New Civilian Photos of Britain’s Rendlesham Forest UFO Incident Show a Flying Orb

Article by Emma Parry                                               May 5, 2021                                               (thesun.co.uk)

• By now, almost everyone has heard of the Rendlesham Forest UFO incident in Suffolk, England in late December 1980. Two USAF airmen, Staff Sgt Jim Penniston and Airman John Burroughs, stationed at the twin NATO bases RAF Woodbridge and RAF Bentwaters nearby, saw strange lights and got close enough to a mysterious triangular UFO craft that they could touch it. Colonel Charles Halt then led a military team into the forest to investigate the sightings. Halt and his team also saw strange lights and a red orb with a black center “winking” back at them, and claimed a UFO fired a beam of light near their feet.

• Now, a local resident has come forward claiming that he was poaching animals in the Rendlesham Forest in December of 1980, and saw Colonel Halt and his men in the woods. “Now bear this in mind,” says the poacher, “before this encounter I saw and heard a lot of strange things in that forest. I could tell you stories that would bend your bones, so every time I went poaching, I always took my camera always hoping to capture some evidence.”

• On this night, he got his black and white photos. “I saw a basketball sized red orb. It had a black center like a pupil and looked just like an eye winking at you, just like Halt explained it. It was zig zagging between the trees, strange. Freaked me out, weird… I saw it before Halt. It passed me first. Halt and his team were about 200 meters away, I could hear all the noise. Later I saw another UFO – it was firing beams of light down to the ground, definitely looking for something, God knows what.”

• The poacher submitted his photos and story anonymously through the UFO Casebook website, which collects information about UFO sightings from around the world. “I’ve sat on this information for over 40 years and it feels good to get it out and show the truth,” said the anonymous poacher. “I tell you, what I witnessed was simply incredible, definitely extra-terrestrial. No two ways about it.” “After this thing happened, I was followed for weeks, I had my phone tapped – scary time.” “You can read books and watch TV shows about it, but I’m telling you, you had to be there to really understand and appreciate just how incredible this thing was, changed my life forever.”

• British UFO sleuth Philip Mantle, a former director of investigations for the British UFO Research Association, questions the digital format of the proffered photos. “With today’s digital technology I have become very wary of any alleged UFO photographs, even more so when the photographer is anonymous as he is here with these pictures. Before I could come to any conclusions, I would have to know a lot more detail about the type of camera, the film, the exposure and so on,” said Mantle. “Remember, if these photos are authentic and taken in 1980, they would be on film and not digital.”

• There have been various theories to explain the Rendlesham incident including a lighthouse, a Russian satellite re-entry, and a stolen truck of manure set on fire. Brit researcher Nick Redfern put forward an explanation tying the sighting to scientists from the UK’s top-secret laboratory, Porton Down in Wiltshire, that carried out mind control experiments. He claims that soldiers from the base were tripping on LSD while the scientists set up advanced holograms to create images of UFOs.

THESE spooky black and white photos allegedly show the UFO at the centre of

Britain’s biggest ever case for the first time.

They were supposedly taken in Rendlesham Forest in Suffolk by a poacher who claims he saw the same UFO being hunted by a military team from a nearby US airbase.

The alleged witness claims he was 200ft away from Colonel Charles Halt, deputy base commander of RAF Bentwaters, and his men, when he spotted the

glowing orb – in an unsolved case often dubbed the British Roswell after the infamous US UFO crash.

                            poacher photo

He said: “When I was younger, I was a poacher. I lived very close to Rendlesham Forest and frequently went poaching there. So back in 1980, 28 December, I was in the forest poaching.

“Now bear this in mind, before this encounter I saw and heard a lot of strange things in that forest. I could tell you stories that would bend your bones, so every time I went poaching, I always took my camera always hoping to capture some evidence.”

                         poacher photo

The case involved military witnesses from the twin NATO bases RAF Woodbridge and

    Jim Penniston and John Burroughs

RAF Bentwaters in Suffolk who saw strange lights in late December 1980.

Two airmen, Staff Sgt Jim Penniston and Airman John Burroughs, claim they got so close to a triangular craft they actually touched it.

Colonel Halt then led a military team into the forest to investigate the sightings.

They also saw strange lights and a red orb with a black centre “winking” back at them and claimed a UFO fired a beam of light near their feet.

Halt later wrote a memo to the MOD describing the freakish incident but it was filed away by defence chiefs.

The poacher said: “I saw a basketball sized red orb, it had a black centre like a pupil

and looked just like an eye winking at you, just like Halt explained it.

“It was zig zagging between the trees, strange, freaked me out, weird, proper not right, I saw it before Halt.

“It passed me first. Halt and his team were about 200 meters away, I could hear all the noise. Later I saw another UFO – it was firing beams of light down to the ground, definitely looking for something, God knows what.

“I tell you, what I witnessed was simply incredible, definitely extra-terrestrial. No two ways about it.

“You can read books and watch TV shows about it, but I’m telling you, you had to be there to really understand and appreciate just how incredible this thing was, changed my life forever.

“After this thing happened, I was followed for weeks, I had my phone tapped – scary time.”

UFO Beamed Nick Pope’s Car Into Air on Florida Holiday

Article by Charles Wade-Palmer                                      April 18, 2021                                     (dailystar.co.uk)

• In a book by the former Ministry of Defence (MoD) X-Files employee from the 1990’s, Nick Pope, entitled The Uninvited, Pope relates the story of Peter and his girlfriend Jenny who were driving along a toll-road in South Florida when their car was slowly pulled off the road and 100 feet into the air above a clearing of trees. Peter unbuckled his seatbelt and stepped out of the car ‘into thin air’ before finding himself in a cramped metallic corridor. Then Peter found himself walking back in ‘mid-air’ into his car where Jenny was still sitting there motionless.

• Once back in the car, suspended in mid-air, the car began spinning down until it reached the ground. Now Peter found them driving down a different highway outside of Boca Raton. Peter estimated that the whole ordeal lasted less than half an hour. Later he determined that it was actually an hour and a half.

• UK ufology investigator Philip Mantle claims this alien encounter that Pope reports in his book was in fact experienced by the author himself. Another ufologist by the name of Chris Fowler claims that Pope “told us all that a few years ago, before he got the job at Air Staff 2A (MoD), he was on holiday with his girlfriend at the time in Florida and had what he described as a ‘missing road’ experience.” “Nick came out with something that I found pretty weird,” said Fowler. “[A]t least coming from him that is.”

• According to Mantle’s investigation, “Pope claimed that when he joined Air Staff (2A) in the summer of 1991 that he had no knowledge or interest in UFOs and it was only because of the UFO investigations that he carried out on behalf of the MoD that turned him into a believer. Well, I provided a document from the MoD in 1988 when he was working at Portsmouth that he had already dealt with a UFO enquiry there.”

• The UFO researchers believe Peter was in fact Nick Pope, with the significance being he had a keener interest in extraterrestrial life forms than he let on at the Ministry of Defence. “In January 1991, before he moved to the so-called ‘UFO DESK’ he had already had his own close encounter in Florida. …[Pope] now denies that any such encounter happened (to him).” “[W]e have also provided documents to show that while serving at Air Staff (2A), he was a D-grade clerk and never investigated anything.”

Nick Pope at the MoD’s ‘UFO Desk’ in 1990s

Ex-MoD worker Nick Pope is alleged to have been abducted on a toll road where he experienced “lost time”.

Ufologist Philip Mantle claims a chilling alien encounter Nick reports in his book The Uninvited was in fact experienced by the author himself.

According to Nick, a man named Peter was driving in Florida, US, with his girlfriend Jenny when their car was slowly pulled off the road into a clearing of trees about 100 feet off the ground.

With the trees lit up, Peter claimed he removed his seatbelt and stepped out of the vehicle into thin air before finding himself in a cramped metallic corridor.

Peter recalls eventually finding himself walking back in mid-air into his car where Jenny was still sitting there motionless.

                Philip Mantle

Once back in the car, it began spinning until it reached the ground but on a highway outside of Boca Raton rather than the toll road they were driving on.

Bizarrely Peter believed the whole ordeal lasted less than half an hour, only to learn it had been another hour on top of that.

A collective of researchers believe Peter was in fact Nick Pope, with the significance being he had a keener interest in extra terrestrial life forms than he let on at the Ministry of Defence.

Philip Mantle said: “Pope claimed that when he joined Air Staff (2A) in the summer of 1991 that he had no knowledge or interest in UFOs and it was only because of the UFO investigations that he carried out on behalf of the MoD that turned him into a believer.

UFO Report Could Show Aliens are Visiting Earth in Peace

Article by Berny Torre                                          April 1, 2021                                        (dailystar.co.uk)

• US military intelligence is due to provide the Senate Select Intelligence Committee (SSIC) with its requested UFO report by June 24th. But mystery surrounds why the SSIC asked Mr. Trump to sign off on the report so urgently before he was replaced by the Biden administration. “Reading between the lines, it’s seemingly apparent that classified information collected by the US government has backed up many of the claims of UFO reports, that something truly anomalous is going on,” said UFO investigative reporter and founder of the news site The Debrief, Tim McMillan.

• “At most, I’d expect it to provide a broad overview in saying there are a certain number of instances in which airborne objects exhibiting extraordinary capabilities are reported or captured on government sensors. Government is very slow moving and highly bureaucratic,” said McMillan. “You could place crystal clear satellite imagery of a classic ‘flying saucer’ in front of them, and they’ll essentially just dismiss it because that’s not supposed to be real.

• British UFO investigator Philip Mantle doubts that the SSIC report would “reveal all about alien visitations to Earth.” “The major governments around the world are as baffled and as puzzled as we civilian UFO researchers are.”

• The UFO report could reveal ‘super-smart’ aliens are visiting us in peace, said Professor Daniel Drezner, an international politics expert at Tufts University. “Does this evidence point toward the prospect of extraterrestrial observation of our planet? If so, how should we feel about that?” Drezner noted that if a Harvard astrophysicist is suggesting the presence of extraterrestrial craft in our solar system, “perhaps we need at least to consider the possibility that these (UFOs/UAPs) might also be extraterrestrial in origin.”

• Top scientists such as the late Stephen Hawking warned against contacting aliens and the potential catastrophic consequences for humans on Earth. But Drezner says that “it might be better for US national security if these UAPs turn out to be ETs” than if they belonged to Russia or China. “The assumption is that powerful, technologically advanced civilizations will act in a destructive manner. …[B]ut perhaps civilizations that reward destructive (behavior) are less likely to generate the technological wherewithal for interstellar travel.” “[M]aybe there is more hope for interstellar relations than either scientists or science fiction envision.”

The UFO report signed off by US president Donald Trump just before he was replaced by Joe Biden could reveal super-smart

                         Tim McMillan

aliens are visiting us in peace, an expert has claimed.

Professor Daniel Drezner said so days after the US former director of national intelligence John Ratcliffe revealed the Pentagon files included declassified intelligence of aircraft “that exceed the sound barrier without a sonic boom”.

                       Daniel Drezner

The international politics expert at Tufts University on Thursday wrote in the Washington Post: “Does this evidence point toward the prospect of extraterrestrial observation of our planet? If so, how should we feel about that?

“I am not going to speculate on the first question beyond noting that if Harvard

                         Philip Mantle

astrophysicists are making that suggestion about interstellar phenomena, perhaps we need at least to consider the possibility that these UAPs (Unidentified Aerial Phenomena) might also be extraterrestrial in origin.”

He said top scientists including the late professor Stephen Hawking have warned against contacting aliens or of catastrophic consequences for humans if they arrived on Earth.

But said “it might be better for U.S. national security if these UAPs turn out to be ETs” than if they belonged to Russia or China.

He added: “I get the concern from physicists that technologically advanced extraterrestrials might behave as powerful human civilizations have in the past.

“The assumption is that powerful, technologically advanced civilizations will act in a destructive manner.

Former Ministry of Defence Official Says UK Gov is Secretly Investigating UFOs

Article by Cameron Frewon                                          March 24, 2021                                  (unilad.co.uk)

• To mark UFO Week on BLAZE tv, former Ministry of Defence official Nick Pope was interviewed by British media company UNILAD. For three years during the 1990s, Pope held a position within the MoD’s ‘UFO program’. The program ended in 2009. But Pope says that he has it on good authority that the British government is secretly ‘still looking at this’ UFO phenomenon. But Pope insists that he is not a ‘whistle blower’. “I take my security oath seriously,” says Pope. “The only reason I can talk about this is because the government has declassified and released a lot of my old case files.”

• In 2017, it was revealed that in 2012 the US military had budgeted $22 million for the ‘Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program’ (AATIP). In 2017, the US military allowed three grainy UFO videos to be publicly released. When asked how much UFO information the US military has shared with the UK government, Pope remains tight-lipped, wary of crossing a line beyond what’s permitted.

• Pope noted that military authorities stopped calling the phenomenon ‘UFOs’ and changed it to ‘UAPs’, or ‘unidentified aerial phenomenon’. Now they’re probably calling it something else says Pope. (Editor: Yes, ‘UAV’ or ‘unmanned aerial vehicle’) There’s also a suspicion that much of the UFO investigation has been relegated to the private sector in order to put it outside of the scope of the Freedom of Information Act.

• Today, the US Department of Defense admits to a UAP Task Force set up in the Office of Naval Intelligence, which is basically the AATIP under a different name. Pope says that the US government program has indeed shared some of their UFO findings with the other ‘Five Eyes’ nations: Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the UK. “So GCHQ (UK Government Communications Headquarters) probably got to see some of this stuff on secure servers and things.”

• A US Congressional Senate committee has asked the military for an unclassified UFO investigations report, which is due to come out around World UFO Day on July 2nd. But the public and the media may still only get a summary of the unclassified report, “where the good stuff is going to buried”, says Pope.

• Pope says that, “There is close military and intelligence… collaboration (between the US and the UK). There’s intelligence sharing across a range of issues. There’s joint exercises. … [T]here’s been UK participation in some of the testing of cutting-edge technologies. But when we get into UFOs, that’s still a bit of an unknown.”

• Philip Mantle, director of investigations for the British UFO Research Association, described the Pentagon’s UFO footage as a ‘turning point’, not just because of the videos themselves, but the legitimacy with which they were released. “What was interesting is what colleagues have been saying for years… that the US authorities are studying UFOs somewhere,” said mantle. “And of course, they were proven right. …You then ask, ‘if the Americans are doing it, then who else?’ The answer is we don’t know.”

• So what are these craft seen in the grainy US military ‘Gimbal’, ‘Go Fast’ and ‘Tic Tac’ UFO videos? “Some of these things are going to be secret, prototype aircraft missiles and drones,” Pope said. “I don’t rule out the extraterrestrial hypothesis. … [A]pparently, in these interim reports [from the UAP Taskforce], they’ve not ruled out the extraterrestrial hypothesis.’

• Whether more videos are released to the public in the wake of the impending Senate committee report, to say those three Pentagon clips are just the beginning would be an understatement. “They must surely have more than three videos. There’s been little hints dropped here and there, more will surface at one point,” Mantle said.

• Pope claims to know “many people who…knew there’d been hundreds of these sorts of (UFO) incidents over the years. That’s another misconception about this; we’ve seen these three videos, but that’s the tip of the iceberg.”

The UK government is secretly investigating UFO sightings, according to a former Ministry of Defence official.

                           Nick Pope

In 2017, America’s very own X-Files-esque team was revealed by The New York Times: up until 2012, $22 million in defence funding went to the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP). Three years later, amid leaks and speculation, the Pentagon officially released three declassified videos of UFOs – no aliens, but an emphasis on ‘unidentified’.

                        Philip Mantle

‘About time’, was the reaction of Nick Pope, a former UFO investigator for the UK’s Ministry of Defence (MoD). Out of his 21 years in government, three were dedicated to a fascinating post that no longer exists. Well, officially, that is.

                    ‘Gimbal’ UFO video

In an interview with UNILAD to mark UFO Week on BLAZE, Pope sat down with me to chat about his past experiences, investigations and thoughts on the earth-shattering Pentagon footage, as well as what to expect from the intelligence agencies’ report on aerial phenomena as part of the COVID-19 relief bill.

‘The irony is it could possibly come out on World UFO Day. They’ve asked for an unclassified report. If the media and public get any of this, that’s all they’ll get. Not

                   ‘Go Fast’ UFO video

even that, maybe just a summary of it. It can have a classified annex, and that’s where the good stuff is going to buried,’ he said.

‘There’s a debate whether AATIP is still in existence or if it’s running under a different name now that people know about it. What the Department of Defense (DoD) did admit is they have something called the UAP Taskforce, that’s set up in the Office of

                    ‘Tic Tac’ UFO video

Naval Intelligence,’ Pope said.

He added, ‘There was a leak… saying they’ve shared some of their interim findings with other Five Eyes nations [in the intelligence-sharing alliance made up of Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the UK and US], so GCHQ probably got to see some of this stuff on secure servers and things.’

The position Pope once held in the ‘UFO program’ was cut at the end of 2009. ‘But I have it on multiple well-placed sources that somebody, somewhere in government is still looking at this,’ he said.

Pope continued, ‘Definitely not calling it UFOs anymore, nor UAP now it’s out of the box – probably calling it something else. There are still question marks whether there’s active liaison between the UAP Taskforce and anyone in the MoD. There’s also a suspicion that you put it out into the private sector, to put it outside the scope of the Freedom of Information act. So that’s something else to throw into the mix.’

CIA Probed ‘Real’ Roswell Alien Autopsy Videos Claims Brit Investigator

Article by Jon Lockett                                     March 22, 2021                                       (thesun.co.uk)

• In the 1990’s, British entrepreneur Ray Santilli claims to have “restored” a version of an original video clip of an alien being’s autopsy allegedly conducted by the US military after it was retrieved from the Roswell UFO crash in 1947. Santilli said that he obtained the 1947 video from a retired US military cameraman. But since the film footage was in such poor condition, he embellished the original video with ‘reproductions’ of the medical room using animal organs and pig brains in a London flat, trying to be as true to the original as possible. Then Santilli sold the embellished footage to TV stations in 33 countries – before filmmaker and magician Spyros Melaris blew the whistle on him for peddling a fake autopsy video. Said Santilli, “What we did was a restoration of the original film. The film still maintain its integrity.”

• Author and UFO investigator Philip Mantle was among the first to see the bogus video that went on to fool millions around the world. On March 22nd he was featured in a TV expose’ on BLAZE pay television called “Alien Autopsy:The Search for Answers”. Mantle reveals a CIA document that made its way to the internet containing an email thread from the files of the late NASA astronaut Edgar Mitchell. The email thread shows that the CIA had studied ‘real’ footage of an alien being dissected over a decade before Santilli’s embellished autopsy video.

• Mitchell’s email thread was sent primarily to Robert Bigelow and the scientists at his ‘National Institute for Discovery Sciences’ or ‘NIDS’ in 2000 who were trying to track down and authenticate the Roswell alien autopsy video. Says Mantle, “There are a number of people linked to the thread but the main guy they are speaking to is a Dr. Christopher ‘Kit’ Green and he worked for the CIA many years back on what he called their weird desk. They are quizzing Dr. Green about his comments on the alien autopsy film and, apart from saying he thought it was authentic, it goes on to add that back in 1980 or 1981 at an official briefing at the Pentagon they showed him another alien autopsy film. “The photos of the alien cadaver Kit saw were consistent with the cadaver seen in the 1995 Santilli film/video.”

• According to the leaked CIA document, in January 2001 Dr. Green provided his professional evaluation of the footage. A summary of Dr. Green’s evaluation stated: “The Alien Autopsy film/video is real, the alien cadaver is real, and the cadaver seen in the film/video is the same as the photos Kit saw at the Pentagon briefing.”

• Does this prove that there were other Roswell alien autopsy clips being studied at least 10 years before the bogus film was made? As Mantle says, someone of Dr. Green’s experience and standing would not be fooled by a fake film. He was indeed shown other films, fake or real, by the CIA. Ray Santilli believes the fact that Dr. Green claims he saw the video before his was published only goes to prove his footage must be real.

• Sergeant Clifford Stone worked as a UFO crash retrieval expert with the U.S. Army in the 1960s. In an archive video, Stone tells how he once saw senior officers watching what he later learned were “genuine ” alien dissection videos.

• Mantle sums up his investigation by saying: “Something did crash at Roswell – even the authorities in the US admit that.” Investigator Ben Smith notes that a journal written by a US Army major who was first on the scene (Major Jesse A. Marcel) may hold the secrets to what has been described as the biggest cover up in US military history.

[Editor’s Note]  “Let me just be clear,” said Santilli, “I was not there in 1947, so I can’t say for sure if it is an alien, but it is the original camera footage.” “By the time we got back, (the film) had deteriorated to a certain extent and we were not able to use it and (we) recreated a fair section.” When the recreated footage was released, however, Mr Santilli and his team did not make it clear it was a remake of poor quality original footage, which Santilli still possesses. The recreation video was produced inside a north London flat. The “dead alien” was sculpted by motion picture special effects expert John Humphreys, using cow and lamb organs from a local butcher shop. The 1940’s-era surgeons’ outfits and medical equipment were supplied from prop providers in the UK and USA. The 16mm film was then spliced with an original Pathe newsreel to help convince experts from Kodak that it could be real.

According to Linda Moulton Howe and Richard Dolan, a Memorandum by Dr. Christopher “Kit” Green dated March 23, 2001, giving his “professional evaluation of the ‘Alien Autopsy Film/Video and other related information”, was leaked by physicist Eric W. Davis to Robert Bigelow and revealed that this 1995 Santilli video of an alien autopsy of a “6-fingered, 6-toed” alien entity is in fact real. The being was retrieved from a crashed saucer in Roswell, New Mexico in 1947. Dr. Green “was briefed three different times during and after his tenure at the CIA on topics relevant to UFOs and the Roswell Incident Alien Autopsy.” Dr. Kit Green confirmed that the “Alien Autopsy film/video is real, the alien cadaver is real, and the cadaver seen in the film/video is the same as the photos Kit saw at the Pentagon during briefing # 2.” Dr. Green’s career began in 1969 as a Senior Division Analyst for neurosciences at the CIA. In the mid-1970s, Dr. Green was a program manager for Controlled Remote Viewing research.

             Ray Santilli

AN INVESTIGATOR who spent a decade probing the infamous Roswell autopsy footage reveals leaked documents appear to show the CIA studied ‘REAL’ footage of aliens being dissected years earlier.

Author Philip Mantle, Britain’s most renowned UFO investigator, was among the first to see the bogus video which emerged in the mid 90s and went on to fool millions around the world.

He is now fronting a new TV expose called Alien Autopsy:The Search for Answers – airing on Blaze tonight – which sets out to separate the facts from fiction.

In it he looks into a bombshell email chain which reveals one CIA expert was duped by the 17-minute hoax video and also how US spooks apparently studied other alien autopsy clips years before the fake one emerged.

          Spyros Melaris

There are even claims one intelligence agency expert – Dr Christopher Green – was shown dissection footage at an official briefing in the Pentagon at the beginning of the 1980s.

The now infamous Roswell clip was first unveiled by Brit entrepreneur Ray Santilli who claimed he

      Philip Mantle

obtained it from a retired US military cameraman while seeking archive footage of Elvis Presley in the US.

It was said to show an alien lifeform which had perished in the 1947 UFO crash being cut up and examined by military medics at a top secret location – which some believed was Area 51.

He went on to sell the footage to TV stations in 33 countries – before film maker and magician Spyros Melaris claimed he had actually faked the footage using animal organs and pig brains in a London flat.

           Dr. Christopher ‘Kit’ Green

Now Philip has revealed leaked documents claim CIA specialists were seemingly called in to look into other mystery autopsy footage more than decade earlier.

He told the Sun Online: “The thing about the alien autopsy video is that something

                Robert Bigelow

else always crops up.

“What reinvigorated the interest in the alien autopsy is that a couple of years ago a mysterious email thread was released online.
“The email was to Robert Bigelow, the US billionaire, who used to run an organisation called NIDS (The National Institute for Discovery Sciences).

                        Clifford Stone

“Basically Bigelow hired a number of scientists to work on UFO projects for him and in 2000 or 2001 they contacted me to try and gain access to some pieces of the original celluloid of the film.

     Major Jesse A. Marcel

“This email thread had come from the files of the late Edgar Mitchell, the sixth man on the moon.

“There are a number of people linked to the thread but the main guy they are speaking to is a Dr Christopher ‘Kit’ Green and he worked for the CIA many years back on what he called their weird desk.

“They are quizzing Dr Green about his comments on the alien autopsy film and, apart from saying he thought it was authentic, it goes on to add that back in 1980 or 1981 at an official briefing at the Pentagon they showed him another alien autopsy film.”

If true, that would appear to indicate that there were other alien dissection clips being studied at least 10 years before the bogus film was made.

15% of Brits Think Aliens Will Dominate the Earth by 2040

Article by Cameron Frew                                       March 23, 2021                                            (unilad.co.uk)

• Kicking off ‘UFO Week’, BLAZE pay television did a survey of 2,000 UK adults on matters concerning extraterrestrials and UFOs. According to the results, 15% of the Brits think the Earth may be ruled by a species from another world by 2040.

• Former Ministry of Defence UFO investigator Nick Pope called it ‘the single-most astounding figure’ in the study. Said Pope, “This is not just the latest probe on Mars finding microbial life, this is full on alien invasion – that’s big.”

• Philip Mantle, director of investigations for the British UFO Research Association, said that contrary to sci fi movies and pop culture, he couldn’t find any information which would supporting an impending alien invasion. Mantle mused philosophically as to why another species would travel all that way to dominate our lowly planet. Or perhaps life on Earth evolved from ancient bacteria brought here from Mars via a meteorite, and the we humans are in fact the aliens from Mars dominating this planet.

• As such, Mantle believes that we would be better served looking at potential meteorite impacts on earth, such as the Tunguska meteor of 1908 in Siberia more than studying NASA’s database of Mars images. “It’s not if we’ll get struck again, it’s when,” says Mantle. “[I]t may be a long time coming, but that’s the kind of thing we should be looking for.”

Earth will be invaded and dominated by aliens in the next 20 years, according to 15%

of Brits.

Ahead of UFO Week kicking off today on BLAZE, the channel carried surveyed 2,000 UK adults on matters concerning extraterrestrials and unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP).

There’s no evidence to suggest the White House will be blown up by aliens anytime soon, nor will we be visited by the shells like those in Arrival. However, come 2040, a large portion of Brits believe we may be ruled by a species from another world.

According to the results, 15% think aliens will dominate the Earth over the next 20 years. Nick Pope, a former Ministry of Defence UFO investigator called it ‘the single-most astounding figure’ in the study.

He told UNILAD: ‘This is not just the latest probe on Mars finding microbial life, this is full on alien invasion – that’s big.’

While accepting the rising interest in UFOs and the surrounding theories could be indebted to pop culture, Pope urged: ‘Let’s get beyond the idea that this is just sci-fi, let’s realise and acknowledge [UAP] for the serious defence issue that it is.’

This was echoed by Philip Mantle, director of investigations for the British UFO Research Association, who said: ‘It does reflect the interest in this thing in popular culture,’ with countless action sci-fi movies, whether it’s Alien, Life, Predator, Cloverfield, Edge of Tomorrow or even the Marvel Cinematic Universe and beyond. ‘There’s not very many nice ones like E.T. and things like that,’ he said.

UFOs or ‘Festive Ghosts’ of WWI Soldiers?

Article by Berny Torre                                    December 24, 2020                                  (dailystar.co.uk)

• In the winter of 1922/23, five years after the end of World War I, scores of villagers in Burton Dassett, Warwickshire, England saw “multi-coloured” lights floating over the nearby hills. This was reported in the local Banbury Guardian newspaper in February 1923.

• Mysterious lights believed to be the festive ghosts of World War I soldiers were in fact aliens, a police detective has claimed. Amateur UFO researcher Richard Rokeby says that, “Following the First World War desperate families wanted to believe that there is a hope of communicating with their lost sons again. Therefore, it would be natural at this time to assign any strange phenomena to ghosts and spirits.” The local authorities attributed the bright orbs moving over the hills as ‘marsh gas’ or ‘Will O’ the Wisps’.

• In his book: The Lights Upon The Hills, Rokeby writes: “[I]f we look at these events through modern eyes, it is very clear that what they are witnessing is an historic Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon event,” where the phenomenon seen were actually extraterrestrial craft. Rokeby notes that explanations that the orbs were simply ‘marsh gas’ is not credible because the lights reportedly spooked horses and exerted “downward pressure”.

• “What we have here is multiple witnesses saying that they saw strange lights in the sky and above the ground moving in ways that modern aircraft find very difficult to do today,” writes Rokeby. “I firmly believed that what was actually being witnessed here was a mass …multi-witnessed, extraterrestrial encounter and that these encounters may have been happening for hundreds years, are still happening today and perhaps a large event is going to occur there again and very soon!”

• Top British flying saucer investigator Philip Mantle, who published Rokeby’s book, said: “The story of these sightings in 1923 is so unique that I simply had to publish it. …I personally have been involved in UFO research for over 40 years and it never ceases to amaze me, especially when cases like this land on my desk.”

                        Philip Mantle

Scores of villagers started to see spooky orbs floating over hills near Burton Dassett, Warwickshire, in December 1922.

The sightings were attributed to a natural phenomenon known as marsh gas or Will O’ the Wisps by a local newspaper.

But amateur UFO researcher Richard Rokeby has penned a book, The Lights Upon The Hills, where he claims the witness accounts show they were actually ETs.

The married dad-of-three wrote: “Following the First World War desperate families wanted to believe that there is a hope of communicating with their lost sons again.

“Therefore, it would be natural at this time to assign any strange phenomena to ghosts and spirits.

“But as we will see if we look at these events through modern eyes, it is very clear that what they are witnessing is an historic Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon event.”

Burton Dassett, Warwickshire, England

He told of how several sightings of “multi-coloured” lights moving at speed were reported by the Banbury Guardian in February 1923.

And insisted the paper’s explanation was not “credible” as the lights reportedly spooked horses and exerted “downward pressure”.

The author wrote: “What we have here is multiple witnesses saying that they saw strange lights in the sky and above the ground moving in ways that modern aircraft find very difficult to do today.

“I firmly believed that what was actually being witnessed here was a mass Unidentified Flying Object ( UFO) or Unexplained Aerial Phenomena (UAP) event.

“Therefore, over the course of this book I hope to show that what was seen in the winter of 1922-23 was not ghosts or marsh gas, but was in fact a well documented, multi-witnessed, extraterrestrial encounter and that these encounters may have been happening for hundreds years, are still happening today and perhaps a large event is going to occur there again and very soon!”

Russian Submarines Battle ‘Aliens’ Deep Under the Oceans

Article by Emma Parry                                         October 8, 2020                                        (thesun.co.uk)

• In the book, Russia’s USO Secrets, co-author British UFO investigator Philip Mantle has collected stories about Russian/Soviet Navy encounters with UFOs and ‘USOs – ‘unidentified submerged objects’ – dating back to World War II, based on unclassified Russian documents and accounts from military veterans.

• Former nuclear submarine commander, Yury Beketov, related an incident that occurred in 2009 within the ‘Bermuda Triangle’. The submarine’s instruments repeatedly “detected the movements of material objects at unimaginable speed, around 230 knots (400 km per hour)” under the sea. “The beings that created those material objects significantly exceed us in development,” remarked Beketov.

• Another account is given by a Russian Navy veteran during the Cold War. They would see UFOs flying in towards them, and then dive down beneath the waves. In one incident, the sub’s captain ordered depth charges to be dropped into the path of a USO, which then changed direction and sped off.

• In another encounter, a Russian submarine crew watched as a cigar shaped UFO shot three beams of light down into the Atlantic Ocean. The UFO was about 250 meters long, and slowly descended into the ocean making a strange hissing sound about half a mile from the submarine. The object could not be tracked on radar, however.

• Russian Lieutenant-Commander Oleg Sokolov told his students that while on duty he once spotted, through a submarine periscope, a strange object rising out of the water. Marine scientists in the port city of Sevastopol, Ukraine, claimed they spotted a huge “wheel” rotating below the Black Sea while they were deep sea diving. Other UFOs have appeared over Soviet submarine bases forcing the Soviet General Staff to take them seriously.

• In a 1951 incident, a Soviet submarine encountered a gigantic underwater object heading towards the shore. The captain ordered depth bombs to be dropped into the path of the USO. The USO did not react to the attack and stayed on its course before darting towards the surface. At a depth of 50 meters, it stopped its ascent, changed course and departed.

• In July 1978, Soviet sailors aboard the ship, Yargora, observed a UFO in the Mediterranean. The ship’s captain sent a radiogram to the Soviet Academy of Sciences in Moscow telling them the object was shaped like a flattened-out sphere and was a white pearl color.

• The book publishes the results of a study by the Anomalous Phenomena Commission of the Russian Geographical Society in Saint Petersburg, which concluded that: “UFOs are real”. The author, Mantle, notes that, “[B]oth Russian and American subs have encountered USO’s in various parts of the world.” “More and more researchers around the world are taking a closer look at the … USO phenomena, [which] looks… to be the future of UFO research in general.”

In scenes straight out of a Hollywood movie, Soviet subs are playing a game of cat and mouse with strange underwater craft, according to a new book called Russia’s USO Secrets, by Brit investigator Philip Mantle, based on Russian documents and accounts from military veterans.

                         Philip Mantle

Describing a bizarre incident in the Bermuda Triangle in 2009, former nuclear submarine commander Yury Beketov said: “We repeatedly observed that the instruments detected the movements of material objects at unimaginable speed, around 230 knots (400 km per hour).

“It’s hard to reach that speed on the surface – only in the air [is it possible]… The beings that created those material objects significantly exceed us in development.”

The book also contains accounts from Russian veterans about their close encounters – including hostile acts – at sea during the Cold War.

They have described how UFOs would apparently appear in the sky before diving down beneath the waves.

In one terrifying incident, a captain ordered depth charges to be dropped into the path of a USO which changed direction and sped off.

Lieutenant-Commander Oleg Sokolov told students that while on duty he spotted a strange object through a periscope rising out of the water.

US Army Major ‘Hid Debris From Roswell UFO Crash in His Water Heater After Government Tried to Cover it Up’

Article by Emma Parry                         February 5, 2020                        (thesun.co.uk)

• In July 1947, a “flying disk” crash landed in the desert near Roswell, New Mexico. Military troops moved into the area to investigate and recover debris from the crash site. Major Jesse Marcel, an intelligence officer for the 509th Bomb Group at the Roswell Army Air Field, was the first military man at the site. Specialist teams were brought in to remove the wreckage. It is claimed by some that several dead alien bodies were also recovered and flown to Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio for further study.

• Calvin Parker was 19 years old when he had his own close encounter with a UFO in Pascagoula, Mississippi in October 1973. Parker was fishing on the banks of the Pascagoula River with his pal Charlie Hickson when a UFO landed nearby. Strange creatures with lobster-like claws emerged from the craft, grabbed the two men and dragged them onboard their craft. Being kindred spirits by each having an extraordinary UFO experience, a mutual friend set up three separate meetings between Parker and Marcel in the early 1980s.

• Parker says that Marcel told him “straight up” that a UFO had crashed at Roswell and the US government tried to cover it up. According to Parker, “At first [Marcel] said he was allowed to talk about what had happened but later was told not to say a word in fear that the Russian’s might find out.” “He told me that he was ordered to say that it was just a weather balloon that had crashed, and being a good soldier he carried out those orders.” “He claimed that the government gave out fake information of where the UFO crash site was so that no one would know where it actually happened.”

• At first, the military said that the crashed object was a weather balloon, and later the Air Force claimed it was a downed high-altitude spy balloon from a top secret operation called Project Mogul, to detect Soviet atomic bomb tests. Marcel said he was forced to hold pieces of a weather balloon at a press conference to help debunk the UFO crash story. (see featured image above)

• Major Marcel was very sick at the time of the meetings. He told Parker that, being the first to arrive on the scene at Roswell, he recovered three strange pieces of metal from the crash site. The strange material Marcel found was a kind of lightweight metal that would spring back into shape after being crumpled. He told Parker “[I]t wasn’t anything of this world.” He secretly took the three pieces of the pliable metal material home to show his son, Jesse Jr.

• According to UFO investigator Philip Mantle, Major Marcel’s son, Dr Jesse Marcel Jr, remembers handling the alien material in 1947. But he never saw the material again after that night. Parker and another witness who was interviewed by Mantle say that Marcel confided to them that he had hidden the three pieces of alien material in a hot water heater at his home in Houma, Louisiana. Recalled Parker, “They were hidden in the top of his hot water heater in his house. All you had to do was to undo the top two screws on the water heater and remove the lid.” Unfortunately, Marcel passed away in 1986 before Parker had chance to see him again or check the water heater. “Could the three pieces of UFO debris still be there?” wonders Parker. “Well the house is (still there).”

Major Jesse Marcel, who was the first officer on the scene after a “flying disk” crash landed in New Mexico, took material home from the crash site in July 1947 and kept it in his house, according to British investigator Philip Mantle.

Marcel was dispatched by Roswell Army Air Field, where he worked as an intelligence officer for the

509th Bomb Group, to investigate the crash and recovered pieces of the strange material from the desert.

Specialist teams were brought in to clear the wreckage and, it is claimed by some, several dead alien bodies who were flown to Wright Patterson Airforce Base, Ohio, for further study.

The US Air Force said later the object was a downed high-altitude spy balloon from a top secret operation called Project Mogul, which listened out for Soviet atomic bomb

tests.

However, before his death in 1986, Major Marcel admitted there had been a cover-up – and that he was forced to hold pieces of a weather balloon at a press conference to debunk the UFO crash story.

              Jesse Marcel in the 1980’s

Until now it was not known what happened to the strange material he found at the site – a kind of metal which would spring back into shape after being crumpled – and which he said he took home to show his son, Jesse Jr.

But a witness has told UFO investigator Philip Mantle that the major confided in him that he kept three pieces of the UFO in a hot water heater at his home in Houma, Louisiana.

Man Claims He Strangled Female ‘Alien’ Who Poked Her Finger Up His Nose During Infamous UFO Encounter in Unearthed Hypnosis Tape

Listen to “E77 8-24-19 Man Claims He Strangled Female ‘Alien’ Who Poked Her Finger Up His Nose” on Spreaker.

Article by Emma Parry                     August 20, 2019                  (thesun.co.uk)

• In October 1973, Charlie Hickson and his young friend, Calvin Parker, were fishing on the banks of the Pascagoula River in Pascagoula, Mississippi. Suddenly a UFO landed nearby.  Strange humanoid alien creatures came out and took the men into their spacecraft. (See previous ExoArticles on the ‘Pascagoula incident’ here and here.)

• Parker, then 19 years old, underwent regressive hypnosis with the world’s top alien abduction researcher, the late Budd Hopkins, to recall the incident. These newly discovered session tapes were obtained by the Sun Online newspaper. (Listen to the actual recordings below.) Here are some excerpts from the hypnosis session while Parker was in a trance:

• Parker recalls seeing orange and blue lights coming towards him before a strange craft landed next to his car parked near the pier. Four creatures “built like football players” emerged. They had long arms and broad shoulders, but no face. As Parker’s eyes got blurry, one of the creatures grabbed him by the arm. “I felt a burning,” said Parker, “the second he touched me there was burning all the way through me. And it felt, it felt like hot coals.” Parker felt a “floating” sensation as the alien carried him onto the craft.

• Once inside the craft, Parker pleads, “Dear Lord, please take me. Please let me die… anything has to be better than this. What am I getting into?” Hopkins asks him what he would say to these creatures. Parker replied, “Leave me the fuck alone.”

• Parker feels himself being pulled into a room and strapped down on a table. “I’m strapped to this table, big black straps, there’s one around my legs, there’s one around my arms, there’s one on my stomach and then I’m left alone. … I’m pulling on them, but I can’t break them.” “Now I’m afraid.”

• Parker says that a door opens and a female alien wearing a mask enters the room. “[B]oy this bitch is ugly,” says Parker.  He asks, “Who are you?” “She stuck her finger in my nose and she’s got… a bad attitude. Just as soon as I get loose I’m fixing to twist her head off.” Then Parker adds, “I’ve seen her before, I really hate her.” “She has something in her hand, she’s takes the thing down my nose, around my nose and she’s reaching for my lip.” “[S]he pulls my lip up and I feel a stinging… I can’t catch my breath and… my lip is bleeding. She grabs me by the side of the face.”

• Parker continues, “[A]ll I could think of was killing her, but I knew that I was gonna die in there. Then everything just settles down, so I just kinda lowered back down.” “That bitch just cut my right hand now, I’m bleeding, just a steady drip of blood onto the floor.”

• Parker says the female alien unties his straps and starts undressing him before injected him with something, adding, “I feel like she changed all my blood out of my veins. I’ve never felt anything that hot in all my life.” The alien leaves and returns to the room. Parker says, “She walked in and I grabbed her. “I got her round her skinny-ass little neck and I’m choking her right now… I’m beating her head against this mirror and there’s some kind of black stuff coming out.” A male alien comes in and stops Parker’s attack. “I felt a stinging again,” says Parker.

• Parker then says that he is taken back to the bank of the river, where his friend Charlie Hickson has also been returned. Hickson also publicly claimed to have been abducted. He died in 2011 at age 80, and never backed away from his alien abduction story despite ridicule.

• British UFO investigator Philip Mantle published Calvin Parker’s book, Pascagoula – The Closest Encounter. Mantle says, “To my surprise the hypnosis session produced quite a lot of information that had not previously been available.” Parker, now 64, made his UK debut at the Outer Limits magazine conference in Pontefract, West Yorkshire, on Saturday August 17th.

Calvin Parker underwent regressive hypnosis with the world’s top alien abduction researcher, the late Budd Hopkins, to unlock memories buried in his deep subconscious of his alleged close encounter.

Now newly discovered tapes of the session, obtained by Sun Online, reveal how Calvin claimed he grabbed one of his captors and banged her head against a mirror after she examined him on a table.

         Calvin Parker in 1973

Calvin, then aged 19, was fishing on the banks of the Pascagoula River, in Mississippi, with his pal Charlie Hickson when they claim a UFO landed nearby and they were grabbed by strange creatures with lobster-like claws.

Calvin was put under a trance by Budd who asks him a series of questions about the Pascagoula incident in October 1973.

He remembers seeing strange orange and blue lights coming towards him before a strange craft lands next to his car parked near the pier.

Suddenly four strange creatures “built like football players” emerge.

Calvin recalls: “They came closer and closer and I realise what a serious situation we were in. There’s something I’ve never seen before in my life, they’re coming forward.”

Asked to describe the creatures, Calvin says: “Like a football player. Very broad shoulders, long, long arms, like they don’t have a face, there’s still no face.

The Alien Creatures

“The second one has something else, my eyes were really blurry. I noticed some like dots in front of my eyes. This first one had hold of my arm and there’s a feeling. I almost get sick to my stomach, like I’ll throw up, but I couldn’t throw up.

“Please let me die”

“I felt a burning, the second he touched me there was burning all they way through me. And it felt, it felt like hot coals.”
Calvin said he felt a “floating” sensation as one of the aliens carried him onto the craft.

Once inside the craft Charlie pleads with God to let him die. He said: “Dear Lord, please take me. Please let me die, I don’t know whether this is the way things are supposed to be but please just let me die. Please take me because anything has to be better than this. What am I getting into?”

           Budd Hopkins

Budd asks Calvin: “Let’s just say right now that you could say something to them, right now, a chance to say something to them, what would you say to them?” to which Calvin replies: “Leave me the f**k alone.”

“I’m being strapped down”

Things start to turn sinister as Calvin feels he is being pulled into a room and strapped down on a table.

He said: “I’m scared. I’m wondering where I am, but I’m being pulled by something but don’t know what’s pulling me and then I’m being strapped down. I’m strapped to this table, big black straps, there’s one around my legs, there’s one around my arms, there’s one on my stomach and then I’m left alone.

“Then I feel the adrenaline running through my body. I don’t know if I can break these straps if it’s the last thing I do.

“And I’m able to tug on them and I’m breaking them and I’m pulling on them, but I can’t break them.

US ‘Alien Abductee’ Behind Biggest UFO Conspiracy to Reveal All Four Decades On

Article by Sofie Jackson                      August 4, 2019                      (dailystar.co.uk)

• On October 11, 1973, Calvin Parker (then 19, pictured above today) and his co-worker Charles Hickson (then 42) were fishing on the Pascagoula river in Pascagoula, Mississippi when they were accosted by a 30 foot long, egg-shaped craft, emitting flashing blue lights and a humming sound. The craft landed and some very creepy aliens exited. They were basically ‘humanoid’ but with grey, elephant-like skin, three-digit clawed hands, no eyes, and a slit for a mouth. They had rounded pads for feet, but they ‘floated’ rather than walked.

• The two men were taken aboard the UFO craft where they were “subjected to an examination” that was so terrifying they thought they would die. Afterward, they went to the local sheriff where Hickson passed a lie detector test. The sheriff ultimately believed the men’s story. A historic plaque now stands at the sight were Calvin and Charles were abducted and returned. ‘The Pascagoula Abduction’ has since become one of the world’s best-documented alien abduction cases. (see here for previous and more detailed ExoArticle)

• Charles Hickson has since died, but Calvin Parker retold his traumatic ordeal at a UFO conference in Pontefract, West Yorkshire, England on August 17th. Parker avoided the resulting media frenzy in 1973, but he now has a new book chronicling the event, titled: Pascagoula – The Closest Encounter. Says event organizer, Philip Mantle, “After this year [Parker] will not be speaking anywhere else and plans to retire to his houseboat and get back to a more peaceful life.”

Calvin Parker was just 19 years old when he and co-worker Charles Hickson were allegedly set-upon by a UFO while out fishing in Pascagoula, US.

Charles Hickson and Calvin Parker in 1973

Both men reported their ordeal to the local Sheriff that night, on October 11, 1973.

Astonishingly, the sheriff believed their accounts, with Hickson even passing a lie-detector test, and the next day reporters from across the US raced to the area.

          sketch of the ‘creatures’

|
Unlike the stereotypical “flying saucer” UFO popularised in cartoons, the spaceship described by the men looked more egg-shaped in sketches detailing their claims.

The UFO they said they saw was also estimated to be a staggering 30ft long and accompanied by blue flashing lights and a buzzing sound.

Even worse, the creatures which allegedly abducted the pair were described as nightmarish, mumbling humanoids.

Secret Police Audio Files Prove Men Who Claim They Were Abducted by Alien Creatures With Lobster Claws Were Telling the Truth

by Emma Parry            February 7, 2018             (thesun.co.uk)

• British ufologist Philip Mantle has republished a book about “the Pascagoula Abduction” a bizarre ET encounter that took place in in Pascagoula, Mississippi on the evening of October 11th 1973. Mantle deems this one of the “most unique close encounters on record.” The story is supported by audio tape of the two abductees obtained by the British news website, The Sun Online.

• Charles Hickson, 42, and Calvin Parker, 19 (pictured above), were fishing on the banks of the Pascagoula River when they heard a whizzing sound. An oval shaped craft, 8 ft across, suddenly appeared near them levitating 2 ft above the ground. A door opened and three 5 ft tall “humanoid” creatures emerged and “floated” them into the UFO.

• The ET beings had lobster-like claws at the ends of their arms, “carrot-like” growths for their nose and ears, no eyes, slits for mouths, one leg, and their heads connected directly to their shoulders with no discernible neck. The beings’ skin was described as wrinkled and pale in color.

• Both men reported being paralyzed and numb. The younger, Calvin, fainted from fright. Charles claimed that he was scanned by what looked like a large football-shaped mechanical eye, 6 to 8  inches in diameter. After about 20 minutes, the pair were levitated, or “floated”, feet dragging on the ground, back to their original place on the river bank. The craft left and terrified men went to their car and sat for 45 minutes.

• They first tried reporting the encounter to officials at Keesler Air Force Base, but were told to go to local sheriff’s department. They arrived at the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department at 10:30 pm and gave their report. After 30 minutes of questioning, Sheriff Fred Diamond decided to leave the men alone in a room rigged with a hidden microphone to try and find out if they were lying or not.

• In the recording, the men remain highly distressed and never stray from their story. This so-called “secret tape” had been held on file at the Jackson County Sheriff’s department since 1973. Charles and Calvin even asked to take a lie detector test to prove their honesty.

• Within days, Pascagoula was the center of an international news story with reporters swarming the town. Tiring of the publicity, Charles and Calvin moved 150 miles north of Pascagoula where Calvin was admitted to a hospital for an emotional breakdown.

• Charles, on the other hand, appeared on Dick Cavett’s TV talk show in January 1974, and spoke occasionally at UFO conferences. Charles also co-wrote a book about the event titled UFO Contact at Pascagoula, which is now being republished by Philip Mantle. Charles died on September 9, 2011, at age 80, but never backed away from his alien abduction story.

Secret police audio files reveal that the two men behind one of the craziest “alien encounters” ever recorded were telling the truth, a UFO researcher has claimed. The bizarre Pascagoula incident involved two fishermen who claimed to have been captured by three alien creatures with lobster-like claws and taken into a UFO – before being released.

Audio recorded by the sheriff’s department when the men reported the incident, obtained by Sun Online, show the men were highly distressed by the alleged incident – and never strayed from their story – even when cops left them alone and secretly taped them.

The audio files prove the two men were telling the truth, according to Brit ufologist Philip Mantle, who has republished a book about the incident, which he calls one of the “most unique close encounters on record.”

The incident took place in October 1973, when keen fishermen Charles Hickson, 42, and Calvin Parker, 19, were on the banks of the Pascagoula River, in the US state of Mississippi, and heard a whizzing sound overhead.

They claim that an oval shaped “craft”, some 8ft across, suddenly appeared near them and seemed to levitate about 2ft above the ground.

A door opened and three creatures – who were “humanoid” in shape and about 5ft tall – emerged and seized the men, “floating” them into the UFO, they later told police.

Both men reported being paralysed and numb – while Calvin claimed that he had fainted due to fright.

The men said the creatures had lobster-like claws at the ends of their arms, “carrot-like” growths for their nose and ears, and only one leg and their heads also appeared connected directly to their shoulders, with no discernible neck.

The creatures’ skin was described as pale in colour, wrinkled, with no eyes and slits for mouths.

On the ship, Charles claimed that he was examined by what looked like a large football-shaped mechanical eye, about 6 to 8  inches in diameter, that seemed to scan his body.
Calvin claimed that he could not recall what had happened to him inside the craft, although later, during hypnotic regression he offered some hazy details.

The men said they were released after about 15-20 minutes and the creatures levitated them, with Hickson’s feet dragging along the ground, back to their original positions on the river bank.

The terrified men claimed to have sat in a car for about 45 minutes, trying to calm themselves before they tried to report the sighting to officials at Keesler Air Force Base, but were told to go to police.
At about 10:30pm, the pair arrived at the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department, Mississippi, where they gave a report of what happened and were questioned by officers.

After around 30 minutes of questioning, Sheriff Fred Diamond decided to leave the men alone in a room that was rigged with a hidden microphone – to try and find out if they were lying or not.

He assumed that if they were lying it would become immediately apparent when the two spoke privately but instead, they continued to act incredibly distressed – and never straying from their fantastic tale.

This so-called “secret tape” had been held on file at the Jackson County Sheriff’s department since 1973.

Seeing that the police were skeptical of their story, Charles and Calvin even insisted that they take lie detector tests to prove their honesty.

Within days, Pascagoula was the centre of an international news story, with reporters swarming the town.

Tiring of the publicity, Charles and Calvin moved to Jones County, Mississippi, about 150 miles north of Pascagoula, where Calvin was eventually admitted to hospital for what was described as “an emotional breakdown.”

While Calvin avoided public attention, Charles appeared on Dick Cavett’s TV talk show in January 1974, and spoke at occasional UFO conferences.

He also co-wrote a book about the event with William Mendez titled “ UFO Contact at Pascagoula”, which is now being republished by Philip Mantle.

Charles died in September 9, 2011, at age 80, but never backed away from his alien abduction story despite ridicule.
