• A Google Earth satellite image taken on the International Space Station has once again recorded an image of a gigantic atmospheric line, stretching for thousands of miles. A similar line appeared twice last year.
• The clip, which was posted by conspiracist MrMBB333, shows the massive “object” stretching across the surface of the planet. (see 1:11 minute video feed from the ISS below) “This is something in the sky above planet Earth,” he said. “I’ve been an observer of Earth for years and I’ve never seen anything like this.”
Conspiracy theorists were sent into a frenzy last year when a gigantic line was seen on Google Earth.
It then resurfaced several months later and some even claimed to have caught it from the ground.
And now, a satellite image taken on the ISS seems to show it has appeared once more.
The clip, which was posted by conspiracist MrMBB333, shows the massive “object” stretching across the surface of the planet.
“This is something in the sky above planet Earth,” he said.
“That’s not a continent – there’s nothing over there that is perfectly linear.
“That tells me, more than likely that whatever this is was in the sky.”
He then alters the contrast of the image to show the mystery sight in even more clarity.
“You can see there is definitely something there,” he adds.
“What are these things?”

• The universe is filled with stars, nearly all those stars have planets, and some of those planets are surely livable. So where is everybody? This is the ongoing conundrum that is the Fermi Paradox, first presented by the Italian physicist Enrico Fermi in 1950.
• In 1981, Carl Sagan and William Newman speculated that the answer to the paradox was that intelligent people were simply too far away from us to come here. But they may do so in time. Others reason that tech-savvy civilizations are rare and prone to self-destruction, or are avoiding the Earth on purpose. In 1975, the astrophysicist Michael Hart declared there simply are no other intelligence civilizations in the universe (a hypothesis recently revived by Oxford researcher, Anders Samberg).
• Jonathan Carroll-Nellenback, an astronomer at the University of Rochester, has led another study, now under review by The Astrophysical Journal. Carroll-Nellenback says that it wouldn’t take very long for a space-faring civilization to spread across the galaxy because the movement of stars throughout the galaxy would “… spread life on time scales much shorter than the age of the galaxy” and help distribute life. “The sun has been around the center of the Milky Way 50 times.” According to simulations by Carroll-Nellenback and his colleagues Jason Wright, Adam Frank, and Caleb Scharf, natural variability will mean that sometimes galaxies will be settled, but often not — solving Fermi’s quandary.
• But the fact that no interstellar visitors are here now does not mean they do not exist, the study’s authors say. Civilizations do not last forever. Not every star is a destination, and not every planet is habitable. There’s also what Frank calls “the Aurora effect,” in which settlers arrive at a habitable planet on which they nonetheless cannot survive. When Carroll-Nellenback and his coauthors included these impediments in their model and ran simulations with different star densities, seed civilizations, spacecraft velocities and other variations, they found a vast middle ground between a silent, empty galaxy and one teeming with life. It’s possible that the Milky Way is partially settled, or intermittently so.
• Frank and Wright say that now we need to look for alien signals, which will be possible as more sophisticated telescopes open their eyes to the panoply of exoplanets and begin glimpsing their atmospheres. “We are entering an era when we are going to have actual data relevant to life on other planets,” Frank said. “This couldn’t be more relevant than in the moment we live.”
• [Editor’s Note] The wrangling over Fermi’s Paradox continues among mainstream scientists who are groping for an answer to a flawed premise. When you take the premise that no interstellar beings have ever visited the Earth as “Fact A”, there’s nowhere to go. It becomes a perpetual debate on why there are no beings here besides us. But this is a falsehood from the start. Of course there are extraterrestrial beings all around us. We have real evidence that they have been here for thousands of years, and anecdotal evidence that they have been here for hundreds of millions or even a couple of billion years. This galaxy and the universe are teeming with intelligent life. All of the 52 star systems in our local star cluster have human-like civilizations very similar to our own. We are apparently the last to join this community. It is our time. The problem is that the powers that be, which control the Deep State government and the mainstream science community, have made it a priority to keep Earth humans completely ignorant and unaware of our true reality, often through silly “scientific studies” such as this one.
As far as anyone knows, we have always been alone. It’s just us on this pale blue dot, “home to everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of,” as Carl Sagan so memorably put it. No one has called or dropped by. And yet the universe is filled with stars, nearly all those stars have planets, and some of those planets are surely livable. So where is everybody?
The Italian physicist Enrico Fermi was purportedly the first to pose this question, in 1950, and scientists have offered a bounty of solutions for his eponymous paradox since. One of the most famous came from Sagan himself, with William Newman, who postulated in a 1981 paperthat we just need patience. Nobody has visited because they’re all too far away; it takes time to evolve a species intelligent enough to invent interstellar travel, and time for that species to spread across so many worlds. Nobody is here yet.
Other researchers have argued that extraterrestrial life might rarely become space-faring (just as only one species on Earth ever has). Some argue that tech-savvy species, when they arise, quickly self-destruct. Still others suggest aliens may have visited in the past, or that they’re avoiding us on purpose, having grown intelligent enough to be suspicious of everyone else. Perhaps the most pessimistic answer is a foundational paper from 1975, in which the astrophysicist Michael Hart declared that the only plausible reason nobody has visited is that there really is nobody out there.
Now comes a paper that rebuts Sagan and Newman, as well as Hart, and offers a new solution to the Fermi paradox that avoids speculation about alien psychology or anthropology.
The research, which is under review by The Astrophysical Journal, suggests it wouldn’t take as long as Sagan and Newman thought for a space-faring civilization to planet-hop across the galaxy, because the movements of stars can help distribute life. “The sun has been around the center of the Milky Way 50 times,” said Jonathan Carroll-Nellenback, an astronomer at the University of Rochester, who led the study. “Stellar motions alone would get you the spread of life on time scales much shorter than the age of the galaxy.” Still, although galaxies can become fully settled fairly quickly, the fact of our loneliness is not necessarily paradoxical: According to simulations by Carroll-Nellenback and his colleagues, natural variability will mean that sometimes galaxies will be settled, but often not — solving Fermi’s quandary.
The question of how easy it would be to settle the galaxy has played a central role in attempts to resolve the Fermi paradox. Hart and others calculated that a single space-faring species could populate the galaxy within a few million years, and maybe even as quickly as 650,000 years. Their absence, given the relative ease with which they should spread, means they must not exist, according to Hart.
Sagan and Newman argued it would take longer, in part because long-lived civilizations are likelier to grow more slowly. Faster-growing, rapacious societies might peter out before they could touch all the stars. So maybe there have been a lot of short-lived, fast-growing societies that wink out, or a few long-lived, slowly expanding societies that just haven’t arrived yet, as Jason Wright of Pennsylvania State University, a coauthor of the new study, summarized Sagan and Newman’s argument. But Wright doesn’t agree with either solution.
“That conflates the expansion of the species as a whole with the sustainability of individual settlements,” he said. “Even if it is true for one species, it is not going to be this iron-clad law of xenosociology where if they are expanding, they are necessarily short-lived.” After all, he noted, life on Earth is robust, “and it expands really fast.”
In their new paper, Carroll-Nellenback, Wright and their collaborators Adam Frank of Rochester and Caleb Scharf of Columbia University sought to examine the paradox without making untestable assumptions. They modeled the spread of a “settlement front” across the galaxy, and found that its speed would be strongly affected by the motions of stars, which previous work — including Sagan and Newman’s — treated as static objects. The settlement front could cross the entire galaxy based just on the motions of stars, regardless of the power of propulsion systems. “There is lots of time for exponential growth basically leading to every system being settled,” Carroll-Nellenback said.

• In a 1975 novel, Imperial Earth, science fiction author Arthur C. Clarke first put forward the idea of advanced alien civilizations utilizing a black hole-powered spacecraft. Charles Sheffield presented a similar idea in his 1978 short story, “Killing Vector”.
• Ten years ago, Kansas State University mathematician Dr Louis Crane, and physics grad student Shawn Westmoreland, co-authored a paper entitled, “Are Black Hole Spacecraft Possible?” which explored the possibility of using the Hawking radiation emitted by an artificial black hole.
• Dr Crane has now authored a new study entitled “Searching for Extraterrestrial Civilizations Using Gamma-Ray Telescopes” suggesting that spacecraft could be powered by the Hawking radiation from a tiny artificial black hole found by using gamma telescopes, which can also aid in the search for alien civilizations.
Scientists are always challenged to think outside the box, but when it came to looking for possible signs of Extra-Terrestrial Intelligence (ETI), it was even harder. One conclusion that scientists came upon was that many alien civilizations would be more technologically advanced than humanity since they might be older than us. People (who are) part of the Search for the Extra-Terrestrial Intelligence (SETI) have to consider that the extraterrestrials might be more advanced.
One radical idea would be that spacefaring alien civilizations could harness radiation emitted from black holes (Hawking radiation) to generate the power they need for their spacecraft. Louis Crane decided to build on this, and as a mathematician at Kansas State University (KSU), the researcher recently authored a study that suggests evidence of spacecraft powered by tiny artificial black holes could be found by using gamma telescopes.
“Searching for Extraterrestrial Civilizations Using Gamma-Ray Telescopes,” as the new study was called, is now available online. Dr. Crane had published another paper before on the subject which was co-authored by a physics grad student with KSU, Shawn Westmoreland, titled “Are Black Hole Spacecraft Possible?” and published ten years ago.

• The UK Space Agency has announced it will spend £25 million on the ‘Planetary Transits and Oscillations of Stars’ mission, placing 26 telescopes and cameras around the globe which will look for habitable planets in the ‘Goldilocks zone’ in one million nearby star systems. The mission will be headquartered at the University of Warwick (Coventry, England).
• The telescopes will look at the transit zones of the star when a planet crosses the face of a star, and scientists can note a dip in brightness. The telescopes will then examine the chemical make-up of the planets, and look for ‘biosignatures’ – signs of life. Science Minister Chris Skidmore said, “(This mission) may eventually lead to us answering the question of whether extra-terrestrial life exists.”
• Professor Don Pollacco of the University of Warwick leading the PLATO Science Management Consortium, said, “These planets will be close enough to facilitate a historic search for signs of life in their atmospheres using the next generation of large telescopes. For the first time we will start to understand if life exists beyond the solar system.”
• The UK government will also spend £10million to help create the ‘Solar wind Magnetosphere Ionosphere Link Explorer’, which will examine how space weather interacts with Earth. “Space weather – such as solar wind – is a potential threat to our communications systems here on Earth so this research examining how the wind interacts with our planet’s electromagnetic system is important,” said Skidmore.
• “[O]ur investment will ensure UK scientists and engineers will be leading participants in all aspects of the mission… through our ongoing membership of the European Space Agency,” Chris Lee, Chief Scientist at the UK Space Agency, said. “(This) is a game changer in Exoplanet science.”
The UK Space Agency has announced it is committing the large sum to a mission which will browse the universe for signs of life. The mission is known as Plato, short for Planetary Transits and Oscillations of Stars, and will use 26 telescopes and cameras around the globe which will examine one million nearby star systems. University of Warwick is heading the mission, which states the plan is to look for habitable planets that are orbiting the ‘goldilocks zone’ – a region around a host star where it is neither too hot nor too cold.
The telescopes will look at the transit zones of the star to determine this. The transit zone is when a planet crosses the face of a star, and scientists can note a dip in brightness.
The telescopes will then examine the chemical make-up of the planets, and look for ‘biosignatures’ – signs of life.

• A new University of Sheffield research study suggests solar systems formed in turbulent times, when stars form in pairs, could actually improve the chances of allowing the planets around them to be the right temperature. About one third of our galaxy’s star systems are made up of binary star pairs. In such systems, when the stars are far enough apart, the habitable ‘Goldilocks zone’ is set by the radiation emanating from individual stars. If the stars are close enough, the zone’s size expands. The stars feel the warmth from each other and the planet is more likely to be in the habitable zone, doctors Bethany Wootton and Richard Parker write. When a pair of stars encounter a third star, the binary pair of stars might be pushed together. This, in turn, could expand the habitable zone, increasing the likelihood of life.
• And in a typical “stellar nursery”, where there would be 350 or so binaries, some 20 of them would be squeezed together in such a way as to expand their Goldilocks zone, and with it the chance of alien life. In some cases, those habitable zones even overlapped, consequently increasing the chances of life. These are the star systems toward which astronomers should turn their telescopes in the search for alien life.
• Dr Wootton said: ”Our (computer) model suggests that there are more binary systems where planets sit in Goldilocks zones than we thought, increasing the prospects for life. “So those worlds beloved of science fiction writers – where two suns shine in their skies above alien life – look a lot more likely now.”
Young planetary systems are violent, with new planets often colliding into each other. Such environments were thought to be too rough for life since they are so harsh and extreme. But the latest research now suggests astronomers should, in fact, turn their telescopes to these solar systems in the search for alien life.
The search for extraterrestrial life has so far centred around planets orbiting stars similar to our own.
This is because of a bias presuming other solar system containing aliens will likely look like ours.
But almost none of those “solar twins” – stars resembling our own – have actually been found to exist.
Now new University of Sheffield research suggests solar systems formed in turbulent times, when stars form in pairs, could actually improve the chances of allowing the planets around them to be the right temperature.
Such habitable planets sit in a zone where liquid water can exist and life could consequently flourish.
When they encounter a third star, a binary pair of stars might be pushed together.
This, in turn, could expand the habitable zone, increasing the likelihood of life.
The habitable zone is dubbed the “Goldilocks zone”: existing where the temperature is just right – not too hot and not too cold.
Those perfect conditions are believed to be necessary for life since water could allow complex molecules to eventually evolve into life can form.

• The University of Central Florida’s Center for Lunar and Asteroid Surface Science’s Exolith Lab creates simulated extraterrestrial surface material, ranging from lunar soil to Martian dirt, in order to lay the “groundwork” (pun intended) for establishing off-world colonies. Their most recent study is on asteroid surfaces, which Phil Metzger, a planetary scientist at UCF and lead author of the study, published in the journal Icarus.
• The wealth management company Morgan Stanley estimates that the space economy will be worth more than $1.1 trillion by 2040. Metzger believes that by the end of the century there will be more economic activity off planet Earth than on planet Earth. “With economics moving in that direction, it’s important for us to get a head start trying to create the regulatory and engineering environments to make sure everything is done safely and justly,” Metzger says.
• The team measured meteorites’ (as reference material) mineralogical composition; elemental composition; densities of rocks and crushed rocks known as regolith; mechanical strength; magnetic susceptibility; volatile release pattern; and particle size destruction. This standardization is highly needed, Metzger said, as previous attempts at creating simulated extraterrestrial surface material have used everything from floral foam to beach sand. If tests are performed on simulant that isn’t similar to the real thing or is not suited for that test, then it makes the test results invalid.
• The team achieved a “high-fidelity simulant”, which “will be very valuable for companies doing asteroid mining, doing tests of constructions of facilities and landing pads, metal extraction and more,” says Metzger. The studies’ co-author, Dan Britt added, “I think we did a good job of producing a simulant that mimics the parent asteroidal material pretty well.”
• Metzger said the research team will continue to grade simulants created in the Exolith Lab as well as offer their grading system to simulants created in other labs. They will also be receiving feedback from the community about improvements in the grading system and will work with the American Society of Civil Engineers for consensus on having the grading standards adopted.

University of Central Florida researchers are already laying the groundwork for the off-world jump by creating standards for extraterrestrial surfaces. Their work was detailed recently in a study published in the journal Icarus.
“I’m firmly convinced that by the end of the century there will be more economic activity off planet Earth than on planet Earth,” says Phil Metzger, a planetary scientist at UCF and lead author of the study.

• The Pennsylvania State University, or “Penn State”, has received a $2.5 million endowment from alumnus John and Natalie Patton, plus another $1 million anonymous pledge, to create “PSETI” – Penn State’s SETI program (Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence). It will be called the Penn State Extraterrestrial Intelligence Center.
• PSETI will create a “world-class SETI research program,” establish graduate curriculum to train the next generation of researchers, initiate a competitive research grants program, coordinate conferences and symposia and establish a permanent, worldwide SETI community.
• SETI is an international scientific effort that seeks to answer whether ours is the only technologically-capable species in the Milky Way galaxy. Jason Wright, an associate professor of astronomy and astrophysics who will lead the center, told Science Magazine the field has been lacking in academic training.

• A new study entitled ‘Dissolving the Fermi Paradox’, by Oxford University researcher Anders Sandberg, and reported to Universetoday.com, concludes that we are the only intelligent life in the known universe.
• The Oxford research team used the famous Fermi paradox as the basis for their study. The Fermi paradox looks at the contradiction between the high probability of existence of alien civilizations and the overwhelming lack of evidence we’ve found since starting to scan the stars. The researchers incorporated new elements into the paradox equation, such as bias and uncertainty, and determined that the paradox’ conclusions of a small chance of other intelligent life existing in the universe was not accurate. Their conclusion is that we are completely alone in the universe.
• In the report goes on to say that even if we did somehow stumble across aliens, they may not be intelligent ones. “When the model is recast to represent realistic distributions of uncertainty, we find a substantial ex ante probability of there being no other intelligent life in our observable universe, and thus that there should be little surprise when we fail to detect any signs of it,” the team wrote.
• Bottom line: time to go back to those X-Files re-runs on Netflix because that’s the closest we’re going to get to any sort of alien encounter at the moment.
• [Editor’s Note] The only thing that this new study reveals, with certainty, is that the University of Oxford in England is a Deep State stronghold, spewing copious volumes of disinformation. These mainstream scientific “researchers” use pseudo-scientific intellectual gibberish to mask their stunningly ignorant “conclusion” that there is no other intelligent life in the universe except for our own. Perhaps puppet scientists and researchers, such as Anders Sandberg, should focus on a different issue: whether their kind will have any place in our scientific community once the existence of innumerable alien species throughout our galaxy, and even our historic and continuing interaction with many of them, is finally disclosed to the public. ‘This result dissolves the Fermi paradox, and in doing so removes any need to invoke speculative mechanisms by which civilizations would inevitably fail to have observable effects upon the universe.’ Bottom line: time to go back to those X-Files re-runs on Netflix because that’s the closest we’re going to get to any sort of alien encounter at the moment.

• A faction of the San Francisco-based SETI (Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence) has split off to form METI, or Messaging Extraterrestrial Intelligence. While SETI traditionalists believe humans should only look and listen for extraterrestrials to avoid tipping off evil aliens, the METI group intends to broadcast messages to space aliens. The clash is the first major division in the tight-knit community of astronomers, astrophysicists, philosophers, psychologists and science fiction writers who are convinced intelligent beings are out there somewhere.
• SETI has been searching in vain for radio signals or some other sign of life beyond Earth from its Bay Area Mountain View headquarters for 35 years. Astrobiologist Douglas Vakoch, who split with the METI group, says, “What if [the ET’s] position is, ‘No, you are the ones who are new to this game. You send us a signal first.’” METI will employ radar and laser technology to beam more powerful multi-directional messages into space.
• SETI astronomers are worried that less-then-friendly extraterrestrials might be more inclined to enslave Earthlings and mercilessly plunder and destroy Earth. “We wonder whether the galaxy that we are in is maybe a dark forest, where it is dangerous to scream because there are creatures out there unhappy with new life forms,” said astronomer Andrew Fraknoi. “You don’t want to advertise your presence in a dark forest.” Stephen Hawking was among those who warned that aliens “may not see us as any more valuable than we see bacteria.”
• Vakoch formed METI after a vote in 2014 by the SETI Institute board rejecting his plans to broadcast messages. Vakoch and his supporters reason that any predatory civilization would probably have detected us by now, since our radar, radio and television signals would long ago have signaled our presence. They began sending active signals into space in 2017. “We may have to target hundreds and thousands and maybe millions of stars before we find anything.” Says Vakoch. “I view this as a reflection of the natural growth of SETI.”
• Using Earth’s current technology, it would take 80,000 years for an astronaut to reach the closest star, Alpha Centauri. Fraknoi speculates that self-replicating civilizations could travel through space for thousands of years and still be alive to tell about it when the trip is over.
• Seth Shostak, a senior astronomer at the SETI Institute who supports Vakoch’s work, says that given the enormous distances, we may never find intelligent life if we don’t get out there and look for it. “No transmissions into the sky because there might be nasty aliens out there.’ That’s just paranoia. Paranoia is not a good long-term policy.”
• The issue moved to the forefront in 1989 when SETI scientists published a declaration of principles on how international leaders should be consulted before anyone replies to an ET signal. A committee of the International Academy of Astronautics took it a step further in the 1990’s, urging consultations with world leaders before anyone attempts to broadcast a powerful message into space that is likely to be detectable by alien life.
• “Human history is littered with examples of societies disrupted by direct contact with others, even when it was led by idealistic missionaries,” Says Michael Michaud, former director of the State Department’s Office of Space and Advanced Technology. “Ignore the Hollywood scenario of reptilian aliens landing on Earth’s surface to conquer our planet. They would not need to use futuristic weapons; the correct pesticide would do.”
• [Editor’s Note] Could the real purpose for these “scientists” to labor in vain for decades be to simply to create a disinformation campaign to make people believe that ‘smart people’ are actively looking for alien beings, and since they haven’t officially found any, then we can presume that there are no aliens out there? Mainstream science willfully denies the ample proof that dozens of different extraterrestrial species have visited the Earth over the past seventy years. Some alien species are positive and some are negative. The positive ones abide by a galactic law of non-interference with a low-level developing species such as we humans on Earth. A cosmic rift has opened between Bay Area astronomers and a splinter group of San Francisco stargazers who are hell-bent on contacting space aliens, hang the consequences.

The battle is so heated that one prominent scientist quit the Mountain View group known as SETI, or Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence, to form METI, or Messaging Extraterrestrial Intelligence.

“We’ve always assumed the extraterrestrials were looking for us,” Vakoch said. But “what if their position is, ‘No, you are the ones who are new to this game. You send us a signal first.’”
SETI has been searching for radio signals or some other sign of life beyond Earth from its Mountain View headquarters for 35 years, but with nothing to show for its effort, Vakoch and other restless alien hunters are insisting on a more active search, including employing radar and laser technology to beam more powerful multidirectional messages into space.
The problem, many SETI astronomers warn, is that, instead of an intergalactic kumbaya, intelligent extraterrestrials might very well be more inclined to enslave Earthlings and mercilessly plunder and destroy Earth.
Those who adhere to this dark theory imagine humanity as a childlike form of life lost in an Amazonian jungle crawling with skulking predators, said Andrew Fraknoi, a SETI Institute board member.

Vakoch and his supporters, including some astronomers at SETI, call the dark forest analogy silly. Any predatory civilization would probably have detected us by now simply by analyzing our atmosphere, they reason. Humans, Vakoch said, have been using radar, which can purportedly be detected 70 light-years away, since World War II. Television and radio signals would long ago have signaled our presence to malevolent space ruffians, he said.

Unconcerned about an invasion of intergalactic invertebrates who are out for our heads, Vakoch adapted a transmitter and used a Norwegian observatory in late 2017 to send a message 12.4 light-years away to Luyten’s Star, a red dwarf with a large planet in the constellation Canis Minor.
He spent years developing the message, combining mathematics and the fundamentals of language that he believes even a blind alien could understand. It was the first of what Vakoch hopes will be many signals sent by his group.
“Our goal is to say we are interested in making contact,” Vakoch said. “We may have to target hundreds and thousands and maybe millions of stars before we find anything. I view this as a reflection of the natural growth of SETI.”

• Physicist Freeman Dyson popularized the concept of a structure soaking up 100 % of a star’s (like our Sun) and converting it into useful energy, known as a Dyson Sphere. Dyson claimed that looking for signs of massive structures capturing the power of a host star in distant solar systems could lead us to advanced extraterrestrial civilizations.
• Some believe that aliens might already be using a Dyson Sphere on a mysterious dimming star known as Tabby’s star, theorizing that the dimming is a sign of a structure surrounding the star. Other astronomers say that the dimming is likely just caused by dust.
• But astro-engineers say that a Sun-encircling sphere would be impractical, as the environmental and gravitational stresses of a solid structure around the Sun would certainly destroy the shell, even if we had the materials needed to do it. They suggest that the answer may be a ‘Dyson Swarm’ – a large number of advanced solar panels orbiting the Sun, capturing its light from all directions, and continuously transmitting the energy back to Earth.
• Futurists say building a Dyson Swarm would require extreme measures like mining Mercury for materials – eventually destroying that planet. But a successfully implemented Dyson Swarm could extend humanity’s survival in the solar system and provide the power needed to colonize other planets.
In a thought experiment, Physicist Freeman Dyson popularized the concept of a structure that could trap 100 percent of a star’s energy. Dyson claimed that advanced civilizations or extraterrestrials might use massive structures to capture the power of their host star. He said that looking for signs of these structures would lead us to other lifeforms. This concept inspired what later became known as a Dyson Sphere – a hypothetical megastructure that would surround the Sun, soaking up its light and converting it into useful energy.
Today, there are a few different Dyson inspired designs. The classic Dyson Shell, for instance, is often portrayed in sci-fi works. The solid structure, the size of a planetary orbit, contains solar habitats, each powered by their host star’s light. But this megastructure would be impossible for humanity to pull off due to the fact that the materials needed to build it don’t exist. On top of that, environmental and gravitational stresses of the Sun would destroy the shell.
Instead, some astro engineers believe a Dyson Swarm is the most practical design for our solar system. This concept would require the construction of an army of advanced solar panels which would orbit the Sun, capturing its light from all directions. The solar panels would collect the Sun’s radiation and continuously transmit the energy wirelessly back to Earth. Still, futurists say building a Dyson Swarm would require extreme measures like mining Mercury for materials – eventually destroying the planet. But if we manage to successfully create a sun sucking megastructure, it will extend humanity’s survival in the solar system and provide the power needed to colonize other planets. Considering all the advanced technology needed to make this happen though, it will be a very long time until any sort of Dyson Sphere takes the leap from science fiction to reality.
But, like Freeman Dyson, some people believe that aliens might already be using Dyson Sphere-like structures. And they point to a mysterious dimming star – known as Tabby’s Star – as potential evidence. Believers say that the dimming is a sign of a structure surrounding the star. While many astronomers say that the dimming is likely just caused by dust. But in the far-fetched chance that there is an advanced civilization out there soaking up all the energy in the universe, let’s just hope that they’ll use their power for good, not evil.

• In 1974, scientists at Arecibo Observatory in Puerto Rico used the 1,000-foot-wide radio telescope to send a carefully crafted radio broadcast into outer space – a message of zeros and ones meant to alert aliens to our existence for the first time. In honor of the 45th anniversary of that transmission, researchers at the observatory are pondering how to design a follow-up dispatch. Rather than asking their fellow experts, they’ve launched a global contest inviting youth, from kindergarteners to 16-year-olds, to create the New Arecibo Message.
• Says Abe Pacini, a researcher at Arecibo, “Sometimes the scientists are so focused on their topics and they can see stuff very deep but they cannot see very broad… Students know a little bit about everything, so they can see the big picture better. For sure they can design a message that is actually much more important.” Teams composed of up to ten students plus one mentor must register by March 20th. The more diverse the team is, the more points it gets. The contest guidelines recommend using social media to find possible teammates in other countries or regions. The Arecibo scientists will determine which, if any, message will be selected to represent Earth.
• The 1974 Arecibo message was authored by Frank Drake and Carl Sagan and provided basic information about us, like the position of Earth in our solar system, the size of the human population, the shape of the human body, and the double helix structure of DNA. (The information about the nucleotides in DNA has since been shown to be false.) The message was beamed at M13, a globular star cluster 25,000 light years away. (But these primitive radio waves would take 25,000 years for the message to get there.)
• Another determination that the scientists will make is the “risks of exposure” inherent in messaging alien civilizations. Scientists like the late Stephen Hawking and technologists like Elon Musk have warned that communicating with extraterrestrials could pose an existential threat to the Earth if the message is received by hostile aliens. In 2015, SETI researchers, Elon Musk, and others released a statement saying, “We strongly encourage vigorous international debate by a broadly representative body prior to engaging further in this activity.”
• Astronomer and science fiction author David Brin, one of the most vocal critics of an Arecibo Message, says that, “[M]ost of us are much more concerned about the arrogance these zealots are displaying by presuming to speak for a civilization of 8 billion people without ever exposing their assumptions to normal debate and risk assessment.” Brin also noted, “Their instrument (the Arecibo Telescope) is funded by the taxpayers.”
• Douglas Vakoch, an astrobiologist who worked at SETI before splitting off to found his own international organization, Messaging Extraterrestrial Intelligence (METI), points out that “[A]ny civilization that could do us harm would already know we’re here from our accidental TV and radio leakage.” Vakoch says that the most important aspect of this communication may be our announcing to the galaxy that we are ready to make contact. Known as the ‘Zoo Hypothesis’, this is the idea that extraterrestrials may be keeping an eye on our planet but are waiting for us to indicate that we want to be in contact and that we’re sophisticated enough to merit attention.
• Neither a 1967 Outer Space Treaty ratified by dozens of countries and adopted by the United Nations which laid out an anti-weaponization framework for space, nor a SETI post-ET-detection protocol drafted in the 1980’s, addresses any protocol for actively sending out messages to other civilizations.
• For Brin, all this anxiety over interstellar communication seems like a reflection of our anxieties about communicating with one another. Underneath the question of how to talk to alien minds is a question that’s much closer to home: how to make ourselves understood to other minds right here on Earth.
• On a bulletin board at the Arecibo visitor center where kids were invited to post messages, one child’s misspelled missive was especially poignant: “Earth is destroying it self. Help us! Please help! Send better knowledg.”

This is just another example of mainstream scientists pretending to be on the cutting edge of space exploration when, in fact, our secret space programs are hundreds of years more advanced in space technology. I asked Alessandra Abe Pacini, a researcher at Arecibo who helped generate the idea for the contest, why kids are the best people for the job. “Sometimes the scientists are so focused on their topics and they can see stuff very deep but they cannot see very broad,” she said. “Students know a little bit about everything, so they can see the big picture better. For sure they can design a message that is actually much more important.”
But designing messages to aliens is a tricky business, on multiple levels. How do you write a missive that an alien intelligence will be able to understand? Should you avoid including sensitive information about humanity, in case that emboldens aliens to come to our planet and annihilate our species? Should you avoid transmitting messages into outer space altogether, because even just alerting aliens to our existence is too risky?
These questions are at the heart of a long-running, and sometimes very heated, debate among scientists. There’s no consensus about any of them, or even about the meta-question of who gets to decide on the answers.
One thing is clear, though: The stakes are extremely high. As scientists like the late Stephen Hawking and technologists like Elon Musk have warned, communicating with extraterrestrials could pose a catastrophic risk to humanity. In fact, if we send out a message and it’s received by less-than-friendly aliens, that could pose an existential threat not only to the human species but to every species on Earth.
The Original Arecibo Message
When space scientists wanted to celebrate a huge upgrade that had been made to the Arecibo Observatory in 1974, two of their greatest minds stepped up to draft a memo to aliens. It would be broadcast from the telescope during a public ceremony. Frank Drake, who came up with the famous “Drake Equation” for estimating the odds that intelligent life exists in our galaxy, crafted the message with help from Carl Sagan, the astronomer and popular science writer who penned Contact and popularized the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence (SETI) organization.
Written in binary code — a series of ones and zeros — the message was designed with the hope of being intelligible to any aliens who might be listening. It sought to give them some basic information about us, like the position of Earth in our solar system, the size of the human population, the shape of the human body, and the double helix structure of DNA. When you look at the message in pictogram form, you can see all these components and more.
But this interstellar postcard was directed at M13, a globular star cluster 25,000 light years away, which may help explain why we haven’t heard back yet — it’ll take 25,000 years for the message to get there and the same amount of time for any reply to get back to us. The scientists chose that destination partly because the star cluster was big and relatively close, and partly just because it was within the telescope’s declination range (the part of the sky it can target) at the time of the ceremony.
In other words, the scientists weren’t really aiming to communicate with an alien civilization in their lifetimes so much as they were trying to publicly showcase the fact that their telescope could now do something incredible: For nearly three minutes, it sent a cosmic hello from humanity into the sky, as the audience assembled on site was moved to tears.

• Researchers at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory have discovered that the 74,000 square mile (192,000 square kilometre) Thwaites Glacier in Western Antarctica is melting and has created a huge ‘glacial cavity’ at the bottom of it containing 14 billion tons of frozen fresh water. And it is still melting at an “explosive” rate.
• This demonstrates that Antarctic ice is not only melting in areas adjacent to oceans, but also from underneath its thick ice sheets. Were the Thwaites Glacier to melt completely, it could cause global sea levels to rise by some two feet. Such a rise would be enough to threaten coastal cities around the globe, flooding island nations and leading to soil erosion. Lucas Zoet, a science professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s department of geoscience, fears that the collapse of the Thwaites Glacier “could potentially destabilize the whole region of West Antarctica.” And this doesn’t include the concurrent ice melt from other parts of Antarctica, the Arctic and Greenland.
• Last year, researchers from Germany, Austria and Australia released a study which concluded that with sea levels expected to rise two feet worldwide by the year 2300, low-lying areas of Florida and Bangladesh, and entire nations such as the Maldives in the Indian Ocean or Kiribati in the Pacific, would be threatened, with massive coastal urban areas such as Shanghai, London, New York, and New Orleans affected as well.
• The Thwaites ice formation also serves to prevent other nearby glaciers from sliding toward the sea. If that happens and those glaciers melt, sea levels would rise not by two feet, but up to ten feet, affecting areas of human habitation much further inland and causing even more chaos to local ecosystems.
• Researchers from the Antarctic Research Centre at New Zealand’s Victoria University of Willington and McGill University in Canada have recently published an article in Nature which warned that the billions of tons of freshwater melt flowing into the oceans from melting ice sheets in Greenland and Antarctica would cause the global oceanic conveyor belt network to diminish, resulting in longer, more extreme hot or cold snaps, wet spells and dry stretches, and greater temperature variance throughout the world.
• According to Dr. Ted Scambos, a senior research scientist at the US National Snow and Ice Data Centre, “The point is not so much [in] whether or not it’s going to happen… the important thing is how fast is this going to happen.” (see 4:58 minute CBS News video on the Antarctic glacial melt below)
• [Editor’s Note] It appears that, in addition to a much more rapid rate of rising sea levels, the continent of Antarctica might sooner reveal the remnants of a non-human civilization concealed underneath the ice.
The glacial cavity, found at the bottom of a glacier in western Antarctica with the use of ice-penetrating radar and satellites with high-resolution lenses, was discovered by researchers at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, who called the find “disturbing” and warned that the mysterious cavity, once containing 14 billion tonnes of frozen fresh water, was still growing at an “explosive” rate. The discovery is vital, the scientists said, because it demonstrated that Antarctic ice is melting not only in areas adjacent to oceans, but also from underneath its thick ice sheets.
Rising Sea Levels
The immediate and most obvious concern about the discovery is that if the Thwaites Glacier, which extends some 192,000 square kilometres, or 74,000 square miles, were to melt completely, it could raise global sea levels by some 2 feet (0.6 metres). According to the Smithsonian Institute, such a rise would be enough to threaten coastal cities around the globe, flooding island nations and leading to soil erosion.
Last year, researchers from Germany, Austria and Australia released a studywhich concluded that with sea levels expected to rise two feet worldwide by the year 2300, low-lying areas of Florida and Bangladesh, and entire nations such as the Maldives in the Indian Ocean or Kiribati in the Pacific, would be threatened, with massive coastal urban areas such as Shanghai, London, New York, and New Orleans affected as well.
If rising sea levels come to pass sooner than expected thanks to new, previously unknown phenomena, like the Thwaites Glacier cavity, “that’s going to really throw a wrench into the ability for these nations to plan and prepare for the impacts of sea level rise,” Dr. Ted Scambos, a senior research scientist at the US National Snow and Ice Data Centre, told USA Today.
Fleets of Dangerous Icebergs?
In addition to its massive store of frozen fresh water, the Thwaites ice formation is thought to serve as an important ‘door stop’, preventing nearby glaciers from sliding toward the sea. If that happens and those glaciers melt, sea levels would rise not by two feet, but up to ten feet (three metres), affecting areas of human habitation much further inland and causing even more chaos to local ecosystems.
In this sense, Thwaites “holds a kind of wildcard for being able to increase the rate of sea-level rise quite rapidly if things unfold a certain way,” Scambos said.
In addition to their possible threat to local wildlife, icebergs breaking off from Antarctica could pose a major threat to human oceanic activities, particularly shipping. In 2018, New Zealand news portal Engineering News warned that Antarctic icebergs were already posing a heightened hazard to southerly shipping routes. A year earlier, the US Coast Guard’s International Ice Patrol warned shipping companies that an unusually high number of icebergs were drifting into shipping lanes in northern areas, with the monitoring agency reporting four seasons of “extreme” danger in a row due to bergs drifting through the North Atlantic.
And while Antarctic icebergs are seen as less of a threat than those forming in the Northern Hemisphere and the Arctic, given existing shipping lanes, they still pose a threat, according to scientists.

Famed whistleblower Bob Lazar has recently been in the news with a new documentary about his groundbreaking experiences at Area 51’s highly classified S-4 facility. In his initial TV interviews with George Knapp back in 1989, Lazar first discussed element 115 (Moscovium) and how it was used in the propulsion system of the alien craft hidden at the S-4 facility. He said that aliens had supplied 500 pounds (227 kg) for reverse engineering purposes.
In 2014, Lazar did another interview with Knapp where he discussed Element 115 and how it is created both synthetically and naturally through supernova, which is the cataclysmic explosion of a star.
Given recent studies showing that suns regularly undergo micronova or “solar flash” events, we have another process by which a star can produce and eject heavy elements, which are subsequently mined by advanced extraterrestrial civilizations in a cyclic manner.
Lazar further explained in his interviews that bombarding Element 115 with protons leads to it creating Element 116 (Livermorium) which immediately decays and produces antimatter. The antimatter collides with normal particles creating a massive energy burst, which can be used for propulsion. It’s quite likely Element 115 could also be the famed exotic matter that is needed to create traversable wormholes that physicists such as Drs. Kip Thorne and Carl Sagan have speculated, and was the subject of a recently leaked Defense Intelligence Reference Document titled “Traversable Wormholes, Stargates, and Negative Energy” .
What follows is a post from May 21, 2005 where I first discussed Element 115 and how its discovery had provided scientific corroboration for Lazar’s earlier claims.
I wish to focus on some recent scientific advances that vindicate some of the information that Bob Lazar provided from his alleged experiences at S4, and respond to some of his critics. The most important criticism concerned Lazar’s initial claim in 1989 of the existence of a stable form of element 115. The existence of such an element was initially dismissed by some of his critics and became a factor in Lazar not being taken seriously. For example Stanton Friedman wrote in 1997:
“There is no evidence that any 115 has been created anywhere. Based on what we know about all other elements over #100, it would certainly have been radioactive with a short half life, and 500 pounds could not have been accumulated. However, in February 2004 scientists announced that they were able to reproduce an isotope of 115 in a laboratory, and said that a stable isotope is possible. Dr Joshua Patin, one of the creators of the 115 isotope, confirmed in an interview with Linda Moulton Howe that with sufficient technological advances, the creation of a stable form of 115 is possible:
“[Howe:] Could there be an element 115 isotope that is solid and can be held in the hand?
[Dr Patin:] “Some day down the road, I think so. If it’s true that we find something that is long enough lived. To hold something in your hand, you would need a significant quantity of these atoms. We’ve produced four atoms of Element 115 in a month. It would take you don’t have enough time in the rest of the universe to create enough that you could hold in your hand through these same kinds of production methods (that we are using).
That’s why I say a future technology might allow us advances in terms of how much can be produced and the target material, maybe a better way of producing but somewhere down the road, there might be a possibility, sure (see http://www.intalek.com/Index/News/Element115.htm ).
As to how element 115 is formed, Lazar claimed it is formed in massive stars. In an article he wrote:
“[M]any single star solar systems have stars that are so large that our Sun would appear to be a dwarf by comparison. Keeping all this is mind, it should be obvious that a large, single star system, binary star system, or multiple star system would have had more of the prerequisite mass and electromagnetic energy present during their creations.
Scientists have long theorized that there are potential combinations of protons and neutrons which should provide stable elements with atomic numbers being higher than any which appear on our periodic chart, though none of these heavy elements occur naturally on earth.” http://members.fortunecity.com/groom51/interstellartravel.html
Lazar’s idea that element 115 is formed in stars led to more criticism this time by astronomers and physicists that Lazar was incorrect since stars could not produce heavy metals with atomic numbers greater than iron (atomic number 26) in stable stars. This criticism was raised by Dr David Morgan in 1996 whose critique was kindly sent to me by Stanton Friedman.
Dr Morgan says:
“[Lazar] SEEMS to be suggesting that his element 115, the alien fuel source, which doesn’t exist on the Earth, should be present in those solar systems that were more massive at their inception. The implication here is that a star system which condensed out of a more massive primordial cloud should have a greater abundance of heavier elements.
This is quite incorrect. Heavy elements – all elements heavier than iron – are not formed during the normal life cycles of stars. The only time when these nuclei are “cooked” is during the collapse and subsequent explosion of supernovae.
The supernova explosion then spreads heavy elements throughout the galaxy. For this reason, the abundances of heavy elements in any particular star system depend NOT upon the properties of the current star, but on the properties of the nearby stars of the PREVIOUS GENERATION!
Therefore, all of the star systems in a particular region of the galaxy will have essentially the same abundances of heavy elements, regardless of the mass of star. If element 115 is STABLE, as Lazar claims it to be, then it should be created in supernova explosions and it should exist EVERYWHERE!” (http://www.serve.com/mahood/lazar/critiq.htm).
Dr Morgan’s criticism of Lazar is not supported by recent breakthroughs in understanding the formation of heavy metals in stars.
It has been discovered for example that heavy metals with higher atomic numbers than iron (26) can and are found in stars in their normal cycle rather than just through supernova which was the ‘old understanding’.
A NASA astronomer reflecting on this new theory answers a question concerning the existence of heavy metals with higher atomic metals forming in massive stars and answers:
This new theory has been recently confirmed with the recent discovery of three massive stars that have ‘lead’ (atomic number 82) in them:
“The theory has now been supported by data from the three binary, or “double” stars, studied by French and Belgian astronomers using the European Southern Observatory 3.6 metre telescope at La Silla, Chile.
The process by which some stars develop high concentration of heavy metals such as lead towards the end of their lives is called the ‘slow fusion’ or ‘s-process’ and is described as follows:
“The high abundance of Lead in these otherwise low-metallicity stars also provides detailed clues on how the s-process operates inside the AGB stars. When a Carbon-13 nucleus (i.e. a nucleus with 6 protons and 7 neutrons) is hit by a Helium-4 nucleus (2 protons and 2 neutrons), they fuse to form Oxygen-16 (8 protons and 8 neutrons).
In this process – as can be seen by adding the numbers – one neutron is released. It is estimated that half of all metals heavier than iron are caused by supernova explosions where these are rapidly formed through nuclear fusion (r-process) and the other half in stable stars with low metallicity that slowly build up heavy metals in a more gentle fusion process.
The new understanding of the formation of heavy metals in stars and discovery of large quantities of lead in some stars basically negates Dr Morgan’s criticism and shows that Lazar’s idea that some massive stars in the normal stellar cycle may have element 115 developed in them is a very real possibility.
What are the exopolitical implications of this given Lazar’s claims that extraterrestrials use 115 for their propulsion systems?
If element 115 is naturally formed in the core of some massive stars and element 115 is used in the propulsion system of extraterrestrial races, then it would be fair to assume that some extraterrestrials may have discovered how to mine stars of their heavy elements to use as a propulsion fuel.
Indeed, extraterrestrials with sufficient knowledge in mining suns of element 115 and other elements may be using this as part of an interstellar trade. Indeed, such knowledge and possession of large quantities of 115 and other elements may lead to interstellar conflicts over certain star systems.
Indeed, the Earth’s sun or nearby stars may have heavy elements that may attract extraterrestrial races who seek to mine these precious natural resources. We are now slowly moving to an understanding of how certain star systems might be highly prized by extraterrestrial races that seek to gain control and mine stars of heavy elements such as element 115.
With new advances in physics and astronomy, Bob Lazar’s information so widely dismissed in the early 1990’s appears to have more relevance than ever.
• German scientist Dr Michael Hippke theorizes that the gravity on alien worlds may be so strong that rockets can’t power through their atmospheres. Therefore, if an advanced alien civilization wanted contact another world, i.e.: the Earth, then they would probably fire lasers at us.
• Working with the Sonneberg Observatory in Germany, Dr Hippke has explored the difficulty of spaceflight for inhabitants of distant planets called Super Earths. Scientists have spotted dozens of them outside of our solar system, and many believe they offer our best chance of finding alien life. He showed a rocket on a Super Earth would need to weigh around 444,000 tons due to fuel requirements – about the mass of the Great Pyramid of Giza.
“Many rocky exoplanets are heavier and larger than the Earth, and have higher surface gravity,” Dr Hippke told Space.com.
“This makes space-flight on these worlds very challenging. On more massive planets, spaceflight would be exponentially more expensive.”

• For decades, some very credible sources have been saying that our Moon is not what we think it is, and that there’s also some type of extraterrestrial presence on the Moon.
• Shortly before his death in 2007 at age 89, USAF Colonel Ross Dedrickson who was responsible for maintaining the inventory of the nuclear weapon stockpile for the United States during the 1960’s, revealed that in 1959 the US tried to detonate atomic weapons on the Moon for scientific purposes. This “Project A119” was halted by extraterrestrials who would not allow us to detonate any nuclear weapons in space.
• Dr. Horace Crater, a physicist from the University of Tennessee Space Institute, recently published a paper in the Journal of Space Exploration that identified certain features that appear inside the crater Paracelsus Con the far side of the Moon. The research paper suggests that these features might be artificial in origin, meaning someone other than a human being built them and put them there.
• The Deputy Manager for the Clementine Mission to the Moon in 1995 said it was really a photo reconnaissance mission to check out structures on the far side of the Moon that weren’t put there by humans.
• Ingo Swann and other remote viewers under the government’s Stargate Program reported viewing strange structures and humanoid creatures on the Moon.
• A 2014 paper by Sean C. Solomon, the director of the Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory of Columbia University, relates how after decades of data, they still have no idea about the moons inner core and what it’s comprised of. In his book, Our Occulted History, the late great Jim Marrs had a thing or two to say about Mars. “Studies of moon rocks indicate that the moon’s interior differs from the Earth’s mantle in ways suggesting a very small core or none at all. A 1962 study found the interior of the moon to be less dense that the exterior.”
• Marrs sheds more light on the hollow Moon in Our Occulted History: “The most startling evidence that the moon could be hollow came on November 20, 1969, when the Apollo 12 crew, after returning to their command ship, sent the lunar module ascent stage crashing back onto the moon… The LM struck the surface about forty miles from the Apollo 12 landing site, where super sensitive seismic equipment recorded… [that] the moon reverberated like a bell for more than an hour. Frank Press of MIT stated, “[I]t is quite an extraordinary event. That this rather small impact… produced a signal which lasted 30 minutes is quite beyond the range of our experience.”
• According to Isaac Asimov, an American writer and professor of biochemistry at Boston University, “[The Moon] is too big to have been captured by the Earth. The chances of such a capture having been effected and the Moon then having taken up nearly circular orbit around our Earth are too small to make such an eventuality credible…. [T]he Moon, by rights, ought not to be there.” NASA scientist Robin Brett said,“It’s easier to explain the non-existence for the Moon, than it’s existence.” And Harvard Astrophysicist Irwin Shapiro said, “The best explanation for the Moon is observational error – the Moon doesn’t exist.”
• “[I]t is extremely unlikely that any object would just stumble into the right combination of factors required to stay in orbit. ‘Something’ had to put the moon at its altitude, on its course and at its speed. The question is: what was that ‘something?” – Jim Marrs
• There is actually a considerable amount of evidence that points towards something suspicious happening on the Moon. In 1970, members of the Soviet Academy of Sciences published an article titled, “Is the Moon the Creation of Alien Intelligence?” As Marrs points out, “This circular orbit is especially odd, considering that the moon’s center of mass lies more than a mile closer to the Earth than its geometric center. This fact alone should produce an unstable, wobbly orbit, much as a ball with its mass off-center will not roll in a straight line.”
• In the late 1960’s, William Kenneth Harmann of the Planetary Science Institute proposed that the Moon resulted from a collision between Earth and another body at least the size of Mars. This became known as the ‘Big Whack’ theory, and it correlated to the story told in ancient Sumerian tablets. The Sumarians wrote about a large watery world called Tiamat that was in orbit between Mars and Jupiter 4 billion years ago. The rogue planet, Nibiru, caused Tiamat to split in half. The larger half became the Earth, the smaller became the Moon.

Controversy has surrounded the Moon for a very long time, we have leaks, research, and information from some very credible sources who have, over a span of decades, been relaying to the public that our Moon is not what we think it is, and that there’s also some type of extraterrestrial presence on the Moon.
One example would be the testimony of Colonel Ross Dedrickson, who was responsible for maintaining the inventory of the nuclear weapon stockpile for the United States, he had a long stint with the US Atomic Energy Commission.
Shortly before his passing, Dedrickson told the world that the US tried to detonate atomic weapons on the Moon for scientific purposes, measurements, and whatnot and that this project was halted by extraterrestrials, who would not allow us to detonate any nuclear weapons in space. These were some interesting comments because he is one of the hundreds of high ranking military people who have alluded to such things, and we also have a declassified report by the Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center from June 1959 that shows how seriously they were considering the plan, the report is called Project A119.
We know for a fact that the US wanted to investigate the capability of weapons in space, and if they did, we also know that we would never be told, similar to the testing that goes on here on planet Earth.
Then, we have remote viewers from the STARGATE program who have ‘seen’ strange structures and humanoid creatures on the Moon, like Ingo Swann (from his book, titled Penetration), for example. He wasn’t the only one from the program who did, I have personally had conversations with Dr. Paul Smith, a retired army veteran who spent a decade in that program, he also relayed to me that something strange is happening on the Moon. Many from within that program have been very outspoken about an extraterrestrial presence.
Multiple whistleblowers have also spoken of strange structures on the Moon, and it’s become so obvious that some academicians are trying to do what they can to bring attention to it. For example, a recently published paper in the Journal of Space Exploration about certain features on the far side of the Moon that appear in the crater Paracelsus C. Titled “Image Analysis of Unusual Structures on the Far Side of the Moon in the Crater Paracelsus C,” argues that these features might be artificial in origin, meaning someone other than a human being built them and put them there.

On January 23, Emmy award winning journalist, Linda Moulton Howe, released the video testimony of a new whistleblower discussing his highly classified mission to a large buried structure found in Antarctica. The whistleblower claims that in a classified mission conducted in 2003, he entered inside a very large octagon-shaped structure located near the Beardmore Glacier that extended down deep into the glacier’s icy interior.
The whistleblower is a retired U.S. Navy Seal who was first interviewed by Howe on July 19, 2018. He used the pseudonym Spartan 1 in Howe’s YouTube video where his face is shadowed out and his voice is altered to protect his identity. Howe says that she personally vetted Spartan 1, who provided ample documentation to substantiate his military career.
Previously, Howe has released the testimony of another military whistleblower, Brian, who was a Navy flight engineer who had flown numerous support missions with the Antarctic Development Squadron from 1983 to 1997. He witnessed a number of anomalies pointing to hidden facilities or bases located deep under the Antarctic ice sheets. He says he witnessed silver flying discs over the Transantarctic Mountains, not all that far, as Howe pointed out, from where the Navy Seal had conducted his mission.
The Navy Seal says that ground penetrating radar had discovered the structure which was an eight-sided octagon, as Howe elaborated:
In 2003, a U.S. Navy Seal Special Operation team traveled to Antarctica to investigate a perfectly geometric 8-sided octagon structure discovered by ground penetrating radar near Beardmore Glacier, about 93 miles from the American McMurdo Station.
Another previous team of engineers and scientists had dug out the top layer of one octagon made of a pure black substance that was built on top of two more black octagonal structures that went down deep into the 2-mile-thick ice.
In the video the Navy Seal (aka Spartan 1) described the launch of his mission from an aircraft carrier voyaging near West Antarctica’s Ross Sea. He was taken by helicopter to McMurdo station, the largest U.S. base in Antarctica, and then taken by ground transport to the structure’s location.
Spartan 1 described entering a doorway approximately 50 feet under the ice. He estimated the walls of the structure as about 18 to 30 feet thick (6-10 meters) and the ceiling height at around 22-28 feet (7-9 meters). He said that the walls, ceiling and floor were made of a black basalt material that looked like shiny black marble.
The interior was heated to around 68-72 degrees Fahrenheit (20-22 Celsius), and was also lighted by a lime green source projected from the ceiling and floor. He did not see any heating or lighting equipment, which added to the mystery of the buried structure.
Only part of the structure, he stated, has been uncovered so far by the archeological teams, with the rest buried under the ice and extending far below. Ground penetrating radar had shown the structure to be an Octagon in shape, and covering an area of 62 acres (about 0.5 square kilometers).
Spartan 1 described the walls and doors as being covered by hieroglyphs that were about eight inches (20 cm) high and about two inches (5 cm) deep. The hieroglyphs were neither Egyptian nor Mayan, but appeared similar to both in terms of depicting animals and other strange symbols.

Significantly, one of the symbols was very similar to the Black Sun image used by the Nazi SS, who had a large version of it built on the floor of their headquarters at Wewelsburg Castle. The Black Sun image continues to be banned in Germany under their Nazi propaganda law. Howe said future episodes featuring Spartan 1 will return to the Black Sun symbol.

Spartan 1 explained that part of his mission was to transport scientists who would document the buried structure and the hieroglyphic symbols, by taking photos and making drawings. He said that his team had to leave one of the scientists behind who insisted that more time was needed to do a proper inventory of what was discovered.
Spartan 1 was told and believed that the structure had been built by a human looking group of extraterrestrials, who were involved in the genetic engineering of humanity.
Spartan 1’s testimony is very significant since it provides a rare eyewitness account of what is actually inside one of the buried structures whose age stretches back into antiquity. Howe’s previous Antarctica eyewitness, Brian, did not actually get to see or go inside one of the artifacts. The closest he got was when he saw a large hole going deep inside the South Pole, while flying overhead through restricted airspace.
To date, only two other whistleblowers/insiders have come forward to share their accounts of being taken inside or witnessing the ancient artifacts buried deep under Antarctica’s ice sheets. These are Corey Goode and Pete Peterson who both say they witnessed some of the buried artifacts during their respective visits there.
Goode claims to have been taken to Antarctica in early 2016 and 2017, where he saw secret bases and the remains of an ancient civilization buried deep below the ice sheets. He says he witnessed some bodies of human alien hybrids who were part of the genetic experiments conducted by a tall human looking extraterrestrial race thousands of years ago. He described three very large motherships buried under the ice that were used to start a global civilization with Antarctica as a hub.
Peterson says that he was taken to Antarctica during classified missions where he was tasked with the job of understanding the advanced technologies found near three motherships, one or more of which he witnessed during his missions. Peterson’s testimony corroborates Goode’s account of an ancient extraterrestrial base that was used as a hub for a global civilization.
This raises some intriguing questions. Was the Black Sun symbol a pictorial representation of an ancient global civilization where the South Pole was the hub with spirals going out to its distant colonies? In the book, Antarctica’s Hidden History, I present evidence that German nationalists using the black sun symbol established a colony in Antarctica, where they built spacecraft for deep space colonization.
According to Howe’s analysis, the structure witnessed by Spartan 1 dates as far back as 33 million years, which is the general date conventional geologists give for when Antarctica was last ice free. In Antarctica’s Hidden History, contrary evidence is presented that Antarctica was ice free as recently as 11,700 years ago, which is the approximate date for the destruction of Atlantis according to Plato. This raises the question, “how old are the ruins being currently discovered in Antarctica?”
Spartan 1’s independent testimony corroborates important elements of what Goode and Peterson described, and what others claim lies hidden under the frozen continent. As more of Spartan 1’s testimony is released through Howe’s video series, we may get important answers to questions about what lies hidden deep below the Antarctic ice sheets
Laura Magdalene Eisenhower, great granddaughter of President Dwight Eisenhower, claims that from April 2006 to January 2007, she and a friend were the targets of a covert recruitment effort to be taken to a future Mars colony to escape imminent catastrophic earth events. Laura Eisenhower says that despite her repeated refusals, she was subjected to different forms of pressure by individuals associated with the Mars colony project, the head of which she claimed was famed physicist, Dr. Hal Puthoff.
Puthoff’s involvement in an alleged Mars colony recruitment project that targeted Eisenhower and her friend takes on particular significance with the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) releasing a list of 38 Defense Intelligence Reference Documents (DIRD) studying the feasibility of exotic propulsion and energy technologies. The DIA documents date back to 2007 when funding was first made available for the creation of the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP) through the Senate Majority Leader at the time, Harry Reid.
It’s more than coincidental that Eisenhower and her friend’s experiences overlapped with the beginning of the AATIP program, which funded advanced propulsion technology studies with the $22 million provided by the U.S. Congress. The money was sent to the Bigelow Aerospace Advanced Space Studies (BAASS), which in turn funded studies by researchers and their affiliated institutions.
The most prominent of these was EarthTech International which was founded by Puthoff in Austin, Texas with a focus on exotic technology research as explained on their website:

We strive to translate these ideas into laboratory experiments.
Senator Reid’s decision to fund AATIP, the prominent role of Robert Bigelow (billionaire founder of BAASS) in directing the funding to research institutions such as EarthTech International, suggest that there was a shared interest among Reid, Bigelow and Puthoff in the idea of establishing a Mars colony to survive future cataclysmic Earth events.
According to Eisenhower’s testimony, which appears in interviews and an extensive online report released in February 2010, the planned Mars colony needed her and others to seed the colony which would survive the predicted cataclysms. She became romantically involved with an Agent X [whose identity she wishes to withhold for his protection] in April 2006, who was the key intermediary in the recruitment effort.
Agent X was closely associated with Puthoff’s EarthTech International, as Eisenhower explained:
Regarding the group he [Agent X] mentioned, he believed that he had joined a sort of thinktank, an investigative group, which was also working on creating a mission to Mars. He kept telling me of the cataclysms that were coming and that this was something we were special to be involved in.
Agent X very much thought that the people he was dealing with were good guys and his physicist adviser [Dr. Hal Puthoff] was his hero because of the zero point energy, remote viewing stuff he was involved in. He tried to get me excited, saying that we had a chance to escape the disaster.
It should be noted that Puthoff is widely credited with establishing the remote viewing program at Stanford Research Institute that received funding from the DIA and the U.S. intelligence community from 1970 up to 1994, when the DIA decided to stop funding for reasons best explained by the veteran remote viewer, Joseph McMoneagle.
Eisenhower says that her family bloodline and metaphysical connection to a “Christ-Sophia” archetype of feminine energy, made her and her young twin sons highly desirable recruits for the launch of the future Mars colony. She was subsequently targeted in an elaborate honeypot operation involving an Agent X:
It just did not sit well with me, but he wouldn’t talk further, and I just hoped it would all fade away as our love would become much more important. At this time, I had no idea the power they had over him, or that they were even using anything on him to keep him as an agent and almost a servant to their mission. I was blinded by love too, and I just wanted to not think about it till it came up again. I later found out that they had sent him to find me….
The agency that sent him to find me, or the other groups he was involved in who held my story in their awareness for many lifetimes, I wasn’t sure who he was speaking on behalf of regarding Sophia or my boys – because I believed I was a person of interest for the agency and was recruited to Mars because of my Eisenhower bloodline. I suppose the reasons were both.
Direct corroboration for Eisenhower’s claims comes from a former friend, Ki’ Lia, who was similarly targeted in the Mars recruitment effort, and eventually wrote about it in a detailed online report called “2012 Earth Timelines and the Secret Mars Agenda” that was released around the same time of Eisenhower’s report in February 2010.
Especially important was an extensive number of research papers that Eisenhower and Ki’ Lia say they were given access to by the Mars colony team headed by Dr. Puthoff. Ki’ Lia wrote:
I was sent for review many scientific documents about the key technology components:
propellantless propulsion or faster-than-light warp drive
plasma ion fusion
ultraconductors
As well as regarding:
vehicle design, land, air and aquatic robotic rovers
artificial intelligence
advanced communications and knowledge transfer
architectural compositions and other capacities to terraform and replenish life on Mars
I also was asked to look into other aerospace academies, virtual reality, psychotronic weapons, invisible shielding and a whole spectrum of exotic, quantum access technologies.
What is remarkable here is the number of advanced technology topics she mentioned in her 2010 report that match many of the studies in the list of 38 Defense Intelligence Reference Documents (DIRD) released eight years later in 2018.
Even more significant is that six of the 38 DIRD papers identified in the DIA list had as their primary authors scientists affiliated with EarthTech International.
The six papers with EarthTech International scientists as primary authors deal with a variety of energy and propulsion systems associated with space travel in general. These topics would be critical for future Mars missions and establishing a colony there.
The EarthTech papers in the DIA list are identified with the security marking UNCLASSIFIED/FOR OFFICIAL USE ONLY, along with the name of the lead author and where they appear in the sequence of 38 documents:

Consequently, out of the three papers that have been publicly released in their entirety, all list EarthTech scientists as first or second authors. We do not know if EarthTech scientists were involved in the remaining 31 documents since the DIA list only shows the first author. It is expected that further FOIA requests will lead to the release of all the unclassified documents on the list.
Of the seven DIRD documents authored by Earth Tech scientists, five of them deal with spacecraft and propulsion, while two deal with extracting energy from a vacuum. These would be highly desirable research areas to develop breakthroughs in order to establish a Mars colony as Eisenhower and Ki’Lia claimed.
Was EarthTech really intent on developing concepts for a future Mars colony, or merely creating a cover for an already existent Mars colony seeking new recruits from Earth?
Both Eisenhower and Ki’ Lia were unsure as to what the real agenda was in the covert effort to recruit them for a planned Mars colony, and they raised a number of possibilities in their respective reports.
There has been an extensive number of whistleblowers and insiders who have spoken about secret Mars bases and colonies already in existence by 2006. These include Corey Goode, Henry Deacon, Andrew Basiago, Michael Relfe and others. If they are correct, as I have concluded elsewhere, then it becomes clear that EarthTech was not really intending on their DIA reference documents being used to build propulsion technologies for a future Mars colony.
Goode in fact has said that the Mars colonies routinely use deception to attract Earth based recruits who are promised a futurist luxurious lifestyle on Mars, but instead are subjected to slave labor conditions soon after their arrival. Eisenhower had independently concluded that this would indeed have been the fate awaiting her two sons and her, along with Ki’Lia, if they had gone through with the recruitment process:
Over time the Mars issue became louder and louder. Ki’-Lia and he were working on plans to make this mission happen, but she realized his plans were dubious based on my observations and could only try to investigate more. She and I would talk more and more, and I would fill her in on my observations. I had dreams and premonitions that something was way off, and in one dream I got taken up by chains into a ship and a voice told me I had to make a choice about being with them or staying on Earth – and that they wouldn’t harm me but they would certainly control me.
Based on Eisenhower and Ki’ Lia’s reports, there appears to have been multiple purposes in the use of the DIRD papers prepared by EarthTech, and other exotic technology papers published over the years in a variety academic journals.
One was to use the 38 AATIP papers as a cover for exotic propulsion and energy technologies that had already been covertly developed by private industry, and were being used in secret space programs, and manned bases or colonies on the Moon and Mars. It should be noted that the $22 million provided in funds for the DIRD studies and related AATIP programs was the proverbial drop in the bucket for funding an actual Mars colony program. Thus AATIP was being used as a cover for an actual Mars colony program that was accepting recruits for new bases or colonies due to predicted Earth cataclysms makes a lot of sense.
A second purpose was to lure recruits to an already existing Mars colony by promising them a means of evacuating Earth prior to cataclysmic changes. As Eisenhower and Ki’ Lia suspected, and as Goode independently confirmed, the future Mars colony recruitment effort was a deception that would have drawn them into an already existing program, where they would have been ruthlessly exploited.
A third purpose was ritual based magic as Eisenhower, her twin sons and Ki’ Lia were viewed as archetypal representations of divine feminine energies and the mythical founders of Rome, Romulus and Remus. Basically, Mars was to become a new Rome from which imperial space power would be projected throughout the solar system, and beyond. In 2007, Richard Hoagland and Mike Bara exposed how ritual based magic is a prominent part of NASA missions, thereby suggesting that a similar process occurs in secret space programs.
Finally, the six EarthTech papers, along with the other 32 papers identified in the DIRD list, had the purpose of getting white world scientists and the general public up to speed on some of the technologies that have already been developed and are being used in secret space programs. This, according to Goode, was the reason why he was given two of the 38 DIA documents, as previously discussed, and released them to the general public.
The recent confirmation by the Defense Intelligence Agency of a list of 38 reference documents, corroborates key elements of Eisenhower and Ki’ Lia’s controversial claims about being targets for a covert recruitment project for a Mars colony. The EarthTech International research papers they were shown as part of this process closely matched topics covered in the DIRD papers funded by Reid and the U.S. Congress, through Robert Bigelow’s BAASS.
The concerns raised by Eisenhower and Ki Lia in their respective reports about the Mars recruitment effort and the role played by Puthoff’s EarthTech International appear to be valid. This requires further investigation of the role played by Puthoff, Davis, Reid and Bigelow in developing exotic technology ideas to escape predicted Earth cataclysms, and/or being involved in finding recruits for a covert Mars Colony program.
On January 16, 2019, the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) responded to a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request and confirmed that a list of 38 papers examining exotic propulsion technologies is genuine. The FOIA request was made from the anti-secrecy group the Federation of American Scientists (FAS), which filed it on August 15, 2018 and later issued a website update describing the documents received from the DIA.
From 2007 to 2012, the DIA spent $22 million on the activity, formally known as the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program… Yesterday, the DIA released a list of 38 research titles funded by the program, many of which are highly conjectural and well beyond the boundaries of current science, engineering — or military intelligence. One such title, “Traversable Wormholes, Stargates, and Negative Energy,” was prepared by Dr. Eric Davis, who has also written on “psychic teleportation.”
Aftergood’s original letter to the DIA had asked for information concerning “a copy of the list that was recently transmitted to Congress of all DIA products produced under the Advanced Aerospace Threat and Identification Program [AATIP] contract”.
The DIA released a document with five pages, which included a January 9, 2018 letter by the DIA to Senators John McCain and Jack Read, the Chair and Ranking Member of the Senate Armed Services Committee. In the letter the DIA provided a list of 38 reports in response to the requests of the respective staffs of Armed Service Committee leaders. The DIA letter stated:
There are 38 reports associated with DIA’s involvement on the program documented in the list. All are UNCLASSIFIED/ FOR OFFICIAL USE ONLY except for attachment 37 which is a SECRET/NOFORN version of attachment 38 State of the Art and Evolution of High Energy Laser Weapons.
In June, physicist Hal Puthoff made the first public presentation about the UFO study. He was the chief scientist for BAASS (Bigelow Aerospace Advanced Space Studies), the Las Vegas company which won a Pentagon contract to study UFOs and related mysteries.
In his presentation, Puthoff listed the subjects explored in dozens of scientific studies initiated by BAASS: Star Trek worthy topics — warp drive, invisibility, metamaterials but the titles and authors have not been released — until now. The list made public for the first time includes subjects such as worm holes, antigravity and how to track hypersonic vehicles, and more….Puthoff said his group has studied unknown materials recovered from crash sites.
So far three of the papers on the 38 documents list have been leaked to the public. The first two were leaked by Corey Goode who was given the papers by a Washington DC insider, apparently within the DIA, who said they would help him open up the public to the truth of his secret space program testimony.
Goode described being given a number of documents, two of which were from the list of 38 that the DIA officially disclosed. Goode was told: “This series of unclassified DIA documents are said to be used to slowly “read in” certain people in the DOD/DIA to Special Access Programs.”
In his numerous interviews and articles, Goode has frequently referred to some of the advanced technologies described in the DIA papers, wormholes, warp drive, etc. The two papers leaked by Goode were therefore important corroboration for some of the exotic propulsion technologies he claimed had been actually developed by major defense contractors, and were in widespread use in secret space programs.
In an earlier article, I described how Dr. Eric Davis had confirmed the two papers leaked by Goode were authored by him. He was thoroughly puzzled over how they had been leaked into the public arena. The point Davis made was that only a genuine Washington DC insider could have had access to the documents and released them. Essentially, Davis was confirming that Goode’s DIA/Washington DC insider was authentic.
In addition, UFO activist Mike Waskosky has provided the first detailed account of Goode’s role in being the first to release the two DIA papers, and the response of different UFO researchers to this development given widespread disbelief among them over Goode’s credibility as a witness.
The DIA’s FOIA response now makes it official. The two papers first leaked by Goode are among the list of 38 that had been commissioned by the AATIP program in 2007, under its former name of Advanced Aerospace Weapon System Applications Program. The DIA’s FOIA release has therefore provided important corroboration for a key aspect of Corey Goode’s testimony; that he was chosen as a conduit for information about secret space programs to be first revealed to the general public.
Goode’s possession and release of the first two of the 38 advanced propulsion studies goes a long way to establishing his bona fides as an insider with accurate information about multiple secret space programs.
As a DIA FOIA officer lamented in responding to Aftergood, the DIA anticipated further FOIA requests for all 38 Defense Intelligence Reference Documents. Not only will this add a further layer of corroboration for Goode’s DIA/Washington insider source, it will provide greater insight into the Warp Drive, traversable wormhole and other kinds of exotic technologies that he claims are being currently used in multiple secret space programs.

“The DIA list of research papers, marked for Official Use Only, was previously provided to Congress in January 2018. On January 16, the head of Harvard University’s astronomy department, Prof. Abraham Loeb, gave an interview where he defended his controversial paper that the interstellar object detected by a Hawaii based telescope on October 19, 2017, and named “Oumuamua”, was a spacecraft of some kind. While astronomers continue to debate the scant scientific data gleaned from telescopes to determine Oumuamua’s origins and nature, a whistleblower/insider’s report of an alleged covert space mission to Oumuamua that acquired much scientific data after landing on it is being ignored.
While astronomers might be forgiven for ignoring insider/whistleblower reports of covert missions to artifacts in the solar system due to a lack of corroborating scientific data, political scientists interested in space affairs, which falls under the rubrics of “astropolitics” or “exopolitics”, do not have such a luxury. Insiders/whistleblowers provide a rare glimpse into the rarified world of highly classified compartmentalized projects and therefore their claims need to be investigated since corroborating evidence may be absent due to the classification process, rather than being non-existent. If found to be credible insider/whistleblower claims need to be analyzed with regard to available scientific data as outlined in a 2014 paper published in the Astropolitics Journal.
Before examining the alleged covert mission that landed on Oumuamau, it’s worth reviewing what astronomers have said about it to date.
In a TED talk published on July 19, 2018, the astrobiologist, Dr. Karen J. Meech, discussed what was known about Oumuamua which was given the formal designation of 1I/2017 U1. She explained the excitement of astronomers who had long awaited the arrival of the first object from another solar system. They initially gave it the informal name of Rama, after the derelict spacecraft depicted in Arthur C. Clark’s 1973 novel, Rendezvous with Rama that was spotted after passing close by the Earth.
Meech explained in her TED talk that this was not deemed suitable. As will be later explained, the name Rama was in fact very appropriate given how a secret space program organized a landing mission.
Given that the interstellar object was discovered from the Pan-STARRS telescope on Haleakala Observatory on the Hawaiian island of Maui, two Hawaii culture experts were consulted. They named it Oumuamua – Hawaiian for “scout or messenger from distant past reaching out to us”. The images taken by the Hubble and Pan-STARRS telescopes were quite faint, so not much could be learned about Oumuamua’s geometry and composition.
Nevertheless, the initial artist depiction was of it being a long-cigar shaped object that was turning and rolling along its interstellar orbital path as though violently ejected from some distant stellar event that occurred in the remote past.
What really attracted scientific attention was when Oumuamua accelerated as it approached the sun according to data provided by the Hubble telescope in June 2018.
While acceleration is normal for comets that have long icy tails which ignite thereby propelling the comet forward, Oumuamua was no comet. Somehow the sun’s solar energy appeared to be accelerating Oumuamua.
This led to Prof. Loeb and his colleague from the Harvard Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics, Dr. Shmuel Bialy, speculating that Oumuamua may have contained a solar sail and was therefore being charged up and accelerating as it received the solar energy. They presented their conjecture in a paper titled, “Could Solar Radiation Pressure Explain Oumuamua’s Peculiar Acceleration?” and wrote:
Considering an artificial origin, one possibility is that ‘Oumuamua is a lightsail, floating in interstellar space as a debris from an advanced technological equipment… The lightsail technology might be abundantly used for transportation of cargo between planets … or between stars…In the former case, dynamical ejection from a planetary System could result in space debris of equipment that is not operational any more … and is floating at the characteristic speed of stars relative to each other in the Solar neighborhood. This would account for the various anomalies of ‘Oumuamua, such as the unusual geometry inferred from its lightcurve … its low thermal emission, suggesting high reflectivity … and its deviation from a Keplerian orbit … without any sign of a cometary tail … or spin-up torques …
Bialy and Loeb went on to offer an even more exotic explanation that Oumuamua is an interstellar probe that is basically at rest relative to other stars in our local stellar cluster:
Alternatively, a more exotic scenario is that ‘Oumuamua may be a fully operational probe sent intentionally to Earth vicinity by an alien civilization…. This discrepancy is readily solved if ‘Oumuamua does not follow a random trajectory but is rather a targeted probe. Interestingly, ‘Oumuamua’s entry velocity is found to be extremely close to the velocity of the Local Standard of Rest, in a kinematic region that is occupied by less than 1 to 500 stars.
In his January 16 interview Loeb elaborated on the idea of Oumuamua being a kind of interstellar probe or buoy powered by solar sails that once monitored space traffic in our local region of the galaxy:
“If you average the velocities of all the stars in the region … you get a system that’s called the ‘local standard of rest.’ Oumuamua was at rest relative to that system. It didn’t come to us. It waited in place, like a buoy on the surface of the ocean, until the ‘ship’ of the solar system ran into it. To make things clear, only one of 500 stars in the system is as much at rest as Oumuamua…
Loeb in his interview explains that he and his colleague Bialy are not the only astronomers questioning whether Oumuamua is an extraterrestrial spacecraft, but they are reluctant to publicly state their opinions given the paucity of data gleaned from the Pan-STARRS and Hubble telescopes.
What would greatly surprise Loeb and other astronomers is that much more scientific data about Oumuamua has been gathered, but this had been classified at a very high level of national security.
According to Corey Goode, who claims to have worked on multiple secret space programs, he watched a video recording of a covert landing mission to Oumuamua conducted by an alliance of these programs that first observed it prior to its entry into our solar system. This is particularly significant given that Oumoamoa’s “official” discovery on October 19, 2017, was after it had passed the sun and was flying past Earth on the outbound portion of its interstellar journey.
Goode’s credibility as a genuine insider was recently given a dramatic boost with confirmation of two Defense Intelligence Reference Documents (DIRD) dealing with “warp drives” and “traversable wormholes” that he was the first to publicly release in late 2017. The documents showed the scientific feasibility of advanced propulsion technologies that Goode had claimed were used in secret space programs.
The two documents were part of a list of 38 “Unclassified: For Official Use Only” documents that the Defense Intelligence Agency confirmed as authentic on January 16, 2019 in response to a Freedom of Information Act request by the Federation of American Scientists.
The recent confirmation of Goode’s leaked DIRD documents means that his testimony about Oumuamua cannot be simply dismissed out of hand, and is well worth considering by astronomers seeking answers to Oumuamua’s origin and composition.
In January 2018, Goode provided a detailed description of what he saw in a video shown to him and others attending a briefing concerning recent covert space activities. Goode wrote about what he witnessed along with the explanation by a former USAF officer [Sigmund] participating in the briefing:
The person leading the meeting then brought our attention to a large smart-glass pad monitor that was lowering from the ceiling. Sigmund then stood up and said “I have a treat for the both of you.” He walked up to the monitor and stared at it while talking. He stated that they had been monitoring what appeared to be a derelict space craft that was headed towards our Sol System.
This would prove to be the same cigar-shaped “asteroid” that NASA and the mainstream media dubbed Oumuamua, and publicized widely in this same time frame.
Goode next explained what he was told about secret space mission sent to observe and land on Oumuamua:
Sigmund puffed up proudly and stated, “I led an expedition to see who this craft belonged to. Wait until you hear what we found.” Suddenly we started seeing all sorts of readings and telemetry on the monitor. I could also hear what sounded like an old NASA radio transmission. There were beeps along with a pilot calling in positions of his craft, as well as the one he was trying to dock with. That lasted for about five minutes as I saw the two craft spiraling closer and closer together.
As the pilot matched the spin of the object they were approaching, you could see a long cigar-shaped structure that had shiny patches of what looked like ice on the outside. It was obviously made of stone, and looked as if it had been through many meteor showers and collisions. The video broke to a scene where a few people who were suited up in space suits were pushing themselves through what looked like a bored-out hole going down into the rock.

Goode also described what secret space program astronauts found when entering inside Oumuamua:
The shuttle had docked with the mystery vessel close to what looked like a metallic oval dome, which was sitting about a third of the way down its fuselage. It appeared to have been breached many times, and was full of holes and dents from obvious impacts. In the next scene, you could see the men in a weightless environment, with lights on their chests, helmets and the tops of their wrists. They split up and were talking to each other through the communications systems in their suits.
One of them was chipping samples out of the icy residue on the floors and walls. This same frozen, organic sludge was on the outside of the ship as well. It appeared like foamy, dirty lake water that had been frozen. The ship was obviously very ancient. It had been boarded and stripped of technology many times by unknown races.
Sigmund stated that when they tested the sludge later, they determined that it was partly the remains of the original crew. There were many panels removed from the walls, ceilings and floors, leaving empty compartments where technology was once located.
Goode went on to describe the discovery of preserved bodies of former crew members, the identity of an ancient extraterrestrial race they belonged to, the craft being trapped in orbit for millions of years, and a hieroglyphic language found inside the craft.
All this might sound incredible to astronomers relying on the scant data provided by the two telescopes that observed Oumuamua from a great distance. Goode’s release of DIA documents showing the feasibility of advanced propulsion systems such as warp drives, gives a degree of credibility to his claim that a covert space mission to Oumuamua was conducted and recorded on video.
It is certain that the video Goode witnessed has been shown to many scientists with need to know inside the covert world of secret space programs. The similarity of Goode’s account with what Clark described in Rendezvous with Rama is extraordinary. Perhaps Prof. Loeb and Dr. Bialy may have been made aware of such extraordinary information and are presenting their Oumoumou spacecraft hypothesis to open the minds of incredulous colleagues . Eventually, such classified data will be revealed to give a much more accurate and fuller picture of objects such as Oumuamua entering or inside our solar system, and the classified missions to these conducted by multiple secret space programs.
On January 11, one of the world’s top science journals, Nature, reported an unexpected acceleration in the movement of the Earth’s magnetic poles that has required an immediate update of the World Magnetic Model used for global navigation by ships at sea, Google Maps and smartphones. Scientists have speculated that the unexpected acceleration is due to “liquid iron sloshing within the planet’s core”, and that in the case of the north magnetic pole, the likely culprit was a “high-speed jet of liquid iron beneath Canada moving the pole towards Siberia”.
Importantly, scientists widely agree that the acceleration in the movement of the magnetic poles points to something very unusual happening in the Earth’s outer core which is filled with a nickel-iron alloy surrounding a solid inner core of iron. In part 2 of this series of articles investigating issues raised by Ben Davidson in his Earth Catastrophe Cycle video series, I discussed a CIA document authored by a geologist, Chan Thomas, that was only declassified in 2013. Thomas hypothesized that the inner core of the Earth, behaves just like a star in terms of emitting plasma or “neutral matter” in periodic bursts every few thousand years into the outer core, thereby triggering both magnetic and geophysical pole shifts.
In part 1, I examined evidence of solar flash (aka micronova) events in history, and the prospects for one recurring in the near future. This raises the possibility of the connection of some kind between solar flash events and “neutral matter” eruptions that occur deep inside the Earth’s core. In this article, I examine whether high energy cosmic rays from outside our solar system are the trigger mechanism for both solar flashes and neutral matter eruptions that lead to pole shifts.
It’s important to first point out that the accelerated movement of the magnetic poles is happening at a time when the Earth’s magnetic field is weakening and the Solar Minimum (low sunspot activity) have both made the planet more susceptible than ever to cosmic rays.
Cosmic rays are the atomic nuclei of hydrogen, helium and larger molecules that have been stripped of their electrons. They have been generated from galactic events such as supernova and quasars, and travel throughout the universe at almost the speed of light.
While our sun also generates cosmic rays, it is the cosmic rays from the galactic core that carry the most energy as they penetrate deep into our solar system, into our sun, and finally into the Earth’s interior.
Cosmic rays are impacting both the Earth and the sun with increasing impact because the energy shield created by the solar wind is at its weakest level as a result of the current solar minimum. Some scientific models predict the solar minimum will continue until October 2020, and may even stretch out into a grand solar minimum lasting until 2070, during which time humanity witnesses a mini-ice age similar to the Maunder Minimum that occurred from 1645 to 1715.
Scientists have for decades tracked solar and cosmic ray activity and confirmed that cosmic rays peak during solar minima as shown in the following diagram.

The intensity of cosmic rays impacting our solar system and the Earth depends largely on the strength of the solar wind generated by our sun which acts as a shield as explained by NASA:
Our first line of defense is the sun: The sun’s magnetic field and solar wind combine to create a porous ‘shield’ that fends off cosmic rays attempting to enter the solar system. The shielding action of the sun is strongest during Solar Maximum and weakest during Solar Minimum.
NASA studies have confirmed that cosmic rays, during a solar minimum increase the radiation exposure of astronauts thereby shortening the time they can spend in Earth orbit.
It is worth emphasizing that cosmic rays typically are either deflected by the Earth’s magnetic field (magnetic field) or attracted by the field towards the polar regions where most of the world’s cosmic ray detectors have been assembed.
Studies have shown the Earth’s magnetic field, which acts as the second line of defense against cosmic rays, as well as being a shield against the solar wind, has been steadily weakening throughout the 20th century. Since the year 2000, however, the weakening has dramatically increased as illustrated in the following image provided by Davidson in his Earth Catastrophe Cycle series.

The weakening of the magnetic field has led to some scientists concluding that this is a prelude to a magnetic pole flip.
In 2014 Rune Florberghagen, the mission manager of the European Space Agency’s Swarm project, confirmed that the Earth’s magnetic field was weakening 10 times faster than normal, and that this was a sign of a future magnetic pole flip. Florberghagen said that this “would take many hundred if not a few thousand years…. They have happened many times in the past.”
However, other scientists studying paleomagnetic data cut the time dramatically in Florberghagen’s estimate. A Berkeley University study said that the pole flip could happen in less than a century, anytime during our life-time.
The dramatic weakening of the magnetic field means that fewer cosmic rays are being deflected, and more of these have been absorbed into the Earth, especially at the polar regions where the magnetic field lines attract cosmic rays into the North and South magnetic poles.
This raises important questions about what scientists have recently discovered about the unexpected acceleration in the movement of the magnetic poles, and what we know about the increasing influence of cosmic rays during a solar minimum that may extend well beyond the projected 2020 start of solar cycle 25.
First, are cosmic rays entering the Earth’s magnetic field at the polar regions penetrating deep into the Earth’s interior, thereby impacting the molten outer core in some way? Second, were cosmic rays recently detected coming out of Antarctica, in any way related to the “neutral matter” eruptions described by Chad Thomas? Finally, were the mysterious seismic global waves detected on November 11, 2018, in any way related to neutral matter eruptions from the core, and/or cosmic rays?
Are Cosmic Rays Affecting the Earth’s Interior?
The widespread assumption about cosmic rays is that these are absorbed by the Earth’s atmosphere as they impact air molecules, which in turn are rapidly accelerated and impact other molecules in cascade effect as the following diagram illustrates.

Several studies have shown, for example, that cosmic rays impact cloud formation leading to greater cloud covers during solar minima.
While the energy of cosmic rays is absorbed by other particles when they collide in the Earth’s atmosphere, these “cascade particles” take on the momentum and energy of the cosmic rays and reach the Earth’s surface, and along with surviving cosmic rays, penetrate into the Earth’s crust extending the cascade effect deep into the earth’s mantle and eventually reaching the core.
Sub-atomic particles which are created as a byproduct of the collision of cosmic rays and air molecules, such as muons and neutrinos, more easily penetrate into the Earth’s mantle and core due to their smaller cross section.
The impact of cosmic rays through their cascading effect can be visualized as a shotgun blast that carries the energy of the primary cosmic rays deep into the Earth’s interior through “cascade particles” and their sub-atomic byproducts.
The penetration of cosmic rays into the Earth’s surface has had the effect of triggering seismic activity and volcanic eruptions, as confirmed by a team of four Japanese scientists. In a June 2011 study of 11 volcanic eruptions titled “Explosive volcanic eruptions triggered by cosmic rays”, the scientists found that cosmic rays were a factor in triggering nine of the eruptions:
It is well known that the cosmic-ray flux is negatively correlated with solar magnetic activity, as the strong magnetic field in the solar wind repels charged particles such as galactic cosmic rays that originate from outside of the solar system. The strong negative correlation observed between the timing of silica-rich eruptions and solar activity can be explained by variations in cosmic-ray flux arising from solar modulation.
The Japanese study confirms that cosmic rays, through their cascade effect, do have an influence inside the Earth’s interior. The critical question is: “how deep into the Earth’s interior do cosmic rays penetrate?”
Studies show that the energy transmitted by cosmic rays can be carried deep into the Earth’s interior:
During solar minimum high energy cosmic radiation can penetrate to a very deep distance below the Earth’s surface, in some case a few hundred kilometers. This is the reason why most if not all earthquakes during solar minimum are deep earthquakes.
This takes me back to Chan Thomas and his claim that the Earth’s core periodically releases “neutral matter” every few thousand years, and that the sun experiences a solar flash in a similar millennia long cycle. Cosmic rays have the capacity to not only interact with the sun in a way that ultimately triggers a micronova, but they also interact with the Earth’s core in a way that triggers the emission of “neutral matter” as Thomas’ book claims.
If the Earth’s core is being stimulated by cosmic rays into emitting neutral matter in analogous manner to a Coronal Mass Ejection by the sun, is there any evidence of this occurring? The most compelling sign would be if the Earth’s core, like the sun, was observed to be emitting cosmic rays. Indeed, this has occurred with cosmic ray detectors discovering cosmic rays coming out of the Earth, rather than penetrating into it.
Cosmic rays observed to be coming out of Antarctica were first detected in January 2007 when the Antarctic Impulsive Transient Antenna (ANITA) balloon experiment began, as explained by the science writer, Emma Fiala:
Using sensors, ANITA began detecting high energy neutrinos interacting with the ice sheet below….During ANITA’s time in the Antarctic, it detected never before seen “upward-pointing cosmic-ray-like events.” The rays detected had horizontal planes of polarization, which may suggest they didn’t originate in space.
Cosmic rays coming out of the Antarctic ice sheets were observed again by ANITA in December 2016 and sparked intense scientific speculation over whether a new type of particle had been discovered. This led to a team of scientists at Penn State University studying the ANITA data, and on September 25, 2018, releasing released their report about the anomalous 2007 and 2016 events which was published on the scholarly archive, arxiv.org:
The ANITA collaboration have reported observation of two anomalous events that appear to be εcr≈0.6 EeV cosmic ray showers emerging from the Earth with exit angles of 27∘ and 35∘, respectively…. We explore here whether “beyond the Standard Model” (BSM) particles are required to explain the ANITA events, if correctly interpreted, and conclude that they are. Seeking confirmation or refutation of the physical phenomenon of sub-EeV Earth-emergent cosmic rays in data from other facilities, we find support for the reality of the ANITA events, and three candidate analog events, among the Extremely High Energy Northern Track neutrinos of the IceCube Neutrino Observatory.
It should be noted that on both January 2007 and December 2016, the sunspot numbers were respectively at or near the solar minimum for sunspot activity. Consequently, it should be noted that at the same time as cosmic rays were peaking as they were coming into our solar system due to minimal solar activity, that Cosmic-like rays were observed to be coming out of the Earth.
This is consistent with the earlier observation that cosmic rays were penetrating deep into the Earth and triggering the neutral matter ejections into the outer core, which in turn stimulated what might be described as “Earth cosmic rays” that were detected by ANITA.
This takes me to the mysterious seismic global wave detected on November 11, 2018, 15 miles off the coast of Mayotte, a French island between Madagascar and Africa. On that day, a seismic wave was detected that travelled around the world for about 20 minutes. While seismic waves routinely follow earthquakes, there was no earthquake detected by seismographs as explained in an article published by National Geographic.
Based on the earlier cited 2011 study by Japanese scientists one explanation that arises is that the global seismic wave was caused by cosmic waves penetrating into the Earth’s interior. Another, more disturbing explanation is that the mysterious global seismic waves were a result of unique “Earth cosmic rays” emanating from a neutral matter ejection analogous to a coronal mass ejection first described by Thomas.
Conclusion
The accelerated movement of the magnetic poles is a sign that something significant is currently happening deep inside the Earth’s interior, at its molten outer core. The conventional explanation that this pole shift is merely a result of magma moving in the outer core portion under North America does not factor in the important role played by cosmic waves in penetrating deep into the Earth and influencing the core’s activity.
The fact that cosmic rays are pouring into the Earth due to a weakened magnetic field and solar minimum, and this may be triggering an ejection of neutral matter from the Earth’s core into the mantle and surface, needs be seriously considered. Furthermore, the fact that the CIA classified Thomas’ book some time after its 1963 publication and only declassified it in 2013, suggests that his concepts and theory of the dynamics of the inner Earth and associated pole shifts needed to be suppressed since they contained important truths that could destabilize society.
At this time in our collective history, as cosmic rays are impacting our planet at increasing levels, we need to better understand how cosmic rays influence both our planet and the sun during its period of minimal solar activity. We need to pay particular attention to evidence that our solar system has entered a region of the galaxy with increased levels of cosmic ray energy, and how this might trigger the solar flashes (micronovas) and geophysical pole shifts that occurred in our distant past.
• Astrophysicists at Villanova University have published a new paper suggesting that the planet that orbits Barnard’s Star– known as Barnard b – could have the potential for extraterrestrial life if water exists on the planet. At 30 trillion miles from Earth, Barnard’s Star is the second closest red dwarf star to our solar system after Proxima Centauri. The planet, Barnard b, was discovered in November 2018.
• The Villanova University astrophysicists are holding out hope the newly discovered planet may also harbor oceans. “Geothermal heating could support “life zones” under its surface, akin to subsurface lakes found in Antarctica,” said Edward Guinan, who with co-author Scott Engle presented the findings at the American Astronomy Society (AAS) in Seattle on January 10th.
• “The most significant aspect of the discovery of Barnard’s star b is that the two nearest star systems to the Sun are now known to host planets. This supports previous studies based on Kepler Mission data, inferring that planets can be very common throughout the galaxy, even numbering in the tens of billions,” said Engle. “The universe has been producing Earth-size planets far longer than we, or even the Sun itself, have existed.”
• [Editor’s Note] Just as significant is the confirmation that “geothermal heating could support “life zones” under its surface, akin to subsurface lakes found in Antarctica.” This supports the concept that there exist geothermal pockets under the ice on Antarctica capable of harboring Nazi bases that were only accessible by submarine, where the Nazi elite escaped at the end of World War II to build its secret space program.

A new paper published by astrophysicists at Villanova University suggests that the planet that orbits Barnard’s Star – known as Barnard b – could have the potential for extraterrestrial life if water exists on the planet. That’s due to the possibility of geothermal heating, which could create an ocean for primitive life.
“Geothermal heating could support “life zones” under its surface, akin to subsurface lakes found in Antarctica,” said Edward Guinan.
The temperature on Barnard B is similar to Jupiter’s moon, Europa, at roughly 238 degrees below zero, but given the likely presence of oceans on the Jupiter lunar satellite, the astrophysicists are holding out hope the newly discovered planet may also harbor oceans.
“We note that the surface temperature on Jupiter’s icy moon Europa is similar to Barnard b but, because of tidal heating, Europa probably has liquid oceans under its icy surface,” Guinan added in the statement.
For comparison purposes, rubber freezes below -98 °F / -72 °C and human blood freezes between -2°C and -3°C.
Guinan, who worked on the paper alongside Scott Engle, presented the findings at the American Astronomy Society (AAS) in Seattle on Thursday.
