A UFO Encounter For the Ages (Don’t Worry, Nothing Happened, Go Back to Sleep)

by Jon Rappoport          January 4, 2018             (personalliberty.com)

• On November 5, 1957, the AP reported from New Orleans, “The Coast Guard cutter Sebago sighted an unidentified flying object over the Gulf of Mexico at 5:21 a.m. today. The object, seen for about three seconds, resembled a brilliant planet moving at tremendous speed.”

• On November 6, 1957, the LA Times published an article by Frank Altomonte on page one headlined: “MYSTERY AIR OBJECTS SEEN IN SKY OVER LA.” “Unidentified flying objects first reported over Texas and Gulf of Mexico arrived over Southern California yesterday.” “[USAF personnel] spotted six ‘saucer shaped flying objects’ at an altitude of about 7000 feet at the base of a cloud bank about 3:50 p.m.”

• “Personnel at Los Alamitos Naval Air Station (near San Diego) reported unidentified objects in sight almost continuously between 6:05 and 7:25 p.m.” A UFO over Long Beach Municipal Airport “appeared to be ‘star-like,’ and glowed in varying colors, changing from bright to dim and back again.” “The objects also were observed by 10 military personnel waiting to board an airplane at the airport. Maj. Baker said he rejected the theory that the objects were sheet ice in a cumulonimbus cloud because of their regular circular shape.”

• “Maj. Louis F. Baker, commanding officer of the weather observation post, who sighted the objects with his assistants Airmen Joseph Abramavage and William Nieland said: ‘They were circular and shiny like spun aluminum changing course instantaneously without loss of speed like planes in a dogfight,’ Maj. Baker said. He said the objects were larger than a twin engine C-46 aircraft and were in sight for about a minute and a half.”

• Wow. One of the most significant events in modern times occurs over the skies of Los Angeles, with multiple professional observers and private citizens quoted. You would assume an extensive investigation would be launched. So what happened next? What did they do? … Nothing. No follow-up.

• True reality has been obfuscated by the eyes, ears, and mouth of the public – the mainstream media – by design. News reporters don’t ask the right questions. They back away from a story just when it becomes vital. It looks like these reporters are inherently stupid. A reporter will not cross the line beyond which “important people” would be damaged and exposed, where “official reality” would fall. The underlying dictum of the press is: “official reality” must never fall.

In my work as a reporter over the past 35 years, I’ve studied how major media cover stories. One of their consistent blunders:

Failure to follow up. But it isn’t really a blunder. There is a boundary, and reporters aren’t allowed to cross it.

Therefore, it looks like these reporters are inherently stupid. They don’t ask the right questions. They back away from a story just when it becomes vital.

Well, many of them are stupid—but it’s often a trained response. Over time, they learn to act as if they’re clueless; and then, after years, they are.

What is this boundary? It’s the line beyond which “important people” would be damaged and exposed, if the reporter followed his instincts and pressed forward.

Important people, important institutions are like giants standing on slippery mud. Give them a push, and they fall. Start digging around in the mud, and they fall.

Official reality falls.

The underlying dictum of the press is: Official reality must never fall.

Here is a stunning example of a day when it did—a UFO encounter for the ages.

On March 18, 2001, Jeff Rense (rense.com) published an article by Frank Altomonte, headlined: “SIX ‘SAUCER-SHAPED’ UFOS AND FACE-TO-FACE ET CONTACT IN LA IN 1957.”

Altomonte dug up a November 6, 1957, article from the LA Times. Not just any article. Page one, under a huge black banner headline at the top of the page: MYSTERY AIR OBJECTS SEEN IN SKY OVER LA.

Read these 1957 quotes, and remember, this is the LA Times, the most important newspaper in Los Angeles, and one of the leading papers in the US—during a time when print journalism was still the main source of information for the public.

“They (USAF personnel) spotted six ‘saucer shaped flying objects’ at an altitude of about 7000 feet at the base of a cloud bank about 3:50 p.m.”

“Those unidentified flying objects first reported over Texas and Gulf of Mexico arrived over Southern California yesterday.”

“Personnel at Los Alamitos Naval Air Station reported unidentified objects in sight almost continuously between 6:05 and 7:25 p.m.”

“Lt. Richard Spencer, a flying officer, saw the object from the ground. ‘It was not a star and it was not an airplane’, he said. He admitted, however, that it appeared to be ‘starlike,’ and added that it glowed in varying colors, changing from bright to dim and back again.”

“Airport Tower Operator Louis D. Mitchell and a sentry on duty, Hospitalman Charles Kreiger, also observed the object. Almost all observers were agreed that the object moved slowly — almost imperceptibly, across the sky. Most were agreed that the direction of travel was north or northwest.”

“Lending credence to the reports was the fact that…Air Force weather observers, including the commanding officer of the unit, acknowledged sighting unidentified phenomena over Long Beach Municipal Airport.”

“They spotted six ‘saucer shaped flying objects’ at an altitude of about 7000 feet at the base of a cloud bank about 3:50 p.m.”

“Maj.

“The objects also were observed by 10 military personnel waiting to board an airplane at the airport, the spotters reported. Maj. Baker said he rejected the theory that the objects were sheet ice in a cumulonimbus cloud because of their regular circular shape.”

“An electronics executive, Merlin G. Perkins, 1102 N. Wright St., Santa Ana, said he observed an object though binoculars for almost a half hour as it moved slowly overhead finally fading away into the reflected light above the Santa Ana business district. It appeared to be round and it winked slowly from dim to bright, with a reddish glow, Perkins said.”

The November 6, 1957, LA Times also ran a short piece from the Associated Press, dated a day earlier. AP is, of course, one of the two or three largest news wire services in the world.

“New Orleans, Nov 5 (AP) — The Coast Guard cutter Sebago sighted an unidentified flying object over the Gulf of Mexico at 5:21 a.m. today. The object, seen for about three seconds, resembled a brilliant planet moving at tremendous speed.”

There is much more to Altomonte’s article, but you’re getting the picture.

As far as the LA Times was concerned, back in 1957, what happened next? What did they do?

Nothing. No follow-up.

One of the most significant events in modern times occurs over the skies of Los Angeles, with multiple professional observers (and private citizens also quoted), so you would assume an EXTENSIVE INVESTIGATION would be launched.

“OK, boys, this is when you earn your paychecks. You’re supposed to be relentless reporters. I’m your boss, and this is when I earn my paycheck, too. I’m setting you loose. I don’t care how long it takes. Find out what the hell this is. Break down doors. Go up against the Pentagon and the CIA. The Times will back you up. Is it people from another planet? Is it our own secret craft, with onboard technology no one has ever heard of? Is it Nazis, Russians? We’re going to chase this until the cows come home. And by cows, I mean you. Come home with the true story. We’re not going to let go. You’ll never cover another story like this in your lives…”

But no.

That didn’t happen.

The massive follow-up that should have launched from the Times, like rockets, was squelched.

Transparency Not An Alien Concept

by Alan Chartock          January 4, 2018            (troyrecord.com)

• In this short commentary, Alan Chartock, a professor at the State University of New York writes: “Of course there are other forms of life out there besides us. Are you kidding? “And if they are out there, why don’t they show themselves? “If other civilizations are so much greater than we are, why haven’t they conquered us? “What would we do if we found other civilizations?”

• Since our governmental approach has been to conduct ET/UFO studies and programs in secret, we have no real idea what research has been done and what data has been collected. So we enter into a formulaic denial that there is nothing else out there. Does the government fear that the sharing of information will cause panic and that the people can’t be trusted?

• There has to be transparency. Without that there can be no democracy. Of course, we are not alone and once we figure that out, we had better have a plan.

Of course there are other forms of life out there besides us. Are you kidding? Just how egotistical must we be to think that we are all alone in the cosmos? Take a look out at the night sky and read the literature as we discover constellation upon constellation, universe upon universe. You’d think we could admit to ourselves that we have no idea where it all begins and where it stops? And yet there are those who have the egotistical impudence to suggest that it’s just us. Oh, come on.

Back in 2004, a couple of American fighter pilots saw something unusual and a record was made but kept secret. It was, one said, “not from the Earth.” The video was recently made public and we now discover that the Pentagon had been studying extraterrestrial phenomena through a now discontinued program that ex-majority leader Harry Reid had insisted upon. Of course, since our governmental approach has been to conduct these kinds of studies and programs in secret, we have no real idea what research has been done and what data has been collected. So we enter into a formulaic denial that there is nothing else out there. Very specific evidence is ignored and it is tough to understand why that is.

Does the government fear that the sharing of information will cause panic and that the body politic really can’t be trusted with whatever information we have gathered? No one wants to be thought of as a conspiracy kook. It’s much easier to suggest that the people who report sightings are nothing more than publicity seeking lunatics. In fact, that may be true, but then again, maybe not.

All of this has been explored in one film after another and people are excited by the idea that there are civilizations out there that are far more advanced than ours. Many of us love the idea that films like “The Day That Earth Stood Still” are quite real — that other beings have the capability of studying our plant and, unlike us, recognize that the way we are doing things could result in the mutual destruction of our world. Recently there were printed reports that the North Korean maniacal dictator Kim Jung Un stated that he had the nuclear button on his desk and the President of the United States countered, boasting that his nuclear button was bigger. What could possibly go wrong?

So why have there been so many sightings over the years? Could they really have been extraterrestrial fly-by’s? And if they are out there, why don’t they show themselves? We are sending our own probes through space to see what’s out there. What would we do if we found other civilizations? Would we do to them what we did to the Native American populations? Would we rape and pillage? If other civilizations are so much greater than we are, why haven’t they conquered us? Maybe they are aware of the dangers of such actions.

I often think of the way cancer cells can metastasize through the body, wreaking havoc as they destroy one organ after another. There is always the possibility that extraterrestrial civilizations or even we ourselves are just like that. We hop to the moon and soon to Mars and then to goodness knows where.
It may well turn out that our insistence on spending the money on these secret programs that could go to health care and education may lead to the eradication of all that has happened up to now on earth. We really do have to think this through. If we are spending the money why are we doing it? There has to be transparency. Without that there can be no democracy. Of course, we are not alone and once we figure that out, we had better have a plan.

The Stephenville UFO Wave: 10 Years On

by Nick Redfern               January 3, 2018                   (mysteriousuniverse.org)

• On January 7, 2007 in the skies above Stephenville, Texas (pop. 17,000, about 75 miles SW of Ft Worth), several dozen eye witnesses including a pilot, a county constable and business owners, saw an object about one mile in length and a half mile in width, with bright lights coming from it, flying low over the town. Witnesses said they also saw Navy F-16 fighter jets chasing the UFO.

• Major Karl Lewis with the Joint Reserve Base Naval Air Station in Fort Worth denied that any Navy aircraft flew over Stephenville that evening, and the military were very sure that it was just a commercial airliner with the sun reflecting off of it at a strange angle.

• A couple of weeks later, the Dallas Morning News reported that military officials had admitted to having F-16 fighters in the air near Stephenville on the night. The Air Force Reserve Command Public Affairs official responded that there were, in fact, ten F-16s from the 457th Fighter Squadron performing training operations that early evening.

[Editor’s Note] The government/military must be under standing orders to lie about every UFO incident. They make up the lies as they go. This began with the Army at Roswell, 1947, and became standard military protocol. Consequently, we citizens cannot trust anything that the U.S. government or the military has told us, or not told us.

Just a few days from now we will be marking the 10th anniversary of the Stephenville, Texas wave of UFO activity and encounters. It was a wave which caught the attention of not just UFO researchers, but also much of the world’s media – and the U.S. military, too. There is no doubt that the case was – and still is – steeped in intrigue and mystery. And, as the tenth anniversary looms large on the horizon, there’s also no doubt that there are still enough weird leads and strange aspects to the story to allow for a new investigation of the case. Let’s take a look at the timeline and how things went down.

It was on January 7 that matters really kicked off in Stephenville – and in big-time fashion, too. Consider the following, from Associated Press, on January 14: “…In this farming community where nightfall usually brings clear, starry skies, residents are abuzz over reported sightings of what many believe is a UFO. Several dozen people – including a pilot, county constable and business owners – insist they have seen a large silent object with bright lights flying low and fast. Some reported seeing fighter jets chasing it.”

Steve Allen, the owner of a freight company was quoted as saying: “People wonder what in the world it is because this is the Bible Belt, and everyone is afraid it’s the end of times.” No wonder Allen was so vocal: he said he saw a massive craft in the skies above, somewhere in the region of one-mile in length and half-a-mile in width. He said that the object was “positively, absolutely nothing from these parts.”

Intriguingly, witnesses claimed to have seen military F-16 aircraft pursuing the gigantic aerial vehicle. This, however, was denied by staff at the 301st Fighter Wing at the Joint Reserve Base Naval Air Station in Fort Worth, Texas. Major Karl Lewis stated with respect to this issue, on January 15, that no F-16 aircraft were in the skies of Stephenville on the night of the 7th. The military suggested that they were “90 percent sure this was an airliner. With the sun’s angle, it can play tricks on you.”
Needless to say, the local media were quick to report on the matter. The Fort Worth-based Star Telegram newspaper told its readers the following, also on January 15: “Stephenville’s latest close encounter is weirder than any light in the sky. Stephenville is under assault – not by Martians, but by people hunting them. The phones haven’t stopped ringing at Steve Allen’s trucking company in nearby Glen Rose. He’s the guy who was out Jan. 7 watching the sunset at a friend’s house near Selden when they all saw some weird flashing lights. Now he can’t work for all the calls from London and around the world. Some of the callers are scarier than space aliens.’I’ll be OK,’ he joked Tuesday, ‘as long as I don’t get abducted.’”

Also on the 15th, The Raw Story had its say on the mysterious matter: “Dozens of eyewitnesses have reported seeing a mile-long UFO being pursued by fighter jets last week in the small town of Stephenville, Texas. ‘It was very intense bright lights…and they spanned a wide area,’ said one woman. NBC News spoke with County Constable Lee Roy Gaitan, who offered a somewhat different description. ‘I saw two red glows,’ he said. ‘I never seen anything like that, never.’”

UFO Mania Hit Muncie Hard in 1973

by Keith Roysdon              January 1, 2018            (thestarpress.com)

• In October, 1973, The Muncie Star, in Muncie, Indiana ran a UPI story about three UFOs over Tennessee reported by twenty witnesses including a county sheriff. In Chester County, Tennessee, two UFO’s reportedly buzzed two young brothers who hid in a chicken coop. Police blamed the misidentified objects as merely weather balloons.

• On October 9th, The Muncie Star reported, several hundred people saw mysterious multi-colored lights in the skies over Muncie. Police blamed it on weather balloons.

• On October 13th, the UPI reported that two shipyard workers in Pascagoula, Mississippi claimed to have been abducted and taken aboard a UFO by “silvery-skinned creatures with big eyes and pointed ears.” The shipyard workers’ stories were verified under hypnosis.

• Other reports began coming in from Muncie and Delaware County, Indiana of a rash of UFO sightings. The Star’s newspaper article headline read “[UFO] Reports Rampant in the South.” Indiana National Guard helicopters were blamed for these UFO sightings.

• On October 14th, a Dayton, Ohio woman told police that “an oblong object with blinking lights killed two cows when it landed in a field.”

• On October 17th, The Muncie Evening Press reported an encounter of a Muncie woman who claimed that a UFO had landed behind her home. The patrolman at the scene said, “That lady did see something because she was terrified”. “There are people out there that are not people,” one caller to police said about an incident near the town of Wheeling, north of Muncie.

• On October 19th, The Muncie Evening Press reported a Blackford County Sheriff’s Deputy seeing a “strange looking” object with arm-like extensions over a manufacturing plant.

• On October 20th, The Muncie Star reported UFO sightings near Portland, IN.

• Throughout October 1973, UFO sightings were reported every day from Texas to southern Indiana. But by November, the local UFO craze was over.

• Northwestern University researcher J. Allen Hynek said there was no doubt Earth was being visited by aliens. Steven Spielberg’s movie “Close Encounters of the Third Kind” was set largely in Muncie, though not filmed there, and partially based on Hynek’s accounts.

[Editor’s Note] I certainly hope that the guy responsible for losing all of those weather balloons was sacked.

With recent news reports of a secret Pentagon investigation of flying saucers and Unidentified Flying Objects going back over a period of several years, it’s important to note that Muncie, IN — all of East Central Indiana, really — got there first.

Muncie’s dramatic 1973 brush with UFO mania was recently cited in a magazine article and, of course, 2017 saw the 40th anniversary of the release of Steven Spielberg’s “Close Encounters of the Third Kind,” which was set largely in Muncie (although it was not filmed here).

Before any of that happened, however, in October 1973, Muncie newspapers ran daily stories about sightings of UFOs around the country.

And then the flying saucer sightings began in earnest right in our own backyard.

October 1973 began with a United Press International story, played on page 16 of The Muncie Star, about UFO reports in Tennessee, where a county sheriff said he had personally seen three UFOs. Twenty people called police down there, noting they had made similar sightings.

The next day, another UPI story appeared, this time on the front page of The Star, expanding on the Tennessee sightings. Two brothers, 13 and 9, took refuge in a chicken coop when they were buzzed by a UFO in Chester County, Tennessee.

Two days later, according to a story published in The Muncie Star, police found a weather balloon that was likely responsible for UFO sightings north of Indianapolis.

For several days in a row, Muncie newspaper readers saw account after account of UFO sightings elsewhere. “Reports rampant in the south,” read one headline.

Then, on Wednesday, Oct. 10, 1973, the UFO craze came to Muncie. The evening before, The Muncie Star reported, “mysterious multi-colored lights” were seen by “several hundred” people. About 100 people called police, sheriff’s Sgt. Richard Cranor said, over the course of two hours. Another 50 to 60 people called Muncie police.

Police theorized that weather balloons were to blame. Newton Sprague, director of Ball State University’s observatory, offered the balloon theory too.

Then on Oct. 13, local newspapers carried a UPI story about two shipyard workers in Pascagoula, Mississippi, who said they were abducted and taken aboard a UFO by “silvery-skinned creatures with big eyes and pointed ears.” The reported encounter became one of the most famous of the UFO era.

The floodgates were opened for UFO sightings in the Muncie area.

On Saturday, Oct. 13, 1973, “four or five” Indiana National Guard helicopters were blamed for a rash of UFO reports over Muncie and Delaware County. The choppers prompted 40 calls to police.

The next day, in Dayton, Ohio, a woman told police that “an oblong object with blinking lights killed two cows when it landed in a field.”

In the meantime, UPI reported that hypnosis supported the stories of the two Mississippi men who said they were abducted. Northwestern University researcher J. Allen Hynek, upon whose cases Spielberg’s movie was partially based, said there was no doubt Earth was being visited by aliens.

On Oct. 17, The Muncie Evening Press reported on a few days of Muncie UFO encounters. “More UFOs reported in Muncie,” read the headline.

“A Mrs. Pierce at 226 N. Davis called police at 8:54 p.m. Tuesday to report that a UFO had landed behind her home. Patrolman William Kirby, who was at the scene, said, ‘That lady did see something because she was terrified.’” A neighbor had heard clicking sounds at about the same time.

“There are people out there that are not people,” one caller to police said about an incident near the town of Wheeling, north of Muncie.

“I’ll believe in one when it flies through my living room,” Muncie’s Deputy Police Chief, Jack Turner, told The Evening Press.

Cosmic Cafe: The Biggest Story in 2018?

by Carol Mann                January 4, 2018               (planetjh.com)

• This commentary by Carol Mann is an invitation to begin adjusting ourselves to the far-reaching changes to everything we thought we knew and believed, which a confirmed E.T. presence will bring. The ability to expand our capacity for what’s true and to adapt, no matter how mind blowing, can spare individuals, communities and nations from excessive fear and mitigate serious personal and societal mental trauma as some of our long-held and/or foundational beliefs become obsolete.

• These revelations also introduce the extraordinary and challenging opportunity to step into becoming galactic citizens capable of leaning into and contributing the best of our unique humanness to the advancements, the complexities and the wonders of expanding beyond what we are able to imagine. Always keep in mind that every human being has a heart equipped with the ability to consciously access and share the highest love, creativity, and intelligence of the Cosmos. As this story unfolds, keep informed, keep your mind open and curious. And as consistently as possible, lead with an open heart.

“Somewhere, something incredible is waiting to be known…The Earth is a very small stage in a vast cosmic arena…There are a lot of places out there, the molecules of life are everywhere, I use the word billions… it would be astonishing to me if there weren’t extraterrestrial intelligence.”
~ Carl Sagan

UFO DISCLOSURE

In the past couple of weeks, amid the holiday hustle and bustle, there has been an interesting, no-drama flurry of UFO related information, including camera footage, released by NASA, former Pentagon officials, and other high level sources to mainstream media. Articles and interviews have appeared in The New York Times, Chicago Tribune, Huffington Post, on the major television news broadcasts and in social media. The bottom line of all this is that highly placed people and government sources are gently letting us know that the evidence for non-terrestrials visiting the Earth is very compelling.

WHAT’S NOT SO NEW

The topic of extra-terrestrials and their influence on life here on Earth is not new. Peoples throughout history have attempted to tell us in the records of their art, written traditions, and even in nuggets of truth surviving in myths that contact with E.T.’s has been going on for untold thousands of years and is real. Ancient advanced civilizations all over the world have openly attributed their knowledge of everything from architecture, engineering and medicine to beings from the stars who came to Earth. The recognition of star beings is also true among indigenous cultures.

Currently, we have the eyewitness reports from astronauts, military personnel, police, scientists, and thousands of civilians who have witnessed UFOs and/or experienced “close encounters.” Recently we also have detailed testimony about secret space programs from credible experts and experiencers turned whistleblowers. There is an impressive selection of brilliantly researched books published on these E.T. and secret space program topics.

WHAT IS NEW

What is new is that when NASA and Pentagon government sources share previously secret information with mainstream media, when a recently retired head of a government UFO project speaks publically about findings, we can assume the timing of this is not random. These disclosures would likely be on purpose and with a purpose. This appears to be part of an on-going soft disclosure … aka a little bit at a time … perhaps slightly accelerated right now…about what’s been going on for the past seventy years or so related to extra-terrestrial research, exploration, technology retrieval and outer space discoveries.

ON THE EVENT HORIZON

This article is an invitation to be aware of what we are being shown is on the event horizon. This is not about promoting fear. This is intended as an opportunity to begin adjusting ourselves to the far reaching changes to everything we thought we knew and believed, which a confirmed E.T. presence will bring. The ability to expand our capacity for what’s true and to adapt, no matter how mind blowing, can spare individuals, communities and nations from excessive fear and mitigate serious personal and societal mental trauma as some of our long-held and/or foundational beliefs become obsolete.

IT IS WHAT IT IS

Inevitably there will be good guys and bad guys, noble agendas and destructive ones, things we will want to know and things we’d rather we didn’t know. The ability to see what is … without emotional reactivity … allows for mental clarity, emotional calm and the ability to discern what’s true to make informed choices. As more and more of what’s been kept secret related to UFOs, space exploration and ET technology is likely revealed, there will an appropriate mix of reactions … from shock, upset and despair to wonder, excitement and optimism, and everything in between.

BECOMING GALACTIC HUMANS

These revelations also introduce the extraordinary and challenging opportunity to step into becoming galactic citizens capable of leaning into and contributing the best of our unique humanness to the advancements, the complexities and the wonders of expanding what’s possible beyond what we are able to imagine. Always keep in mind that every human being has a heart equipped with the ability to consciously access and share the highest love, creativity and intelligence of the Cosmos. As this story unfolds, keep informed, keep your mind open and curious. And as consistently as possible, lead with an open heart.

39 UFOs Were Spotted In New York City In 2017

by Noah Manskar           December 31, 2017           (patch.com)

• Peter Davenport, the director of the Washington state-based National UFO Reporting Center (NURC), says, “I know that this is the greatest scientific question that has ever confronted man… whether we are alone or not.” “And I submit to you that we are visited on a frequent basis. This is the biggest story in the world.”

• UFO sightings are most frequent in California and Florida where 13,033 and 6,190 UFOs have been reported, respectively, since the database’s inception in the 1990’s.

• In 2017, residents of New York City reported 39 UFO sightings. This number is down compared to 2016, when the city reported 47 sightings to the NURC’s online database. New York City’s sightings accounted for about 23 percent of the 169 reported across the state of New York in 2017.

• New Yorkers reported seeing flashing lights or objects of varying shapes in the sky for as little as 30 seconds to as long as 30 minutes. Lots of the events came late at night or early in the morning, though some were reported during daylight hours.

NEW YORK, NY — The truth is out there – and it might have visited the Big Apple in 2017. New Yorkers reported 39 sightings of unidentified flying objects across the five boroughs during the year, according to the National UFO Reporting Center.

Most reports came out of Brooklyn, where 15 people spotted unusual lights or shapes floating through the skies. Ten sightings came from Queens, nine from Manhattan, three from Staten Island and two from the Bronx.

UFO sightings are down this year compared to 2016, when the city reported 47 sightings to the NURC’s online database. Manhattan saw 18 UFOs that year, Brooklyn saw 14, Queens saw 11, the Bronx saw six and Staten Island three.

New York City’s sightings accounted for about 23 percent of the 169 reported across the state this year, NURC’s database shows.

New Yorkers reported seeing flashing lights or objects of varying shapes in the sky for as little as 30 seconds to as long as 30 minutes. Lots of the events came late at night or early in the morning, though some were reported during daylight hours.

“All of the sudden, I see 2 triangles made up of lights floating by in the sky,” wrote one Astoria, Queens, resident who was looking out of a fifth-floor apartment window over the East River at 9:29 p.m. on Oct. 20. “There 1 second gone the next. One triangle was made of red lights and the other craft made of blue.”

New York City is far from alone in seeing UFOs. The NURC has reports from every U.S. state and other nations. Sightings are most frequent in California and Florida — sky-watchers there have reported 13,033 and 6,190 UFOs respectively since the database’s inception in the 1990s.

The U.S. government became interested enough in flying saucers that in 2007 it launched a Department of Defense program to study sightings of them, according to a bombshell report in The New York Times this month. Former government officials, including the program’s former director, say the effort is still active, though federal funding for it ran out in 2012.

UFO ‘Bigger Than the Moon’ Among Nearly 5,000 Sightings Last Year

by Paul Harper           January 1, 2018             (dailystar.co.uk)

• The US National UFO Reporting Center says it had 4,655 reports of flying saucers in 2017.
• Top ten states for UFO sightings:
1. California 490
2. Florida 308
3. Washington 192
4. Arizona 180
5. New York 170
6. Pennsylvania 161
7. Colorado 147
8. Ohio 146
9. Connecticut 146
10 N. Carolina 135

Thousands of mysterious cases were logged by the National UFO Reporting Centre (NUFORC).

The NUFORC said it had 4,655 reports of flying saucers in 2017. California was the hotspot for the bizarre encounters with 490 sightings, followed by Florida with 305.

Nevada, the home of Area 51 where alien hunters claim an extra terrestrial spaceship and its crew were taken following a crash in Roswell in 1947, generated 55.

One spooked woman saw something bizarre with her husband on December 14 near Santa Fe, New Mexico.

She claims they “saw an object flying across the Interstate in a southeasterly direction.

“It appeared triangular with bright green lights around its entire periphery.”

“From my husband’s perspective, it appeared larger than a full moon.

”By the time it crossed my field of vision (I was in the passenger seat), it appeared slightly smaller than a full moon.

Listen To Astronaut’s Awe as UFOs Surround NASA Capsule Before Contact is Lost

by Jon Austin                December 28, 2017                 (express.co.uk)

• On February 20 1962, John Glenn became the first U.S. astronaut to orbit the Earth in a space capsule for an extended period of time. During this flight, Glenn contacted mission control as he was seeing a “brilliant blue horizon” coming up behind him at sunrise.

• Suddenly, Glenn begins to describe an incredible sight. “I am in a big mass of some very small particles that are brilliantly lit up like they’re luminescent. I never saw anything like it. They’re coming by the capsule and they look like little stars. A whole shower of them coming by.” He said he could see them for miles in each direction.  Glenn reports that  there are literally thousands of them, spaced about eight feet apart and brilliantly lit, all around the capsule.

• Glenn took video of the sea of little lights and describes them in the video. (see 6:42 video below)

• Later in 1962, astronaut Scott Carpenter made a similar orbit on the Aurora 7 capsule and also saw these “fireflies.” Carpenter was able to tap the sides of the capsule and make them float off.

• NASA concluded they were ice particles that had accumulated on the outside of the capsule and caught by sunlight.

A NASA astronaut can be heard explaining his amazement at the sight of his capsule being surrounded by strange UFOs.

The recording is between astronaut John Glenn and mission control on Earth as he orbited Earth in a space capsule on February 20 1962 as the first US astronaut to do it for an extended period.

In the audio Mr Glenn, who calls himself Friendship Seven, can heard describing seeing a “brilliant blue horizon” coming up behind him as it approaches sunrise.

Then, he suddenly realises something peculiar is happening as several UFOs appear.

He said: “This is Friendship Seven. I’ll try to describe what I’m in here.

“I am in a big mass of some very small particles that are brilliantly lit up like they’re luminescent.
“I never saw anything like it.

“They’re coming by the capsule and they look like little stars.

“A whole shower of them coming by.”

he said they swirled around the capsule, were brilliantly lit, at seven or eight feet apart and all around the capsule.

He was asked by mission control if he heard any impact with the capsule, to which he said no.

He added: “They’re very slow. They’re not going away from me more than maybe three or four miles per hour.”

He then gets no response for sometime as he continues to describe what’s happening.

Mr Glenn said: “they do have a different motion from me because they swirl around the capsule and then depart back the way that I am looking.

“Are you receiving over…

“There are literally thousands of them.”

The Final Part of Britain’s Real-Life X-Files Has Been Released – But Does the Government Have Something to Hide?

by George Harrison             January 5, 2018              (thesun.co.uk)

• Britain’s Ministry of Defence has spent ten years releasing a trickle of declassified files relating to UFO sightings. The final three documents were made public on January 1, 2018. These MoD “X-Files” are formerly top-secret papers containing eyewitness accounts, sketches and police reports of UFO sightings from the 1970’s to the early 2000’s. But the final three documents just released are all dated from 1986.

• Defence officials decided to release the documents to save the hassle of responding to thousands of freedom of information requests about the government’s knowledge of UFOs. But these last three won’t be available online (as are all of the previous documents). Anyone who wants to read them will have to either visit the National Archives or order a copy of the documents for a copying fee.

• UFO enthusiasts are glad that the British military has released their UFO files, but why did it take ten years to do so?

• Former MoD official Nick Pope says, “There’s no smoking gun in these files that says UFOs are extraterrestrial.”

The MoD (Britain’s Ministry of Defence) has spent ten years releasing a trickle of declassified files relating to UFO sightings… and now the final three documents have been made public.

This final release completes the Government’s long process of publishing Britain’s real-life X Files, formerly top-secret papers containing eyewitness accounts, sketches and police reports of UFO sightings from the 1970s to the early noughties (ie: the early 2000’s for Americans).

Over the past decade, the files, which have been drip-fed into the public domain to hush any claims of a conspiracy, were ushered out without any fanfare from the Government, with batches steadily and unceremoniously cropping up online.

The final three documents appeared on the National Archives website on January 1, and are all dated from 1986.

One is described as UFO incidents, while the others are filed under UFO reports and UFO correspondence.
But, even after spending the past three decades behind the closed doors of the MoD, they’re unlikely to satisfy conspiracy theorists.

Unlike many of the releases before it, this final wave of files won’t be available online, and the timing of their publication is sure to cause more a stir among the UFO community.

Officials originally decided to circulate the documents to save the hassle of responding to thousands of freedom of information requests about the Government’s knowledge of UFOs.

But Nick Pope, who used to run the Ministry of Defence’s UFO project, says conspiracy theorists are likely to be “incensed” by the questions thrown up by the final file dump.

Now, believers will want to know why the Government waited ten years to release these files, and why they’ve been made so hard to get hold of.

Why January 1?

One reason why UFO hunters are unlikely to be happy is the precise timing of the release, on New Years Day.

Nick says: “This looks suspiciously as if The National Archives tried to sneak out this release when nobody was looking.”

Some will be asking whether this was an attempt to bury the release by shuffling it out on a bank holiday when everyone was in bed.

It’s true that January 1 is a common release date for public files, but hardcore UFO hunters will want to know why the MoD has held on to these for so long in the first place.

Is there a link to the Pentagon’s UFO research?

This final wave of files, which caps off a ten-year release programme, was published after the big news broke that the American government was hiding its own X Files.

Nick said: “Coming so soon after the revelations about the Pentagon’s UFO program, this will raise suspicion in the UFO community that there’s been co-ordination between the US and UK government on this.”

Revealed: ‘Secret Area 51 Airline’ Flies in Special Planes From Guarded Las Vegas Terminal

by Taryn Tarrant-Cornish           January 5, 2018           (express.co.uk)

• Sonic booms, and a very loud double sonic boom heard in December over the Nevada Air Force testing ground known as Area 51 prompted locals to demand answers, and this led to the discovery of a hidden airport in Las Vegas serving the military to and from Area 51. In addition to testing experimental aircraft and weaponry, rumor has it that Area 51 is where the U.S. government is hiding extraterrestrial craft and even some ETs themselves, and is reverse-engineering these alien craft. The U.S. government admitted to the existence of Area 51 in 2005.

• Researchers discovered that a fleet of 737s, painted with a distinctive red stripe and call signs that begin with ‘XXX’, routinely fly from a secret terminal named “Janet” (‘Just Another Non-Existent Terminal’) at McCarren Airport in Las Vegas, to Area 51, and also to the Tonopah nuclear facility. The terminal is used exclusively for military personnel, is protected by armed guards, and flight schedules from that terminal do not appear on airport information boards.

• UFO truth seekers believe the double sonic boom heard over Area 51 military could be a sign of something otherworldly being hidden in the classified location.

Suspicious flights have been seen leaving McCarran Airport in the city of sin with their schedules and manifest shrouded in complete mystery.

The airline flies from a terminal named Janet exclusively serves military personnel carrying them from Vegas to the desert base where many believe the US hides evidence of UFOs and aliens.

Janet is reported to be an acronym for Just Another Non-Existent Terminal.

The fleet of 737s painted with a distinctive red stripe carry call signs which start XXX.

The planes do not appear on departure boards and no civilians are able to get near the terminal which is protected by armed guards.

Former Ministry of Defence employee Nick Pope said: ”Area 51 exists – it’s part of a military testing range in Nevada – and because of the remote and sparsely-populated location, it’s where various secret prototype aircraft and drones are developed and test flown.”

Flights travel to nuclear facility Tonopah and another unnamed destination which is accepted by many to be the infamous Area 51 air force base.

Despite its massive size and reputation as the centre of extraterrestrial activity in the US, it took until 2005 for the US government to openly acknowledge the existence of the base.

It is thought the base is used to carry out experimental aircraft and weapons tests deep in the Nevada desert.

Mr Pope told The Sun: “The UFO and conspiracy theory community think it’s the place where crashed UFOs are kept and where the US military is trying to back-engineer this alien technology.

“Sadly, despite the rumours, I’ve seen no evidence that we’ve recovered any extraterrestrial technology.”

Revelations about the secret airline come after demands for information after a mysterious double sonic boom was heard over the base.

UFO truth seekers believe a double sonic boom being heard over the mysterious Area 51 military could be a sign of something otherworldly being hidden in the classified location.

A video showing the strange noises over the Nevada US Air Force base posted on YouTube by channel UFO Seekers has racked up more than 40,000 views.

In the clip, F-22 fighter jets can be seen flying over Area 51.

The stealth planes leave strange trails as they cut through the Nevada skies at speeds of up to 1,500mph.

Then, as one accelerates away, a frighteningly loud double booming sound can be heard.

US Fighter Pilot Reveals Close Encounter With UFO and Warns World Leaders to Take Sightings Seriously

by Hugo Daniels and Emily Saul             December 31, 2017            (thesun.co.uk)

• Retired Navy Commander, David Fravor, 53, was flying one of a pair of fighter jets on a routine training mission about 100 miles into the Pacific ocean off San Diego in 2004, an incident which has become the subject of a Department of Defense cockpit video released to the public in mid-December, causing a furor in the UFO and scientific world. Fravor and his wingman were diverted by the Navy cruiser the USS Princeton to check out an object spotted on their radar. The Princeton operator said they had been tracking up to a dozen mystery aircraft over two weeks but hadn’t deployed any aircraft when Fravor’s F/A-18 Super Hornet arrived on the scene.

• The object first appeared at 80,000 ft, then hurtled towards the sea, stopping at 20,000 feet and hovering before dropping out of radar. When Fravor arrived he saw a white aircraft hovering 50 feet above a disturbance in the ocean. The UFO craft was 40 ft long and rounded, resembling a tic tac with no wings. It was bright white but wasn’t reflecting a lot of light. It had no windows, no exhaust flume, and no visible form of propulsion.  (see 43-second video below)

• As Fravor flew towards it, the craft began ascending towards him, passing him at about 12,000 ft. He thinks he got within half a mile of it. Fravor says, “I literally chased the thing and it started to mirror us, it was like it became aware we were there. I cut across to see if I could get closer and it rapidly accelerated and disappeared. Within a matter of a second it was gone.” “In 16 years of flying I had never seen anything like that.”

• Fravor said, “I know what I saw. It was impressive, it had incredible performance.” “I honestly don’t think humans have that technology to do what that thing did. Nor could the human body withstand accelerations like that.” Fravor insists that the object was alien in origin.

• Fravor offered his advice, “You can ignore them and hope they’re just going to observe, or you can do something about it and try to understand what they’re doing.” “We all need to take these seriously as a species, because right now we don’t know the intent of these things.”

Retired US Navy pilot commander David Fravor spoke out in support of ex US government intelligence officer Luis Elizondo, who last week revealed he ran a real life “X Files” UFO research department at the Pentagon named the Advanced Aviation Threat Identification Program (AATIP) funded by £16 million ($22m) “black ops money” from Congress.

Elizondo secured the release of previously classified US Defense Department videos of UFO encounters – one of which shows the craft Fravor saw darting off at an incredible speed.

Commander Fravor, 53, was flying one of two fighter jets on a routine training mission about 100 miles into the Pacific ocean off San Diego when they were diverted to check out an aircraft spotted on radar from their navy cruiser the USS Princeton.

The operations operator said they had been tracking up to a dozen mystery aircraft over two weeks but hadn’t had manned planes deployed when they showed up.

The object first appeared at 80,000ft, then hurtled towards the sea, stopping at 20,000 feet and hovering before dropping out of radar.

When Commander Fravor arrived he saw a white aircraft hovering 50 feet above above a disturbance in the ocean.

He said: “It was just moving randomly around – this 40 foot long white tic tac looking thing, with no wings.

“It was a clear day with a blue background and it was perfectly white. We didn’t see any windows, no form of propulsion, nothing, just a big white object.

“It was rounded on both ends and had a cylindrical body which rounded in, same front to back.

“I couldn’t tell what it was made of, it was bright white but it wasn’t reflecting a bunch of light.”

Fravor flew towards it and the aircraft began ascending towards him, passing him at about 12,000 ft. He thinks he got within half a mile of it.

He said: “I literally chased the thing and it started to mirror us, it was like it became aware we were there. I cut across to see if I could get closer and it rapidly accelerated and disappeared. Within a matter of a second it was gone.”

Asked what was going through his mind, he said: “I was thinking ‘That’s pretty strange’. In 16 years of flying I had never seen anything like that. Nothing that can hover and climb at that rate up and then accelerate and just disappear.

“I was more curious then afraid. I wanted to see how close I could get to it, to see what it was.”
The two fighter jets were told to head to a rendezvous point 60 miles away.

However the radio operator on the Princeton then radioed and said the mystery aircraft had turned up before them.

At this point another aircraft was sent to investigate and recorded radar footage of the aircraft. The 90 second video shows the oblong shaped object hovering before it darts off to the left at what appears to be an unprecedented velocity.

Fravor said: “It jammed the radar, you couldn’t lock it with a conventional radar, you could passively track it and see it, but if you tried to grab a lock it wouldn’t allow you to do that.

“When it takes off and goes to the side that’s a significant amount of distance to travel in a very short period of time, we’re talking miles, that thing just goes poof and in about a second it’s off the side of the screen.

“You look at the video of it there’s no exhaust flume, there’s no indication of how that thing is moving around. Having seen a lot of different airplanes, you can always at least hot spots where the exhaust is coming out. I was close enough visually to go ‘we don’t have anything like that’.”
He insisted the object was alien in origin.

Government Proof Surfaces That UFOs Exist

by Dave Peyton             December 27, 2017             (herald-dispatch.com)

• Recently, we discovered that the government has recently been researching UFOs as real phenomena reported by military pilots whose sightings and reports cannot be ignored. With this news, we find that UFOs are not a figment of the imaginations of the insane. UFOs are real and the reason they have come to Earth will soon be revealed (says Dave Peyton).

• For the past 70 years, the government has studied UFOs under different programs. But as soon as the public discovers them, they are shut down. All the government apparently does is to change the programs’ names to make it seem they were terminated, when they weren’t.

• The government has been hiding the true nature of UFOs fearing the public can’t handle the truth because it would bring panic and the dissolution of the current culture that could lead to revolution. But it is getting more difficult for the government to lie to us about UFOs.

• Peyton recommends the Netflix documentary “Unacknowledged”, presenting the point of view of ufologist Steven Greer who presents interviews from scientists, government officials, and astronauts as proof of the existence of extraterrestrials and UFOs.

• Greer believes it will take a revolution to pry the truth out of the top secret UFO project leaders who are hiding the truth because of, primarily, greed. Greer relates how Nikola Tesla was on the verge of learning how to draw unlimited electricity from the atmosphere and send it through the air without wires many miles away, which he claimed to have learned from extraterrestrials, but he died before he could finish the project. As soon as he died, the government raided his house and removed all of his papers. They were never seen again. Dwight Eisenhower warned us of the military-industrial complex. That complex relies on oil and natural gas too much to allow free power from the air around us coupled with an extraterrestrial force that might demand peace on earth, according to Greer.

[Editor’s Note] An interesting point of fact is that President Trump’s uncle John G. Trump, an MIT professor during the 1940’s, was part of the FBI group that ransacked Tesla’s apartment when Tesla died in 1943. Also, Greer’s galactic view assumes that all ETs are benevolent, which is not the case.

Unaccustomed as I am to gloating, I am breaking that longstanding tradition with this column. I am going to gloat.

Perhaps 10 years ago, I wrote a few columns expressing my belief that UFOs are not a figment of the imaginations of the insane. I wrote a few more like that recently.

I have felt for years that UFOs, which are creations of aliens, are real and the reason they have come to earth are for peaceful purposes that will soon be revealed.

Last week, we discovered that the government is admitting that it has been researching UFOs recently, not as creations of human eccentrics but as real phenomena reported by military pilots whose sightings and reports cannot be ignored.

The government agency that researched the sightings said a few million dollars were spent on the program but was concluded several years ago.

The New York Times says that government sources report the program continues and that credible sightings are still studied.

For the past 70 years, the government has studied UFOs under different programs. But as soon as the public discovered them, they were hastily shut down. But all the government did apparently was change the programs’ names to make it seem they were terminated. It’s clear they weren’t.

Why have they hid the results of these searches into the true nature of UFOs? It has been said they fear telling us, the “unwashed little people” what they know, fearing we can’t handle the truth because it would bring panic and the dissolution of the current culture that could lead to revolution.

Well, maybe and maybe not.

About the same time the report of government UFO research was revealed, an important two-hour documentary was posted on Netflix.

It’s called “Unacknowledged” and if you have Netflix, you ought to watch it a few times.
Noted UFO expert Steven Greer offers powerful information that tends to prove the existence of extraterrestrials and the UFOs they pilot within earth’s atmosphere on a regular basis.

No proof they exist? Balderdash. Greer presents interview after interview from reputable scientists, top government officials, astronauts and more, all of whom believe and some of whom have seen UFOs, including two presidents – Jimmy Carter and Ronald Reagan.

It’s getting more difficult for the government to lie to us about UFOs. In fact, some believe that government and scientists are on the verge of laying the truth out there for all to see. Why? Because we can no longer be lied to. The truth is obvious.

Pentagon UFO Study Catches Attention of Congress

by George Knapp          December 22, 2017             (good4utah.com)

• In his only television interview, former Nevada Senator Harry Reid told the I-Team about the pivotal role he played authorizing a secret Pentagon study of UFOs that ended five years ago. (see five-minute video below)

• The explosion of news coverage about the UFO issue has caught the attention of Congress. Reid’s phone started ringing immediately from people from Congress and the business community who’ve always been interested in the subject but were afraid to admit it. Reid thinks the time may be right to re-launch a formal Congressional inquiry in to the UFO phenomenon.

• “Now that it’s out, why shouldn’t they do this? Reid said.

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) – Former Nevada Senator Harry Reid thinks it might be time to hold congressional hearings into the mystery surrounding UFOs.

In his only television interview, Reid told the I-Team about the pivotal role he played authorizing a secret Pentagon study of UFOs that ended five years ago.

The project was based in Nevada, carried out by Las Vegas businessman who is no stranger to paranormal investigations. In fact, Robert Bigelow’s mysterious Skinwalker ranch played a role in the Pentagon investigation.

A picturesque ranch in northeastern Utah, shunned by its Native American neighbors and long considered a hotbed of UFO sightings and other unexplained phenomena, played a pivotal role in the creation of the once-secret Pentagon study of unknown aerial objects.

In the mid 90s, Las Vegas billionaire Robert Bigelow bought the property and sent in his research team, the National Institute for Discovery Science, or NIDS, to study the ranch and the larger Uintah Basin.
Over the next 10 years, NIDS scientists had dramatic encounters with the unknown, including daylight mutilations of livestock, mysterious aircraft, and discarnate entities.

“The ranch is not just UFOs. Performances of anomalies go back many years,” said Robert Bigelow.
The I-Team’s 2007 conversation with Bigelow, his first on camera interview on any subject, never aired but he told us that his NIDS team experienced more than 100 baffling encounters, though they had no idea what was behind it.

“And that we don’t have to worry about aliens coming and taking us away. That’s for somebody else to talk about,” said former U.S. Senator Harry Reid.

When Senator Reid and colleagues authorized funding for a Pentagon study, they made a point of saying it was not a search for little green men. The primary aim was to identify, analyze, and eventually duplicate the other worldly technology that had been demonstrated in multiple dramatic encounters involving the U.S. military.

“The phenomenon is real,” said Luis Elizondo, former Pentagon official.

The man who ran the Pentagon’s study, Luis Elizondo, resigned in October and has since said the technology of these craft is beyond anything known on earth, but he declines to guess where it originates. No one involved wants to mention space aliens, for obvious reasons.

“I’m not into that,” Reid said. “I’m interested in science, what’s going on in our world.”

What Neil deGrasse Tyson Completely Fails to Acknowledge About UFOs & Potnential ETs

by Arjun Walia            December 22, 2017            (collective-evolution.com)

• The Pentagon’s recent admission of having a program that studies UFOs, not to mention a cockpit video of a Navy jet chasing a UFO, has created a lot of buzz in the media. But prior to this blockbuster revelation, there have been millions of documents released via governments, military, and intelligence agencies that clearly document the fact that these things are tracked on radar, and that military pilots are often scrambled to take a closer look. When our pilots come too close to these craft and they perform evasive maneuvers or shut down the pilots’ critical instrumentation and electronic equipment, it’s clear we are looking at an intelligently controlled and highly sophisticated piece of technology.

• Hundreds of academics and scientists have published articles in peer-reviewed journals, and given lectures around the world regarding the scientific data and evidence that’s already been obtained from the UFO phenomenon.

• The recently retired director of the Pentagon UFO program, Louis Elizondo, confirmed on CNN that there is a great deal of evidence suggesting we are currently being visited, and have been visited, by intelligent extraterrestrials. Even the pilot of the UFO video released by the Pentagon stated his belief that this particular object was “not from this world.”

• When you have several hundred individuals who’ve held high ranking positions within the military, the academic community, and within intelligence agencies as well as private military contractors like Lockheed Martin, telling us that some of these UFOs are indeed extraterrestrial in origin and are much more technologically advanced than our own, it’s not something to ignore.

• But when celebrity astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson was asked about intelligent extraterrestrials visiting Earth in a CNN interview (see 5:27 video below), Tyson responded, “The evidence is so paltry for aliens to visit Earth, I have no further interest. .   It seems to me, aliens who visited us . . . would manifest more convincingly than fuzzy video, and there’s no reason to assume that because you don’t know what you’re looking it equals aliens that visited us from outer space.”

• Tyson may be correct that we don’t know what the UFO is for certain, but that doesn’t mean we should therefore ignore the phenomenon. The fact that Tyson doesn’t even acknowledge the operating characteristics of this craft (in the cockpit video) goes to show that he doesn’t really recognize the significance and implications of such sightings. Tyson says that, from a scientific standpoint, none of this constitutes evidence at all.

• Tyson clearly hasn’t done his research or examined the evidence. The fact that Neil deGrasse Tyson has been popularized, given so much credibility and a mainstream media platform, is dangerous.

[Editor’s note] Is Neil deGrasse Tyson simply a paid shill for the media cabal’s disinformation campaign? Is he trying to preserve his head-in-the-sand point-of-view because this is what his top-selling books say and he wants to stay relevant? Or is he just happily ignorant due to his intentional refusal to actually look at the plethora of UFO evidence out there? When the UFO/extraterrestrial phenomenon is finally revealed to be true, will Tyson publicly admit what a close-minded fool he really is and go away?

“People I think have conflated the concept of a UFO with whether we’re [being] visited by aliens. UFO means unidentified flying object, this is a highly non-specific term, it is so non-specific it admits you don’t know what you’re looking at. . . . The universe brims with mysteries, just because you don’t know what it is you’re looking at, doesn’t mean it’s intelligent aliens from another planet.”

When asked about his skepticism about intelligent extraterrestrials visiting Earth, Tyson responded, “The evidence is so paltry for aliens to visit Earth, I have no further interest. . . . It seems to me, aliens who visited us . . . would manifest more convincingly than fuzzy video, and there’s no reason to assume that because you don’t know what you’re looking it equals aliens that visited us from outer space.”

The Pentagon’s recent admission of having a program that studies UFOs has created a lot of buzz in the media. It’s official disclosure, but there have been millions of documents released via governments, military, and intelligence agencies that clearly document the fact that these things show up in our atmosphere all the time, that they are tracked on radar, and that military pilots are often scrambled to take a closer look.

The Pentagon claims the program was shut down, but the recently retired director of the program, Louis Elizondo, says otherwise. He also recently appeared on CNN stating that there is a great deal of evidence suggesting we are currently being visited, and have been visited, by intelligent extraterrestrials. Even the pilot of the UFO video released by the Pentagon stated his belief that this particular object was “not from this world.”

What Neil Is Not Acknowledging

First off, Neil is not recognizing that this is a common occurrence, and has been for decades. He is not recognizing that it’s quite clear we are looking at an intelligently controlled and highly sophisticated piece of technology.

Encounters with UFOs have been tracked on radar as well as visually confirmed thousands of times, and this is just one example of multiple encounters, many of which are far more extraordinary than this one.

That being said, this one was quite extraordinary. We are talking about objects travelling at tremendous speeds and performing maneuvers that no known aircraft can perform, some of which even defy our current understanding of physics.

One of the pilots of this particular encounter, David Fravor, describes his experience as follows: “As I got close to it, probably within a mile to half a mile, it rapidly accelerated to the south and and disappeared in less than two seconds. . . . It had no wings . . . there’s no rotors. . . . This was extremely abrupt. Like a ping pong ball bouncing off the wall, it would hit and go the other way and change directions at will. And then the ability to hover over the water and then start a vertical climb from basically zero up towards about 12,000 feet, and then accelerate in less than two seconds and disappear — it is something I had never seen in my life.”

Neil may be right about the fact that we don’t know what it is, but that doesn’t mean we should therefore ignore the phenomenon. He also fails to provide any alternative explanations. He doesn’t even speculate on the matter, which is weird because we’re talking about, again, an object performing never-before-seen maneuvers, displaying extremely technologically advanced capabilities.

It may not be ET, but if not, where is it from? From what we’ve been told, the military doesn’t even have access to this type of technology. If it did come from the military, how would the military pilots and their superiors not know about a craft in their vicinity, given the fact that they are themselves representatives of the military?

Is the craft manmade, perhaps from a rogue aerospace program that not even the U.S. military knows about? Who knows. But the fact that Tyson didn’t even acknowledge the operating characteristics of this craft goes to show that he doesn’t really recognize the significance and implications of such sightings.

Another interesting fact is that it is only when our pilots come too close to these craft that they perform evasive maneuvers or shut down the pilots’ critical instrumentation and electronic equipment.

“The Evidence Is So Paltry”

“Intelligent beings from other star systems have been and are visiting our planet Earth. They are variously referred to as Visitors, Others, Star People, ETs, etc. . . . They are visiting Earth NOW; this is not a matter of conjecture or wistful thinking.” – Theodor C. Loder III, Phd, Professor Emeritus of Earth Sciences, University of New Hampshire.

Prior to the official disclosure of UFOs, and mind you, not just any unidentified flying objects, but again, objects travelling at tremendous speeds and performing maneuvers that no known aircraft can, skeptics like Tyson stated that the evidence for “UFOs” was practically nonexistent.

This simply isn’t true. The evidence for UFOs, before their official disclosure, was abundant. This really showed how little Neil had researched the topic. As a wise man once said, “Condemnation without investigation is the height of ignorance,” and that’s exactly what’s happening here.

“It is my thesis that flying saucers are real and that they are space ships from another solar system. I think that they possibly are manned by intelligent observers who are members of a race that may have been investigating our Earth for centuries.” – Hermann Oberth, one of the founding fathers of modern rocketry.

He stated that, from a scientific standpoint, what we had at the time did not really constitute evidence at all. Meanwhile, hundreds of other academics and scientists were publishing articles in peer-reviewed journals, and giving lectures around the world regarding the scientific data and evidence that’s already been obtained from the UFO phenomenon.

The fact that Neil has been popularized, and given a mainstream media platform, is dangerous. Because he’s been given so much credibility, his words have the power to influence the minds and perception of anyone watching.

Well, when it comes to the extraterrestrial hypothesis, there is, as a former NASA astronaut and Princeton physics professor once said, “abundant evidence that we are being contacted, that civilizations have been visiting us for a very long time.”

To portray the extraterrestrial hypothesis as ridiculous, which Neil does, is simply ignorant. From a scientific standpoint, witness testimony is not credible, but when you have several hundred individuals who’ve held high ranking positions within the military, the academic community, and within intelligence agencies as well as private military contractors like Lockheed Martin, telling us that some of these UFOs are indeed extraterrestrial in origin, and are much more technologically advanced than our own, it’s not something to ignore.

“There is a serious possibility that we are being visited and have been visited for many years by people from outer space, by other civilizations. Who they are, where they are from, and what they want should be the subject of rigorous scientific investigation and not be the subject of ‘rubishing’ by tabloid newspapers.” – Lord Admiral Hill-Norton, Former Chief of Defence Staff, 5 Star Admiral of the Royal Navy, Chairman of the NATO Military Committee.

Neill is also not taking into account the Black Budget, which funds programs that have no oversight from Congress, just as described by a 1997 U.S. senate report.

Does that mean the scientific developments within this world are not real because we don’t have access to them? Absolutely not.

Existence of UFOs ‘Proven Beyond Reasonable Doubt’, Says Former Chief of Real-Life ‘X-Files’ Department at the Pentagon

December 24, 2017            (dailymail.co.uk)

• The former head of a Pentagon UFO Program unveiled on December 16th, Luis Elizondo, said that UFOs visiting Earth has been ‘proved beyond reasonable doubt’. Elizondo told The Independent: “I think it’s pretty clear this is not us, and it’s not anyone else. So one has to ask the question where they’re from.”

• In addition to interviewing pilots and military personnel who reported experiences with UFOs ‘acting in a way that seemed to be beyond human beings’ current capabilities’, the program also investigated the science of ‘wormholes’ and ‘warp drives’. Elizondo further stated that UFOs have often been found near nuclear and power plants.

• Elizondo said he resigned from the Pentagon program in October because he believes the government needs to provide more funding and support to UFO research. He immediately joined up with Tom DeLonge to form ‘To The Stars Academy’.

• The DoD UFO program was created by then-Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nevada), with the support of the late Senators Daniel Inouye (D-Hawaii) and Republican Ted Stevens (R-Alaska), based upon their fears that the unexplained phenomena could be advanced weaponry or technology from foreign states such as Russia or China which could threaten the US, and therefore posed a national security issue.

• After seven years, and ‘very little to show for it’, Reid decided it wasn’t worth continuing. The program ostensibly ceased in 2012, but according to its backers the program remains in existence and officials continue to investigate UFO episodes brought to their attention by service members.

• Speaking to CNN, Elizondo said: ‘My personal belief is that there is very compelling evidence that we may not be alone. (see video below)

The former head of a Pentagon program to understand the mysteries of UFOs has said that such objects visiting Earth had been ‘proved beyond reasonable doubt’.

Speaking to The Telegraph, former Intelligence Officer Luis Elizondo said that unidentified flying objects of advanced capabilities have been seen ‘lots’ over the years.

Elizondo, who presided over the Advanced Aviation Threat Identification Program until two months ago, told The Independent: ‘I think it’s pretty clear this is not us, and it’s not anyone else, so one has to ask the question where they’re from.’

The program, inaugurated in 2007 and funded with $22million of government funds, was revealed to the public earlier this month.

Elizondo further said that UFOs have often been found near nuclear and power plants.

He said he resigned from his government job because he believes the government needs to provide more funding and support.

The Defense Department finally acknowledged the existence of its long-secret UFO investigation program earlier this month, when officials shifted attention and funding to other priorities.

Its initial funding came largely at the request of former Senate Democratic leader Harry Reid, the Nevada Democrat long known for his enthusiasm for space phenomena, the newspaper said.

The program was created by then-Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nevada), with the support of the late Senators Daniel Inouye (D-Hawaii) and Republican Ted Stevens (R-Alaska).

Their fears were that the unexplained phenomena could be advanced weaponry or technology from foreign states such as Russia or China which could threaten the US.

‘Was this China or Russia trying to do something or has some propulsion system we are not familiar with?’ a former staffer told Politico.

While Elizondo, who ran the initiative, stressed he wanted to take the ‘voodoo’ out of a ‘voodoo science,’ the program investigated some issues that sound like they’re straight out of a science fiction movie.

They included ‘wormholes’ and ‘warp drives’ as well as interviewing pilots and military personnel who reported experiences with UFOs.

Elizondo said that many of the Navy pilots described aircraft moving and acting in a way that seemed to be beyond human beings’ current capabilities.

‘We had never seen anything like it,’ he said.

The former staffer said that Reid believed there could be a valid national security issue and so agreed to fund the program.

But after a few years, and very little to show for it, Reid decided it wasn’t worth continuing.

‘After a while the consensus was we really couldn’t find anything of substance,’ he recalled. ‘They produced reams of paperwork. After all of that there was really nothing there that we could find. It all pretty much dissolved from that reason alone—and the interest level was losing steam. We only did it a couple years.’

‘There was really nothing there that we could justify using taxpayer money,’ he added. ‘We let it die a slow death. It was well spent money in the beginning.’

According to the Pentagon, the program ‘ended in the 2012 timeframe.’

Yet according to its backers, the program remains in existence and officials continue to investigate UFO episodes brought to their attention by service members, the newspaper said.
The Pentagon openly acknowledged the fate of the program in response to a Reuters query.
‘The Advanced Aviation Threat Identification Program ended in the 2012 timeframe,’ Pentagon spokeswoman Laura Ochoa said in an email.

‘It was determined that there were other, higher priority issues that merited funding and it was in the best interest of the DoD to make a change,’ she said.

But the Pentagon was less clear about whether the UFO program continues to hover somewhere in the vast universe of the U.S. defense establishment.

‘The DoD takes seriously all threats and potential threats to our people, our assets, and our mission and takes action whenever credible information is developed,’ Ochoa said.

What is less in doubt is former senator Reid’s enthusiasm for UFOs and his likely role in launching the Pentagon initiative to identify advanced aviation threats.

‘If you’ve talked to Harry Reid for 60 seconds then it’s the least surprising thing ever that he loves UFOs and got an earmark to study them,’ former Reid spokeswoman Kristen Orthman said in a message on Twitter.

Or as Reid himself said in a tweet that linked to the Times’ story: ‘The truth is out there. Seriously.’

Elizondo has since joined former Blink 182 vocalist Tom DeLonge’s company To The Stars Academy of Arts and Sciences – described as a ‘public benefit corporation’ that has ‘mobilized a team of the most experienced, connected and passionately curious minds from the U.S. intelligence community, including the CIA, Department of Defense, who have been operating under the shadows of top-secrecy for decades.’

Speaking to CNN, he said: ‘My personal belief is that there is very compelling evidence that we may not be alone.

Everything We Learned About (Probable) Aliens in 2017

by Lauren Tousignant          December 27, 2017            (nypost.com)

• 2017 marks the most convincing year yet for the belief that life must exist beyond our planet. Believing in extraterrestrial is no longer reserved for conspiracy theorists in tinfoil hats. Nearly half of humanity believes aliens are out there, according to a recent study.
Here are five stories that prove it’s only a matter of time before we meet our celestial neighbors:

• 1. Scientists keep finding Earth-like planets – In 2017 there were dozens of discoveries of earth-like “Super Earths” contained within a planetary “Goldilocks zone” where conditions are just right for water to exist.

• 2. Reported UFO sightings are at their highest ever – A George Mason University doctoral student found that UFO sightings have hit an all-time high and that most of the sightings come from the US. Since the first recorded UFO flew over Portugal in 1905, there have been at least 104,947 sightings. Annual sightings have spiked from about 5,000 in 1980 to about 45,000 in 2010.

• 3. Life may already be hanging out in our own solar system – NASA scientists revealed that ice planets, like Pluto and Neptune, could harbor life deep beneath their icy surfaces. Their moons could have enough gravitational pull to create energy beneath the planet’s surface – generating heat and allowing a sub-surface ocean to exist.

• 4. NASA hired someone to protect us from aliens – In August, NASA posted a job listing for a ‘planetary protection officer’ to make sure that spacecraft and astronauts don’t contaminate other worlds and don’t bring back anything that could contaminate our own. The job pays between $124,406 and $187,000 and is only one of two full-time posts in the world. The applications closed on August 14th and there’s been no update on who landed the gig.

• 5. The Pentagon has receipts – In December, the Pentagon released footage of Navy F/A-18F ‘Hornet’ pilots off the coast of California tracking a glowing white orb rotating while the pilots try to figure out what they’re looking at. Cmdr. David Fravor, one of the pilots who saw the UFO, said, “It was a real object, it exists and I saw it.” It resembled a white Tic Tac and was “something not from the earth.”

The truth is probably already here.

The evidence that aliens exist has been slowly mounting for decades and 2017 marks the most convincing year yet for the belief that life must exist beyond our planet.

And believing in the extraterrestrial is no longer reserved for conspiracy theorists in tinfoil hats. Nearly half of humanity believes aliens are out there, according to a recent study, and in June, the European Space Agency signed off on a $668 million mission that will hunt for other life forms 932,000 miles into space. Meanwhile, scientists continue to be baffled by a bunch of mysterious signals that keep emanating from faraway galaxies.

Here are five stories that prove it’s only a matter of time before we meet our celestial neighbors.

1. Scientists keep finding Earth-like planets

Scientists have long presumed that if we’re going to find life on other planets, we’re going to find them in the “Goldilocks zone” — spots throughout the universe where conditions are just right for water to exist.

The intergalactic search for our neighbors grew more promising in 2017 with dozens more “super-Earth” discoveries.

And even though we don’t yet have the technology to reach these planets, 2017’s “super-Earths” have included:
• Wolf 1061c: Discovered in January, located 14 light years away

• LHS 1140b: Discovered in April, located 40 light years away

• Ross 128b: Discovered in November, located 11 light years away

• K2-18b: Discovered in December, located 111 light years away

In June, NASA’s Kepler telescope found 10 “Goldilocks-zone” planets and in October, the telescope found 20 more “hiding in plain sight.”

“Are we alone?” Kepler scientist Mario Perez asked at a news conference following NASA’s June discovery. “Maybe Kepler today has told us indirectly, although we need confirmation, that we are probably not alone.”

2. Reported UFO sightings are at their highest ever

In February, a doctoral student found that UFO sightings have hit an all-time high and that most of the sightings come from the US.

Sam Manafort, who’s studying Human Factors and Applied Cognition at George Mason University, crunched numbers from the National UFO Reporting Center. In his report, he found that since the first recorded UFO flew over Portugal in 1905, there have been at least 104,947 sightings.

But the number of yearly sightings has spiked dramatically from about 5,000 in 1980 to about 45,000 in 2010. In the US alone, there are 2,500 sightings per 10 million people — something Manafort attributes to the fact that most of the US has access to the internet.

Most of the sightings have come from the West and Northwest, an area that lines up with America’s “UFO highway” — a latitude line across the U.S. that a pair of sibling alien hunters believes is an entrance for extraterrestrial spacecraft.

The duo, whose book “37th Parallel” is being made into a movie, state that during years-long travels across the US, the most bizarre paranormal phenomenon took place along the 37th latitude line.

This line stretches from California through Nevada, Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, Illinois, Kentucky and across to Virginia.

3. Life may already be hanging out in our own solar system

Pluto might have been demoted from a planet to a dwarf planet back in 2006, but the icy world could be holding a lot more than hurt feelings.

In November, NASA scientists revealed that ice planets, like Pluto and Neptune, could harbor life deep beneath their icy surfaces, thanks to their moons.

Dubbed Trans-Neptunian objects, these celestial bodies might benefit from tidal heating. This means that these icy planets have moons with enough gravitational pull to create energy beneath the planet’s surface — which generates heat and allows a sub-surface ocean to exist. The findings were published in Icarus.

“These objects need to be considered as potential reservoirs of water and life,” Prabal Saxena of NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center said in a press release. “If our study is correct, we now may have more places in our solar system that possess some of the critical elements for extraterrestrial life.”

A separate study published in May suggested that Pluto, Saturn’s moon Enceladus and Jupiter’s moon Europa may have life due to a different process known as radiolysis. And in December, the American Geophysical Union reported that tectonic activity on Europacould be feeding life to Jupiter’s icy moon.

4. NASA hired someone to protect us from aliens

In August, NASA posted a job listing that quickly went viral.

The space agency was looking to hire a planetary protection officer — someone in charge of making sure that spacecraft and astronauts don’t contaminate other worlds and don’t bring back anything that could contaminate our own.

“NASA maintains policies for planetary protection applicable to all space flight missions that may intentionally or unintentionally carry Earth organisms and organic constituents to the planets or other solar system bodies and any mission employing spacecraft, which are intended to return to Earth and its biosphere with samples from extraterrestrial targets of exploration,” the job description stated.

US Navy Pilot Who Flew Close to UFO Discloses: A Technology That’s “Not From This World”

by Arjun Walia          December 21, 2017          (collective-evolution.com)

• For the first time in history the United States has released official footage of a real UFO – referring to the recent cockpit video showing an encounter between two Navy F/A-18 Super Hornets and an unknown “tic tac” object – apparently one of multiple objects travelling against 120 mph wind at a speed faster than the jet interceptors.

• Within the mainstream, this is new information and has never before received this type of serious inquiry and revelation.

• The pilot of one of the F/A-18 Super Hornets, David Fravor, states, “As I got close to it, probably within a mile to half a mile, it rapidly accelerated to the south and disappeared in less than two seconds…It had no wings…there’s no roters (like a helicopter)…this was extremely abrupt like a ping pong ball bouncing off the wall it would hit and go the other way and change directions at will. And then the ability to hover over the water and then start a vertical climb from basically zero up towards about 12000 feet, and then accelerate in less than 2 seconds and disappear – it is something I had never seen in my life.” (see five-minute video of former Navy pilot David Fravor below)

• When it comes to information sharing, mainstream media and the government have always used, distorted and completely changed information to shape the perception of world events such as 9/11. This is why it’s important to exercise caution and critical thinking. Is the existence of UFOs being used for an ulterior motive the same way “weapons of mass destruction” and terrorism was used to push political global elitist agenda?

[Editor’s Note] This UFO video and accompanying information comes from Tom DeLonge and his group of former CIA, US Air Force, and Pentagon officials now calling themselves ‘To The Stars Academy’. In a December 24, 2017 article by Michael Salla in Exopolitics.org, Dr Salla points out that Tom DeLonge’s 2016 “fiction-based-on-fact” book, Sekret Machines, downplays any existence of extraterrestrials, but attributes both the United States’ and Russia’s development of anti-gravity propulsion technology to the reverse-engineering of advanced Nazi German technology. Dr Salla suggests that this recent DOD disclosure may be a “limited hangout” partial disclosure, setting things up to eventually identify the tic tac UFO as Russian in order to obfuscate the government elite’s existing and far-reaching Secret Space Program, and to fuel a new round of anti-Russian (and anti-Chinese) hysteria in the United States to induce massive expenditures for the construction of a new anti-gravity fleet of spacecraft to counter this new Russian technology.

The US Department of Defense recently admitted to running, tracking, monitoring and sending military jet pilots to intercept UFOs. Although they claim the program ended a few years ago, insiders from within the Pentagon, including the former director of the program, Louis Elizondo, say the program is still in operation today.

Regardless, for the first time in history the United States has released official footage of a real UFO. The video shows an encounter between two Navy F/A-18 Super Hornets and an unknown object. This has hit multiple mainstream media platforms, and it’s concerning because it’s been more than a decade and there are now millions of pages of documents from military, governments and intelligence agencies detailing hundreds, if not thousands of UFO encounters.

These encounters have had multiple factors in common, one being the fact that they can travel at speeds no known air-craft in the world can. Secondly, they perform maneuvers that no known air-craft can perform, and last but not least, jet interceptors, when approaching the vicinity of the object, commonly experience critical instrumentation (weapons and electronic equipment) failure.

This may be new information within the mainstream, as it’s never received this type of serious inquiry and revelation before, but for those who have been researching this subject for a long time, this type of thing is a common occurrence, and the most shocking footage that’s been held by the Department of Defense and governments of this world is, most likely, a lot more eye opening.

That being said, the incident below is also quite extraordinary. This is one of multiple objects from the video, which was travelling against 120 mph wind at a speed faster than the jet interceptors.

The one this pilot is describing is a glowing white bright object, approximately the size of an airplane. He also mentions seeing two other smaller objects which came out of the bigger one.

“As I got close to it, probably within a mile to half a mile, it rapidly accelerated to the south and and disappeared in less than two seconds…It had no wings…there’s no roters (like a helicopter)…this was extremely abrupt like a ping pong ball bouncing off the wall it would hit and go the other way and change directions at will. And then the ability to hover over the water and then start a vertical climb from basically zero up towards about 12000 feet, and then accelerate in less than 2 seconds and disappear – it is something I had never seen in my life.”

The pilot’s name is David Fravor.

You’re Not Crazy if You Believe in UFOs. Let’s Discuss in Scientific Terms.

by Alexandra Ossola           December 20, 2017               (futurism.com)

• Now that we have government-sanctioned evidence of intelligent non-terrestrial life by the December 16th revelations of a Pentagon-run UFO program and cockpit audio/video of a Navy F/A-18F Super Hornets chasing a pill-shaped UFO in 2004, the question become what will it take to overcome the deeply engrianed stigma and take the reality of UFOs seriously?

• With sixty years of folklore and Hollywood trivializing the subject in the minds of the general public, believing in the paranormal has become shorthand for crazy. Former Senate Majority Leader and funding sponsor for the Pentagon UFO program, Harry Reid, said, “ sightings were not often reported up the military’s chain of command because service members were afraid they would be laughed at or stigmatized.” Luis Elizondo, the CIA official formerly in charge of the Pentagon UFO program said, “…that stigma is pretty powerful. It stops a lot of people from reporting something maybe they would normally report.”

• But government officials are no longer hiding their belief that extraterrestrials might be out there. Could this be a turning point for once-fringe UFO community who have been telling anyone who would listen about this remarkable moment in human history?

• According to a 2015 poll, more than half of Americans believe that aliens exist. Scientists have evaluated what distinguishes believers and non-believers and didn’t find much difference between them. Conspiracy theories about UFOs, in particular, are pretty widespread, and they have a psychological appeal that goes against the stereotype of weirdos wearing tinfoil hats. Most of the time, people who believe are psychologically normal.

• Now that information about the Pentegon UFO program (officially called the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program) has spilled out, it raises the hope that the government might release evidence that could more clearly indicate the presence of extraterrestrials. Chase Kloetzke, the deputy director of investigations at MUFON, believes that the government does have a smoking gun. There is “physical material [the government] has been holding and analyzing… We’re pushing down the doors. We’re trying to breach this information,” says Kloetzke.

• Opinions vary on how much evidence is enough to prove the existence of extraterrestrials. Says Chase Kloetzke, “I think most people are going to need a craft to land in Central Park [to believe UFOs are real]”.

On December 16, the New York Times published two stories that read almost like science fiction. For at least five years, the Defense Department housed a $22-million, clandestine program to investigate UFOs. Military pilots had sent in reports of objects they observed that moved in unfamiliar ways; the mission of the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program, as it was called, was to investigate those claims to see if there was truly something otherworldly behind those sightings.

It’s unclear just how many reports pilots had filed to the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program, but people who have come forward about the program have made it clear that there would have been a lot more reports filed if it hadn’t been for one thing: stigma. “The sightings were not often reported up the military’s chain of command, [former senator Harry Reid] said, because service members were afraid they would be laughed at or stigmatized,” one Times piece reads.

American culture is steeped in depictions of what would happen if sophisticated aliens visited Earth, from E.T. to Arrival to Independence Day. Some are more hackneyed than others; some are downright terrifying. But outside the clear genres of fiction, most conversations about UFOs happen online, and with varying degrees of vehemence.

Let’s face it — believing in the paranormal has become shorthand for crazy.

“60 years of folklorization and Hollywood production have, in the minds of the general public, definitely trivialized the subject. It has become a ‘standard’ consumer product,” Jean-Christophe Doré, the technical manager for UFO-SCIENCE, the French association that aims to scientifically evaluate aspects of UFO phenomena, tells Futurism.

But to some, that association might be changing. Luis Elizondo, the military official formerly in charge of the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program, told The New York Times’ Daily podcast: “I think we’re entering an era of actual evidence. We’ve reached a moment of critical mass of credible witnesses, and these are witnesses that are in charge of multi-million-dollar weapon platforms with, in some cases, the highest level of security clearances and in some cases they’re trained observers. When these individuals are trying to report something, ‘Hey I saw this when I was flying,’ that can be turned around and people say ‘hey look if you’re crazy, there goes your flight status.’ Or all of a sudden commander so-and-so in charge of this very elite fighter wing will no longer be taken seriously. In fact, people are going to start to judge whether or not maybe our friend here might not be a little crazy, or maybe some loose screws. That’s always a threat to these people’s career. And let’s face it, these people have to pay their taxes, they have to pay their mortgages, they have families, they’re putting their kids through school. And frankly, they’re just really good patriots and they want to do the right thing. And that stigma is pretty powerful. It stops a lot of people from reporting something maybe they would normally report.”

Government officials are no longer hiding their belief that extraterrestrials might be out there. Could this be a turning point for once-fringe communities and open doors for those looking to bring scientific rigor to the quest to understand UFOs?

Logical Fallacy

Most phenomena thought to be the doings of extraterrestrials are eventually explained. Take Project Blue Book, for example, the U.S. government’s program to investigate unidentified flying objects that ran from 1947 until 1969. Of the more than 12,000 reported sightings, investigators found out the real (not paranormal) story for all but 700 or so. That’s a pretty good percentage, says Joe Nickell, senior research fellow at the Committee for Skeptical Inquiry and paranormal investigator — about as much as you’d expect from any other scientific discipline. “A lot of these cases are never going to be solved because I don’t know what you think you saw 10 years ago. They’re not investigatable,” Nickell tells Futurism.

In other disciplines, a certain amount of uncertainty will mean that more studies are needed to definitely prove a link. But that’s not what happens with UFOs. “We spend all these years, virtually our entire lives (it’s what I’m doing with mine), and we’re solving most cases. We’re down to, say, 5 percent [that we can’t explain], and we’re arguing over the 5 percent,” Nickell says. You give someone a level-headed, thorough, earthly explanation for a particular report, and they’ll just respond, “But what about this other one?” This is, as Nickell points out, an argument from ignorance — in essence, X must be true because you can’t prove that X is false. “Why don’t we assume that, if we can explain 95 percent, that if we knew the answer, it would fall into the same category as the others?” Nickell says.

Belief in extraterrestrials is fueled by a lack of evidence, not its presence. For some people, that’s enough.

The Psychology Of Believers

More than half of Americans believe that aliens exist, according to a 2015 poll. Scientists have evaluated what distinguishes believers and non-believers and didn’t find much, the Conversation notes. But people that believe they had an abduction experience, perhaps a more extreme form of belief, are more likely to have fantasy-prone personalities, have experienced childhood trauma, or be prone to hypnosisthat can make them suggestible to false memories, studies have shown. That doesn’t mean they’re lying about their experiences — they often genuinely believe they happened — but those experiences were often not quite what the individuals thought they were.

What distinguishes people who believe in Big Foot, for example, from those who believe in UFOs? It’s the suspicion of government involvement, Nickell says. More people believe in conspiracies than ever; if someone were looking to find a black-ops government program and a conspiracy to keep it secret, they’d find the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program.

“I think, for most people who believe in these UFO claims, it’s tied up with conspiracy. If you want to believe that UFOs are visiting the planet, there kind of has to be a cover up,” Rob Brotherton, a psychology professor at Barnard College and the author of Suspicious Minds: Why We Believe Conspiracy Theories, tells Futurism. And because they’re built on secrecy, it’s really hard to disprove a conspiracy theory, Brotherton points out.

Conspiracy theories about UFOs, in particular, are pretty widespread, and they have a psychological appeal that goes against the stereotype of weirdos wearing tinfoil hats. Conspiracy theories rely on the same pattern-recognition techniques we use in our daily lives, and in science as well. “Conspiracy theories make for great stories, they’re tantalizing, mysteries not yet fully solved. Your brain is like, ‘What’s up with that?’ it’s not satisfied until it knows if these things are related.”

Most of the time, people who believe in them are psychologically normal. But the belief that the government or aliens are specifically pursuing you as an individual — a me and not an us focus —might indicate a psychiatric disorder like schizophrenia, though that would be one of a number of symptoms.

“It’s not impossible [that extraterrestrials are visiting Earth],” Brotherton says. “Maybe they’re technologically advanced, maybe they are able to make it here. That’s not beyond the realms of possibility; it doesn’t defy the laws of physics necessarily. It’s worth keeping an eye out for this stuff.”

Worthy of Pursuit

Science hinges on discovery and the pursuit to understand the unknown. It’s not out of the realm of possibility, then, that some of these UFO reports are worthy of rigorous investigation. They could reveal something new about atmospheric phenomena, or physics, or, yes, possibly even extraterrestrials.

It’s not easy to separate the mysterious sightings, the ones that could yield something scientifically interesting, from the sightings that can quickly be resolved. “These are, almost by definition, unusual things to start with, something in the sky that we don’t know what it is. We don’t see them every night. So we have no idea [at the beginning of an investigation] if they’re going to be productive or not,” Nickell says.

Crowds Stop in the Street and Stare Up at the Sky as Mesmerising ‘Giant White Ball’ UFOs Are Seen Floating Above Mexico City

by Alex Greenland and Jessica Green        December 19, 2017       (dailymail.co.uk)

•   Crowds in Mexico City stopped and stared at the sky December 15th at five “white ball” UFOs that hovered in the sky for the better part of an hour.    (see video)

Crowds in Mexico City stopped and stared at the sky as hypnotising ‘giant white ball’ UFOs hovered above them.

In the startling footage five white balls are seen above the Mexican capital.  Hundreds of people gathered on pavements transfixed by the unexplained sight.

In the footage from the afternoon of December 15 members of the public gather along a roadside and point up at the baffling circles of light.

One eyewitness told local media: ‘There were five balls and they were moving, now they are moving around together. ‘I have been here for 20 minutes and they are still there.’

So far there has been no official explanation for the phenomena.

A Close Encounter In 1937 Fontana

by Cheryl Costa        Dec 11, 2017        (syracusenewtimes.com)

• This is the account of an experiencer who saw a UFO when he was a kid growing up in Fontana, California, just east of Los Angeles.

• In August 1937, “Harry” was walking down a rural road outside of Fontana with his two younger brothers. There were no streetlights or traffic at all. The sun had just set. Suddenly a bright light hovered over them. The boys ran into an orange grove to hide, and the light/craft followed them. “It was brighter than daylight under the orange tree that we were under,” said Harry. Just as suddenly, the light went out and the frightened boys ran home.

• For years afterward, Harry would remember waking up at night with his bedroom dimly lit and four or five “little people with big heads and dark eyes” moving around him and touching him. They were the same size as Harry.  He was never afraid and was never hurt by them. Occasionally a taller being would be standing in the doorway directing the little people.

• Says Harry today, “I’m not too sure if they were real or not anymore. But the older I get, the more I think there is more to my story then I originally thought.”

• For some reason, this corridor – from Los Angeles to San Bernardino (Fontana is located about halfway) – has always experienced a high volume of UFO sightings and ET visitations. From 2001 through 2015, the state of California had the most reports of UFO sightings in the country at 15,836.

Fontana, Calif., was founded in 1913 by Azariel Blanchard Miller. For the next 30 years it remained little more than a small rural village.

It was the dog days of August 1937, when the Great Depression still ruled America. Harry, his two younger brothers and his parents lived on the outskirts of Fontana in an old tractor barn. It wasn’t fancy, but it was shelter and the family was all together.

The three brothers were out walking one evening in an area where there were no streetlights and no automobile traffic. It was just after sunset and getting darker fast.

Suddenly the three boys were startled by the appearance of a very bright light that silently hovered above them.

Harry remembered, “We just stood and looked up at this brilliant glowing cylinder. It didn’t move, and we didn’t either. Puzzled, we asked each other what it was. Of course we were kids; we weren’t able to even make a guess.”

The boys quickly became afraid, and they ran into an orange grove to hide. “But the light just moved with us,” Harry said. “It was brighter than daylight under the orange tree that we were under.”

Frightened out of their wits, the brothers tried to figure out what to do next. “Then just as unexpectedly as the light had started, the light just abruptly went out.”

The boys stayed under the trees until they got up enough nerve to run for home. “This was a long time before anyone ever said they had seen an UFO or little green men.” Harry explained.

But sometimes a UFO incident isn’t just a sighting. On occasion these events are of an initiating nature that can go on for years.

“For a long time after that event, I had what I thought were dreams,” Harry said. “I would awake in a room with subdued light, with four or five of the little people with big heads and dark eyes. These little people were about as tall as I was and would be moving all around and touching me. I was never too afraid of them. I can’t ever recall being hurt in any way.”

Occasionally in Harry’s dreams, a door would open with a bright light. In the doorway there would be a tall person.

“I could never tell what he looked like. All I could see was his shadow, he would say something to the little people and they would leave. And soon after I would awake in my bed.”

Harry has struggled for years with these memories, whether or not these were real events or just fantasy dreams.

“I’m not too sure if they were real or not anymore. People have a hard time believing what you tell them you have seen. But the older I get, the more I think there is more to my story then I originally thought.”

UFOs Saved Earth From Devastating Meteor Strike, Claim Conspiracy Theorists

By Sean Martin        December 12, 2017         (express.co.uk)

• On February 15, 2013, a 20-meter meteor exploded over Chelyabinsk, Russia, smashing windows and causing over 1,000 injuries. But it didn’t impact the Earth. If it had, it would have been devastating to the entire planet.

• Russian UFO enthusiasts have closely studied video at different angles of the meteor’s decent and explosion in the atmosphere, and they are certain that another smaller “UFO” type object streaked in from above the planet colliding with the meteor and causing it to explode before impacting the Earth.

• In 1908, a similar incident took place when a small asteroid exploded over Siberia’s Tunguska region, devastating 800 miles of woodland. The Russians believe an outside object crashed into that meteor as well, saving the world. Metallic fragments not native to this planet were recovered from the Tunguska site, indicating that the object that hit the meteor was destroyed. “If not for the intervention of the UFO in the Tunguska event, the Earth could have been plunged into a second stone age.”

The 20 metre meteor exploded over Chelyabinsk, Russia, in 2013, which smashed windows and caused injuries to more than 1,000 people in the area.

Experts had not anticipated the incident, leading to fears Earth could be surprised by a more devastating asteroid strike in the future.

But, conspiracy theorists are now claiming a more intelligent species than humankind had predicted the event, and duly intercepted it to save Russia.

UFO believers studied videos of the incident and state there is an object which can be seen crashing into the rock from outer space.

Alexander Komanev, coordinator for the Russian UFO community in Yekaterinburg, said: “At first, we also believed the Chelyabinsk meteorite was just an ordinary meteorite, a cosmic body.”

However, on closer inspection, Mr Komanev says “you can see how an object catches the meteorite”, adding a much smaller object “flies into it – and the meteorite explodes and falls”.

He adds: “Such a number of videos, made from different angles, leads us to believe that something has blown up the meteorite.”

In 1908, a similar incident took place when a small asteroid exploded over Siberia’s Tunguska which ruined woodlands across 800 miles.

Russian conspiracy theorists also believe aliens saved the world in that event too.

Chicago Tribune: An open letter to alien life forms on Earth

by Editorial Board           December 19, 2017            (chicagotribune.com)

[Editor’s Note]   This is an open letter by the Chicago Tribune Editorial Board, following the revelation that the Pentagon ran a $22 million program to investigate UFOs, and the release of a cockpit video of a Navy jet in pursuit of a UFO over the Pacific Ocean off of San Diego.

Merry Christmas!

Dear aliens,

You may have been amused by a recent news story (you do read The Chicago Tribune and its competitors, right?) about the latest chapter in America’s long, futile, semi-secret, widely mocked efforts to unmask you, to prove that your spaceships have been hovering, darting and befuddling fighter pilots with impossible aerobatics for decades.

The latest episode, revealed in The New York Times: The Pentagon spent millions over several years on a top-secret Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program to investigate UFOs.

The Pentagon says the program was shut down in 2012. Ha ha! Who believes that? You know humans won’t quit pursuing you. We are too curious and persistent.

Seriously, we know you are here. How else to explain all those alleged sightings, including the video from a 2004 encounter between a Navy F/A-18 Super Hornet and a UFO. “There’s a whole fleet of them … they’re all going against the wind,” an awestruck pilot radios to a comrade. “The wind’s 120 knots to the west. Look at that thing, dude.”

Gives us chills just listening to that exchange and watching that video of a darting space-crafty blip on the radar screen.

One Navy pilot who encountered that craft recently told The Washington Post: “It was a real object; it exists and I saw it.”

What was it? “Something not from the Earth,” he said.

Off-world friends, please show yourselves. If you are as technologically advanced as we suspect, what’s the harm? And, truthfully, aren’t you getting tired of flitting around the planet, playing hide-and-seek?

Bonus incentive: How about we throw in a free iPhone X for your crew members?

We guarantee the planet’s inhabitants will celebrate your arrival. (Never mind “The Day The Earth Stood Still” and its ilk.) You’ll be instant celebrities. Bigger than Trump. Even He of the Globe-sized Ego will have to admit that.

If you come down to Earth now, you will save humans decades of constructing conspiracy theories about Area 51, yearning to know if we are truly alone — and spending a lot more government money to ferret out the truth.

In October, a group called Messaging Extraterrestrial Intelligence, or METI International, beamed a message at a star a dozen light-years away with a possibly inhabitable planet. METI’s ice-breaking message, sent via radio telescope, included the universal languages of music and math.

Yes, we know that famed theoretical physicist Stephen Hawking has warned against sending such messages, lest space invaders find us to be easily vanquishable. Those space marauders may be so powerful that they “may not see us as any more valuable than we see bacteria,” Hawking cautions.

Hawking also predicts that humans have about 1,000 years to master space travel and populate a new planet if the species is to survive. He believes climate change, asteroid strikes, epidemics and population growth make a long-term future on Earth problematic at best.

Is that your strategy, aliens? Wait us out for the next 10 centuries, then claim this splendid blue orb?

We hope not. That would be a terrible anticlimax for those of us eager for first contact sooner than, say, 3018.

Come on, extraterestrials, let’s cut out the chase. We’re here. You’re here. Let’s meet.

A Strange Encounter with Angels In Space

by Brent Swancer         December 13, 2017          (mysteriousuniverse.org)

• In April 1982, the Soviets launched its Salyut 7 space station as a test program for modular design space stations and a precursor to the Mir space station. The Salyut 7 stayed in orbit for 8 years and 10 months.

• In June 1984, on its 155th day in orbit, the three crew members of the Salyut 7 suddenly reported a bright orange light around the space station. When they looked out of the porthole they saw seven enormous, winged humanoid angelic figures about 90 feet tall with calm, smiling faces hovering beside the space station. The crew said that they did not feel alarm but wonderment, and a feeling of calm and peace exuding from these beings. The beings stayed with the space station for about 10 minutes before fading away. Afterward, the three cosmonauts discussed it, determined that they had all seen the same thing but agreed that it must have been a trick of the mind.

• On day 167 of the mission, three more cosmonauts joined the space station. Not long after, the space station was again bathed in this orange light. This time all six of the crew looked out of the portholes to see several of the massive angelic beings with smiling faces floating just outside of their station.

• The crew were instructed to never to discuss what they had seen and the Soviet government covered it all up. Intensive physical and psychological tests showed that the crew were of perfectly sound body and mind. Still, they all gave the exact same description of winged, angelic entities with smiling faces.

• An interesting note, the first human to go into space, cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin, had his own encounter twenty years earlier in April of 1961. At two points during his spaceflight aboard the Vostok-1, Gagarin inexplicably went silent. He couldn’t recall what had happened. During hypnotic regression, Gagarin claimed that he could remember seeing an enormous figure floating in space in front of him, and that he had heard a voice in his head saying, “Do not worry, everything will be fine. You’ll come back to Earth,” before the apparition vanished into thin air right before his eyes.

Space is often touted as the last frontier, the final wilderness that we have yet to tame or understand, and in many ways this is very true. We have only within the last century really begun to comprehend some of its secrets to any appreciable degree, and there are certainly wonders beyond our imagination for us yet to behold. Yet some mysteries that have been encountered out there in the cold dark of space go well beyond conventional understanding, to propel out into the world of the paranormal and the universe of the truly bizarre. Certainly ranking among these mysteries is a curious close encounter between some of the first people in space and, well, something else.

In April of 1982, the Soviet Union launched its ambitious Salyut 7 space station as part of the Soviet Salyut Programme, which started in 1971 and had the aim of eventually sending up a total of four crewed scientific research space stations and two crewed military reconnaissance space stations. The last to be launched in the program and a precursor to the Mir space station, the Salyut 7 was the 10th space station ever put into orbit by mankind, and was designed to serve as a sort of test of a new system of modular space stations, which entailed the ability to attach new modules to expand the station or adapt it to whatever functions were required, as well as an outpost for various off-planet experiments. The Salyut 7 would end up staying in orbit for a total of 8 years and 10 months, which up until that time was the longest such a station had ever remained in continuous orbit. It is also known for a very bizarre series of bizarre, unexplained events witnessed by the crew.

In July of 1984, the Salyut 7 was on the 155th day of its mission and things were going in a routine fashion until there was a sudden transmission from cosmonauts Commander Oleg Atkov, Vladmir Solovyov, and Leonid Kizim in which they claimed that the space station had suddenly been surrounded by an oppressive, blinding orange light. The crew of three aboard the Salyut 7 all then allegedly looked out of the portals to try and see what was causing this inexplicable brilliant glow. At this point they would witness probably the last thing they had expected to see out there.

There hovering in space in front of the space station were what the crew would describe as seven enormous winged humanoid beings estimated as being around 90 feet in height and with calm, smiling faces, and it was from these bizarre entities that the ethereal light was apparently emanating. They were also claimed to exude a feeling of calm and peacefulness, and oddly the cosmonauts felt no fear during the encounter, merely wonderment. According to the witnesses, the colossal apparitions, which they described as “angels,” matched the speed of the space station, remaining in the same position for around 10 minutes before fading away. Baffled by what they had all just seen, the three cosmonauts had a heated discussion on what the beings were and what rational explanation could account for it, but they could come up with nothing. In the end, although they had all seen exactly the same thing, they chalked it up to the stresses and rigors of being in space for so long, resigning themselves to the explanation that their minds had simply been playing tricks on them.

They may have gone on forever convinced that this was some sort of mass hallucination and a bout of temporary insanity, but it would not be their last encounter with these otherworldly beings. On Day 167 of the mission, the Salyut gained an additional three cosmonauts in the form of Svetlana Savitskaya, Igor Volk and Vladimir Dzhanibekov. Not long after these new crew members boarded, the station was once again bathed in that potent, bedazzling light, and this time all six of the crew looked out of the portholes to see several of the massive angelic beings swimming through the blackness of space outside, again with their benevolent smiling faces. Considering that this time they had again all seen the same thing, it appeared that there was perhaps something more going on beyond simple hallucinations.

When the Salyut mission was concluded and the cosmonauts returned to Earth, their strange experiences were allegedly covered up and swept under the carpet by the Soviet government, and the witnesses told in no uncertain terms that they were never to discuss what they had seen up there. Interestingly, intensive rounds of physical and psychological tests performed on the space station crew supposedly showed nothing out of the ordinary whatsoever. They were perfectly sound of body and mind.

Considering the thick secrecy surrounding the odd events, the story did not really get any wider coverage until after the Cold War, but when it did get out it immediately ignited a firestorm of debate and speculation as to what the cosmonauts had really seen. The most rational and scientific answer is that these cosmonauts experienced what they had suspected in the beginning, which is some sort of mass hallucination or madness brought on by the demanding stresses, fatigue, and the harsh conditions of space. After all, no one had ever really spent this much time continuously in space before, and so it should be only natural that they should have such visions.

Indeed, such surreal visual phenomena have been reported by other astronauts and cosmonauts who have been in space for long periods of time, and even earthbound pilots on long, demanding flights. The problem with this explanation is that six seasoned, experienced cosmonauts all saw the same thing at the same time, and all of them were given clean bills of mental and physical health afterward, making it seem rather unlikely that this could all be in their heads. It also seems rather implausible that a group of six highly trained, well-respected cosmonauts would get together and make up such a story as a hoax.

Another Director for Lockheed Skunkworks Mentions A Craft With A Drive That Alters Space and Time

by Arjun Walia       December 11, 2017        (collective-evolution.com)

• In this 1min 14 sec video (below), former Director of Advanced Systems at Lockheed Skunkworks, Steve justice, describes an advanced propulsion technology (or rather, teleportation technology).

• Lockheed Martin is a military contractor known for building some of the most advanced technologies known to man, but which have been hidden in Black Budget programs that have absolutely no oversight from Congress. The same type of secrecy surrounds what is known as The Secret Space Program.

• Recently retired from Lockheed, Justice has joined Tom DeLonge’s ‘To The Stars Academy’ to help in releasing government video and documents pertaining to the UFO phenomenon, to bring forth technologies that will help humanity thrive.

• Mr Justice says that it would be an understatement to call the technologies he’s been around, worked with, and seen “revolutionary”. In particular, Justice describes a “point-to-point transportation craft that will erase the current travel limits of distance and time… by employing a driver system that alters space-time metric”. This technology “mimics the capabilities observed in unidentified aerial phenomenon”. In other words, this technology is derived from UFOs that utilize a device that solves the problem of distance and time, making it easy to travel ‘impossible’ distances in a short period of time.

Lockheed Martin is a military contractor that manufactures advanced aircraft and propulsion systems. They’re known for building some of the most advanced technologies known to man, and for years, all of the engineering, science, and technology, for the most part, has been locked up in Black Budget programs that have absolutely no oversight from Congress. This is according to a 1997 U.S Senate report. This means that nobody, not even those who have ‘high level’ positions within the military, political, and intelligence communities, knows exactly what’s going on.

Many of these programs are completely unacknowledged, and the United States has had a history of government agencies existing in secret for years. While the National Security Agency (NSA) was founded in 1952, its existence was hidden until the mid 1960s. Even more secretive is the National Reconnaissance Office, which was founded in 1960 but remained completely secret for 30 years, along with all of the technology it was using.

The same type of secrecy surrounds our space program, and what’s now known as The Secret Space program. Who knows what’s really going on up there.

“It is ironic that the U.S. would begin a devastating war, allegedly in search of weapons of mass destruction, when the most worrisome developments in this field are occurring in your own backyard. It is ironic that the U.S. should be fighting monstrously expensive wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, allegedly to bring democracy to those countries, when it itself can no longer claim to be called a democracy, when trillions, and I mean thousands of billions of dollars have been spent on projects about which both the Congress and the Commander in Chief have been kept deliberately in the dark.” – Former Canadian Defence Minister Paul Hellyer

This is why when Steve Justice, the recently retired Director of Advanced Systems at Lockheed Skunkworks, signed on board with To The Stars Academy, it raised some eyebrows. To The Stars is an initiative to let the public know that Unidentified Flying Objects are real, and they commonly perform maneuvers that defy our known laws of physics. It’s goal, one out of many, is to bring forth these technologies that have been locked up in the black budget world in order to help humanity thrive.

They will be working directly with the U.S. government to release video footage, documents, and more. Now, what does this all mean? What are the intentions? Who is providing these people with information, and who is providing the U.S. government with information? Those are completely different topics, but it would be sensible to exercise caution, as it’s not uncommon for Western governments, corporations, and media to deceive us, to twist stories for their own personal gain. This is also a possibility with regards to the UFO phenomenon.

So, what did Mr. Justice have to say? Well, a lot of things. One of the first statements he made using the To The Stars platform is that, when it comes to the technologies he’s been around, worked with, and seen, it would be an understatement to call them revolutionary.

He also stated, while discussing the concept for the craft that To The Stars plans to build, the following: “This is a concept for an international point-to-point transportation craft that will erase the current travel limits of distance and time. It mimics the capabilities observed in unidentified aerial phenomenon by employing a driver system that alters space-time metric. We have glimpses of how the physics of this works, but we need to harvest technologies from the Science Division to “realize” the capability.”

By making this statement, he is telling the world that Unidentified Flying Objects (which are commonly tracked on military radar) utilize a device that somehow combats the problem of distance and time, making it easy for them to travel what we humans perceive as great and impossible distances in a short period of time.

“There is another way, whether it’s wormholes, or warping space, there’s got to be a way to generate energy so that you can pull it out of the vacuum, and the fact that they’re [extraterrestrials] here shows us that they found a way.” – Jack Kasher, Ph.D, Professor Emeritus of Physics, University of Nebraska.
