did they tie it up or put a tarp over it?
R: Yes, put a tarp on it.
P: And tied it up…. And you saw them pick up debris at the crash site?
R: Yes
P: They left the ship. And explain to me how you got this metal.
R: On the final day when they brought in a small crane, about I imagine a fifteen to twenty foot crane and they dragged the craft onto the tractor-trailer.
P: Did they ever see you?
R: I don’t know if they ever did, or cared…. Well, you know, they weren’t looking for us, and there was vegetation on the side of the hills, and we weren’t very tall, so it was easy for us to hide.
P: But you didn’t go and talk to them or anything.
R: … Years later, one of the soldiers married Jose’s cousin.
P: You just said one of them married Jose’s cousin and the obvious question everybody would have would be did this military man who married Jose’s cousin ever talk about this incident?
R: Don’t believe he knew. He was just doing his job, picking up the debris, looking forward to completing his assignment and going home. The war had ended, and a lot of the soldiers had been restricted near the base near Trinity site for the last 90 days….
Jose say’s “Let’s head down and wait a little while until they leave and then we’ll go.†We waited for a while and then everybody took off. They had these military pickups and they took off. So we know where they’re going, they’d be gone for a while. We worked our way up there and where the crevice was, they had run the grater through it, so nobody would even know that a crevice existed. Then we worked our way outside the fence, towards the back of the truck and stepped it off. If you made a big enough step it was three feet. Maybe we were off a few feet, but that’s the measurements we had. Twenty-five to thirty long and about fourteen-feet tall. And then we looked at the underneath part of the craft, because we had not seen this part of it, it was partly under ground. So now we get to see the whole thing. Boy, this thing is a monster; it’s big. Now we can see the bottom. And in the bottom it’s got like three little indentations, little grooves under there, on each side.
P: Well, maybe they were for the landing pad. Maybe some kind of feet came out of it.
R: Could be. And so Jose pulls part of the tarp off, exposing the gash on the side of the craft, while I hold the tarp open. Jose climbs into the gash… I was partially in, holding the tarp letting the light in. First, there’s nothing hardly in there.
P: But he could see the shape of it? Like if there were any rooms? Was it smooth all the way around. Were there any panels? If there were, try to explain it to me.
R: Jose said there were like ridges every so many feet

P: Did he see any panels, like control panels?
R: No. He didn’t see like a big panel. We were talking maybe about two and one half-foot panel.
P: Was it attached to the wall, this panel?
R: To the bulkhead, the rear wall, maybe? … What would be the rear wall to us. He tried to jerk it off and he couldn’t so then he went and got a cheater bar from the front of tractor-trailer. Something like a crow bar, it’s called a cheater bar in the trucking industry. It’s used for testing the tightness of the chains holding the load down on the tractor-trailer.
P: You described the pins and what were they like?
R: Yes, a one-way fastener. They go in one way and they can’t come out. They were serrated fasteners that were inside the holes, and that’s what was holding this bracket-type piece on the panel that was located on the bulkhead (rear wall.)The pins were yellow.
P: The pins were like yellow? That was my next question. What kind of color did you have? What kind of colors are we dealing with?
R: Yellow. The pins were yellow. Silvery colored strands of what I would compare to angel hair. No seats or anything, nothing. It must have been cleaned out, or maybe there weren’t any. Couldn’t see any instruments, like gages, clocks, steering wheel, brake pedals, nothing like that.

Born on the edge of Ground Zero, living in the shadow of Area 51, two little Hispanic children experienced an extraordinary event occurred? Jose Padilla, age 9 and Reme Baca, age 7 witnessed a saucer crash on Padilla land in the town San Antonio, New Mexico. They were witness to one of the most spectacular events in UFO history.
This new book entitled, Born the Edge of Ground Zero, Living in theShadow of Area 51, will be released February 2011 and is Jose Padilla’s and Reme Baca’s detailed account of what happened in their childhood. They explain what they saw; the actual crash, the creature’s appearances, the pieces they took, the military clean up and an in-depth analysis of the significance of this case.
First printed in The Mountain Mail, Soccorro, New Mexico on November 2, 2003 by journalist Ben Moffet, the case was passed to me, journalist/researcher, Paola Harris, in May 4, 2009. The desire to finally disclose the details and the kind invitation of Reme Baca, led me to fly to Gig Harbor in Washington State in the Northern part of the United States to interview witness Reme Baca and his wife, Virginia in July 2010. Consequently because he now lives in California, I interviewed Jose Padilla by telephone from the Baca house. During my two-day stay, IÂ was able to see and photograph the piece that Jose extracted from the craft and study the detailed analysis of its composition done in Europe.
It is one of the most astounding cases I have ever covered in my career and it helps complete the puzzle of why there has been so many crash retrievals in New Mexico. As journalist Ben Moffet, who so beautifully describes the cover-up – we can begin to see where it fits in UFO history.
It was in this crucible of suspicion and disinterest bred by familiarity that a small contingent of the U.S. Army passed almost unnoticed through San Antonio in mid-to-late August, 1945 on a secret assignment.
Little or nothing has been printed about the mission, shrouded in the “hush-hush” atmosphere of the time. But the military detail apparently came from White Sands Proving Grounds to the east where the bomb was exploded. It was a recovery operation destined for the mesquite and greasewood desert west of Old US-85, at what is now Milepost 139, the San Antonio exit of Interstate 25.
Over the course of several days, soldiers in Army fatigues loaded the shattered remains of a flying apparatus onto a huge flatbed truck and hauled it away. That such an operation took place between about Aug. 20 and Aug. 25, 1945, there is no doubt, insist two former San Antonioans, Remigio Baca and Jose Padilla, eyewitnesses to the event.Padilla, then age 9, and Baca, 7, secretly watched much of the soldiers’ recovery work from a nearby ridge.
Thanks to the work of Ben Moffet, and now thanks to the witnesses themselves, currently in their 70’s, the world will know see that there was certain extraterrestrial interest in our discovery of the atomic bomb. It opened up a Pandora’s box in human history that cannot easily be closed. It put humanity and possibly other dimensional visitors in danger of total destruction. San Antonio was more than a crash, a sighting – an event. It was a warning that the military today is not heeding, whether it is in the US, or abroad. If we add the courageous testimony Air Force panel led by Robert Hastings and seven retired USAF officers at the Washington Press club on September 27th of 2010, then we realize the time has come to speak. If these visitors have the capacity of UFOs to either disable or shoot down our nuclear missiles, then we can see that 70 years later, they are taking action.
Ultimately, the 1945 San Antonio case presents a peaceful message, a powerful warning to the planet.
Video has just been released of Gerald Anderson who was five years old when he and his family came across a crashed UFO near Roswell, New Mexico in July 1947. In his testimony, Anderson describes how his family were the first to reach the scene and found four extraterrestrials outside of a crashed flying saucer. Two were dead, a third was injured, and a fourth appeared uninjured. A university archeologist with five students, and a map surveyor soon joined them. Finally, the U.S. military arrived and quickly removed them from the scene using threats and physical intimidation to ensure their silence. Anderson described how the soldiers did not appear surprised by the crashed extraterrestrial vehicle suggesting that this was not the first time a UFO had crashed. Anderson remained silent for 43 years before going public in 1990. In the two part video that follows, he is being interviewed by Stanton Friedman.

FAA Westbury Radar Facility was evacuated during October 13 UFO New York sighting.
On October 13, 2010 several dozen UFOs were sighted over Manhattan, New York City. Reports of the sightings began from around 1:30 pm and lasted into late Wednesday afternoon. On being approached by several news media for comment, the Federal Aviation Authority (FAA) first reported nothing appeared on their radar. When it was later learned that a school in nearby Mt Vernon had released several party balloons in the sky, many media sources claimed the mystery behind the New York UFOs was solved. What media sources covering the New York UFO sightings failed to mention was that from 6:45 pm of the same day (October 13), the FAA had closed down air operations at New York’s three airports for about an hour.
The FAA claimed that the flight delays were due to a “gas smell” from the FAA radar facility in Westbury that handles New York City flights. According to an Associated Press story on the mysterious gas smell, it led to the radar facility being closed and the evacuation of radar technicians. What’s more likely is that the FAA closed its radar facility and delayed flights due to the UFOs hovering at the time over Manhattan. More importantly, the UFOs may have interfered in some way with the radar equipment. If so, then it appears that the FAA is covering up the true significance of UFOs witnessed over New York City.
Here’s what Jim Peters, an FAA spokesperson, first said when asked about the UFO sightings over Manhattan.
We re-ran radar to see if there was anything there that we can’t account for but there is nothing in the area…. There was some helicopter traffic over the river at that time and we checked with LaGuardia Tower. And they said they had nothing going low at that time…. Nothing that we can account for would prompt this kind of response.”:
Peters went on to claim, “if it was a weather balloon or any kind of organized balloon release, authorities should have been notified in advance. Police officials said they had received no notification.”
While the FAA was denying any significance to the New York UFO story, an Associated Press story revealed that New York’s three major airports had been disrupted during the UFO sighting. The official cause for the disruption was the “smell of gas” at the radar facility handling all three major airports that led to its brief evacuation. Here’s what the AP reported
Authorities say the radar facility that handles all arrivals and departures for New York City’s three major airports was briefly evacuated after the smell of gas was reported. Flights were being delayed. Federal Aviation Administration spokesman Jim Peters says the facility in Westbury was evacuated as a precaution at about 6:45 p.m. Wednesday. A handful of air traffic controllers remained behind. He says other staff members were cleared to return about an hour later. But he says the evacuation led to residual delays at LaGuardia, Kennedy and Newark airports. The FAA’s website says departures at LaGuardia were delayed up to an hour. It wasn’t immediately clear how many flights were affected.
The one hour closure of air operations at New York’s three airports together with the evacuation of the radar facility during the appearance of UFOs over Manhattan may simply be an extraordinary coincidence. What’s far more likely, however, is that the FAA is covering up the true significance of the UFOs sighted on October 13, and how the UFOs led to flight delays for three major airports, and even interfered with the FAA’s radar facility in a way that led to its closure. This has many parallels with recent airport closings in China where radar operations were disrupted by UFOs.
The likelihood that the FAA is covering-up the significance of the UFOs leads to serious doubt over the party balloons explanation now being circulated by the mass media as to what appeared over New York City. The New York Post , Fox News and other media sources have all claimed the UFOs were balloons released by children at a nearby school in Mt Vernon. A Youtube video reveals that about a dozen party balloons were accidently released around midday for a birthday celebration.
The party balloon explanation is however very unlikely given the time involved between initial and later reports. Even though the New York UFO sightings were first officially reported at 1:30 pm, shortly after the accidental Mt Vernon party balloon release, witnesses described seeing the UFOs as early as 9:30 am on October 13, and that they numbered as many as 50. Also, the closure of the New York radar facilities and flight delays began at 6:45 pm. Up to this time, UFOs were being sighted and filmed by New York residents. Could a dozen party balloons hover for more than five hours over Manhattan after first drifting down from nearby Mt Vernon, and remain stationary over NYC? More importantly, could party balloons have mysteriously contributed to the evacuation of the Westbury radar facility, and flight delays for up to an hour at three major airports?
The party balloon explanation falls apart at closer examination. It nevertheless appears to have been quickly accepted by the mass media in what appears to be an officially sanctioned attempt to cover up the truth behind the New York UFO sightings. This leads to the most plausible explanation that the UFOs were intelligently controlled objects that caused problems with the Westbury radar facility. This led to flight delays at New York’s three major airports. This seems to be a similar series of events as occurred earlier this year at several Chinese airports after UFO sightings. Most significantly, what happened over New York’s skies vindicates the October 13 prediction made four months earlier by a retired NORAD officer that extraterrestrial vehicles would begin appearing over major world cities as the first step in a process to prepare humanity for the truth that we are not alone.

On October 13, several dozen UFOs were sighted over New York City. The sightings began around midday and lasted until early evening. They were sighted by hundreds, and filmed by witnesses and television crews. Multiple videos of the UFOs have been broadcast. There was no official comment from government authorities over the source of the UFOs that maintained a steady position for hours on end. The FAA said nothing showed up on radar and it had no advance reports of balloons being launched in the area. The October 13 sighting would be like so many other unexplained UFO sightings over major cities, except for one notable exception. Stanley A. Fulham, a retired NORAD officer, actually predicted October 13 as the date that extraterrestrial visitors would appear as the initial step in a process to educate the world public that we are not alone. Astonishingly, his prediction was validated by the mass UFO sighting in New York, as well as in other major cities. Could the New York UFO sighting on October 13 be the first step in extraterrestrials indisputably revealing themselves to the world public as Fulham claims?
Fulham first made his prediction in a Youtube video posted on June 26, 2010. The prediction was elaborated upon in a Press Release that appeared on September 13:
Stanley A. Fulham, tentatively predicts October 13, 2010 as the date for a massive UFO display over the world’s principal cities. According to the author [Fulham], the aliens will neither land nor communicate on that date…
In an interview on his website, Fulham explains more about the October 13 date as the first in a series of steps to prepary humanity for overt extraterrestrial intervention in 2015:
The aliens’ UFO display on 13 October 2010 is a tentative date. The aliens function with their Free Will and Choice and may determine that the conditions on Earth are so bad with the earth changes and the world’s economic and financial collapse that their intervention at that critical time would collapse humanity in massive panic, fear and confusion. If so, it will only be a temporary postponement of their intervention because their UFO display is only the initial step in preparing people for their intervention, possibly in 2015, without creating massive fear and panic.
There has been a succession of past predictions concerning UFOs showing up on specific dates to demonstrate the reality of extraterrestrials visiting our world. One of the most prominent was an Australian psychic, Blossum Goodchild, who predicted October 14, 2008 as the date that UFOs would show up. Given the dismal track record of prior UFO predictions demonstrating the existence of extraterrestrial life, this writer like many others, did not get too excited by Fulham’s October 13 prediction. Furthermore, when it became clear that Fulham’s prediction derived in part from the alleged channeling of extraterrestrials he calls the “Transcendorsâ€, that made it even less appealing.
The spectacular October 13 sighting of up to several dozen UFOs over New York city, as well as independent UFOs sightings in San Francisco, Seattle, Orlando, Puerto Rico, and Malaysia is partial vindication for Fulham’s prediction. Though he pointed out that “the aliens will neither land nor communicate on that date,†the consequences of the mass UFO sightings are not what Fulham predicted in his Press Release. He said that the mass UFO sightings will “occur this year, in what will surely be one of the great dramas of our galaxy, the introduction of their alien civilizations and technologies to mankind. We are not alone, and our world will have changed forever.” However, what was sighted and filmed in New York was hardly indisputable proof of extraterrestrial life. The objects were distant lights that held a steady position for hours on end. This would rule out the idea that they were helium party balloons as claimed by students from one school in nearby Mt Vernon. The opinion of many observers was that the objects were not balloons, aircraft or stars, and were in fact UFOs of some kind. But that is a long way from saying that the UFOs were indisputable proof of extraterrestrial life.
Fulham’s prediction made clear that the October 13 sighting would be the first in a series culminating in an overt intervention by 2015. Perhaps, he was referring to the consequences of later UFO sightings in the series in his Press Release. More information about the series and his predicted extraterrestrial intervention by 2015 is found iin his book, Challenges of Change, and on his website. So we are likely to have more predictions from Fulham in the months and years ahead about mass UFO sightings he claims will culminate in an overt extraterrestrial intervention by 2015. At the very least, Fulham has gotten the attention of many who did not give much thought to his October 13 prediction. We will certainly pay closer attention the next time he predicts UFOs appearing in a process that indisputably demonstrates the existence of extraterrestrial life.
Toronto – The CBC (the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation) Canada’s national public broadcasting television network has taken the first steps to engage the national security implications of American nuclear missiles being shut-down by so-called UFOs.
Highly disquieting news about nuclear missile shut-downs was aired by CBC’s CONNECT hosted by Mark Kelley on Tuesday September 28, 2010 on CBC TV Newsworldduring an interview with US Air Force Capt. Robert Salas (Ret.) following Salas’ news conference held on Sept 27, 2010 at the National Press Club in Washington DC.
Both, at the Washington press conference, and with CBC’s Mark Kelley, Capt. Salas stated that incidents of US nuclear missiles being shut-down by UFOs (rendered to a ‘no-go’ status) have occurred at a number of nuclear installations in the United States.
Despite the US Air Force’s unrelenting position that UFOs do not pose a national security threat to the US, Salas – in deference to the Air Force position, indicated that the unauthorized shut-down of any nuclear weapon by unknown forces was in fact a national security issue.
Salas and researcher Robert Hastings assembled 7 US officers who provided public testimony about their direct experiences with missile shut-downs as well as ‘visits’ by craft of unknown origin at a nuclear base in the UK (Rendlesham).
Mark Kelley also interviewed acclaimed Canadian radio commentator Richard Syrettof Radio AM 740 who hosts his own radio program on the matter of UFOs. Syrett indicated that this story and the wider issue of UFOs is the biggest story in human history – and – it’s being ignored by mainstream media.
NORAD and USAF Inquiries by  ZlandCommunications
In an attempt to obtain further clarity from defence officials on this potentially volatile situation, ZlandCommunications contacted NORAD (the North American Aerospace Defense Command).
NORAD Media Relations Naval officer Lt. Desmond James indicated that they were aware of the press conference, however because this was an American asset issue, he pointed ZlandCommunications to the United States Air Force web site www.af.mil to obtain, which turned out to be, a simple and generic statement about UFOs on its Fact Sheet – Project Blue Book.
In further conversation with another American NORAD Public Affairs representative, he indicated NORAD has “no public comment on this matterâ€.
When contacted by ZlandCommunications, Vicky Stein of the US Air Force Public Affairs Office stated there is no comment on this matter beyond the US Air Force FACT SHEET on its web site.
This fact sheet – available at the Air Force web site – quotes the generally considered flawed and out-dated study at the University of Colorado from 1968 entitled, “Scientific Study of Unidentified Flying Objects” as the American Air Force’s sole, governmental and military explanation for nuclear missile shut-downs in the modern era.
When asked by ZlandCommunications if this non-referenced and clearly out-dated explanation on UFO incursions on nuclear weapons sites was all the authoritative and powerful United States Air Force had on this matter their response was, “Yesâ€.

[Breaking News] The Washington Post has begun publishing the results of a two year investigation into the world of Top Secret programs in the U.S. Titled: Top Secret America, the investigation aims to expose the waste, redundancy and lack of oversight of many of the Top Secret programs created in response to the 911 attacks. More specifically, it states: “The top-secret world the government created in response to the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, has become so large, so unwieldy and so secretive that no one knows how much money it costs, how many people it employs, how many programs exist within it or exactly how many agencies do the same work.†One of the findings of the report is that the military chain of command is routinely undermined as personnel are ordered not to reveal their activities to their commanding officers. This supports the claims of whistleblowers who have come forward to reveal cases of military personnel being ordered not to tell commanders about Top Secret programs to which they had been recruited. The programs in question concerned UFO technology and extraterrestrial life, and commanding officers denied access included senior admirals and generals.
X-Conference organizer and Paradigm Research Group (PRG) executive director Stephen Bassett has announced that he will leave June 22 for a 35-day speaking tour of Australia to include twelve stops in eleven cities. The principal sponsor of the tour is the Nexus Conference, produced by Nexus Magazine on July 24-26.
According to a June 1 press release issued by PRG, “advocacy for a political resolution to the UFO/ET issue, which began to coalesce in the United States in the mid 1990’s, has now become an international ‘Disclosure Movement’ seeking to end an official embargo of the truth regarding an extraterrestrial presence engaging the human race.â€
In 2006, Australia joined the list of countries that have been releasing government-held UFO files into the public domain. That list now includes France, Britain, Denmark and Canada.
Paradigm Research Group was founded in 1996 exclusively for the purpose of ending what Bassett calls the UFO “truth embargo,†and was the first organization to register with the United States Congress to lobby on behalf of the UFO/ET disclosure movement. PRG’s political action committee, X-PPAC, is the first PAC to address the UFO/ET issue.
In 2004, PRG produced the first X-Conference centered on what is known as “exopolitics,†the politics surrounding the UFO/ET phenomenon. The sixth X-Conference was held May 7-9, 2010 at the National Press Club in Washington, DC. A democratically elected government´s mandate to serve those who elect it is never well served when its political leadership believes it has the constitutional right to guard national security secrets by deceiving its people.
In making available 9500 files on its web site entitled Canada´s UFOs – Search for the Unknown, the Canadian government has opened an international controversy on unidentified flying objects.
This controversy is fueled by the clear admission that Canadian officials in the Ministry of National Defense regularly discussed tactics and policies on how to ´play-down´ the UFO phenomenon as far back as 1950. It is even more instructive that Canada, in 2005 and 2007, chose to resurrect these controversial policy letters and hide them among thousands of mundane UFO sighting reports.
By hiding these files in plain sight, did the Canadian government attempt to deceive its citizens by proving it can be a master of misdirection, or was it a simple case of bureaucratic pragmatism? Regardless, these measures and the letters themselves have created a serious credibility problem for the Canadian government.
The first part of the problem: Because the recent release of UFO files were discharged with no notification, consultation or publicity, few have paid any attention to the hidden gems in the avalanche of data at Library and Archives Canada that depict direct government involvement in the UFO matter.
The second part of the problem: There now remains no doubt that Canadian government officials in the Department of National Defense indeed engaged the UFO issue in a serious manner.
It will be shown beyond any doubt that a series of internal memoranda reveals how the government intended to deceive the electorate by hiding, in plain sight, explosive official correspondence in a quagmire of endlessly staid UFO reports and pointless bureaucratic correspondence.
Canada can no longer deny and must now acknowledge it has a deep and long history of involvement in UFOs. As demonstrated by the total absence of media coverage or public consultation – Canadian officials were quite successful in concealing its UFO involvement.
No one, outside of a handful of UFO research experts, was aware that Canada had even set up the archived UFO data base. Released initially in August 2005, then more files in December 2007 – no international, national or local announcement, notification or press coverage accompanied Canada´s mass data-dump of UFO information.
Significant portions of this data clearly implicate Canadian officials in the use of American tactics to minimize and ´play-down´ the UFO matter. Is this why the Canadian government´s release of 9500 UFO files was such a quiet affair? The answer may lie in how the sheer massive size of the release itself appears to have been carefully designed to obscure government involvement in the UFO matter.
UFO FILES – QUIET AFFAIRS AND STICK BUGS
Sensitive government letters written by elected and non-elected government officials have been cleverly concealed among thousands and thousands of pages of innocuous UFO sighting reports on a government sponsored web site. The results: explosive security memoranda that, if exposed by mainstream media, could end the UFO truth embargo tomorrow, now go virtually unnoticed.
What possible rationale would precipitate such a decision?
If you were a government bureaucrat who knew that a very large number of UFO files containing sensitive information had to be released, you may perhaps surmise it would be effective if not necessarily wise to camouflage sensitive government documents among thousands of monotonous and tedious UFO sighting reports by citizens.
You might also develop a baffling search engine that would frustrate and otherwise discourage any real examination by even the most patient researcher. You would then have a seemingly transparent mechanism that is actually designed to conceal incriminating letters and memos, in plain sight, rather than openly depict in great detail government complicity in ´playing-down´ UFOs or portray the issue as anything serious or worthy of broad public or political debate.
The psychology of misdirection does not stop there. If the files had to be released what better way would there be than to disguise sensitive letters in the same way a stick-bug sits in plain sight yet remains concealed on a piece of bark or in the midst of rotting leaves – unnoticed by its predators.
The rationale: The next best alternative to invisibility is hiding something where it becomes indistinguishable from its background.
Prosaic, ramblings and often illegible letters about odd lights in the sky submitted by well-meaning but hapless citizens become the facade. A clever and very shrewd formula for a perfect disguise.
One cannot see more clearly by looking harder in the wrong direction.
Unless one is in fierce pursuit of something very, very specific, the average person is quickly discouraged from investigating more deeply, choosing rather to mouse-click away to glance over e-mail, check their personal financial portfolio or seek out who Britney Spears is now dating.
THE CONCEALED BECOMES REVEALED
To anyone who may be dedicated to a genuine investigation by researching the material pages of the 9500 so-called UFO files at Library and Archives Canada, the concealed soon becomes revealed. What might a moderately thorough search of approximately six thousand files by a keen investigator over a four month period yield?
Several indisputable realities surface:
Evidential elements of verifiable and calculated government cover-up activities merge seamlessly with endless, repetitive and monotonous UFO reports by citizens. One damaging letter certifies that Canadian officials discussed tactics to play-down the UFO issue in tandem with the United States Air Force.
To the unsuspecting casual observer or a cautiously sceptical journalist, these charming sample-indictments of government duplicity go unnoticed.
After literally plowing through the interminable pages of the Library and Archives Canada web site for weeks on end, the answer obviously does not lie in the actual UFO reports themselves but in how the Canadian government chose to quietly release these files and in how the critical substance of the communications among senior Department of National Defense officials were cleverly buried.
One UFO research observer stated, “After an exhaustive study, our evaluation reveals that official policy memoranda and letters on UFOs actually exist. These letters were written by high level officials within the Canadian Department of National Defense. They not only illustrate how officials attempted to minimize the immense frequency and ubiquitous nature of UFO sightings in Canada but these correspondence also clearly demonstrate how the Department of National Defense orchestrated intra-departmental tactics and policy designed specifically to ´play-down´ the UFO phenomenon. “
By hiding these important files in the way they did – the government made a high-quality mistake – if there is such a thing as a ´first rate´ mistake.”
THE LETTERS
1. Canadian Officials Develop Policy Similar to The United States Air Force to “Play-Down” Reports of UFOs Canadian Joint Intelligence Committee Memorandum – G.S. Austin, Director of Air Intelligence August 4, 1950.
“The present USAF policy is to play down the subject, investigating only when considered necessary by the area commander without any special arrangements for reporting or investigation. It seems that a similar policy on our part would be wise and that it would be undesirable to produce a special questionnaire or make any arrangements for investigation since this would tend to give publicity to the matter. It is suggested therefore that sighting reports should not be solicited…”
2. A letter from the Minister of National Defense in contrast indicates Ministers of National Defense sent contradictory letters to inquisitive Canadian citizens informing them that no department within the government had instructions or a desire to withhold information about objects that may be of extraterrestrial origin despite the fact the files were designated “restricted” or “secret” since the 1950s and, that Canadian policy was to “play-down” UFO reports.
One ministerial letter states; “I can assure you that there is no department of the government that desires or has instructions to withhold information on objects that might be of extraterrestrial origin.” Minister of National Defense Douglas Harkness March 1962.
Clearly this statement of policy by a Minister of Defense is inconsistent with, and contradicts the practice of suppressing publicity on UFOs as suggested by the Director of Air Intelligence.
3. Official Plan – In The Event of a UFO Landing. No other letter, yet uncovered, more pointedly indicts the Canadian government as does the suggestion made by a sitting Director of Scientific Intelligence concerning the development of a plan in the event of a UFO landing on Canadian soil. He states to the Director of Air Intelligence, “You might also consider it advisable to add that should the Flying Saucer actually make a landing on Canadian territory, the nearest RCAF Command should be advised immediately by telegram… Maybe we had better talk over this when you have thought it over.” A.J.G. Langley, Defense Research Board Director of Scientific Intelligence – April 19, 1950. 3.
PRESIDENTIAL IMPLICATIONS
It is important to affirm that when taken in a larger international context, the release of the Canadian files provides an interesting backdrop to the more recent Clinton White House UFO/ET letters uncovered by the relentless Canadian researcher Grant Cameron and renowned Washington-based political activist Stephen G. Bassett, Director of the Paradigm Research Group (PRG).
These letters from within the White House Administration during the William Clinton years as President illustrate the UFO/ET matter was of paramount concern by a sitting President and his staff.
Known commonly as the Rockefeller Initiative, these letters and communications exposed by Bassett and Cameron indicate the UFO issue was pursued vigourously from 1993 to 1996 by Laurance S. Rockefeller in concert with his attorney Henry L. Diamond and a myriad of players within the Clinton Administration including Ms. Hillary Clinton, now Secretary of State.
The Rockefeller Initiative letters which number between 50 and 55, trace a most remarkable trail of exhortations and recommendations by respected international philanthropist Laurance S. Rockefeller that the UFO – Extraterrestrial issue be removed from the vaults of government secrecy and dealt with in the open court of public discourse.
Involved in this dialogue to have President Clinton publicly examine the UFO/ET issue were high-level dignitaries Jack Gibbons Science Advisor to the President, Senator Pell Claiborne, and Representative Stephen Schiff to name but a few.
These provocative letters are matched only by the brazen assertion by former Clinton White House Chief of Staff John Podesta in October 2002 at the National Press Club in Washington DC. There, Podesta stated about the UFO issue, “It is time for the government to declassify records that are more than 25 years old and to provide scientists with data that will assist in determining the real nature of this phenomenon.”
Is it less than coincidence that John Podesta was appointed Co-Chair of the White House post-election Transition Team by none other than President Barack Obama?
To this observer such levels of evidence proves – unequivocally – that anyone with even a minor  ‘need to know’ security status, knew the reality of UFOs was a given. Who knows more and why do they not come forward?
CONCLUSIONS
The complex and demanding nuances of this issue´s authenticity continue to perplex and be ignored by the world-wide media.
Media gravitation to North Korea´s insane nuclear muscle flexing or the constant drama surrounding the straight-jacket of the global economic crisis appear to render impotent the acuity of mainstream media to grasp or much less engage the larger issue of inter-stellar visitation by off-world civilizations millions of years in advance of the ant hill Earth.
Despite the less than fluid undertow of the media´s obsession with militarism and its incessant fixation on the global economic down-turn, the movement towards Disclosure of the UFO/ET reality will steadily accelerate.
The recognition that governments have concealed and repressed open discourse on this matter is now a matter of record and is receiving unprecedented acknowledgement by more and more mainstream press.
The acknowledged prospect of newly established relationships with or diplomatic overtures to off-world civilizations willing to positively engage the human race would re-focus humanity´s gaze. To reject or suppress the portent of such a possibility is the height of human hubris that denies the expansive capacity of our species to look beyond who we are, towards what we can become.
Those in Exopolitics advancing the notion of openness with interstellar visitors who are obviously making their presence known will soon no longer be the voice of a minority but a powerful geo-political force of serious reckoning.
Exopolitics asks the hard questions: who are these entities, where are they from, why are they here, shall we look at the evidence? Or, more importantly, can dreadfully powerful and treacherously dominant geo-political forces be exposed so they can no longer dictate the precondition that the existence of off-world civilizations shall be denied and repressed?
If these kinds of questions are never addressed or their potential ever pondered, no solutions to our cloistered existence or imminent environmental demise are forth-coming. The avoidance of these very fundamental questions acutely restrains humanity´s evolution and its capacity to recognize we are being visited at a time of immense social, scientific, environmental, cultural, religious, economic and political turmoil globally.
If it is not hyperbole to assert that every component of our civilization´s matrix of existence is under relentless if not hysterical stress, then why is it considered an exaggeration or folly to acknowledge that we are indeed being visited by off-world civilizations that just may have overcome their own primitive extinction behaviours and who may be able to offer humanity some solutions?
Solutions of our own often seem to appear on the horizon but are soon summarily undermined by powerful geo-political forces seeking to maintain the power structures of a permanent war economy, endless cycles of ethnic violence, a monetary system that serves corporate interests and energy industrialists who cram oil down the throats of everything that moves.
Consider for a moment the simplest yet obvious solution to Earth´s fossil fuel addiction. The energy and propulsion systems used by these off-world civilizations to power their craft over light-years in space, could in very short order, eliminate our oil-based dependency.
Engagement with these off-world civilizations could well be the quantum knowledge-leap needed so desperately by our shackled humanity. Again John Podesta Former Clinton White House Chief of Staff – “I think it’s time to open the books on questions that have remained in the dark on the question of government investigations of UFOs. We ought to do it because the American people quite frankly can handle the truth, and we ought to do it because it’s the law.”
Sceptics and investigative journalists need no longer demand scientific proof of an Extraterrestrial presence. They need only look at released government files to know their democratic juggernauts in politics and military and intell-agencies have been playing a manipulative and clever shell game of hide and seek with the UFO/ET issue for 60 years.
Peculiarly – mainstream investigative journalism still appears reluctant to take on the big boys or to take notice of the obvious – all hidden in plain sight.

ZNN – Renowned astronomer and astrophysicist Dr. Carl Sagan revealed to Dr. J. Allen Hynek that he believed UFOs were real but avoided any public statements to prevent the loss of academic research funding. Sagan’s once powerful influence on mainstream science to play-down the reality of UFOs is now in question.
“My recollection is that Hynek said it was backstage of one of the many Johnny Carson Tonight shows Sagan did. He basically said [to Hynek] in 1984, “I know UFOs are real, but I would not risk my research [College] funding, as you do, to talk openly about them in public.”
This startling revelation about Carl Sagan, one of this century’s most esteemed scientists and writers, has now been made public by Paola Leopizzi-Harris, a former associate of Dr. Allen J. Hynek who worked with him from 1980 to 1985.
Dr. J. Allen Hynek served as a civilian scientific consultant to the U.S. Air Force Project Blue Book from 1952 to1969, initially taking a very critical and skeptical position on anything related to the reality of UFOs. In one of his own reports he stated:
“I had started out as an outright ‘debunker,’ taking great joy in cracking what seemed at first to be puzzling cases. I was the arch-enemy of those ‘flying saucer groups and enthusiasts’ who very dearly wanted UFOs to be interplanetary.” Hynek, J. Allen. “The Hynek UFO Report”. Dell Publishing Co. 1977
After leaving Project Blue Book – the U.S. Air Force’s pseudo-investigatory public relations scheme on UFOs, Hynek later wrote:
“Now, however, documentation which puts the UFO- U.S. government controversy in quite a new light has become available. The [UFO] authors have made revealing use of documents released through the mechanism of the Freedom of Information Act and other data which have been made available to them” which show that the CIA and NSA protestations of innocence and lack of interest in UFOs are nothing short of prevarication.”
Hynek went on to say: “For the government to continue to maintain that UFOs are nonexistent in the face of the documents already released and of other cogent evidence presented in this book is puerile and in a sense an insult to the American people.”“The UFO Cover-Up.” (Fireside books, Simon & Schuster 1984)
Hynek’s credentials are indeed impressive, having consulted on the Stephen Spielberg movie Close Encounters. As well he presented a paper on UFOs at the UN in 1978. (All Experts)
Sagan’s link to UFOs and possibly to Dr. Hynek occurred in 1966 when Sagan was a member of the Ad Hoc Committee to Review Project Blue Book. This committee concluded that the U.S. Air Force’s Project Blue Book had been lacking as a scientific study, and recommended a university-based project to give the UFO phenomenon closer scientific scrutiny.
In scientific circles much of Sagan’s notoriety came from debates conducted under the auspices of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS). In 1969 he challenged J. Allen Hynek on whether investigations of unidentified flying objects should be considered serious. Hynek argued yes Sagan no. (NNDB)
Sagan was a prolific writer of some 20 books including “Contact“ eventually made into a movie staring Jodie Foster. Sagan also hosted the brilliantly crafted and highly popular series COSMOS: A Personal Voyage. In Episode 12: “Encyclopedia Galactica”, Sagan explored UFOs and alien abductions while also including “refutations” on UFOs.
“As I understand what the committee would like from me, is a discussion of the likelihood of intelligent extraterrestrial life… clearly it is the hypothesis that unidentified objects are of extraterrestrial origin which the committee must have in mind. I’m delighted to tell about contemporary scientific thinking along these lines, but let me begin by saying that I do not think the evidence is at all persuasive, that UFO’s are of intelligent extraterrestrial origin…”
Sagan’s confidential conversation with Dr. Hynek in 1984 appears to not only contradict this statement to the House Committee in 1968, Sagan’s new found view – that UFOs were real – clearly did not play any role in Sagan’s later highly successful public work.
This revelation by Paola Leopizzi-Harris appears to raise serious scientific discrepancies concerning Sagan’s public verses private beliefs about the nature of UFOs and Extraterrestrial life.
It appears, therefore that Carl Sagan presumably embarked upon his many television appearances, consulting on major television and Hollywood feature productions as well as his own academic writing while professing one public scientific point of view, yet maintaining a significantly contradictory personal belie: “I know UFOs are real” – as told to Dr. J. Allen Hynek in 1984 according to Paola Leopizzi-Harris.
In later years Sagan also heavily promoted SETI – the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence, which discounts UFOs as an ET reality – advancing the theory that listening for signals from deep space may help locate intelligent ET civilizations. [Ed.note – SETI officials were contacted by ZlandCommunications for a comment on this matter – however at the time of publication no response had yet been received.]
It is unknown how long Sagan held this personal view or when and what changed his mind – future disclosures may reveal this. That Sagan presented much of his finest and most popular work outside the context of his personal belief that UFOs were real remains a salient incongruity for a man of Sagan’s stature, obvious integrity and celebratory contributions to humanity and science.
One can only speculate upon why, during the period between Sagan’s initial statement in 1968 and all during his now legendary writings and media productions, Sagan continued to espouse critical views on the reality of UFOs. Why did his views change so dramatically? Did funding issues alone motivate him not to come forward publicly to declare his change-of-mind?
This revelation made to Paola Leopizzi-Harris by a well-respected scientific figure like Dr. J. Allen Hynek alters if not the magnificent quality of Sagan’s work but re-constructs his considerable scientific influence on the mainstream scientific theories about the universe, the intelligent nature of UFOs and Extraterrestrial life.
How will mainstream science respond knowing now that a corner stone of modern science and one of its most revered members is now recognized as to have conceded – UFOs are real?
Two conclusions emerge –
One of the 20th Century’s most renowned space gurus and scientific leaders, appears to have inadvertently shattered the prevailing notion among the scientific community and the so-called experts, that UFOs are fictitious and that issue is does not merit further study.
The second conclusion – short of full disclosure by government of the UFO/ET reality, this revelation most assuredly represents the most serious damage yet to the wall of secrecy and the truth embargo surrounding the Extraterrestrial presence so ardently maintained by government officials and bolstered by mainstream science.
Notably this information also comes at a time when Paul Hellyer, former Canadian Minister of National Defence has publicly admonished another pillar of mainstream science, Professor Stephen Hawking, for contributing to misinformation about advanced Extraterrestrial civilizations. Hellyer’s admonishment is timely. It puts all scientists on notice that ponderous changes to their entrenched belief about the universe and Extraterrestrial life are about to occur.
The Sagan story also arrives on the eve of the X-Conference 2010, the largest annual American UFO/ET Disclosure event coordinated by Stephen G. Bassett Director of PRG – the Paradigm Research Group at the National Press Club in Washington DC, just down the street from the White House and a President that recognizes the need for grave global change.
When asked to comment PRG Director Stephen G. Bassett said, “Carl Sagan and J. Allen Hynek perfectly represent the intellectual and political dilemma faced by the human race during the second half of the 20th century. Both helped to radically change our view of the world. Yet one must be profoundly wrong on the most important historical event in human history.”
Ironically, a cloistered conversation between two academicians behind the curtain – backstage on the set of the Johnny Carson Show in 1984 – seems to have changed science and with it, the paradigm beliefs of an entire planet. We are not alone.
