Space Force Chief Scientist Predicts AI-Augmented Human Soldiers
Article by Adam Smith April 30, 2021 (independent.co.uk)
• During a recent online event at the Airforce Research Laboratory, the US Space Force’s chief scientist, Dr Joel Mozer, said that “human augmentation” is “imperative” in order for it to maintain military dominance. There will be “unimaginable” advances made over the next decade in areas including artificial intelligence, that would make the military able to strategize tactics that “no human could”, said Dr Mozer. “’Today, we’re on the brink of a new age: the age of human augmentation.”
• Future battle commanders will have multiple autonomous agents at their disposal, each able to control reconnaissance, fire control, or attack. “You could put [a soldier] into a ‘state of flow’, where learning is optimized and retention is maximized,” Dr Mozer said. “This individual could be shaped into somebody with very high-performing potential.” But ultimately, “autonomous” programs will advise commanders in real time.
• Human augmentation, meanwhile, will eventually develop into technologies including augmented and virtual reality, as well as “nerve stimulation” to better simulate physical sensations. Gene editing, physical and cognitive prosthesis and pharmaceutical enhancement could offer “profound expansion of the boundaries of human performance. [T]he application of these technologies and the integration of human and machine on the battlefield present opportunities to enhance military capability”.
• “Whilst it is envisaged that humans will continue to be central to the decision-making process, conflicts fought increasingly by robots or autonomous systems could change the very nature of warfare, as there will be less emphasis on emotions, passion and chance,” a 2018 UK Ministry of Defence report states. “The business of [drone] operators is to kill”, says philosopher and cultural critic Laurie Calhoun. Humans will serve merely as “ethical cover”, providing a moral framework for what is essentially a mechanical job.
• There is already a tight relationship between humans and machines in military conflicts. The concept of a “feedback loop” was developed during the Second World War. In the years since, “smart bombs” and drone strikes requiring human-machine interaction have become common. “In our business of national defense,” says Dr Mozer, “it’s imperative that we embrace this new age, lest we fall behind our strategic competitors.”
• [Editor’s Note] And the Borg begins.
Actually, as with nearly everything else, the existing secret space programs operating from our planet and throughout our solar system are already doing it. Super soldiers are routinely issued ‘smart suits’ that perform every function, from enhanced strength and metabolism to protection and the ‘absorption and removal’ of bodily waste. Each soldiers’ vital functions are monitored from a central computer. SSP pilots actually pilot and navigate their smart ships through a neural-consciousness interface. It is true that this human enhancement technology is inevitable, at least at the military level, so the question is how far should it go before the soldier is more machine than human? What price will humanity pay by allowing unchecked, widespread transhumanism?

The US Space Force’s chief scientist has said that “human augmentation”
is “imperative” in order for it to maintain military dominance.
‘In the last century, Western civilization transformed from an industrial-based society to an information-based society, but today we’re on the brink of a new age: the age of human augmentation,’ said Dr Joel Mozer, during an event at the Airforce Research Laboratory.
“‘In our business of national defense, it’s imperative that we embrace this new age,

lest we fall behind our strategic competitors.”
There will be “unimaginable” advances made over the next decade in areas including artificial intelligence, that would make the military able to strategise tactics that “no human could”. Eventually “autonomous” programs will advise commanders in real time, Dr Mozer also said. The Independent has reached out to the armed service to confirm these quotes.
Commanders and decision makers will have multiple autonomous agents at their disposal, each able to control reconnaissance, fire control, or attack. Human augmentation, meanwhile, will eventually develop into technologies including augmented and virtual reality, as well as “nerve stimulation” to better simulate physical sensations.

The feds have long covered up the existence of UFOs because of religious objections, concerns over tarnishing its own reputation and fears of inciting public panic, said Elizondo, who says he came into the Pentagon’s Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program in 2008, and headed it from 2010 until 2017.

Minutes after the alien’s supposed disappearance, the light in the sky went out, leaving circles in the grass where it had shone, reports of the incident said.

have been disabled by UFOs and sent out a warning that countries such as China and Russia have control over the alien technology.

The James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) would give scientists the ability to look even
closer at planets and learn which are most likely to harbour living beings, if all goes to plan. These planets are most commonly known as gas dwarfs or super-earths and are surrounded by a thick atmosphere made up of an array of gases.

All the military services are looking at ways to use space to their advantage, Thompson said in an interview with SpaceNews.

As one of the world’s most technologically advanced societies, Japan is as
dependent upon access to space as any country in the world. Much like the United States and Western Europe, the Japanese economy requires spaced-based communications technology to knit together the fabric of its industrial base. Indeed, by some estimates Japan has the fourth most orbital satellites in the world. Although the Japanese Self-Defense Forces do not operate in the same geographic scope as their U.S. or European counterparts, they still require satellite technology for communications and surveillance purposes.
Consequently, Japan has steadily increased its institutional military engagement with space, allowing the Ministry of Defense to collaborate with Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA), the civilian space agency, for the first time in 2012. Japan also established a Space Operations Squadron (SOS) within the Air-Self-Defense Force in May 2020, with expected
operational readiness in 2023. The squadron will have 100 members by the time it stands up. The portfolio of the squadron, which seems to most closely resemble the former Air Force Space Command in the United States, includes liaising with U.S., German, and French space organizations.

“No bird, no balloon, no aircraft and no known drones have that capability,” the SCU noted in a 50-page report the team compiled on the incident.

Many of you reading this are probably well aware of the fact that mainstream UFO
disclosure is taking off, and has been taking off over the past couple of years. Major media outlets like the New York Times and CNN have covered the topic with extreme legitimacy, and given the fact that much of the public relies on these outlets for information, they are now becoming aware of the fact that there are objects in our atmosphere performing maneuvers that no known man made piece of machinery can.

The idea of a “New World Order” has been a common theme within multiple subjects. In essence, the idea of a New World Order is that there is a conspiracy to create a new totalitarian world government that would not benefit people as a whole. It includes the rollout of measures under the guise of goodwill to combat “problems” our world is facing. Proponents of the New World Order theory believe that many of these problems, like climate change and COVID, are manufactured and/or used to justify more surveillance. It also includes a digital world armed with more tracking, surveillance, and the acquisition of data from all citizens, as well as the rollout of various laws and reforms that continually lead us to a world where many of our rights and freedoms are stripped from us. Again, all of this under the guise of goodwill and for “our protection.”

Over 8,000 feet above Lake Ontario on Nov. 14 of that year, two crew members were injured when a Porter Airlines plane dove to avoid hitting an “object” that “appeared to be solid… and shaped like an upright doughnut or inner tube.”

“The whole idea is to be able to move data as rapidly as possible to get that tactical information directly to the war fighter,” said SDA Director Derek Tournear at the annual C4ISRNET Conference. “So what the transport layer consists of are hundreds of satellites that form a resilient optically interconnected mesh network that will pass data directly to existing tactical data links. So what that means to the war fighter is the following: I can now move data from a
targeting cell that could be located CONUS or ideally that targeting cell will actually form a target onboard on the satellites and I can send that data down directly to an existing tactical data link on a weapons platform or on a weapon itself.”
The Society of Catholic Scientists has scheduled their 2021 SCS conference, and this year’s topic is literally out of this world.
