• Waring also claims to have discovered an alien city within the Reiner Crater on the Moon. Says Waring, “At the center of the city is a glowing orb. The city is made of massive black tunnels the move in every direction but they vary in size from 2km wide to a few hundred meters wide. ‘Below this mass of black structures is more of the city, which is sealed underground.”

• A NASA project called Nexus for Exoplanet Systems Science or NExSS was formed three years ago and comprised of an international team of scientists, astrobiologists, planetary scientists, Earth scientists, heliophysicists, astrophysicists, chemists, and biologists, are searching the 3,700 exoplanets discovered in the past 30 years for signs of extraterrestrial life known as biosignatures. The initial results of the team’s work are detailed in five separate papers published in June in the journal Astrobiology.
• Biosignatures are any element, particles, molecules, or phenomenon that may have been created by alien life forms at present or left behind by the extraterrestrials in the past and serves as proof of other beings hiding or still living in one of these exoplanets.
• The scientists aim to identify as many biosignatures as they can, especially those that are not found on Earth. This way, the scientists hoped to avoid being tricked into thinking that a planet is uninhabitable just because it does not have similar biosignatures with what is found on Earth.
• “We have to be open to the possibility that life may arise in many contexts in a galaxy with so many diverse worlds — perhaps with purple-colored life instead of the familiar green-dominated life forms on Earth, for example,” explained Mary Parenteau, a coauthor of one of the papers and an astrobiologist at NASA’s Ames Research Center in Silicon Valley. Edward Schwieterman, the lead author of one of the papers, said for example, the absence of oxygen in one planet is not enough basis to classify that planet as uninhabitable. Instead of focusing on whether a planet is habitable or not,experts should focus on the detectability of life on the planet.
• Another paper evaluated atmospheric conditions, the presence of oceans and continents, and its overall climate. Two other papers discussed future scientific technologies that can be used to accurately detect biosignatures even from the most distant exoplanets.

A video uploaded by conspiracy theory YouTube channel ‘UFO Mania’ suggests that the real reason behind the delay in the mission could be something related to extraterrestrials. Using inputs from ‘Disclose TV’, the narrator of the video mostly talks about SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket in this clip. However, it is crystal clear that the conspiracy theory channel is not convinced with the technical issue explanation put forward by Elon Musk and his team.
“The company is also facing queries regarding the practicality of its flagship Falcon Heavy rocket which was launched for the very first time earlier this year. The rocket was the most powerful of its kind to leave the Earth’s orbit since the Apollo missions and so its launch, and the various technical problems which beset the team working on the project received widespread media scrutiny and scrutiny from industry experts,” said the conspiracy theory channel.

The video has already gone viral, and viewers were quick to speculate the real reason behind the moon mission delay.
Most of the people who watched the video strongly argue that the actual reason behind the delay could be the purported presence of extraterrestrials on Moon. These people believe that aliens have warned humans never to come back to the moon way back in the early 1970s.

• During a NASA symposium, Neil Armstrong, known as “the first man to ever set foot on the Moon”, (pictured above left, along with fellow Apollo 11 crew members Michael Collins and Buzz Aldrin) made some amazing statements regarding the Apollo 11 mission. • On May 7th, NASA’s $100M ‘Breakthrough Listen’ project announced that an enhancement to its CSIRO Parkes Radio Telescope in New South Wales, Australia will allow it to scan millions of stars across the Milky Way over the next 60 days. The telescope will allow scientists to quickly scan the entire sky rather than one single point of the sky at a time.
• “With these new capabilities, we are scanning our galaxy in unprecedented detail,” said Danny Price, at Breakthrough Listen. “By trawling through these huge datasets for signatures of technological civilizations, we hope to uncover evidence that our planet, among the hundreds of billions in our galaxy, is not the only where intelligent life has arisen.”
• Also, a new bill in the US House of Representatives proposes $10 million a year to NASA to search for signs of extraterrestrial life, searching for technosignatures such as radio transmissions in order to “meet the NASA objective to search for life’s origin, evolution, distribution and future in the universe,” according to the bill. If fully passed, it would mark the first time since 1992 that NASA has received federal funding for the search for extraterrestrial life, and reinstate SETI into the NASA budget.
The search for extraterrestrial life is getting extra.
NASA and a project called Breakthrough Listen are both making moves to help boost the chances of finding aliens.
On May 7, Breakthrough Listen announced updates to the CSIRO Parkes Radio Telescope in New South Wales, Australia, that will allow it to scan millions of stars across the Milky Way over the next 60 days.
The $100 million Breakthrough Listen project was founded by a group of scientists, including late physicist Stephen Hawking, in 2016 based on the notion that we should be listening for signs of extraterrestrials — not just looking.
Breakthrough’s previous effort with Parkes only scanned one single point of the sky at a time, with a focus on stars near the sun. But the telescope’s latest updates allow scientists to scan the entire sky at 130 gigabits per second — which is thousands of times the bandwidth of your laptop’s internet connection on its best day.
“With these new capabilities, we are scanning our galaxy in unprecedented detail,” Danny Price, a research fellow at Breakthrough Listen, said in a statement. “By trawling through these huge datasets for signatures of technological civilizations, we hope to uncover evidence that our planet, among the hundreds of billions in our galaxy, is not the only where intelligent life has arisen.”

• On April 18th, NASA launched the Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite, or “TESS” from Cape Canaveral, Florida. (It was delayed two days to tweak the Falcon 9’s rocket’s guidance, navigation and control systems.) TESS’ two-year, $200M mission is to hunt for alien worlds in our local star system. The satellite will focus on the nearest and brightest stars, using its four cameras to look for worlds that may be close enough to be studied in depth by other instruments.
• TESS principal investigator George Ricker says, “TESS is going to dramatically increase the number of planets that we have to study… “It’s going to more than double the number that have been seen and detected by Kepler.” (The Kepler satellite previously mapped 2,650 nearby Exoplanets.) These satellites locate Exoplanets using the “transit method,” by noting tiny brightness dips these worlds cause when they cross their host star.
• TESS will zoom around our planet, on a highly elliptical 13.7-day orbit that no spacecraft has ever occupied before. This orbit will take TESS as close to Earth as 67,000 miles and as far away as 232,000 miles. TESS will arrive in its final orbit in mid-June, if all goes according to plan. The science campaign will start shortly thereafter.
The agency’s Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS) launched today (April 18) from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida, rising off the pad atop a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket at 6:51 p.m. EDT (2251 GMT) and deploying into Earth orbit 49 minutes later.
TESS will hunt for alien worlds around stars in the sun’s neighborhood — planets that other missions can then study in detail. And the spacecraft will be incredibly prolific, if all goes according to plan.
“TESS is going to dramatically increase the number of planets that we have to study,” TESS principal investigator George Ricker, of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, said during a pre-launch briefing Sunday (April 15).
“It’s going to more than double the number that have been seen and detected by Kepler,” Ricker added, referring to NASA’s Kepler space telescope, which has spotted 2,650 confirmed exoplanets to date —about 70 percent of all the worlds known beyond our solar system.
And the Falcon 9’s first stage came back to Earth less than 9 minutes after liftoff today, touching down softly on a robotic SpaceX “drone ship” stationed in the Atlantic Ocean. SpaceX has now pulled off two dozen such landings during Falcon 9 launches — part of the company’s push to develop fully and rapidly reusable rockets and spacecraft, a breakthrough that SpaceX founder and CEO Elon Musk has said will revolutionize spaceflight.
SpaceX has re-flown 11 of these first stages to date, but the tally didn’t increase today: This Falcon 9 was brand-new.
Today’s launch was originally scheduled for Monday evening (April 16), but it was delayed by two days to give SpaceX time to investigate a potential issue with the rocket’s guidance, navigation and control systems.
Looking for nearby worlds
Like Kepler, TESS will find alien planets using the “transit method,” noting the tiny brightness dips these worlds cause when they cross their host stars’ faces. But there are some big differences between the missions.
During its prime mission from 2009 through 2013, Kepler stared continuously at a single patch of sky, monitoring about 150,000 stars simultaneously. (Kepler is now embarked on a different mission, called K2, during which it studies a variety of cosmic objects and phenomena, exoplanets among them. But the iconic telescope’s days are numbered; it’s almost out of fuel.) Most of these stars are far from the sun — from several hundred light-years to 1,000 light-years or more.
But TESS will conduct a broad sky survey during its two-year prime mission, covering about 85 percent of the sky. The satellite will focus on the nearest and brightest stars, using its four cameras to look for worlds that may be close enough to be studied in depth by other instruments.

• Speaking at the Florida Institute of Technology’s Cross Cultural Management Summit in Orlando, Tarter told the audience, “I think that in this century we are going to be finding life beyond Earth.”
• The problem thus far is that the galaxy is just so big. “We’re out in the boondocks. And our star, the sun, is only one of 400 billion other stars in the Milky Way galaxy.” So it is like searching for fish in the ocean by using a water glass, says Tarter.
• Tarter’s conference discussion, entitled “A Cosmic Perspective: Searching for Aliens, Finding Ourselves”, was one of about 75 talks she plans to deliver this year to fundraise for Allen Telescope Array upgrades. In recent years, scientists have focused the ATA on roughly 20,000 nearby stars – mostly small, dim red dwarf stars. Tarter also expressed hope for a new “Laser SETI” initiative. She said the first prototype will be installed within a month and a half at the Lick Observatory, near San Jose, California.

ORLANDO — Though scientists have scanned the cosmos for signals from alien civilizations for a half-century, Jill Tarter likens mankind’s micro-scale campaign to searching for fish in the world’s oceans — by withdrawing a 12-ounce glass of water.
“We’re out in the boondocks. And our star, the sun, is only one of 400 billion other stars in the Milky Way galaxy,” Tarter told a conference-room crowd Saturday afternoon.
“And our Milky Way galaxy is only one of about 200 billion other galaxies in the observable universe,” she said.
Tarter — whose astronomical career was portrayed by Jodie Foster in the 1997 movie “Contact” — served as closing speaker during the Florida Institute of Technology’s third Cross Cultural Management Summit at Caribe Royale in Orlando.
The former project scientist for NASA’s SETI program, Tarter is research chair at the nonprofit SETI Institute in Mountain View, California, She has received two NASA Public Service Medals, and in 2004 she was named one of Time’s 100 most influential people in the world.
SETI stands for the search for extraterrestrial intelligence. The SETI Institute owns the Hat Creek Radio Observatory, and Tarter helped develop the facility’s Allen Telescope Array in the Cascade Mountains about 290 miles north of San Francisco.

“I think that in this century we are going to be finding life beyond Earth,” Tarter told the audience.
“We can discover it: We can find biomarkers on planets or moons of our solar system. We can find artifacts in the solar system as we explore. We can look for remote biosignatures in the atmospheres of distant exoplanets,” Tarter said.
“Or, perhaps we can detect the work product of technological civilizations: technosignatures,” she said.
Tarter displayed PowerPoint photos of telescopes, stars and galaxies to the audience. Included were “selfies” of distant Earth, as photographed by Cassini from Saturn’s orbit (2013) and Voyager 1 as the spacecraft was passing Neptune (1990).
“We’re really working on an ancient human question. And that’s very, very rewarding. We might, within the 21st century, have the answer to whether there is life beyond Earth. And we’ve been asking that question for a very, very long time,” she said.

• In 1964, Ufologist Bob Dean (pictured above) was a soldier in the U.S. Army. One day as he was working in the ‘war room’, an Air Force Colonel gave Dean a classified document from the vault containing a report stating that there were at least four different non-terrestrial groups that had been closely watching humans on Earth for hundreds if not thousands of years. The report concluded that the non-terrestrials did not appear to be a threat because if they were hostile toward us, there was absolutely nothing we could do and it would have been over a long time ago. • Former Canadian Defence Minister Paul Hellyer has also mentioned this same report, stating in an interview with RT news that “they decided to do an investigation, and they investigated for three years, and they decided that, with absolute certainty, that four species, four different species, at least, have been visiting this plant for thousands of years.” “There’s been a lot more activity in the last few decades, since we invented the atomic bomb.”
• Dean related that NASA erased 40 rolls of film of the Apollo 12 Moon Landing Program in 1969 — the flight to the Moon, the flight around the Moon, the landings on the Moon, the walking guys here and there. “Now we’re talking about several thousand individual frames that were taken that the so-called authorities determined that you did not have a right to see. Oh, they were ‘disruptive,’ ‘socially unacceptable,’ ‘politically unacceptable.’ I’ve become furious. I’m a retired Command Sergeant Major. I was never famous for having a lot of patience.”

They concluded that there did not appear to be a military threat involved because the repeated demonstrations of incredibly advanced technology demonstrated to us that if they had been hostile or malevolent, there was absolutely nothing we could do. The fact that hundreds of such people, many of whom hold high-ranking positions, have been speaking up about this topic for decades is fascinating. It’s pretty hard to believe that so many people with verified credentials would all lie about something that could so easily damage their careers.
Although there is no definitive way to prove to the ‘mainstream’ world that ET is real, we now have hundreds of thousands of documents from multiple countries putting to rest the question “Do UFOs exist?” We know they do from these documents, which show objects are tracked on radar, spotted by the pilots sent to intercept, and in some cases, simultaneously tracked on ground radar.

• After astronaut Scott Kelly’s year-long stay on the International Space Station, NASA compared Scott Kelly’s physiology with his identical twin brother, Mark Kelly (pictured above). They discovered that while most of the changes to Scott’s physiology returned to normal soon after returning to Earth, 7% of Scott Kelly’s DNA has been permanently altered. NASA has speculated on the existence of a “space gene,” which might be activated by conditions in space, causing changes in DNA.
• Identical twins have almost identical DNA, which makes them ideal candidates for studying the mental and physical health effects of space. It was Scott Kelly himself who suggested NASA use him and his brother Mark as test subjects. NASA says the changes to Scott’s DNA “related to his immune system, DNA repair, bone formation networks, hypoxia, and hypercapnia.”
• Telomeres are components of chromosomes that shorten with age. NASA expected the radiation of space to accelerate that shortening. They found, however, that Scott’s telomeres actually lengthened during his stay on the ISS. They returned to normal within two hours of his return to Earth, squashing any hope of finding the space-fountain of youth.
• While on the ISS, Scott’s gut bacteria also changed dramatically but returned to normal once back on solid ground. NASA scientists do not know whether it was due to differences in the food he ate or environmental factors, such as gravity and radiation. Being in space had no effect on Scott’s cognition, yet after returning to Earth his mental speed and accuracy began showing slight decreases.
• The full results of the NASA study will be released later in 2018.
Either space is weirder than we thought, or NASA ripped off The Fantastic Four. According to a study published by the space agency, space travel can permanently alter your DNA. Identical twin astronauts Scott and Mark Kelly were observed over the course of a year after Scott touched down on Earth after a yearlong stay on the International Space Station. The Twins Study is part of an ongoing NASA effort called the Human Research Project which studies the effects of space on the human body in preparation for eventual manned missions to Mars and other prolonged trips through the void.

Identical twins are rare, and astronauts even rarer; luckily NASA has plenty of the latter and two of the former. • In 1963, NASA astronaut Gordon Cooper claimed to have seen an unknown satellite in space. NASA said Cooper was hallucinating. In 1998, the space shuttle Endeavour took a photo of the mysterious satellite and dubbed it ‘The Black Knight Satellite’. Now, video feed from the International Space Station has captured the satellite to the astonishment of control personnel. (see YouTube channel Section 51 video below) In the video, the Black Knight is seen floating near the Soyuz spacecraft set to dock with the ISS.
• Conspiracy theorists claim the satellite is 13,000 years old, of extraterrestrial origin (from Epsilon Boötis to be exact), and orbiting the Earth in near-polar orbit. NASA says that it is a thermal blanket dropped by space shuttle crew.
• [Editors Note] For me, the most compelling part of the video is a gasp made by a female crew or control personnel when the satellite appears on screen. This is no lost blanket.
The Black Knight Satellite is the name given to an object captured on camera by NASA astronauts during a 1998 space shuttle mission.
Conspiracy theorists claim the satellite is of extraterrestrial origin and possibly up to 13,000 years old and orbiting Earth in near-polar orbit.
The legend has been circulating since the Sixties and now footage uploaded to YouTube channel Section 51 claims to be evidence of the alleged craft.
A caption beneath the video reads: “Leaked pictures from ISS show the 13,000 year old Black Knight Satellite UFO very close to Soyuz Spacecraft during approach to the Station.”
In the video, a mysterious and long looking black object can be seen floating near the Soyuz spacecraft, which is set to dock with the ISS.
As astronauts are heard mumbling in the background, the black knight seems to stay in the distance as if it were keeping an eye on what is happening.

• Ancient rock paintings found in Charama, India seem to depict aliens and UFOs from 10,000 years ago.
• A video uploaded to YouTube’s The Lost History Channel (see below) says the local Indian government is seeking the help of NASA and the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) to help study these rock paintings. Says Indian archaeologist JR Bhagat, “Charama presently doesn’t have any such expert who could give clarity on the subject.”
• The rock paintings are done in natural colours that have hardly faded despite the years. “The strangely carved figures are seen holding weapon-like objects and do not have clear features.” Says Bhagat, “Specially, the nose and mouth are missing… In few pictures, they are even shown wearing space suits.”
• There appear to be depictions of aliens and UFOs found in ancient art across the globe, including in Egypt and Aboriginal rock art in Australia. This correlates with a popular ancient alien theory that our ancestors were visited by an advanced race of aliens that helped them build great monuments such as the Egyptian pyramids and Stonehenge – structures that would seem to defy the technology of primitive societies.
Mysterious ancient rock paintings could show depictions of advanced aliens who visited our ancestors around 10,000 years ago, according to staggering claims. The paintings, found in Charama, India, have been said by some to show aliens and UFOs, similar to how they are depicted in sci-fi movies.
A video uploaded to YouTube’s The Lost History Channel says the local government in the area is seeking the help of the US and Indian space agencies.
In the video, the narrator explains how a number of the paintings were discovered.
According to local archaeologist JR Bhagat it is unclear as to what the images were supposed to be of.
He said: “The findings suggest that humans in prehistoric times may have seen or imagined beings from other planets which still create curiosity among people and researchers, Dailystar.co.uk reports.
“Extensive research is needed for further findings. “Charama presently doesn’t have any such expert who could give clarity on the subject.“
The expert also said some of the other features of the paintings were unclear and the characters appeared to be wielding weapons.
He added: “The paintings are done in natural colours that have hardly faded despite the years.

We can’t refute possibility of imagination by prehistoric men but humans usually fancy such things.”

• Lisa Pratt (seen above) has been appointed NASA’s Planetary Protection Officer, protecting us against threats from other planets, and vice versa.
• Pratt replaces the previous PPO, Catherine Conley, who retired after three years. NASA advertised the $187,000 per year position for a month, then spent four months interviewing candidates.
• Pratt holds a bachelor’s degree and a masters degree in botany, and a master’s and Ph.D. in geology. She also worked on a NASA project studying methane emissions and microbial life on the Greenland Ice Sheet. Pratt will step down from her current position as associate executive dean of Indiana University’s College of Arts and Sciences.
• Says Pratt: “This position plays a direct role in seeking evidence to address a profound question: Are we alone?” “We are on the verge of becoming a spacefaring species, and I feel privileged to be invited into an extraordinary conversation, pushing the frontiers of science, exploration and discovery…”
Rest easily, Earthlings … the planet is once again being protected. NASA, which has been looking since last August for a new Planetary Protection Officer to protect the planet against threats from other planets and to protect other planets from threats and contaminates being delivered by Earth-launched space probes, announced that the position has been filled. It’s a big job that just got bigger with the discovery of new planets outside of the Milky Way galaxy. Could that be why the previous Planetary Protection Officer retired?
NASA announced the search for a new PPO in August 2017 when the previous Planetary Protection Officer, Catherine Conley, retired after three years on the job. NASA advertised the up-to- $187,000-a year position for a month, then spent four months interviewing candidates before choosing Lisa Pratt, who will step down from her current position as associate executive dean of Indiana University’s College of Arts and Sciences.

Then she did what anyone with that kind of education behind them would do … she became a bartender.
Fortunately, a college mentor convinced her to go back to school and get a master’s and Ph.D. in geology, giving her what would eventually be the perfect combination of sciences to become a Planetary Protection Officer. But first, she caught NASA’s attention (and received a $2.4 million grant) with her work on the Greenland Ice Sheet (which is similar to conditions on other planets and moons) to study methane emissions and microbial life there.

On Dec 11th, President Trump signed Space Policy Directive 1, proclaiming, “This time, we will not only plant our flag and leave our footprint, we will establish a foundation for an eventual mission to Mars and, perhaps someday, to many worlds beyond.”
Trump’s vision, which he laid out earlier this year, is simply to build a lunar space station orbiting the Moon. It has nothing to do with planting another flag on the Moon or a footprint on Mars.
When we chose to go to the Moon in the 1960’s, we devoted upwards of 5% of the federal budget to the endeavor. Today this figure is 0.4% of the budget. This is less than 1/10th of what we invested in NASA the last time we sent humans to the Moon.
If President Trump really intends to go to Mars, it would take a sustained investment totaling somewhere in the ballpark of $50-$150 billion, spread out over the course of ten years. The plan would involve landing a slew of equipment on the Martian surface, along with robots and rovers designed to self-assemble stations and habitats, and then a crew of human beings, who would stay for anywhere from 6 to 18 months before returning home.
Our ambitions to venture beyond low-Earth orbit are achievable, but only if we make it so. Unless there’s a plan to increase NASA’s funding to sufficient levels to send humans to worlds beyond our own, America is never going to get there.

Last week, President Trump signed Space Policy Directive 1, designed to refocus NASA’s mission on human exploration and spaceflight. Proclaiming, “This time, we will not only plant our flag and leave our footprint, we will establish a foundation for an eventual mission to Mars and, perhaps someday, to many worlds beyond,” Trump made a promise that should sound familiar to American citizens, as many incoming presidents (including Obama and both Bushes) have made similar plans and proclamations. Like all plans, to bring this one to fruition will require a tremendous investment of resources: in people, in equipment and facilities, in research and development, and in terms of money as well. With no plans for adequate, additional funding to support these ambitions, these dreams will simply evaporate, as they have so many times before.
If you look at the percent of the federal budget currently being invested in NASA, you’ll find that you have to go all the way back to 1959, the first full year of NASA’s existence, to encounter a time where we invested less in the agency than we do today. When we chose to go to the Moon, it was accompanied by a tremendous increase in the resources we devoted to the endeavor: up to nearly 5% of the federal budget. Today, that figure sits at just 0.4% of the budget (0.11% of our GDP), or less than one-tenth of what we invested in NASA the last time we sent humans to the Moon.
NASA’s crewed spaceflight missions since the end of Apollo have focused on low-Earth orbit. But if the goal is to explore the Universe, and to take humanity deeper and farther into the cosmic sea than we’ve ever gone, a return to the Moon won’t accomplish that. The vision of the Trump administration, laid out earlier this year, involves a shocking proposal, to build a lunar space station orbiting the Moon. In no way, shape, or form does a lunar space station prepare us or aid us in going to either the Moon or Mars. Instead, it’s a project that merely serves to:
• provide a use for the Space Launch System (SLS) that’s already developed,
• provide a potential application of the Orion capsule system,
• and provide potential partnership opportunities with Russia on an orbiter and Europe/Japan on the habitation modules.
It’s a proposal that should make you furious. If you want to go to the Moon, you design a system to put humans on the Moon. If you want to go to a different world, you design a system to put human beings on that world. If you want to go to deep space, you figure out what you need to go to deep space — and you go. Instead, the plan will spend a great deal of money without yielding appreciable results. If you want to accomplish something great, you don’t look at the technology you’ve already developed and ask, “what can we do with it?” Instead, you must look at the goal you want to achieve and ask, “what will it take to accomplish this?” You also have to provide funding for it, and plan it on a realistically short timescale.
If the goal is to go to Mars, we’ve already done extensive research into how much it would cost and what type of technological development it would require. To do it safely and responsibly, it would take a sustained investment totaling somewhere in the ballpark of $50-$150 billion, spread out over the course of approximately 10 years. The plan would involve landing a slew of equipment on the Martian surface, along with robots and rovers designed to self-assemble stations and habitats, and then a crew of human beings, who would stay for anywhere from 6 to 18 months before returning home. The largest and heaviest things ever landed on the Martian surface are far lighter than what a crewed mission would require, and the only way you ensure the safety of the crew on such an endeavor is through practice.

• The UFO/extraterrestrial issue continues to gain the attention of the masses. Whistleblowers including generals, colonels, pilots, astronauts, and defence contractors say UFOs are real. It’s the greatest story in human history.
• Dr. Edgar Mitchell, the sixth man to “officially” walk on the moon, said, “Yes there have been crashed craft, and bodies recovered. . . . We are not alone in the universe, they have been coming here for a long time. . . . I happen to be privileged enough to be in on the fact that we have been visited on this planet, and the UFO phenomenon is real.”
• Gordon Cooper, a Mercury astronaut, said, “In my opinion I think they were worried that it would panic the public if they knew that someone had [UFO] vehicles that had this kind of performance . . . so they started telling lies about it. And then I think they had to cover another lie, you know, tell another lie to cover their first lie, now they don’t know how to get out of it. Now it’s going to be so embarrassing to admit that all these administrations have told a lot of untruths . . . [and that] there are a number of extraterrestrial vehicles out there cruising around.”
• Story Musgrave, a NASA astronaut with six academic degrees, said, “… if you look at technological development, maybe we’ve been at it 100-200 years…but if you look at some planet and some creatures that… were able to build technology over millions of years, they’re doing star travel.”
• Viktor Mikhailovich Afanasyev, a Russian astronaut, related that during a space flight, he observed a UFO that “followed us during half of our orbit. We observed it on the light side, and when we entered the shadow side it disappeared completely. It was an engineering structure made from some type of metal, approximately 40 meters long with inner hulls. . . . Inside there were openings. The object stayed very close to us. We photographed it and our photo showed it to be 23 to 28 meters away.” Said Afanasyev, “I think that we are not alone in the universe. I believe that someone, or something of extraterrestrial origin, has visited Earth.”
• Deke Slayton, another Mercury astronaut, said, “[the UFO] looked like a saucer sitting on edge, about a 45 degree angle. . . . It took off, climbed at about a 45 degree angle, and just accelerated and disappeared.”
• Al Worden, the Command Module pilot for the Apollo 15 lunar mission in 1971 said, “We are the aliens. We just think they’re somebody else, but we’re the ones who came from somewhere else. Because somebody else had to survive, and they got in a little space craft and they came here and they landed and they started civilization here, that’s what I believe.”
The UFO/extraterrestrial issue continues to gain the attention of the masses. This comes as a result of multiple factors, one being of them being the onslaught of credibility that’s been accredited to it, in the form of official previously classified government documents, some of which provide some startling details about UFO encounters with the military. And there are no shortage of statements; there are hundreds of them, if not thousands, in fact. Whistleblowers include generals, colonels, pilots, astronauts, and defence contractors, with the latest example being the recent launch of Tom Delonge’s To The Stars academy. His team recently held a livestream video letting the public know that UFOs are real, and they involve a physics we have yet to comprehend.
The director of the academy, Stephen Justice, recently retired from being the Program Director for Advanced Systems of Lockheed Martin, better known as the “Skunk Works.” Another member of the academy is Louis Elizondo. A career intelligence officer, his experience includes working in the U.S. Army, the Department of Defense, and the National Counterintelligence Executive, and he spent time as the Director of National Intelligence.
They have now joined the long list of individuals to emphasize to the world that yes, UFOs are real. As far as whether or not these craft are extraterrestrial, based on the evidence we have in the form of testimony, and the mere physics these craft are displaying, it seems safe to say that some of them are.
The evidence available for the existence of UFOs that can perform maneuvers no known human craft can exceeds the evidence for more accepted scientific phenomena, such as black holes, yet few people take UFOs seriously.

The UFO topic is a big one, and requires a lot of research to understand what’s really going on. Even if you do that, you’ll probably be left more confused than you were when you started.
One thing we can say for certain, even within the mainstream, is that UFOs are real. What they are, who is operating them, why they are here, and what they want, is an entirely different set of questions. There are tremendous implications here, from technology to other areas of science, human history, and more that will need to be explored.

Dr. Edgar Mitchell is a man of many experiences. For one, he was the sixth man to walk on the moon. He is a former Navy Captain, author, and lecturer. His academic background includes a Bachelor of Science from Carnegie Mellon University, a Postgraduate Science degree from the U.S. Naval School and Doctor of Science in Aeronautics and Astronautics from MIT. He has received honorary doctorates in engineering from New Mexico State University, the University of Akron, and ScD from Embry-Riddle University, as well as many other honours and awards.
He is the founder of the Institute of Noetic Sciences, and the co-founder of the Association of Space Explorers. Brian O’Leary
Dr Brian O’Leary was a member of the sixth group of astronauts selected by NASA in August 1967. He, like many others on this list, has a lengthy resume. A colleague of the renowned Carl Sagan, he taught as a physics professor at Cornell, alongside Sagan, as well as at Princeton University for some time.
Gordan Cooper
Gordon Cooper is a former NASA astronaut, aeronautical engineer, and test pilot. He was one of the seven original astronauts in Project Mercury, the first manned space program of the United States: “In my opinion I think they were worried that it would panic the public if they knew that someone had vehicles that had this kind of performance . . . so they started telling lies about it. And then I think they had to cover another lie, you know, tell another lie to cover their first lie, now they don’t know how to get out of it. Now it’s going to be so embarrassing to admit that all these administrations have told a lot of untruths . . . [and that] there are a number of extraterrestrial vehicles out there cruising around.”
Story Musgrave
Story Musgrave is an American physician, known as the most formally educated astronaut with six academic degrees. He was the second astronaut to fly on six spaceflights.
Story has made multiple comments about the UFO phenomenon and possible extraterrestrial beings. He’s shown up to several international UFO conferences to discuss the topic. He, unlike the others, is very careful, and seems to constantly reiterate the fact that he has no evidence available, and cannot say anything for certain.
That being said, he was filmed at a conference making some very interesting comments.
“So, if you look at technological development, maybe we’ve been at it 100-200 years, industrial revolution, but if you look at some planet and some creatures that got it together, they were able to build technology over millions of years, ‘they’re doing star travel.’ “

The new data was obtained by the Keplar space telescope. The Kepler-90 star system is like a mini version of our solar system. • The space agency teamed up with Google to use artificial intelligence “machine learning” to search for exoplanets, which could support extraterrestrial organisms.
• NASA believes that most stars in space are likely to have a series of planets orbiting, boosting the chances of there being more like Earth with the conditions for life to evolve. For life (as we know it) to form, a planet must be rocky and at the right distance from its star to be not too hot or cold, so it can hold liquid water and an atmosphere.

NASA today announced it has found another solar system just like ours with EIGHT planets… boosting the chances of finding ALIEN life elsewhere in the Universe.
The historic discovery was made by new scientific analysis of data obtained by the Kepler space telescope, which is scouring the galaxy for planets like Earth.
Paul Hertz, Astrophysics Division director at NASA Headquarters in Washington, said: “We have found for the first time an eighth planet in a distant planetary system in the Kepler 90 system – this ties Kepler 90 with our own solar system for having the most known planets.
“Kepler 90 is the first star to host as many planets as our own.”
The new planet – Kepler 90i – is a small rocky planet, but very close to the sun which is hotter than ours, and is 2,500 light years from Earth.
It would be scorching hot and unable to hold life itself, although some planets in the system may be able to.
But, it means that NASA now believes most stars in space are likely to have a series of planets orbiting, boosting the chances of there being more like Earth with the conditions for life to evolve.
For life to form, it is believed that a planet must be rocky, and at the right distance from its star to be not too hot or cold, so it can hold liquid water and an atmosphere.
A team of NASA scientists who have scoured the universe looking for planets that could potentially hold alien life today made the historic announcement in a briefing at 6pm British time.
It was to unveil the latest findings of the Kepler space telescope mission.
Kepler 90i orbits its home star every 14 days and is about 30 percent bigger than Earth.
The planets in the Kepler 90 system orbit much closer to their host star than Earth is to the sun.
Andrew Vanderburg, astronomer and NASA Sagan Postdoctoral Fellow at The University of Texas, Austin, said: “The Kepler-90 star system is like a mini version of our solar system. You have small planets inside and big planets outside, but everything is scrunched in much closer.
“Kepler 90i is about 2,500 light years away in the northern sky.
“It is the smallest of a bunch of probably rocky planets, not with thick atmospheres like the gas giants further out.
“But, I would not like to visit, it would have a surface temperature of about 800 degrees Fahrenheit, the surface would be scorching hot.
“Kepler 90 is the first exoplanet system like ours with eight planets, but I think it won’t be the last.
“Our solar system is not sole record holder for solar systems with the most planets and we have just scratched the surface. There might be more out there that make our eight look small.”
Kepler-90i wasn’t the only new planet found by the machine learning system.
In the separate Kepler-80 solar system, thought to have five planets, was a sixth.
The Earth-sized Kepler-80g, and four of its neighboring planets form what is called a resonant chain – where planets are locked by their mutual gravity in a rhythmic orbital dance.
The result is an extremely stable system, similar to the seven planets in the TRAPPIST-1 system, previously thought to be the next biggest solar system.
Previous Kepler announcements have included the discovery of several earth-like rocky planets that were at the right distance from their star to potentially house alien life.
The team has been searching for such planets since 2009, finding around 30 Earth-sized planets orbiting within the ‘habitable zones’ of their stars and another 20 ‘possibles’.
The space agency teamed up with Google to use artificial intelligence to search for exoplanets, which could support extraterrestrial organisms.
NASA says the new discovery has been made by researchers using machine learning from Google, which is an approach to artificial intelligence, and demonstrates new ways of analysing Kepler data.
The Kepler telescope recently found ten more planets outside our solar system which could be the size and temperature to support life.
A Nasa researcher hinted that aliens could be out there somewhere.
Kepler scientist Mario Perez said: “We are probably not alone.”
A NASA spokesman said: “When Kepler launched in March 2009, scientists didn’t know how common planets were beyond our solar system.
“Thanks to Kepler’s treasure trove of discoveries, astronomers now believe there may be at least one planet orbiting every star in the sky.”

• Clark C. McClelland, a former SCO of the Space Shuttle Fleet, claims he personally observed an 8- to 9-foot-tall extraterrestrial on his monitor while on duty in the Kennedy Space Center’s Launch Control Center (LCC). He claims the ET was standing upright in the Space Shuttle payload bay having a discussion with two tethered NASA astronauts. He also claims to have observed on his monitors the spacecraft of the ET as it was stabilized safely in orbit to the rear of the Space Shuttle’s main engine pods.
• On McClelland’s website, he writes: “How did it communicate? I have no idea. It did move its arms a lot. Almost like giving instructions! I heard no voice communications. The helmet was not as large as our two NASA Astronauts, and had a viewport to look forward. It had a small, perhaps a communication device, attached only to the right side of the helmet!”
• “I saw no oxygen tank. It had a wide belt like wrapping around it. It did not appear to be tethered as the two Astronauts were to the sides of the shuttle structure. I observed nothing that appeared to be a weapon. The time of this amazing scene was one minute and seven seconds, I timed it on my astronaut chronograph watch.”
• McClelland claims that he was part of hundreds of missions for NASA. Others have also vouched for Clark, including Ufologist Richard Dolan and Apollo 14 astronaut Dr. Edgar Mitchell.
• However, NASA itself cannot now ‘officially’ verify that McClelland ever worked there. McClelland claims that the U.S. government stripped him of his pension and his identity as a NASA employee after he spoke out about what he saw.
It seems to be a rare thing these days to come across a person who isn’t at least open to the idea of intelligent extraterrestrial life existing somewhere in the universe (or if you prefer, multiverse). In fact, the general consensus within the mainstream scientific community is that we are assuredly not alone; as the Director of Operations for Bigelow Aerospace, Mike Gold, puts it, the universe is most probably “teeming with intelligent extraterrestrial life.” In fact, top U.S astronomers recently testified in front of U.S. congress expressing the same belief.
Furthermore, we have a number of scientists, astronomers, astronauts, high-ranking military/political personnel, and academics trying to tell the world that we are not alone, that we never have been, and that intelligent extraterrestrial life has been and is currently visiting our planet and interacting with the human race.

[ET contact is] both literally, physically happening to a degree; and it’s also some kind of psychological, spiritual experience occurring and originating perhaps in another dimension. Dr. Theodore C. Loder III, Professor Emeritus of Earth Science at the University of New Hampshire, is a great example; he has been telling the world that intelligent beings from other star systems have and are visiting our planet Earth for some time now.
And Dr. Jack Kasher, Professor Emeritus of Physics at the University of Nebraska, has said: “There is another way, whether it’s wormholes or warping space, there’s got to be a way to generate energy so that you can pull it out of the vacuum, and the fact that they’re here shows us that they found a way.”
Former head of the CIA Roscoe Hillenkoetter is one out of hundreds of examples that come from personnel within the Department of Defence making the same claims. He was quoted as saying, “Behind the scenes, high ranking Air Force officers are soberly concerned about UFOs. But through official secrecy and ridicule, many citizens are led to believe the unknown flying objects are nonsense.”
When thousands upon thousands of declassified UFO documents from dozens of governments are added to the equation, it’s not hard to see why so many people in ‘high’ places are starting to speak out. Even those within the government have been voicing their concern. Any time an article about UFOs is being written, it should be clear that this is a serious issue that has been receiving a lot of attention (for decades) by some very serious people and defence intelligence agencies.

• Defense contractor insider, William Tompkins, claimed that when Armstrong’s Lunar Module landed on the Sea of Tranquility Crater, Armstrong said ‘There are other ships here, they are enormous’. ‘Armstrong panned his camera in a 360 degree motion all around the crater and the CIA then classified the information as way above top secret’.”
• UFO researcher Timothy Good says that a former member of MI6 revealed her conversation with Neil Armstrong when he confirmed there were “other” spacecraft on the Moon when Apollo 11 landed in 1969. Armstrong also confirmed the CIA was behind the cover up.

It wasn’t long ago that the Russian government called for an international investigation into the U.S. moon landings regarding missing samples and photos not released to the public. This created a new wave of interest into what really happened when the U.S. went up there, and led some to question if they even went there at all. The topic is filled with a number of interesting facts and statements from credible people that make one thing abundantly clear: Something fishy is happening on the moon, and we’re not being told about it.
This uncertainty has been made apparent by various sources, which include multiple Apollo astronauts, academics, and high-ranking military whistleblowers, not to mention official photos taken by NASA.
According to Bob Dean, a United States Army Command Sergeant Major who also served at the Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE) of NATO as an intelligence analyst, more footage exists, erased and hidden all these years, which we have never been told about: “Ladies and gentlemen, my government, NASA, which many of us in the United States say stands for ‘Never A Straight Answer’, proceeded to erase 40 rolls of film of the Apollo Program — the flight to the Moon, the flight around the Moon, the landings on the Moon, the walking guys here and there. They erased, for Christ’s sake, 40 rolls of film of those events. Now we’re talking about several thousand individual frames that were taken that the so-called authorities determined that you did not have a right to see. Oh, they were ‘disruptive,’ ‘socially unacceptable,’ ‘politically unacceptable.’ I’ve become furious. I’m a retired Command Sergeant Major. I was never famous for having a lot of patience.”
We will get into more intriguing facts later in the article. More points will be made about why so many people are starting to wonder if there is, or was, an alien presence on the moon. These points make it easier to consider the lore that surrounds the moon landing. Perhaps one of the most interesting points is what Neil Armstrong communicated to Houston when we landed on the moon.

Where Does This Claim Come From?
One source is Dr. Steven Greer, founder of The Disclosure Project and The Center for the Study of Extraterrestrial Intelligence (CSETI). Greer was responsible for bringing forth high level military whistleblowers from all ranks to testify about the UFO/extraterrestrial phenomenon. He’s also had high level meetings within the Pentagon about this issue, which was verified by Apollo 14 astronaut and 6th man to walk on the moon, Dr. Edgar Mitchell, in Greer’s film Sirius Disclosure.
Edgar is one of multiple NASA astronauts who have made some eye-opening comments about the extraterrestrial presence.
According to Greer, “Close friends and very close family members of both Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin have separately told me that indeed there were numerous, large UFOs around the crater where the Lunar Module landed and that these were seen by both Armstrong and Aldrin. I have also spoken to military officers that have seen the footage of this event- but it has never been made public. One close family member of Buzz Aldrin told me “It is not my place to out Buzz on this- someday if he can speak about it, he will…”
“Neil Armstrong became somewhat of a recluse after the moon landing, and rarely spoke of the historic event. His friends and family have told me that this is because he was a man of such integrity that he simply did not want to be put in a position to lie to the public about such a momentous encounter. How tragic that our heroes have been placed in this untenable situation!”
“When we were organizing The Disclosure Project a few years ago, I asked one of Neil Armstrong’s friends if Armstrong would come to Washington to brief members of Congress at the 1997 Congressional briefing we organized in April of that year. I was told that Armstrong wished he could –but that if he spoke about what really happened during the moon landing, that Neil Armstrong, his wife, and children would all be killed. It was put to me this bluntly.”
Another source is former NASA employee Ken Johnston. Johnston was a Boeing engineer and a former fighter-jock and test pilot for Grumman Aerospace. He was also a marine and an F-4 pilot, as well as a NASA employee, working as the chief Lunar Module test pilot at the Manned Spacecraft Center in Houston. According to James Oberg, a U.S. space journalist, UFO skeptic, and space historian, “Johnston seems to be a sweet human being who did honorable service to his country in the military and in the Apollo program.”
Ken Johnson reveals: “While Neil and Buzz were on the Lunar surface, Neil switched to the medical channel, and spoke directly with the chief medical officer saying, they’re here, they’re parked on the side of the crater, they’re watching us.”
Johnston is referring to a story put out by former NASA employee Otto Bender. According to Dr. Michael Salla, PhD., on a post written on his website, Bender confirmed that HAM radio operators had intercepted these VHF signals that were transmitted from Apollo 11, the ones that were kept from the public.
Apparently, this is how it went:
Mission Control: What’s there ? Mission Control calling Apollo 11.
Apollo 11: These babies are huge, sir … enormous….Oh, God, you wouldn’t believe it! I’m telling you there are other space craft out there… lined up on the far side of the crater edge… they’re on the moon watching us.
As a teenager William Tompkins had an eye for detail and loved to create Navy ship and submarine models. The Navy took interest in his capabilities and recruited him to do work on advanced technology projects. Recently, he has come forward with claims, as many others have, about clandestine Black Budget operation programs.
According to Tompkins: “The Landing Module (LEM) actually impacted the Moon surface in the Sea of Tranquility Crater, which had tremendous size vehicles parked around part of its rim. When astronaut Neil Armstrong made that First Step for Man on the Moon he looked up to the edge of the crater and said to mission control: “There are other ships here, they are enormous. The public did not hear that statement or see the massive alien starships. Armstrong panned his camera in a 360 degree motional all around the crater and the CIA then classified the information as way above top secret.”
Another source for this story comes from Timothy Good, one of the world’s leading UFO researchers, who has lectured at universities, schools, and many organizations, including the Institute of Medical Laboratory Sciences, the Royal Canadian Military Institute, the Royal Geographical Society, the Royal Naval Air Reserve Branch, the House of Lords All-Party UFO Study Group, and the Oxford and Cambridge Union societies.

• People are taking another look at a NASA video of a shuttle launch on May 16, 2011. At 1:44 an angular white object appears close to the shuttle Endeavor’s spent fuel tank.
• The YouTube channel that posted it claims that it is the “White Knight” satellite, ‘a rumoured extra-terrestrial craft that has been secretly orbiting the Earth for thousands of years’ (an apparent companion to the more famous “Black Knight” mystery satellite).
• [Editor’s Note] Comments from viewers identify the white UFO as something ordinary ranging from space debris to ice. Commenter “bangbang” points out that at 4:33 another white anomaly can be seen in the lower left hand corner of the video.
A strange white object has been spotted in archive footage of a NASA shuttle launch that took place in 2011.
Predictably, UFO hunters across the internet have been sent into a frenzy by the find, claiming it is evidence of an alien craft.
The shimmery white spectacle can be seen in the clouds alongside the fuel tank discarded from the space shuttle Endeavour after it blasts off for its final mission in May 2011.
Originally posted on NASA’s official YouTube channel, the old footage has been dug up and re-examined by UFO enthusiasts. It was re-uploaded to the channel UFO Today, which is dedicated to “the UFO phenomena”.
According to the channel’s interpretation, the strange object is the “White Knight Satellite” – a rumoured extra-terrestrial craft that has been secretly orbiting the Earth for thousands of years.
It can be seen in the clip when the fuel tank is jettisoned from the NASA craft minutes after take-off.

• Asgardia’s mission is to provide a “peaceful society”, to offer easier access to space technologies, and to protect Earth from space threats such as asteroids and man-made space debris. The Asgardian team hopes to create habitable platforms in low-Earth orbit.
• Asgardia is free to join. Anyone over 18 years old, with an email address, regardless of gender, nationality, race, religion, or financial standing can apply for citizenship.
• Today, there are 114,000 Asgardians from 204 countries.
• Dr Igor Ashurbeyli is a 53-year-old rocket scientist from Moscow who promoted and single-handedly bankrolled the Asgardia project.
• Asgardia’s administrative center will be in Vienna. They plan to elect a government in March 2018 and will ask to be recognized by the United Nations. To achieve this, the UN’s Security Council must first approve Asgardia’s application to be considered a nation, then two-thirds of members of the General Assembly must vote for its admission.
• The plan is to send the first permanent human inhabitants to an orbiting Asgardia by 2026.
The world’s first “space nation” has taken flight.
On November 12, Asgardia cemented its presence in outer space by launching the Asgardia-1 satellite.
The “nanosat” — it is roughly the size of a loaf of bread — undertook a two-day journey from NASA’s Wallops Flight Facility in Virginia, the United States, to the International Space Station (ISS).
It contains 0.5 TB of data belonging to 18,000 of Asgardia’s citizens, such as family photographs, as well as digital representations of the space nation’s flag, coat of arms and constitution.
Russian scientist Dr Igor Ashurbeyli founded the world’s first independent nation to operate in outer space in October 2016.
Named after a Norse mythological city of the skies, Asgardia is free to join and so far, about 114,000 people have signed up.
Ashurbeyli says the project’s mission is to provide a “peaceful society”, offer easier access to space technologies, and protect Earth from space threats, such as asteroids and man-made debris in space.
While Asgardia’s citizens will — for the time being — remain based on earth, the satellite launch brings the nation one step closer to space.
The satellite’s mission
Asgardia-1 made its journey to the ISS aboard the OA-8 Antares-Cygnus, a NASA commercial cargo vehicle.
Now it must wait for about three weeks as vital supplies and scientific equipment are transferred from the NASA ship to the six people currently living at the ISS.
The nanosat will then be detached from the NASA vehicle and begin its own orbital journey around the earth. Citizens’ data will remain in orbit for between five and 18 months, the typical lifespan of this type of satellite. It will then burn out and disappear.
For Ashurbeyli, the launch fulfills a pledge he made when establishing the “space nation” to take its citizens to space via their data.
“I promised there would be a launch,” he says. “We selected NASA as a reliable partner … because we have to meet the commitments that I made 13 months ago.”
Getting it off the ground
Within 40 hours of the project being announced in 2016, over 100,000 people had applied for citizenship on Asgardia’s website. After three weeks, Asgardia had 500,000 applicants.
Anyone over 18 years old, with an email address, regardless of gender, nationality, race, religion, and financial standing can apply for citizenship — including ex-convicts, provided they are clear of charges at the time of application.
Today, there are 114,000 Asgardians from 204 countries — a population drop from 211,000 in June, when voting to determine the details of Asgardia’s constitution began.
Only those who agreed to adopt the finalized constitution are counted as Asgardians.
Turkey currently has the largest number of Asgardians, with over 16,500 residents.
Rayven Sin, an artist based in Hong Kong, told CNN that she signed up to become an Asgardian in November 2016 after hearing about it on a Chinese radio show while she was in Toronto.
“I really want to be able to see if human beings are able to have more opportunity to express their opinions,” she told CNN. “The society we live in now — everything seems to be either capitalism or communism — there’s a lot of conflict.
“As a human being, I would hope (to see) if we could have other ways (of living). For a better life, and for more options.”
John Spiro, a digital marketing specialist who organizes a monthly meet-up for Hong Kong-based Asgardians, told CNN it was the possibility of sending personal data into space that excited him.
“I help translate and preserve Buddhist sutras as a hobby and the symbolism of sending one of those religious texts in electronic form ‘up to the heavens’ seemed very nice.”
Out of this world idea
Going forward, the Asgardia team hopes to create habitable platforms in low-earth orbits — the first one located 100 to 200 miles (161 to 321 kilometers) from space, which is also where the ISS is located.
The first human flight to this location is projected to take place in eight years’ time.
“We want to give equal opportunities to everyone who has a mind, who can do something, for their protection,” Ashurbeyli said.
“Our real home is not the house or the city where we were born. (Our) home is planet Earth, (and) we want to protect it.
“(It’s) not a fantasy. Going to Mars, the galactics, so on — that’s just fake. I intend something more real.”
Further satellite launches are in the works but no dates have yet been confirmed.

Rocket scientist
A 53-year-old rocket scientist, Ashurbeyli says he is single-handedly bankrolling the project — for a sum that’s undisclosed.
Regularly reported to be a billionaire — although he has never appeared on the Forbes rich lists — the Azerbaijan-born Russian graduated from the Azerbaijan State Oil Academy in 1985, and three years later founded Socium, a software and consulting firm turned holding company with over 10,000 employees, according to his website.
After moving to Moscow in the 1990s, he became a heavyweight in the science industry and, in 2010, was awarded the Russian State Science and Technology Prize. Three years later, he founded the Aerospace International Research Center (AIRC) in Vienna, and today he is chairman of UNESCO’s Science of Space committee.
In short, Ashurbeyli is no beginner when it comes to space.
He did, however, resign from all governmental organizations in 2011, according to his website, and now claims to be politically neutral.
At a press conference in Hong Kong in June 2017, Ashurbeyli explained that Asgardia is a project he has been dreaming of since childhood.
“I was interested in doing something unusual that nobody else was doing,” Ashurbeyli told CNN. “It was my dream to create an independent country.”
That ambition became more concrete after Ashurbeyli gave a speech at a conference on space law at McGill University in Montreal in 2016, where he was inspired by a discussion about the laws governing murder, marriage and divorce in space.
“I thought: ‘Why not organize a country?’ Not only for lawyers. But for technicians, for engineers, for every human … because he’s currently restricted by the laws of the country he was born in.”
Currently space law is adhered to in the form of the Outer Space Treaty, signed by 103 countries including the US and Russia.

Russian billionaire and internet oligarch, Yuri Milner, announced plans to pay for the first privately funded interplanetary space mission to search for life on Enceladus, Saturn’s sixth-largest moon.
Famous for its columns or ‘plumes’ of water vapor venting from the moon’s southern polar region, Enceladus is considered by mainstream scientists to have the best chance of harboring some form of life in the solar system besides Earth.
Milner wants to beat NASA to Enceladus, which is also planning a billion dollar trip to the distant moon in ten years.
It appears that Milner is more interested in deep space exploration than his contemporaries, Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos, who are looking to create near-space business enterprises.

The ‘plumes’ are the columns of water vapor and simple hydrocarbons venting from the moon’s south polar region that were first seen and later passed through by the Cassini probe. The “more expensive mission” he’s referring to is NASA’s proposed $1 billion New Frontiers program which would not launch until at least the mid-2020s.
If you’re wondering whether he will accomplish this lofty goal, Milner is a billionaire who has put money into space projectsbefore. He’s invested $100 million in the radio search for extraterrestrial intelligence (Breakthrough Listen), another $100 million to send a fleet of nano-probes to the Alpha Centauri star system (Breakthrough Starshot) and more financial support to enhance the capability of the European Southern Observatory’s Very Large Telescope and to launch – both for improving observations of the Alpha Centauri system.

• Astronomers are now certain that the mysterious object detected hurtling past our sun last month is indeed from another solar system. They have named it Oumuamua, a Hawaiian term for messenger or scout.
• It is the first space rock in our solar system to have been identified as forming around another star.
• Oumuamua is extremely elongated and roughly 400 metres long. It is thought to be an extremely dark object, absorbing 96% of the light that falls on its surface, and it is red – the hallmark of organic, carbon-based molecules.
• Oumuamua will take about a decade to cross our solar system and then disappear back into interstellar space. It also rotates once every 7.3 hours.

Astronomers are now certain that the mysterious object detected hurtling past our sun last month is indeed from another solar system. They have named it 1I/2017 U1(’Oumuamua) and believe it could be one of 10,000 others lurking undetected in our cosmic neighbourhood.
The certainty of its interstellar origin comes from an analysis that shows its orbit is almost impossible to achieve from within our solar system.
Its name comes from a Hawaiian term for messenger or scout. Indeed, it is the first space rock to have been identified as forming around another star. Since asteroids coalesce during the process of planet formation, this object can tell us something about the formation of planets around its unknown parent star.
The latest analyses with ground-based telescopes show that ’Oumuamua is quite similar to some comets and asteroids in our own solar system. This is important because it suggests that planetary compositions like ours could be typical across the galaxy.
It is thought to be an extremely dark object, absorbing 96% of the light that falls on its surface, and it is red. This colour is the hallmark of organic (carbon-based) molecules. Organic molecules are the building blocks of the biological molecules that allow life to function.
It is widely thought that the delivery of organic molecules to the early Earth by the collision of comets and asteroids made life here possible. ’Oumuamua shows that the same could be possible in other solar systems.
Its characteristics have been published by two independent groups of astronomers. The first group, led by Karen Meech, University of Hawaii, also found that ’Oumuamua was extremely elongated and roughly 400 metres long. Using the European Southern Observatory’s Very Large Telescope(VLT) they also found that it rotated once every 7.3 hours.
The other group of astronomers, led by David Jewitt, University of California Los Angeles, estimated how many other interstellar visitors like it there might be in our solar system.
Surprisingly, they calculate that another 10,000 could be closer to the sun than the eighth planet, Neptune, which lies 30 times further from the sun than the Earth. Yet these are currently undetected.

The fact that hundreds of such people, many of whom hold high-ranking positions, have been speaking up about this topic for decades is fascinating. It’s pretty hard to believe that so many people with verified credentials would all lie about something that could so easily damage their careers.
Although there is no definitive way to prove to the ‘mainstream’ world that ET is real, we now have hundreds of thousands of documents from multiple countries putting to rest the question “Do UFOs exist?” We know they do from these documents, which show objects are tracked on radar, spotted by the pilots sent to intercept, and in some cases, simultaneously tracked on ground radar.
Information like this, particularly the fact that agencies are working to uncover the truth, shouldn’t really come as a surprise.
The CIA has a long history of putting resources toward studying this phenomenon, in fact, as well as investigating what other countries know about it as well.
