Giant Planet-Sized UFO Detected by NASA’s Stereo Spacecraft

• A video clip originally from YouTube channel ‘A51:S’ (that went viral on the ‘UFOmania’ YouTube channel) shows a spherical UFO the size of a planet moving across deep space with an imprinted marking on its surface. The video description explains, “While researching the site of the (NASA ‘STEREO’ observation mission), I found this fantastic UFO that as you can see has such a planetarium and seems to have a force field around it.”  (see video clip below)

• Conspiracy theorists claim that the bizarre object in the video might be an alien mega-ship from deep space, or an alien space station, or the killer planet Nibiru, and that President Trump has responded to this threat by implementing a ‘Space Force’ branch of the US military.

 

A video clip originally made by YouTube channel ‘A51:S’ is now the hottest debating point among conspiracy theorists and alien enthusiasts. The strange clip shows a spherical UFO moving across deep space, and interestingly, the flying object has imprinted drawings on its body. The YouTube channel claims that they have spotted this bizarre object while researching the website of NASA’s stereo mission.

Even though the video was uploaded a month back, it gained popularity after it was shared online by conspiracy theory channel ‘UFOmania’.

“While researching the site of STEREO mission, I found this fantastic UFO that as you can see has such a planetarium and seems to have a force field around it,” wrote UFOmania on the video’s description.

The uploader of the video reveals that the UFO spotted in the Stereo mission live feed is so gigantic, that it is of the size of a planet. As the video went viral, conspiracy theorists have started claiming that the bizarre object in the video might be an alien mega-ship from deep space.

The video which was uploaded a day ago has already racked up more than 4,100 views, and viewers were quick to speculate what the eerie object could be.

NASA Leads New Search for Alien Life With Scientists Developing Guidebook for Finding Biosignatures

• A NASA project called Nexus for Exoplanet Systems Science or NExSS was formed three years ago and comprised of an international team of scientists, astrobiologists, planetary scientists, Earth scientists, heliophysicists, astrophysicists, chemists, and biologists, are searching the 3,700 exoplanets discovered in the past 30 years for signs of extraterrestrial life known as biosignatures. The initial results of the team’s work are detailed in five separate papers published in June in the journal Astrobiology.

• Biosignatures are any element, particles, molecules, or phenomenon that may have been created by alien life forms at present or left behind by the extraterrestrials in the past and serves as proof of other beings hiding or still living in one of these exoplanets.

• The scientists aim to identify as many biosignatures as they can, especially those that are not found on Earth. This way, the scientists hoped to avoid being tricked into thinking that a planet is uninhabitable just because it does not have similar biosignatures with what is found on Earth.

• “We have to be open to the possibility that life may arise in many contexts in a galaxy with so many diverse worlds — perhaps with purple-colored life instead of the familiar green-dominated life forms on Earth, for example,” explained Mary Parenteau, a coauthor of one of the papers and an astrobiologist at NASA’s Ames Research Center in Silicon Valley. Edward Schwieterman, the lead author of one of the papers, said for example, the absence of oxygen in one planet is not enough basis to classify that planet as uninhabitable. Instead of focusing on whether a planet is habitable or not,experts should focus on the detectability of life on the planet.

• Another paper evaluated atmospheric conditions, the presence of oceans and continents, and its overall climate. Two other papers discussed future scientific technologies that can be used to accurately detect biosignatures even from the most distant exoplanets.

 

NASA is at the helm of a new project searching for signs of extraterrestrial life among the 3,700 exoplanets discovered in the past 30 years.

The project specifically aims to identify biosignatures that may have been created by alien life forms at present or left behind by the extraterrestrials in the past. Biosignatures are any element, particles, molecules, or phenomenon that serves as proof of other beings hiding or still living in one of these exoplanets.

The project, called Nexus for Exoplanet Systems Science or NExSS, was formed three years ago with the ultimate goal of finding answers to question whether humans are alone in the universe. NASA builds an international team of scientists comprised of astrobiologists, planetary scientists, Earth scientists, heliophysicists, astrophysicists, chemists, and biologists to work on the project.

Initial results of the team’s work were detailed in five separate papers published this month in the journal Astrobiology.

Ultimately, the papers all proposed ways to interpret the presence of most promising signs of life so that humans may distinguish another living world that might have been masquerading as a barren planet all along. They wanted to make way to pass the stage of theorizing to finally coming up with robust scientific proof.

“Given the massive implications of detecting an alien biosphere on an exoplanet, we’re going to need all the tools in the toolbox to build up a sufficient level of confidence in our findings,” said Theresa Fisher, a contributing author in one of the papers and a geological science graduate from Arizona State University’s School of Earth and Space Exploration.

Experts said that NASA three years ago we recognized the possibility of the existence of portals on Earth that can teleport any object from one place to another. Several space probes have confirmed the information that the portals are where the geomagnetic field is faced with a stream of ionized particles from the sun’s bark, also called the solar wind. This creates a kind of portal between Earth and the Sun. It is possible that the distortion may move the person to another reality or another world.

According to ufologists, NASA experts are actively studying these portals from March 2015. Their necessity lies in the fact that UFO fell on the planet. After NASA, Now SpaceX Delays Manned Moon Mission Fearing Extraterrestrial Aliens, Say Conspiracy Theorists

• SpaceX, the private space company led by South African billionaire Elon Musk recently revealed that they have delayed their plans to send private customers into the orbit of the Moon, citing “technical challenges”.

• A video by ‘Disclose TV’ and posted on the YouTube channel ‘UFO Mania’ (see 2:35 minute video below) suggests that the real reason behind the delay in the mission is related to extraterrestrials. Most of the commenters on the video argue that the reason behind the delay could be the presence of extraterrestrials on Moon. They believe that way back in the early 1970’s aliens warned humans never to come back to the Moon.

• Donald Trump’s 2017 Directives indicated that the United States was planning another manned-mission to the Moon. Then NASA announced that it canceled its Moon Rover program. Conspiracy theorists proclaimed that aliens are living in secret underground bases on the Moon, and that NASA and the U.S. government is intentionally covering-up the presence of aliens on the Moon.

Something mysterious behind the mission’s delay?
A video uploaded by conspiracy theory YouTube channel ‘UFO Mania’ suggests that the real reason behind the delay in the mission could be something related to extraterrestrials. Using inputs from ‘Disclose TV’, the narrator of the video mostly talks about SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket in this clip. However, it is crystal clear that the conspiracy theory channel is not convinced with the technical issue explanation put forward by Elon Musk and his team.

“The company is also facing queries regarding the practicality of its flagship Falcon Heavy rocket which was launched for the very first time earlier this year. The rocket was the most powerful of its kind to leave the Earth’s orbit since the Apollo missions and so its launch, and the various technical problems which beset the team working on the project received widespread media scrutiny and scrutiny from industry experts,” said the conspiracy theory channel.

General public reacts
The video has already gone viral, and viewers were quick to speculate the real reason behind the moon mission delay.

Most of the people who watched the video strongly argue that the actual reason behind the delay could be the purported presence of extraterrestrials on Moon. These people believe that aliens have warned humans never to come back to the moon way back in the early 1970s.

Neil Armstrong: “Their Ships Were Far Superior To Ours”

• During a NASA symposium, Neil Armstrong, known as “the first man to ever set foot on the Moon”, (pictured above left, along with fellow Apollo 11 crew members Michael Collins and Buzz Aldrin) made some amazing statements regarding the Apollo 11 mission. When asked why NASA won’t go back to the Moon, Armstrong stated, “the fact is, we were warned off [by extraterrestrial beings on the Moon]”…“their [ET] ships were far superior to ours both in size and technology – boy, were they big! … and menacing … No, there is no question of a space station [on the Moon].”…“NASA was committed at that time, and couldn’t risk a panic on earth,” so the Moon mission was to quickly go in and get out.

The Solar System Has At Least Eight Giant, Secret Oceans Where Alien Life May Exist

• Scientists think Europa’s ocean might even be habitable to alien life. Jupiter’s icy moon (about the size of Earth’s moon) is hiding an enormous ocean of saltwater. If all of Earth’s water were combined into one, it would be only half as large as Europa’s liquid reservoir.

• “If there’s life at Europa, it’d almost certainly be an independently evolved form of life,” Bob Pappalardo, a planetary scientist at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory. “Discovering extraterrestrial life would revolutionize our understanding of biology.”

• This Article compares the volume of water on Earth with the volume of water/ice on these other moons and planetoids in the solar system as a precursor for the possibility of sustaining extraterrestrial life. While Enceladus and Dione hold less water than the Earth, Europa, Pluto, Triton, Callisto, Titan, and Ganymede all hold quite a bit more than the Earth.

• Mimas, a moon of Saturn, and Ceres, the largest asteroid in the solar system, might also have subsurface oceans. But scientists aren’t yet sure how big each one might be, if they exist at all.

• Earth – The Earth harbors about 1.335 ZL of water, according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. ZL (zettaliters) equals 1 billion cubic kilometers.

• Enceladus – Enceladus is a relatively small moon of Saturn, at just 314 miles in diameter — about as wide as the state of Arizona. It holds 0.04 ZL of water/ice. (Enceladus hold about 3% of the Earth’s volume of water). But its ocean sprays water into space. NASA’s Cassini spacecraft confirmed the ocean’s existence after its arrival in 2004, later detecting and flying through the water plumes to “taste” them.

• Triton – Triton is a moon of Neptune that’s some 2.8 billion miles from Earth. It holds 6.73 ZL of water (mostly ice). (Therefore, the Earth holds only 20% of the volume of water/ice on Triton.) Photos made by Voyager 2 show that Triton has “cryovolcanoes” that spew out water and ammonia.

• Dione – Dione is a small, icy moon of Saturn. Scientists determined in 2016 that — like Enceladus — Dione likely has a subsurface ocean containing 0.47 ZL of water/ice. (This is 35% of the water volume found on Earth.)

• Pluto – Pluto is the famous planet of yesteryear that astronomers agreed to demote to a dwarf planet. NASA’s New Horizons spacecraft recently helped determine that Pluto has a liquid ocean packed with ammonia at a volume of 4.3 ZL. (So the Earth holds only 31% of the volume of water/ice that is on Pluto.)

• Europa – Europa is the smallest of the four moons of Jupiter and is about the size of Earth’s moon. It likely has a huge, salty ocean containing 2.91 ZL in volume, and shoots jets of its ocean water into space. (So the Earth contains about 46% of the volume of water on Europa.)

• Callisto – Callisto, the second-largest moon of Jupiter, is covered in ice, and almost certainly has a vast ocean with a volume of 19.3 ZL. (The Earth contains only about 7% of the water on Callisto.) However, Callisto’s crust is about 125 miles thick which makes it very difficult for scientists to discover what’s going on down there.

• Titan – Titan is the largest moon of Saturn and the second-largest moon in the solar system. Scientists often refer to it as a “proto-Earth” due to its composition and size. A similarly colossal ocean of liquid water may exist below its roughly 60-mile-thick crust of ice, with a total volume of 31.3 ZL. (The Earth’s water volume is only about 4% of the volume of water/ice on Titan.)

• Ganymede – Ganymede is the largest of Jupiter’s Galilean moons, and the biggest moon in the solar system. Its stores of water amount to 52.7 ZL. (So the Earth’s water volume is only 2.5% of that on Ganymede.)

 

Scientists recently found even more evidence that Jupiter’s icy moon Europa is hiding an enormous ocean of saltwater.

To say Europa’s ocean is vast would be an understatement. If all of Earth’s water — oceans, lakes, rivers, rain, clouds, and more — were combined into one blob, it’d be just half as large as Europa’s liquid reservoir. (And Europa is about the size of Earth’s moon.)

Scientists think Europa’s ocean might even be habitable to alien life.

“If there’s life at Europa, it’d almost certainly be an independently evolved form of life,” Bob Pappalardo, a planetary scientist at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, previously told Business Insider. “Would it use DNA or RNA? Would it use the same chemistry to store and use energy? Discovering extraterrestrial life would revolutionize our understanding of biology.”

To figure out how much liquid water and ice these worlds have compared to Earth, Business Insider contacted Steve Vance, a planetary scientist at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory. Vance closely monitors research about ocean worlds to create estimates of ice thickness, ocean depth, and other parameters.

Proposed NASA Budget Includes $10 Million for Hunting Aliens

• On May 7th, NASA’s $100M ‘Breakthrough Listen’ project announced that an enhancement to its CSIRO Parkes Radio Telescope in New South Wales, Australia will allow it to scan millions of stars across the Milky Way over the next 60 days. The telescope will allow scientists to quickly scan the entire sky rather than one single point of the sky at a time.

• “With these new capabilities, we are scanning our galaxy in unprecedented detail,” said Danny Price, at Breakthrough Listen. “By trawling through these huge datasets for signatures of technological civilizations, we hope to uncover evidence that our planet, among the hundreds of billions in our galaxy, is not the only where intelligent life has arisen.”

• Also, a new bill in the US House of Representatives proposes $10 million a year to NASA to search for signs of extraterrestrial life, searching for technosignatures such as radio transmissions in order to “meet the NASA objective to search for life’s origin, evolution, distribution and future in the universe,” according to the bill. If fully passed, it would mark the first time since 1992 that NASA has received federal funding for the search for extraterrestrial life, and reinstate SETI into the NASA budget.

 

The search for extraterrestrial life is getting extra.

NASA and a project called Breakthrough Listen are both making moves to help boost the chances of finding aliens.

On May 7, Breakthrough Listen announced updates to the CSIRO Parkes Radio Telescope in New South Wales, Australia, that will allow it to scan millions of stars across the Milky Way over the next 60 days.
The $100 million Breakthrough Listen project was founded by a group of scientists, including late physicist Stephen Hawking, in 2016 based on the notion that we should be listening for signs of extraterrestrials — not just looking.

Breakthrough’s previous effort with Parkes only scanned one single point of the sky at a time, with a focus on stars near the sun. But the telescope’s latest updates allow scientists to scan the entire sky at 130 gigabits per second — which is thousands of times the bandwidth of your laptop’s internet connection on its best day.

“With these new capabilities, we are scanning our galaxy in unprecedented detail,” Danny Price, a research fellow at Breakthrough Listen, said in a statement. “By trawling through these huge datasets for signatures of technological civilizations, we hope to uncover evidence that our planet, among the hundreds of billions in our galaxy, is not the only where intelligent life has arisen.”

Vast Reserve of Frozen Water Might Hide Beneath the Moon’s Surface

• After analyzing a lunar meteor that fell in the African desert 13 years ago, scientists discovered that the meteor contained large amounts of moganite, a mineral which is only formed in the presence of evaporated alkaline fluids like water.

• Masahiro Kayama, a scientist at Tohoku University in Japan who led the team that made the discovery, believes that this moganite formed when water in the surface dust of the moon was evaporated by the harsh rays of the sun, and says that there is likely more water below the surface.

• Kayama says that the subsurface of the moon may be made of as much as 0.6 percent water, meaning that extraction could yield 6 liters of water for every cubic meter processed. This could be enough that future colonists on the moon wouldn’t need to rely on water from Earth to survive. It could also be used to supply missions to Mars and beyond, and hydrogen could be extracted for rocket fuel.

• Previously, NASA’s Lunar Crater Observation and Sensing Satellite found water near the Moon’s south pole, and India’s Chandrayaan-1 found traces of water in the thin atmosphere surrounding the moon. Perhaps water is far more abundant in our solar system and galaxy-at-large than we’ve always assumed.

 

We often forget how mysterious our moon is. Maybe it’s due to seeing it every night, just hanging out in the sky, predictably waxing and waning. Of all the celestial bodies in our solar system, the moon is probably taken for granted the most. That’s too bad, because the moon is weird, and scientists are making new discoveries about our dear Luna all the time. The latest is that the moon is likely hiding huge amounts of ice under her dusty surface, which could be mined and used as crucial supplies for space exploration and colonization missions.

The discovery was made after analyzing a lunar meteor that fell in the African desert 13 years ago, according to Space.com. Scientists discovered that the meteor fell from the moon containing large amounts of moganite, a mineral close in structure to quartz but which is only formed in the presence of alkaline fluids like water. Specifically, it’s formed in the evaporation of water. Masahiro Kayama, a scientist at Tohoku University in Japan who led the team that made the discovery, believes that this moganite formed when water in the surface dust of the moon was evaporated by the harsh rays of the sun, and says that there is likely more water below the surface:
In a moganite, there is less water, because moganite forms from the evaporation of water. That’s the case on the surface of the moon. But in the subsurface, much water remains as ice, because it’s protected from the sunlight.

Mainstream media outlets which used to criticize and ridicule the subject now seem to be taking measures to bring more credibility to the UFO topic.

• [Editor’s Note] Worden’s account that the human race is descended from people who “got in a little space craft… came here and… started [a] civilization here… to survive” closely resembles recent information that the survivors of the planet Maldek explosion, which devastated Mars, traveled inside of the Moon to the Earth’s orbit and eventually inhabited the continent of Atlantis, which became Antarctica after a pole shift around 12,000 years ago. Although they were not the original Earth humans, they played a major role in genetically enhancing the primitive indigenous humans that they found here to spawn the modern human species.

 

The list of astronauts who have shared their knowledge and beliefs about UFOs and intelligent extraterrestrial civilizations that are or have been visiting our planet is extensive, and growing. Apollo 14 astronaut Dr. Edgar Mitchell, for instance, once told us there “have been crashed craft, and bodies recovered,” and Dr. Brian O’Leary told the world there is “abundant evidence that we are being contacted.” Still more, like Gordon Cooper and Story Musgrave, have all made some interesting remarks about this topic.

Also joining them is a long and growing list of hundreds, if not thousands of high ranking military personnel, political figures, academics, and many more.

On top of this, we have hundreds of thousands of pages released by multiple governments that document these cases. Although we may not know exactly what is going on, we know something is.

All of this information that’s leaked over the past few years has also provoked a response from mainstream media outlets, which used to criticize and ridicule the subject. Now, they are taking corrective measures to bring more credibility to this topic, if poorly.

This has been seen with recent citizens hearings about UFOs, as well as celebrities like Tom Delonge creating awareness initiatives in conjunction with people from major corporations and intelligence agencies.

Take the founder of Bigelow Aerospace, for example, who is one of many who has shared his knowledge about the fact that we are not alone, and that we are being visited.

This subject has been swept under the radar by so many people, for so long, yet suddenly we’ve had this burst of information that’s made it clear to most that something is going on here.

The more popular this subject gets, the more it enters the mainstream arena, and the more we need to put our critical thinking caps on.

For years, governments and intelligence agencies have had a very heavy interest in this subject. All of the mainstream organizations created to investigate this phenomenon, like NICAP and MUFON, originate from the intelligence and defence community. This is a common trend with regards to mainstream initiatives dealing with the UFO/extraterrestrial subject.

The point is, our government and mainstream media routinely deceive us about important topics. Yet people look to them as reliable sources of information, even though mainstream media has direct connections to the intelligence community and is controlled by a small group of financial elite with very specific agendas.

NASA’s TESS Satellite Launches to Seek Out New Alien Worlds

• On April 18th, NASA launched the Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite, or “TESS” from Cape Canaveral, Florida. (It was delayed two days to tweak the Falcon 9’s rocket’s guidance, navigation and control systems.) TESS’ two-year, $200M mission is to hunt for alien worlds in our local star system. The satellite will focus on the nearest and brightest stars, using its four cameras to look for worlds that may be close enough to be studied in depth by other instruments.

• TESS principal investigator George Ricker says, “TESS is going to dramatically increase the number of planets that we have to study… “It’s going to more than double the number that have been seen and detected by Kepler.” (The Kepler satellite previously mapped 2,650 nearby Exoplanets.) These satellites locate Exoplanets using the “transit method,” by noting tiny brightness dips these worlds cause when they cross their host star.

• TESS will zoom around our planet, on a highly elliptical 13.7-day orbit that no spacecraft has ever occupied before. This orbit will take TESS as close to Earth as 67,000 miles and as far away as 232,000 miles. TESS will arrive in its final orbit in mid-June, if all goes according to plan. The science campaign will start shortly thereafter.

The agency’s Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS) launched today (April 18) from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida, rising off the pad atop a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket at 6:51 p.m. EDT (2251 GMT) and deploying into Earth orbit 49 minutes later.

TESS will hunt for alien worlds around stars in the sun’s neighborhood — planets that other missions can then study in detail. And the spacecraft will be incredibly prolific, if all goes according to plan.

“TESS is going to dramatically increase the number of planets that we have to study,” TESS principal investigator George Ricker, of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, said during a pre-launch briefing Sunday (April 15).

“It’s going to more than double the number that have been seen and detected by Kepler,” Ricker added, referring to NASA’s Kepler space telescope, which has spotted 2,650 confirmed exoplanets to date —about 70 percent of all the worlds known beyond our solar system.

And the Falcon 9’s first stage came back to Earth less than 9 minutes after liftoff today, touching down softly on a robotic SpaceX “drone ship” stationed in the Atlantic Ocean. SpaceX has now pulled off two dozen such landings during Falcon 9 launches — part of the company’s push to develop fully and rapidly reusable rockets and spacecraft, a breakthrough that SpaceX founder and CEO Elon Musk has said will revolutionize spaceflight.

SpaceX has re-flown 11 of these first stages to date, but the tally didn’t increase today: This Falcon 9 was brand-new.

Today’s launch was originally scheduled for Monday evening (April 16), but it was delayed by two days to give SpaceX time to investigate a potential issue with the rocket’s guidance, navigation and control systems.

Looking for nearby worlds

Like Kepler, TESS will find alien planets using the “transit method,” noting the tiny brightness dips these worlds cause when they cross their host stars’ faces. But there are some big differences between the missions.

During its prime mission from 2009 through 2013, Kepler stared continuously at a single patch of sky, monitoring about 150,000 stars simultaneously. (Kepler is now embarked on a different mission, called K2, during which it studies a variety of cosmic objects and phenomena, exoplanets among them. But the iconic telescope’s days are numbered; it’s almost out of fuel.) Most of these stars are far from the sun — from several hundred light-years to 1,000 light-years or more.

But TESS will conduct a broad sky survey during its two-year prime mission, covering about 85 percent of the sky. The satellite will focus on the nearest and brightest stars, using its four cameras to look for worlds that may be close enough to be studied in depth by other instruments.

What Is Nibiru Cataclysm? Bogus Theory About Fake Planet Destroying Earth

• The theory of a large planetary object called Nibiru that will either pass very close to or collide with Earth have persisted since 1995 when Nancy Lieder, a Wisconsin woman who claimed to be in contact with the Zetas, an ET group from the Zeta Reticuli star system, said that Nibiru, aka ‘Planet X’, would pass through the inner solar system in May 2003 causing mayhem on Earth. But Leider was also wrong in declaring that the comet Hale-Bopp was actually a distant star. Any such rogue planet four times the size of the Earth has yet to be detected by the most advanced scientific instruments.

• In a 1976 book by Zecharia Sitchin, Sitchen related that according to Sumerian mythology, the planet Nibiru had a long, elliptical 3,600-year orbit around the sun and would soon be traveling through our inner solar system. Believers pegged the arrival of Nibiru as December 21, 2012 to coincide with the ending of the Mayan calendar.

• When Nibiru didn’t arrive in 2012, “Christian numerologist” David Meade claimed that the actual date of Nibiru’s arrival would be Sept. 23, 2017. Then he said it would be a month later in October 2017. Now Meade says that the big day is April 23, 2018. (If you’re reading this post, it didn’t happen.)

• Any theory of a massive planet headed toward Earth has been rejected by space agencies the world over, including NASA. (Not that this means anything.)

• [Editor’s Note] The existence of a distant brown dwarf sun along with its orbiting planet ‘Nibiru’ that is in orbit with our central Sun, and the theory that this brown dwarf star would soon travel through the inner solar system are two different things. If this brown dwarf star was going to plow through the inner solar system in the near future, it would be seen by every amateur astronomer on Earth by now. Much of the ancient Sumerian tablet translations made by Zecharia Sitchin has been debunked including a visit from the dreaded Wormwood planet. But this doesn’t mean that such a brown dwarf star doesn’t exist. It may be too dark to see. And it may be accompanied by the planet Nibiru, home to the evil and manipulative Anunnaki civilization.

 

Theories about the imminent advent of doomsday — when humanity, all life on Earth, or the planet itself — will perish are not new, but in recent years, few have appeared as frequently as those associated with Nibiru. This theory, in its current version, claims a large planetary object (called Nibiru) will either collide with Earth or pass very close to it, effectively causing large-scale destruction, and that this would happen sometime in the early 21st century.

Like all bogus pseudoscience, the Nibiru cataclysm theory has evolved since it was first presented in 1995, its believers constantly shifting the predicted date for doomsday after the earlier date had passed. The credit for coming up with the first iteration of the theory goes to Nancy Lieder, a Wisconsin woman, who claimed aliens from the Zeta Reticuli star system (the binary star system is very real, located about 39 light-years away) communicated with her using an implant in her brain.

Lieder calls herself the “emissary” of the Zetas, the aliens who supposedly singled her out for that role, and runs a website to relay to Earthlings what the extraterrestrials have to say. She claimed a planet-like object, called Planet X, would pass through the inner solar system in May 2003, and that it would cause a slowdown or stoppage of Earth’s rotation, leading to a shift of the poles and ensuing dangerous conditions on the planet.

That Lieder’s information, whether it comes from Zetas or her imagination, is not accurate is clear, given her other outlandish claims, such as Hale-Bopp not being a comet but a distant star. So her description of Planet X (which has been theorized by some astronomers but is yet to be detected by the most advanced scientific instruments we have) as being four time the size of Earth are highly dubious, at best.

Conspiracy Theorist Claims ET Could Soon Make Contact After Spotting 7 ‘UFOs’ Near the ISS

• A conspiracy theorist known only as ‘Graham’ claims that video from a NASA live-feed from the International Space Station on March 31st shows a UFO. He posted the video on his YouTube channel “Conspiracy Depot”. (see 2:14 minute video below)  He claims to have such ISS live-feed video evidence of seven UFO’s lingering above the Earth.

• Graham says that sightings all over the world are increasing at a dramatic rate. “We are being watched and observed like a large planet sized scale lab experiment, I am of the opinion that the other races visiting our planet are not hostile.” “After all, with the technology they must employ to travel vast distances etc, I’m sure they could wipe us out in the blink of an eye. …The fact we are still breathing on this beautiful planet means either they are here to help or observe.”

• Graham believes that a timescale has been agreed upon by world leaders and the ET’s that ET beings will openly reveal themselves within 15 years. “Eventually, they will make themselves known… Imagine how this will impact the Earth – new technology, medicines and way of life, our whole civilization could change to reflect one of unity and peace.”

• A NASA spokesperson offered a different explanation for the anomolies: “Reflections from station windows, the spacecraft structure itself or lights from Earth commonly appear as artifacts in photos and videos from the orbiting laboratory.”

 

A conspiracy theorist has claimed that the NASA live stream from the International Space Station has produced evidence of seven UFOs lingering above Earth.

Not only is this thought to be proof of ET’s existence, the theorist believes the aliens are probably friendly.

With so many ‘sightings’ from the ISS, the beings could come face-to-face with humans in 15 years, claims the unknown conspiracy theorist known only as ‘Graham’.

The UFO-tracking conspiracy theorist told the Daily Star that aliens are here and making their way to us.

He said: ‘Sightings all over the world are increasing at a dramatic rate.

‘We are being watched and observed like a large planet sized scale lab experiment, I am of the opinion that the other races visiting our planet are not hostile.

‘After all, with the technology they must employ to travel vast distances etc, I’m sure they could wipe us out in the blink of an eye.

‘And the fact we are still breathing on this beautiful planet means either they are here to help or observe.’

The evidence presented by Graham was obtained during a live feed from the ISS on March 31.

He then uploaded the edited footage to his YouTube channel Conspiracy Depot.

It was revealed that the UFOs were observed between 11:20 pm BST and 11:50 pm BST.

Graham revealed: ‘Eventually, they will make themselves known.
‘There is a theory that a timescale has been firmly set and agreed by world leaders and the ET’s and I think the time for disclosure will be within the next 15 years.

‘Imagine how this will impact the Earth, new technology, medicines and way of life, our whole civilisation could change to reflect one of unity and peace.

NASA Probe Makes Huge Water Discovery on Surface of Alien Dwarf Planet Ceres

• Italian scientists analyzing recent photos transmitted by NASA’s Dawn Probe of the largest asteroid, Ceres, have observed images of water ice in a dozen sites and seasonal changes on the frozen surface of the dwarf planet.

• Andrea Raponi of the Institute of Astrophysics and Planetary Science in Rome said, “The combination of Ceres moving closer to the sun in its orbit, along with seasonal change, triggers the release of water vapor from the subsurface, which then condenses on the cold crater wall.

• Ceres is also famed for its ‘alien mystery lights’ (pictured above) which appear to shine from its surface.  

• [Editor’s Note] This corroborates Tony Rodrigues’ account of his time spent on the asteroid Ceres and the highly populated subsurface Dark Fleet colony there. See video below of Tony describing the water geysers that periodically shoot up from the surface. Also, note the ‘mystery lights’ that have been detected on Ceres could confirm an advanced civilization inhabiting the dwarf planet.

Nasa’s Dawn Probe has snapped images of water ice in a dozen sites on Ceres, which is the largest object in the Asteroid Belt between Mars and Jupiter.

Italian scientists then analysed the photos and were able to observe alterations in the frozen surface of the dwarf planet. ‘This is the first direct detection of change on the surface of Ceres,’ said Andrea Raponi of the Institute of Astrophysics and Planetary Science in Rome. ‘The combination of Ceres moving closer to the sun in its orbit, along with seasonal change, triggers the release of water vapour from the subsurface, which then condenses on the cold crater wall.

‘This causes an increase in the amount of exposed ice. The warming might also cause landslides on the crater walls that expose fresh ice patches.’ Although this discovery does not necessarily mean aliens are present on the far-flung mini-world, it could mean extraterrestrial organisms could survive there because water is essential to life here on our planet.

Last year, Nasa spotted organic molecules which ‘are necessary, though not sufficient, components of life on Earth’ on Ceres. The dwarf planet is also famed for its ‘alien mystery lights’ which appear to shine from its surface. These are likely to be caused by light reflecting from ice.

Astronaut Returns to Earth With Different DNA

• After astronaut Scott Kelly’s year-long stay on the International Space Station, NASA compared Scott Kelly’s physiology with his identical twin brother, Mark Kelly (pictured above). They discovered that while most of the changes to Scott’s physiology returned to normal soon after returning to Earth, 7% of Scott Kelly’s DNA has been permanently altered. NASA has speculated on the existence of a “space gene,” which might be activated by conditions in space, causing changes in DNA.

• Identical twins have almost identical DNA, which makes them ideal candidates for studying the mental and physical health effects of space. It was Scott Kelly himself who suggested NASA use him and his brother Mark as test subjects. NASA says the changes to Scott’s DNA “related to his immune system, DNA repair, bone formation networks, hypoxia, and hypercapnia.”

• Telomeres are components of chromosomes that shorten with age. NASA expected the radiation of space to accelerate that shortening. They found, however, that Scott’s telomeres actually lengthened during his stay on the ISS. They returned to normal within two hours of his return to Earth, squashing any hope of finding the space-fountain of youth.

• While on the ISS, Scott’s gut bacteria also changed dramatically but returned to normal once back on solid ground. NASA scientists do not know whether it was due to differences in the food he ate or environmental factors, such as gravity and radiation. Being in space had no effect on Scott’s cognition, yet after returning to Earth his mental speed and accuracy began showing slight decreases.

• The full results of the NASA study will be released later in 2018.
Either space is weirder than we thought, or NASA ripped off The Fantastic Four. According to a study published by the space agency, space travel can permanently alter your DNA. Identical twin astronauts Scott and Mark Kelly were observed over the course of a year after Scott touched down on Earth after a yearlong stay on the International Space Station. The Twins Study is part of an ongoing NASA effort called the Human Research Project which studies the effects of space on the human body in preparation for eventual manned missions to Mars and other prolonged trips through the void.

Black Knight Satellite Filmed by International Space Station, UFO Watchers Say

• In 1963, NASA astronaut Gordon Cooper claimed to have seen an unknown satellite in space. NASA said Cooper was hallucinating. In 1998, the space shuttle Endeavour took a photo of the mysterious satellite and dubbed it ‘The Black Knight Satellite’. Now, video feed from the International Space Station has captured the satellite to the astonishment of control personnel. (see YouTube channel Section 51 video below) In the video, the Black Knight is seen floating near the Soyuz spacecraft set to dock with the ISS.

• Conspiracy theorists claim the satellite is 13,000 years old, of extraterrestrial origin (from Epsilon Boötis to be exact), and orbiting the Earth in near-polar orbit. NASA says that it is a thermal blanket dropped by space shuttle crew.

• [Editors Note] For me, the most compelling part of the video is a gasp made by a female crew or control personnel when the satellite appears on screen. This is no lost blanket.

 

The Black Knight Satellite is the name given to an object captured on camera by NASA astronauts during a 1998 space shuttle mission.

Conspiracy theorists claim the satellite is of extraterrestrial origin and possibly up to 13,000 years old and orbiting Earth in near-polar orbit.

The legend has been circulating since the Sixties and now footage uploaded to YouTube channel Section 51 claims to be evidence of the alleged craft.

A caption beneath the video reads: “Leaked pictures from ISS show the 13,000 year old Black Knight Satellite UFO very close to Soyuz Spacecraft during approach to the Station.”

In the video, a mysterious and long looking black object can be seen floating near the Soyuz spacecraft, which is set to dock with the ISS.

As astronauts are heard mumbling in the background, the black knight seems to stay in the distance as if it were keeping an eye on what is happening.

NASA Asked to Investigate 10,000-Year-Old Rock Paintings of ‘UFOs and ETs’

• Ancient rock paintings found in Charama, India seem to depict aliens and UFOs from 10,000 years ago.

• A video uploaded to YouTube’s The Lost History Channel (see below) says the local Indian government is seeking the help of NASA and the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) to help study these rock paintings. Says Indian archaeologist JR Bhagat, “Charama presently doesn’t have any such expert who could give clarity on the subject.”

• The rock paintings are done in natural colours that have hardly faded despite the years. “The strangely carved figures are seen holding weapon-like objects and do not have clear features.” Says Bhagat, “Specially, the nose and mouth are missing… In few pictures, they are even shown wearing space suits.”

• There appear to be depictions of aliens and UFOs found in ancient art across the globe, including in Egypt and Aboriginal rock art in Australia. This correlates with a popular ancient alien theory that our ancestors were visited by an advanced race of aliens that helped them build great monuments such as the Egyptian pyramids and Stonehenge – structures that would seem to defy the technology of primitive societies.

 

Mysterious ancient rock paintings could show depictions of advanced aliens who visited our ancestors around 10,000 years ago, according to staggering claims. The paintings, found in Charama, India, have been said by some to show aliens and UFOs, similar to how they are depicted in sci-fi movies.
A video uploaded to YouTube’s The Lost History Channel says the local government in the area is seeking the help of the US and Indian space agencies.

In the video, the narrator explains how a number of the paintings were discovered.

According to local archaeologist JR Bhagat it is unclear as to what the images were supposed to be of.
He said: “The findings suggest that humans in prehistoric times may have seen or imagined beings from other planets which still create curiosity among people and researchers, Dailystar.co.uk reports.
“Extensive research is needed for further findings. “Charama presently doesn’t have any such expert who could give clarity on the subject.“

The expert also said some of the other features of the paintings were unclear and the characters appeared to be wielding weapons.

He added: “The paintings are done in natural colours that have hardly faded despite the years.
“The strangely carved figures are seen holding weapon-like objects and do not have clear features.
“Specially, the nose and mouth are missing. “In few pictures, they are even shown wearing space suits.
We can’t refute possibility of imagination by prehistoric men but humans usually fancy such things.”
The narrator said archaeologists have contacted NASA and the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) to help solve the mystery.

• Lisa Pratt (seen above) has been appointed NASA’s Planetary Protection Officer, protecting us against threats from other planets, and vice versa.

• Pratt replaces the previous PPO, Catherine Conley, who retired after three years. NASA advertised the $187,000 per year position for a month, then spent four months interviewing candidates.

• Pratt holds a bachelor’s degree and a masters degree in botany, and a master’s and Ph.D. in geology. She also worked on a NASA project studying methane emissions and microbial life on the Greenland Ice Sheet. Pratt will step down from her current position as associate executive dean of Indiana University’s College of Arts and Sciences.

• Says Pratt: “This position plays a direct role in seeking evidence to address a profound question: Are we alone?” “We are on the verge of becoming a spacefaring species, and I feel privileged to be invited into an extraordinary conversation, pushing the frontiers of science, exploration and discovery…”

 

Rest easily, Earthlings … the planet is once again being protected. NASA, which has been looking since last August for a new Planetary Protection Officer to protect the planet against threats from other planets and to protect other planets from threats and contaminates being delivered by Earth-launched space probes, announced that the position has been filled. It’s a big job that just got bigger with the discovery of new planets outside of the Milky Way galaxy. Could that be why the previous Planetary Protection Officer retired?

NASA announced the search for a new PPO in August 2017 when the previous Planetary Protection Officer, Catherine Conley, retired after three years on the job. NASA advertised the up-to- $187,000-a year position for a month, then spent four months interviewing candidates before choosing Lisa Pratt, who will step down from her current position as associate executive dean of Indiana University’s College of Arts and Sciences.

“The title is not a title anybody should have.”

That doesn’t sound like someone who just got a new job, especially one that all of humanity is dependent on, but Lisa Pratt convinced her new bosses that she’s the right person to handle it. The daughter of a surgeon at the Mayo Clinic, she received a bachelor’s degree in botany from the University of North Carolina and a master’s in botany from the University of Illinois. Then she did what anyone with that kind of education behind them would do … she became a bartender.

Fortunately, a college mentor convinced her to go back to school and get a master’s and Ph.D. in geology, giving her what would eventually be the perfect combination of sciences to become a Planetary Protection Officer. But first, she caught NASA’s attention (and received a $2.4 million grant) with her work on the Greenland Ice Sheet (which is similar to conditions on other planets and moons) to study methane emissions and microbial life there.

Listen To Astronaut’s Awe as UFOs Surround NASA Capsule Before Contact is Lost

• On February 20 1962, John Glenn became the first U.S. astronaut to orbit the Earth in a space capsule for an extended period of time. During this flight, Glenn contacted mission control as he was seeing a “brilliant blue horizon” coming up behind him at sunrise.

• Suddenly, Glenn begins to describe an incredible sight. “I am in a big mass of some very small particles that are brilliantly lit up like they’re luminescent. I never saw anything like it. They’re coming by the capsule and they look like little stars. A whole shower of them coming by.” He said he could see them for miles in each direction.  Glenn reports that  there are literally thousands of them, spaced about eight feet apart and brilliantly lit, all around the capsule.

• Glenn took video of the sea of little lights and describes them in the video. (see 6:42 video below)

• Later in 1962, astronaut Scott Carpenter made a similar orbit on the Aurora 7 capsule and also saw these “fireflies.” Carpenter was able to tap the sides of the capsule and make them float off.

• NASA concluded they were ice particles that had accumulated on the outside of the capsule and caught by sunlight.

 

A NASA astronaut can be heard explaining his amazement at the sight of his capsule being surrounded by strange UFOs.

The recording is between astronaut John Glenn and mission control on Earth as he orbited Earth in a space capsule on February 20 1962 as the first US astronaut to do it for an extended period.

In the audio Mr Glenn, who calls himself Friendship Seven, can heard describing seeing a “brilliant blue horizon” coming up behind him as it approaches sunrise.

Then, he suddenly realises something peculiar is happening as several UFOs appear.

He said: “This is Friendship Seven. I’ll try to describe what I’m in here.

“I am in a big mass of some very small particles that are brilliantly lit up like they’re luminescent.
“I never saw anything like it.

“They’re coming by the capsule and they look like little stars.

“A whole shower of them coming by.”

he said they swirled around the capsule, were brilliantly lit, at seven or eight feet apart and all around the capsule.

He was asked by mission control if he heard any impact with the capsule, to which he said no.

He added: “They’re very slow. They’re not going away from me more than maybe three or four miles per hour.”

He then gets no response for sometime as he continues to describe what’s happening.

Mr Glenn said: “they do have a different motion from me because they swirl around the capsule and then depart back the way that I am looking.

Nuclear Weapon Signature on Mars Have Expert Saying This is Proof of Extraterrestrial Life

• Dr. John Brandenburg is a well-known and respected plasma physicist who has worked on plasma technologies, nuclear fusion, and advanced space propulsion for NASA, and invented the Microwave Electro-Thermal plasma thruster using water propellant for space propulsion. Brandenburg was the Deputy Manager of the NASA Clementine Mission to the Moon that discovered water at the Moon’s poles in 1994.

• According to Brandenburg, the superabundance of Xe 129 in the Mars atmosphere is a “nuclear weapon” signature, indicating that there was a nuclear blast on Mars that completely changed the planet’s surface.

• Brandenburg says that there are things “out there” that have been deliberately kept from us. Whether this information has been concealed because the human race is not ready for this information, or that it’s just too “mind-altering” and would change too many things, or because its disclosure would threaten to various corporate interests remains unclear.

• As we move through 2018 and beyond, more people will become open and aware to the idea that we are not alone, that we’ve never been alone, and that there is plenty of evidence to prove these claims.

 

A lot of people reading the title of this article are probably rolling their eyes, and that’s a problem. Paradigm-changing discoveries are being made every day, and if these discoveries don’t make mainstream media headlines, people dismiss them as fake news, conspiracy theories, or pseudoscience. But the small group of people who control mainstream media also have control over our perception of reality, over what we consider to be real or not real, and that’s a problem.

The world has witnessed the birth of several different “alternative” news outlets in response to this issue, yet the information they provide never makes mainstream headlines despite coming from credible sources. This has especially been the case when it comes to UFOs, extraterrestrials, and life on other planets.

Despite studies being published in multiple peer-reviewed scientific journals bringing forth some very intriguing questions, this type of information is still greeted with skepticism more often than not, though things are slowly changing. As we move through 2018 and beyond, more people will become open and aware to the idea that we are not alone, that we’ve never been alone, and that there is plenty of evidence to prove these claims.

One person working to prove them is Dr. John Brandenburg, a well-known and respected plasma physicist who joined a number of colleagues in blowing the whistle on the need for disclosure. They argue there are things “out there” that have been deliberately kept from us. Whether this information has been concealed because the human race is not ready for this information, that it’s just too “mind-altering” and would change too many things, or because its disclosure would threaten to various corporate interests, remains unclear and too broad a subject to tackle here.

Since coming out, Brandenburg has been ridiculed by the mainstream, as any Department of Defense scientist making such claims would be, but the information he shares correlates with scores of other papers and documents available in the public domain, as well as the information that’s been shared by a number of scholars over the years, about this subject.

We’ve presented his work in multiple articles, but he has now come out with new revelations.
Brandenburg worked for NASA for a number of years. He was also the Deputy Manager of the Clementine Mission to the Moon, which was part of a joint space project between the Ballistic Missile Defence Organization (BMDO) and NASA. The mission discovered water at the Moon’s poles in 1994.

He has also worked on space plasma technologies, nuclear fusion, and advanced space propulsion, and invented the Microwave Electro-Thermal plasma thruster using water propellant for space propulsion.

Mars

“The more we observe Mars, the more information we’re getting that it really is a fascinating planet, from the Curiosity Rover we now know that Mars once was like a planet very much like Earth, with long salty seas, with fresh water lakes, probably with snow capped peaks and clouds and a water cycle just like we’re studying here on Earth. . . . Something has happened to Mars, it lost its water.”

The quote above is from John Grunsfeld, a five-time space flow astronaut and associate administrator of NASA’s Science Mission Directive. It was given at a NASA press conference where representatives told the world that there is a water Mars, that it’s not the dry, arid planet we imagined it to be, and that it was once very much Earth-like and still holds the possibility of harbouring life. After all, water means life.

In that conference, they admit to a drastic atmospheric shift that occurred on Mars which took it from its Earth-like composition to the one we see today. They provide no explanation for how this happened.
According to Brandenburg, there was a nuclear blast that completely changed the planet (the changes mentioned at the press conference linked in the above paragraph. He states: “The question has been raise as to why a superabundance of Xe 129 in the Mars atmosphere, relative to every other major planetary isotopic reservoir in the Solar System can be considered as “nuclear weapon” signature on mars. In this brief article I will summarize how Xe 129 superabundance occurs physically and is associated in the open literature with “fast neutron fission” found in supernova – the close physical analog to a hydrogen bomb explosion (3,4,5). I will also show that Earth atmospheric data compared between 1937 (1), just before the dawn of the nuclear age, and that done in 1950 and 1978, clearly shows an increase of Xe 129 from 1937 relative to other Xe isotopes and can therefore be associated with open air nuclear weapon testing and plutonium production, which itself produces large amounts of fast neutron fission of Uranium and Plutonium isotopes.”

Everything We Learned About (Probable) Aliens in 2017

• 2017 marks the most convincing year yet for the belief that life must exist beyond our planet. Believing in extraterrestrial is no longer reserved for conspiracy theorists in tinfoil hats. Nearly half of humanity believes aliens are out there, according to a recent study.
Here are five stories that prove it’s only a matter of time before we meet our celestial neighbors:

• 1. Scientists keep finding Earth-like planets – In 2017 there were dozens of discoveries of earth-like “Super Earths” contained within a planetary “Goldilocks zone” where conditions are just right for water to exist.

• 2. Reported UFO sightings are at their highest ever – A George Mason University doctoral student found that UFO sightings have hit an all-time high and that most of the sightings come from the US. Since the first recorded UFO flew over Portugal in 1905, there have been at least 104,947 sightings. Annual sightings have spiked from about 5,000 in 1980 to about 45,000 in 2010.

• 3. Life may already be hanging out in our own solar system – NASA scientists revealed that ice planets, like Pluto and Neptune, could harbor life deep beneath their icy surfaces. Their moons could have enough gravitational pull to create energy beneath the planet’s surface – generating heat and allowing a sub-surface ocean to exist.

• 4. NASA hired someone to protect us from aliens – In August, NASA posted a job listing for a ‘planetary protection officer’ to make sure that spacecraft and astronauts don’t contaminate other worlds and don’t bring back anything that could contaminate our own. The job pays between $124,406 and $187,000 and is only one of two full-time posts in the world. The applications closed on August 14th and there’s been no update on who landed the gig.

• 5. The Pentagon has receipts – In December, the Pentagon released footage of Navy F/A-18F ‘Hornet’ pilots off the coast of California tracking a glowing white orb rotating while the pilots try to figure out what they’re looking at. Cmdr. David Fravor, one of the pilots who saw the UFO, said, “It was a real object, it exists and I saw it.” It resembled a white Tic Tac and was “something not from the earth.”

Meanwhile, scientists continue to be baffled by a bunch of mysterious signals that keep emanating from faraway galaxies.

Here are five stories that prove it’s only a matter of time before we meet our celestial neighbors.

1. Scientists keep finding Earth-like planets

Scientists have long presumed that if we’re going to find life on other planets, we’re going to find them in the “Goldilocks zone” — spots throughout the universe where conditions are just right for water to exist.

The intergalactic search for our neighbors grew more promising in 2017 with dozens more “super-Earth” discoveries.

And even though we don’t yet have the technology to reach these planets, 2017’s “super-Earths” have included:
• Wolf 1061c: Discovered in January, located 14 light years away

• LHS 1140b: Discovered in April, located 40 light years away

• Ross 128b: Discovered in November, located 11 light years away

• K2-18b: Discovered in December, located 111 light years away

In June, NASA’s Kepler telescope found 10 “Goldilocks-zone” planets and in October, the telescope found 20 more “hiding in plain sight.”

“Are we alone?” Kepler scientist Mario Perez asked at a news conference following NASA’s June discovery. “Maybe Kepler today has told us indirectly, although we need confirmation, that we are probably not alone.”

2. Reported UFO sightings are at their highest ever

In February, a doctoral student found that UFO sightings have hit an all-time high and that most of the sightings come from the US.

Sam Manafort, who’s studying Human Factors and Applied Cognition at George Mason University, crunched numbers from the National UFO Reporting Center. In his report, he found that since the first recorded UFO flew over Portugal in 1905, there have been at least 104,947 sightings.

But the number of yearly sightings has spiked dramatically from about 5,000 in 1980 to about 45,000 in 2010. In the US alone, there are 2,500 sightings per 10 million people — something Manafort attributes to the fact that most of the US has access to the internet.

Most of the sightings have come from the West and Northwest, an area that lines up with America’s “UFO highway” — a latitude line across the U.S. that a pair of sibling alien hunters believes is an entrance for extraterrestrial spacecraft.

The duo, whose book “37th Parallel” is being made into a movie, state that during years-long travels across the US, the most bizarre paranormal phenomenon took place along the 37th latitude line.

This line stretches from California through Nevada, Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, Illinois, Kentucky and across to Virginia.

3. Life may already be hanging out in our own solar system

Pluto might have been demoted from a planet to a dwarf planet back in 2006, but the icy world could be holding a lot more than hurt feelings.

In November, NASA scientists revealed that ice planets, like Pluto and Neptune, could harbor life deep beneath their icy surfaces, thanks to their moons.

Dubbed Trans-Neptunian objects, these celestial bodies might benefit from tidal heating. This means that these icy planets have moons with enough gravitational pull to create energy beneath the planet’s surface — which generates heat and allows a sub-surface ocean to exist. The findings were published in Icarus.

“These objects need to be considered as potential reservoirs of water and life,” Prabal Saxena of NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center said in a press release. “If our study is correct, we now may have more places in our solar system that possess some of the critical elements for extraterrestrial life.”

A separate study published in May suggested that Pluto, Saturn’s moon Enceladus and Jupiter’s moon Europa may have life due to a different process known as radiolysis. And in December, the American Geophysical Union reported that tectonic activity on Europacould be feeding life to Jupiter’s icy moon.

4. NASA hired someone to protect us from aliens

In August, NASA posted a job listing that quickly went viral.

The space agency was looking to hire a planetary protection officer — someone in charge of making sure that spacecraft and astronauts don’t contaminate other worlds and don’t bring back anything that could contaminate our own.

“NASA maintains policies for planetary protection applicable to all space flight missions that may intentionally or unintentionally carry Earth organisms and organic constituents to the planets or other solar system bodies and any mission employing spacecraft, which are intended to return to Earth and its biosphere with samples from extraterrestrial targets of exploration,” the job description stated.

Sorry America, We’re Not Going Back To The Moon

  • On Dec 11th, President Trump signed Space Policy Directive 1, proclaiming, “This time, we will not only plant our flag and leave our footprint, we will establish a foundation for an eventual mission to Mars and, perhaps someday, to many worlds beyond.”

  • Trump’s vision, which he laid out earlier this year, is simply to build a lunar space station orbiting the Moon. It has nothing to do with planting another flag on the Moon or a footprint on Mars.

  • When we chose to go to the Moon in the 1960’s, we devoted upwards of 5% of the federal budget to the endeavor. Today this figure is 0.4% of the budget. This is less than 1/10th of what we invested in NASA the last time we sent humans to the Moon.

  • If President Trump really intends to go to Mars, it would take a sustained investment totaling somewhere in the ballpark of $50-$150 billion, spread out over the course of ten years. The plan would involve landing a slew of equipment on the Martian surface, along with robots and rovers designed to self-assemble stations and habitats, and then a crew of human beings, who would stay for anywhere from 6 to 18 months before returning home.

  • Our ambitions to venture beyond low-Earth orbit are achievable, but only if we make it so. Unless there’s a plan to increase NASA’s funding to sufficient levels to send humans to worlds beyond our own, America is never going to get there.

  • [Editor’s Note] Alternatively, might President Trump be aware of a secret space program that is already visiting the Moon and Mars?

 

Last week, President Trump signed Space Policy Directive 1, designed to refocus NASA’s mission on human exploration and spaceflight. Proclaiming, “This time, we will not only plant our flag and leave our footprint, we will establish a foundation for an eventual mission to Mars and, perhaps someday, to many worlds beyond,” Trump made a promise that should sound familiar to American citizens, as many incoming presidents (including Obama and both Bushes) have made similar plans and proclamations. Like all plans, to bring this one to fruition will require a tremendous investment of resources: in people, in equipment and facilities, in research and development, and in terms of money as well. With no plans for adequate, additional funding to support these ambitions, these dreams will simply evaporate, as they have so many times before.

If you look at the percent of the federal budget currently being invested in NASA, you’ll find that you have to go all the way back to 1959, the first full year of NASA’s existence, to encounter a time where we invested less in the agency than we do today. When we chose to go to the Moon, it was accompanied by a tremendous increase in the resources we devoted to the endeavor: up to nearly 5% of the federal budget. Today, that figure sits at just 0.4% of the budget (0.11% of our GDP), or less than one-tenth of what we invested in NASA the last time we sent humans to the Moon.

NASA’s crewed spaceflight missions since the end of Apollo have focused on low-Earth orbit. But if the goal is to explore the Universe, and to take humanity deeper and farther into the cosmic sea than we’ve ever gone, a return to the Moon won’t accomplish that. The vision of the Trump administration, laid out earlier this year, involves a shocking proposal, to build a lunar space station orbiting the Moon. In no way, shape, or form does a lunar space station prepare us or aid us in going to either the Moon or Mars. Instead, it’s a project that merely serves to:
• provide a use for the Space Launch System (SLS) that’s already developed,
• provide a potential application of the Orion capsule system,
• and provide potential partnership opportunities with Russia on an orbiter and Europe/Japan on the habitation modules.

It’s a proposal that should make you furious. If you want to go to the Moon, you design a system to put humans on the Moon. If you want to go to a different world, you design a system to put human beings on that world. If you want to go to deep space, you figure out what you need to go to deep space — and you go. Instead, the plan will spend a great deal of money without yielding appreciable results. If you want to accomplish something great, you don’t look at the technology you’ve already developed and ask, “what can we do with it?” Instead, you must look at the goal you want to achieve and ask, “what will it take to accomplish this?” You also have to provide funding for it, and plan it on a realistically short timescale.

If the goal is to go to Mars, we’ve already done extensive research into how much it would cost and what type of technological development it would require. To do it safely and responsibly, it would take a sustained investment totaling somewhere in the ballpark of $50-$150 billion, spread out over the course of approximately 10 years. The plan would involve landing a slew of equipment on the Martian surface, along with robots and rovers designed to self-assemble stations and habitats, and then a crew of human beings, who would stay for anywhere from 6 to 18 months before returning home. The largest and heaviest things ever landed on the Martian surface are far lighter than what a crewed mission would require, and the only way you ensure the safety of the crew on such an endeavor is through practice.

UFO ‘Filmed Firing Laser at International Space Station’ in NASA Footage

• A YouTube blogger by the name of Streetcap1 found a strange anomaly in the International Space Station’s live feed on December 12th. There appeared to be an object near the ISS that was emitting a red beam at intervals. (see 5:58 minute video below)

• Streetcap1 said that NASA quickly tried to zoom the camera away from the object, as if to hide it from view.

• Many YouTube commenters agreed with his theory of alien intrusion. But one said it could be NASA’s Optical Payload for Lasercomm Science where packets of information are beamed from the space station using lasers.

 

NASA footage from the ISS live cam yesterday shows a strange object opposite the space station, that appears to emit a red beam at intervals, according to YouTuber Streetcap1.

He posted the clip to his YouTube channel which regularly puts forward alleged evidence of aliens and UFOs.

In his video entitled ‘UFO Fires Red Beam at the ISS?’, he said: “These lights appeared next to the space station.

“I checked the pre-archive footage and they don’t appear on any other footage as far as I can see
“Look at the red light coming from them and going to the space station… its pretty strange.”

The object itself that he thought might be a UFO appeared to resemble many other alleged ISS sightings that have been previously debunked as lens flares from the camera or reflections of the ISS itself.

The ISS also did not appear to sustain any damage in the clip.

Streetcap1 added: “Maybe it’s lens flare, I don’t know what’s causing it.

“In the previous shots hours ago there was no evidence of it at all.

“It could be lens flare, but I can’t see what was causing it.

“Its shape was what was most interesting to me.”

He then said NASA appeared to try to zoom the camera away from the object, as if to hide it from view.

Many of Streetcap1’s followers felt he was on to something.

Vikki Ledgard posted on YouTube: “I think that series of red lights looks like the lights of some huge vessel (mothership if you prefer).”

Arthur Tasev said: “This slipped through the net from NASA.”

David Waddington added: “It is a craft of some sort and I think the ISS was expecting it, camera on infra red would probably show a lot more.”

Juliana Jaynes said: “How long is this going to go on? It is more than obvious there are ships EVERYWHERE.”

James Paul added: “That appears to be the same craft that’s been seen manoeuvring around the ISS and boosters heading to orbit.

“I believe it’s an anti-gravity craft that belongs to the USAF along with other craft of the same type only smaller.”

China Joins the Search for Extraterrestrials

• China is building the world’s most powerful radio telescope, with the hopes that it could find evidence for life on other planets. The five-hundred-meter (five football fields wide) Aperture Spherical Radio Telescope (or FAST) will also be able to hear aircraft-radar waves. This is but one of a growing number of radio observatories in Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa that will cooperate on space research.

• What happens if the Chinese actually do hear something? International protocols require the disclosure of first contact, but this is a non-binding protocol. China could make such an alien signal a state secret.

• If we do get an alien signal, how should we reply? Stephen Hawking says that we should be wary of answering back at all. NASA has already been broadcasting signals out into space. The most recent was on September 5, 2017 which stated: “We offer friendship across the stars. You are not alone.”

China is well underway on building the world’s most powerful radio telescope, with the hopes that it could find evidence for life on other planets, noted a new article in the Atlantic, “What Happens If China Makes First Contact?”

The facility’s chief scientist has pointed out proudly that “We look for not only television signals but also atomic bomb signals. We’ll give full play to our imaginations when processing the signals… as we don’t know what an alien is like.”

China’s Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical radio Telescope (or FAST) will also be able to hear aircraft-radar waves, according to the Atlantic, or another “fading artifact of a civilization’s first blush with radio technology” in its ongoing search of “tens of thousands” of star systems.

The Atlantic describes the telescope, nestled in the Karst mountains, as “a radical expansion of the human search for the cosmic other.” The site’s senior science and technology editor ponders the massive human construct that would listen for aliens: “Five football fields wide, and deep enough to hold two bowls of rice for every human being on the planet, it was a genuine instance of the technological sublime.”

Of course, China isn’t the only country involved in the hunt for alien life. The article cites a growing number of radio observatories that will cooperate on research, including new space observatories in Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa. Russian billionaire Yuri Milner also invested $100 million in a new program in 2015. The article suggests that through this ongoing effort, “we may come to know a new metaphysics,” as it reaches its grand conclusion. “We may be humbled to one day find ourselves joined, across the distance of stars, to a more ancient web of minds, fellow travelers in the long journey of time.”

The Atlantic piece argues that researchers from SETI Institute, an organization entirely dedicated to searching for life elsewhere in the universe, have taken the search to the next level, becoming “philosophers of the future.”

They have tried to imagine what technologies an advanced civilization might use, and what imprints those technologies would make on the observable universe. They have figured out how to spot the chemical traces of artificial pollutants from afar. They know how to scan dense star fields for giant structures designed to shield planets from a supernova’s shock waves.

Although not everyone is so optimistic we will find anyone out there…

The Fermi Paradox

The SETI Institute also has a whole page dedicated to “the Fermi Paradox,” named after the nuclear physicist “best remembered for building a working atomic reactor in a squash court.” Given the age of the universe — ample time for leaving some sign of existence — Fermi had asked the question: where is everybody? Why are there no signs, anywhere, of alien lifeforms, given this vast universe, and a vast scale of time?

Counter-arguments have been proposed — for example, that “early extinction could be the cosmic default for life in the universe” because the earliest habitable conditions for any planet also tend to be unstable. Another theory says we’re just too early in the dawn of the universe to see other advanced civilizations. Others argue we’re too late — that advanced civilizations invariably extinguish themselves. Or maybe the relics that aliens left behind are the laws of physics embedded in our reality.

There’s even been some discussion of a “postbiological artificial intelligence that had taken control of its planet.” (The Atlantic argues that “Maybe the self-replicating machinery required to spread rapidly across 100 billion stars would be doomed by runaway coding errors.”) And this is where theories become indistinguishable from science fiction.

It might have transformed its entire planet into a supercomputer, and, according to a trio of Oxford researchers, it might find the current cosmos too warm for truly long-term, energy-efficient computing. It might cloak itself from observation, and power down into a dreamless sleep lasting hundreds of millions of years, until such time when the universe has expanded and cooled to a temperature that allows for many more epochs of computing.

Famed Chinese science fiction writer Liu Cixin shares a similar theory with The Atlantic: that the absence of signals just means extraterrestrial civilizations are really good at hiding. An older civilization would, after all these years, surely know by now the risks of making contact. Cixin believes that no alien civilization would ever send a beacon — unless it was a “death monument” announcing their civilization’s impending extinction.

Can we even be sure we’d recognize signals from a civilization that’s had billions of more years to evolve?

And yet, we search…

Beyond Contact

So what happens if these researchers actually do hear something? First, there’s the prosaic answer. “International protocols require the disclosure of first contact,” reports The Atlantic. But then there’s an important caveat: these protocols “are nonbinding.”

Maybe China would go public with the signal but withhold its star of origin, lest a fringe group send Earth’s first response. Maybe China would make the signal a state secret. Even then, one of its international partners could go rogue. Or maybe one of China’s own scientists would convert the signal into light pulses and send it out beyond the great firewall, to fly freely around the messy snarl of fiber-optic cables that spans our planet.

But beyond that, there’s already a surprising amount of serious consideration being given to the inevitable follow-up question: if aliens do contact us, how should we reply? Science fiction writer Cixin advises humankind not to detail our own history to the aliens, because “It’s very dark. It might make us appear more threatening.” The Atlantic editor counters that aliens may already have spotted the flash of our atomic weapons, adding “The decision about whether to reveal our history might not be ours to make.”

Astronauts Who Told the World We Are Being Visited & What They Said

• The UFO/extraterrestrial issue continues to gain the attention of the masses. Whistleblowers including generals, colonels, pilots, astronauts, and defence contractors say UFOs are real. It’s the greatest story in human history.

• Dr. Edgar Mitchell, the sixth man to “officially” walk on the moon, said, “Yes there have been crashed craft, and bodies recovered. . . . We are not alone in the universe, they have been coming here for a long time. . . . I happen to be privileged enough to be in on the fact that we have been visited on this planet, and the UFO phenomenon is real.”

• Gordon Cooper, a Mercury astronaut, said, “In my opinion I think they were worried that it would panic the public if they knew that someone had [UFO] vehicles that had this kind of performance . . . so they started telling lies about it. And then I think they had to cover another lie, you know, tell another lie to cover their first lie, now they don’t know how to get out of it.  Now it’s going to be so embarrassing to admit that all these administrations have told a lot of untruths . . . [and that] there are a number of extraterrestrial vehicles out there cruising around.”

• Story Musgrave, a NASA astronaut with six academic degrees, said, “… if you look at technological development, maybe we’ve been at it 100-200 years…but if you look at some planet and some creatures that… were able to build technology over millions of years, they’re doing star travel.”

• Viktor Mikhailovich Afanasyev, a Russian astronaut, related that during a space flight, he observed a UFO that “followed us during half of our orbit. We observed it on the light side, and when we entered the shadow side it disappeared completely. It was an engineering structure made from some type of metal, approximately 40 meters long with inner hulls. . . . Inside there were openings.  The object stayed very close to us.  We photographed it and our photo showed it to be 23 to 28 meters away.”   Said Afanasyev, “I think that we are not alone in the universe. I believe that someone, or something of extraterrestrial origin, has visited Earth.”

• Deke Slayton, another Mercury astronaut, said, “[the UFO] looked like a saucer sitting on edge, about a 45 degree angle. . . . It took off, climbed at about a 45 degree angle, and just accelerated and disappeared.”

• Al Worden, the Command Module pilot for the Apollo 15 lunar mission in 1971 said, “We are the aliens. We just think they’re somebody else, but we’re the ones who came from somewhere else. Because somebody else had to survive, and they got in a little space craft and they came here and they landed and they started civilization here, that’s what I believe.”

 

The UFO/extraterrestrial issue continues to gain the attention of the masses. This comes as a result of multiple factors, one being of them being the onslaught of credibility that’s been accredited to it, in the form of official previously classified government documents, some of which provide some startling details about UFO encounters with the military. And there are no shortage of statements; there are hundreds of them, if not thousands, in fact. Whistleblowers include generals, colonels, pilots, astronauts, and defence contractors, with the latest example being the recent launch of Tom Delonge’s To The Stars academy. His team recently held a livestream video letting the public know that UFOs are real, and they involve a physics we have yet to comprehend.

The director of the academy, Stephen Justice, recently retired from being the Program Director for Advanced Systems of Lockheed Martin, better known as the “Skunk Works.” Another member of the academy is Louis Elizondo. A career intelligence officer, his experience includes working in the U.S. Army, the Department of Defense, and the National Counterintelligence Executive, and he spent time as the Director of National Intelligence.

They have now joined the long list of individuals to emphasize to the world that yes, UFOs are real. As far as whether or not these craft are extraterrestrial, based on the evidence we have in the form of testimony, and the mere physics these craft are displaying, it seems safe to say that some of them are.
The evidence available for the existence of UFOs that can perform maneuvers no known human craft can exceeds the evidence for more accepted scientific phenomena, such as black holes, yet few people take UFOs seriously.

The UFO topic is a big one, and requires a lot of research to understand what’s really going on. Even if you do that, you’ll probably be left more confused than you were when you started.

One thing we can say for certain, even within the mainstream, is that UFOs are real. What they are, who is operating them, why they are here, and what they want, is an entirely different set of questions. There are tremendous implications here, from technology to other areas of science, human history, and more that will need to be explored.

Edgar Mitchell

Dr. Edgar Mitchell is a man of many experiences. For one, he was the sixth man to walk on the moon. He is a former Navy Captain, author, and lecturer. His academic background includes a Bachelor of Science from Carnegie Mellon University, a Postgraduate Science degree from the U.S. Naval School and Doctor of Science in Aeronautics and Astronautics from MIT. He has received honorary doctorates in engineering from New Mexico State University, the University of Akron, and ScD from Embry-Riddle University, as well as many other honours and awards.

He is the founder of the Institute of Noetic Sciences, and the co-founder of the Association of Space Explorers. Clearly, he’s a man who has been around and had contact with a number of people at NASA, the military, and within the academic field, which is why it’s so interesting to listen to what he had to say while he was still with us.

Brian O’Leary

Dr Brian O’Leary was a member of the sixth group of astronauts selected by NASA in August 1967. He, like many others on this list, has a lengthy resume. A colleague of the renowned Carl Sagan, he taught as a physics professor at Cornell, alongside Sagan, as well as at Princeton University for some time.

Gordan Cooper

Gordon Cooper is a former NASA astronaut, aeronautical engineer, and test pilot. He was one of the seven original astronauts in Project Mercury, the first manned space program of the United States: “In my opinion I think they were worried that it would panic the public if they knew that someone had vehicles that had this kind of performance . . . so they started telling lies about it. Story Musgrave is an American physician, known as the most formally educated astronaut with six academic degrees. He was the second astronaut to fly on six spaceflights.

Story has made multiple comments about the UFO phenomenon and possible extraterrestrial beings. He’s shown up to several international UFO conferences to discuss the topic. He, unlike the others, is very careful, and seems to constantly reiterate the fact that he has no evidence available, and cannot say anything for certain.

That being said, he was filmed at a conference making some very interesting comments.
