American Indian Shares His Encounter With Scientific “Star People”

• Stories of the Star People are well documented in Native Canadian and Native American lore. An example is Dr. Ardy Clarke, a Professor Emeritus at Montana State University, a Cherokee/Choctaw who grew up being told about the Star People has been researching and collecting encounters between them and Native Indians for many years. The following is another account taken from her book, Encounters With Star People, Untold Stories of American Indians.

• Clarke tells of a Native Indian and a Vietnam War veteran named Russell who grew up being abused at a religious boarding school. “I was about seven years old. The priest took me to the chapel. He told me to kneel. He said I had to stay there all day unless I spoke English. When the priest left, I heard him lock the door. I remember how salty my tears tasted and I worried that I would have to pee, when suddenly a light appeared outside the chapel window and a being appeared. At first, I thought it was one of the older boys coming to rescue me. But instead, as I was to learn, it was no older boy but a star traveler. He picked me up, held me close, and we walked right through the wall like it wasn’t there. He helped me escape.”

• The Star Travelers “were robot-like. More like bugs than men, but I was so happy to be out of the chapel and away from those nuns and priests that I didn’t care. The devil himself could have taken me to hell and I would have been happy. I think these star travelers were watching the school. Maybe my old man was right. They do watch after us. Anyway, they taught me mind control. They helped me learn to live with pain and to survive in isolation.”

• “[A]fter that first incident , I never felt pain again. I could have knelt for 58 hours on that chapel floor and spit in the face of the priest and knelt 48 more. I just felt nothing. When I went to Vietnam and was captured and tortured, I felt no pain. I had learned to dissociate myself from my body and not feel pain. …I think the Star People understood me. They knew when the stress was becoming too much for me. That’s when they would come. I always went willingly not because I particularly liked them, but because I could get away from a more uncomfortable situation.”

• “[The Star People] taught me mind control and I learned to use it against them. In fact, they found my ability to use mind control quite interesting. Before I cooperated with them, I made them do things for me. We were in a prison camp. Very little food. I made [the Star People] bring me fruit. In boarding school they took away my meals a lot. In the prison camp, none of us got enough food, so I would insist that they get fruit for me. Oranges. Apples. Bananas. That’s when I learned that I could turn the tables on them. When I was able to suggest that I needed fruit and it appeared.”

• In return for fruit, I had to “[s]ubmit to their physical exams. Allow them to collect sperm and whatever samples they needed. [The Star people] did experiments on my eyes and nose. Exposed my eyes to various liquids, various degrees of light. They do not have eyes like ours or noses. I think they find our eyes curious. They took a lot of blood from me.”

• Dr. Clarke asked Russell, “[If the Star People] could come and get you, why didn’t they help you escape the (North Vietnamese) prison and return you to the reservation? After all, the military would have just thought you were missing in action.” “I could have chosen that route perhaps,” said Russell. “I never explored it. When you’re in a prison camp, there is a camaraderie that develops with survival. There is no way I could leave behind my buddies, and there was no way the Star People would have removed all of them to safety. They have some kind of principles about not interfering with lives if it will change the course of history. I don’t think that my life would have changed history, but there was one guy I was with that became a politician. Another became a CEO of a big company. So maybe removing them would have made them different people. I just somehow understood that was not an option and was not something I wanted. Just having them come to me was enough of a relief from being a prisoner. They made it manageable.”

• “I think [the Star People] are scientists exploring new worlds,” said Russell. “I saw them as good when they rescued me, but I saw an evil side, too. I saw them hurt people without teaching them how to control pain. They didn’t seem to care.” Russell saw them abduct many people, “but most when I was in the military, several times they would take everyone in our barracks. They even took our guns”… just to “examine them. They never kept them. When they returned us to the barracks, none of the guys had any memory of the event. I always thought that was strange. I mentioned it to one guy once and he asked me if I was trying to pretend insanity to get out of the service. He told me it wouldn’t work.”

lore, and in this article I will share a story, as I’ve done so many times before (see more examples here), from the work of Dr. Ardy Clarke, a Professor Emeritus at Montana State University who is Cherokee/Choctaw. She has been researching the Star People and collecting encounters between them and Native Indians for many years. She also grew up being told about the Star People from her family and elders.

She’s written multiple books documenting her research. This particular one is taken from her book, “Encounters With Star People, Untold Stories of American Indians.”

The story below comes from Clarke’s encounter with a manned named Russell. A Native Indian and a vietnam war veteran who grew up being abused at a religious boarding school.
The discussion between them began.

“It was at the boarding school. I was about seven years old. He picked me up, held me close, and we walked right through the wall like it wasn’t there.

He helped me escape.”

Clarke then asked him to describe the star traveler.

“They were robot-like.

“How did they do that” Clarke asked.

“I don’t know. But after that first incident , I never felt pain again. I could have knelt for 58 hours on that chapel floor and spit in the face of the priest and kelt 48 more. I just felt nothing. When I went to Vietnam and was captured and tortured, I felt no pain. I had learned to dissociate myself from my body and not feel pain.”

“I think the Star People understood me. They knew when the stress was becoming too much for me. That’s when they would come. I always went willingly not because I particularly liked them, but because I could get away from a more uncomfortable situation.”

Investigated by Project Blue Book for Seeing a Formation of UFOs in 1967

Article by Bill Love                                         March 9, 2021                                          (wkdq.com)

• Bill Love (pictured above), a DJ for WKDQ radio in Evansville, Indiana, reports that a string of UFOs were sighted in February by Evansville Police officers. The same lights were also reported in Louisville, Kentucky. This made Love recollect an incident in 1967 on his first night as the midnight DJ at WHOO radio in west Orlando, Florida.

• As Love was broadcasting an Atlanta Braves baseball game, the WHOO station phone began ringing with callers asking about strange lights in the sky over the western part of the city. Love went outside and looked up in the clear night sky. He could see the lights. Several were traveling in formation very fast and would frequently change colors. They could dip and swerve faster than any plane. Love went back inside and answered more calls about the lights.

• In 1967, the Vietnam War was raging, and it was not uncommon to see heavy air traffic out of nearby McCoy Air Force Base. Also Cape Canaveral was sending space rockets up frequently. Love called McCoy AFB but they had no comment. They did take Love’s name and number there at the radio station.

• The next day Love got a call from the radio station receptionist to let him know that an Air Force officer was waiting in the lobby to see him. Love raced to the station and was greeted by a very stern US Air Force major representing Project Blue Book, the official US air force UFO investigation program. The major asked Love questions about the UFO’s proximity to the high radio towers on the property, and how large Love would estimate that the lights were.

• The AF major had Love fill out a multi-page questionnaire. At the end of our interview Love asked him, “Did anyone at McCoy AFB see the lights”? The major smiled, bid Love a good day and walked away. Love never heard from him or the military again.

• Project Blue Book was ended by the Air Force two years later in 1969. The main goal of the Blue Book investigation was to determine whether UFOs posed any threat to US national security. It was determined that they were not. Love’s report to Project Blue Book was only recently declassified along with never-seen photographs and home movies from decades ago. This fascinating evidence of “non-threatening” UFOs can be seen at the National Archives website.

             McCoy AFB in the 1960s

Unidentified flying objects or UFOs are back in the news again. During the first week of February a couple of Evansville Police officers saw a string of strange lights while sitting in their patrol car. The same lights were reported in Louisville. These reports brought up memories for me of something I saw in 1967. It even made the official US Government investigation of UFOs.

In ’67 I was working as the 6PM to midnight DJ on a radio station in Orlando Florida. Here I am standing in front of the studio and transmitter building of radio station WHOO on my first day at work.

The important thing to know is that the transmitter and broadcast studio that you see in the polaroid were located together on the very flat west side of Orlando with not too many lights to pollute the night sky. The station was 50,000 watts east-west directional which meant several very tall towers were located within a few hundred feet of the building.

The Milwaukee Braves baseball team had recently moved to Atlanta and on the night I spotted my UFOs we were carrying a Braves game. I had plenty of time to kill as I waited to insert local commercials into the broadcast. Suddenly the phone lit up. This was odd because not that many people could have been listening to the Braves getting clobbered again. Caller after caller asked about strange lights in the sky over the western part of the city. I knew McCoy air force base was located just a few miles away and since the Vietnam war had heated up in ’67, heavy traffic in the sky wasn’t uncommon. Also Cape Canaveral was sending space rockets up frequently. But the calls didn’t stop. More and more people wanted to know what these strange sights in the night sky were.

Sen Marco Rubio: It Might Be Better if the UFOs Are Aliens

Article by Jazz Shaw                               July 18, 2020                              (hotair.com)

• Last month, the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence offered a bill that, if passed, would direct the Pentagon to issue a public report on what the government knows about UFOs. Florida Senator Marco Rubio (pictured above) is the acting head of that committee. When interviewed by Jim DeFade for CBS Miami on July 16th, DeFade asked Rubio if he thought there were non-human aliens in our galaxy visiting the Earth. Rubio first answered the question seriously in terms of national defense.

• But then Rubio said “Look, (here’s) the interesting thing for me about all this and the reason why I think it’s an important topic, OK? We have things flying over our military bases and places where we’re conducting military exercises, and we don’t know what it is, and it isn’t ours. So, that’s a legitimate question to ask.”

• “I would say that, frankly, if it’s something outside this planet, that might actually be better than the fact that we’ve seen some technological leap on behalf of the Chinese or the Russians or some other adversary that allows them to conduct this sort of activity,” said Rubio. “But the bottom line is: If there are things flying over your military bases and you don’t know what they are because they’re not yours, and they exhibit, potentially, technologies that you don’t have at your own disposal, that to me is a national security risk and one that we should be looking into.”

• Interestingly, Rubio did not even consider the possibility that the high tech UFOs we’ve seen may have been developed within America’s own black budget Special Access Programs that he might not know about it.

• Then DeFade hit him with a broad question: “What’s your gut? Are we alone in the universe, or is there something else out there?” Rubio sidestepped the question, simply calling it a ‘phenomenon’. “It’s unexplained,” said Rubio. I just want to know what it is, and if we can’t determine what it is, then that’s a fact point that we need to take into account. I wouldn’t venture to speculate beyond that.”

• The argument against wanting it to be aliens is that means that we are sharing our space with beings that are vastly technologically superior to us. These things have been with us at least since the Nimitz encounters of 2004, but probably much longer. During the Vietnam War, American fighter pilots reported seeing identical things in their airspace. (see video below) If the aliens were going to attack us, they could have done it long ago, with impunity.

• But if these things represent the type of technology possessed by the Russians or the Chinese, then that’s not an ideal situation either. If the Russians indeed had this sort of technology, wouldn’t they have used it to end the Cold War conclusively in their favor? And if it’s our own gear, why haven’t we broken it out yet and dominated our adversaries? Also, if we have anti-gravity technology, why are we still burning fossil fuels to get around?

As we discussed last month, the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence has released a bill which, if passed, would direct the Pentagon to get their act together on the UFOs our military has been chasing around in our airspace and issue a report on what’s going on and make it available to the public. The acting head of that committee is Florida Senator Marco Rubio, so he’s been receiving a lot of predictable media attention on this subject. From everything I’ve seen, Rubio has been taking the question in an admirably serious fashion and not ducking away from opportunities to comment. One of those cropped up this week, when he was interviewed by investigative journalist Jim DeFade for CBS Miami.

a UFO image captured by a US Navy jet

DeFade didn’t pull any punches, directly asking the Senator of he thought there were actually aliens in our galaxy and if we might not be alone. Rubio keeps a serious tone, discussing the possibility of a threat to national security as represented by these strange craft. But he then goes on to offer a rather startling opinion as to their origin. While not directly invoking the word “aliens,” he says that if it’s “something outside this planet,” that might be better than finding out that the Chinese or the Russians have gotten a huge leap on us in the technology race.

“Look, here’s the interesting thing for me about all this and the reason why I think it’s an important topic, OK? We have things flying over our military bases and places where we’re conducting military exercises, and we don’t know what it is, and it isn’t ours. So, that’s a legitimate question to ask,” Rubio said in a Thursday interview with Jim DeFede of CBS4 News in Miami. “I would say that, frankly, that if it’s something outside this planet, that might actually be better than the fact that we’ve seen some technological leap on behalf of the Chinese or the Russians or some other adversary that allows them to conduct this sort of activity.”

Rubio added: “But the bottom line is: If there are things flying over your military bases and you don’t know what they are because they’re not yours, and they exhibit, potentially, technologies that you don’t have at your own disposal, that to me is a national security risk and one that we should be looking into.”
