• Victor Viggiani, a retired school principal from Toronto, Canada, addressed a distinguished panel at the Alien Cosmic Expo in 2016 with classified documents of the North American Command Aerospace Defense (NORAD) concerning the observations of U.S. and Canadian fighter pilots engaging UFOs. (see 1:56 minute video below) He released the documents in spite of being threatened with being indicted for espionage and threat to national security.
• Among the eleven NORAD documents, there were 75 reported cases of pilot “intercepts”, where military craft came very close to alien craft. According to one document, in 2001, two CF-18 aircraft climbed to 35,000 feet and saw three flying saucers. Another document reveals how on November 14, 2008 a metal element, likely part of a UFO, was discovered.
• Notwithstanding, a Canadian Intelligence Committee report advised that Canada should go on a “parallel system” with the United States Air Force, to play down UFOs at all costs.
• [Editor’s Note] Some of this information was taken from the video.
Victor Viggiani from Toronto has published some classified documents of the North American command aerospace defense (NORAD), which was relevant a few decades ago.
Male 30 years ago was engaged in the study of UFOs. He could not disclose any information, as all its activities are classified. Only now, after retirement, Victor was able to uncover some peculiarities of their work.
There were published 11 files, which referred to the observations of fighter pilots in flying saucers. There were 75 cases where the U.S. military is very close to the alien ships.
Victor notes that every year in the sky there are more UFOs. So far, the humanoids do not be aggressive, however it can occur at any time. People do not provoke alien creatures, sure man.
According to one document, in 2001, two aircraft CF-18 took to the air. Then at a height of 35 thousand feet military saw three flying saucers. The second source States that on 14 November 2008 was discovered a metal element, which is most likely part of the UFO.
The authorities of the developed countries in recent times not so aggressive hide information about the humanoids. Some experts even hold conferences and invite “hunters” UFO. Apparently, everyone is sick to remain silent.

• On January 16th, a declassified DIA/Pentagon letter dated January 9, 2018 addressed primarily to the late Arizona Senator, John McCain, as the Chairman of the Armed Services Committee, (see letter with attached list of 38 DIA-commissioned program titles here) was released pursuant to a Freedom of Information request. The letter contained the titles of ‘a bewildering litany of otherworldly research papers commissioned from scientists around the globe’.
• Unless the Russians or Chinese have torn a wormhole through the fabric of space-time with a laser weapon recently, it isn’t they who have the Pentagon delving into invisibility cloaking, dark energy, stargates, multidimensional manipulation, meta-materials, laser weapons, quantum entanglement and “controlling external devices in the absence of limb-operated interfaces”. Who were the academics and scientists writing these advanced technology research papers for the U.S. government and why?
• Many of the academics who wrote the ‘Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program’ (AATIP) research papers were already part of the now-defunct “National Institute for Discovery Science”, which was well-known for its studies of UFO sightings, extraterrestrials and other “fringe” topics. Nevada businessman and UFO believer, Robert Bigelow founded the NIDSci. Bigelow’s friend, Nevada Senator Harry Reid, initiated the 2007 AATIP study, and it was Bigelow Aerospace which won the AATIP contract to manage its research.
• The largest single source of these Pentagon academic reports is EarthTech International of Texas, whose CEOs have close ties to Robert Bigelow and Bigelow Aerospace.
• One AATIP report on the topic of ‘Invisibility Cloaking’ was penned by the respected German scientist, Dr Ulf Leonhardt. Leonhardt is a noted global expert on quantum optics, which juxtaposes the fact nothing actually exists with photon manipulation. One day, this may potentially allow a military force to enter a country without being seen.
• Another AATIP author is former NASA propulsion engineer, Marc Millis. Millis claims he had an unexplained visionary experience where a ‘being’ produced a ball of energy which then entered his body. After attending a Silicon Valley venture capital event in 1999, Millis left NASA to pursue exotic technologies.
• While the Pentagon spent $22 million on its Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program, Nick Pope – formerly the “Fox Mulder” of Britain’s own governmental UFO research department during the 1990’s, notes that, “It still doesn’t give us a definitive answer to whether, as claimed, ‘foreign advanced aerospace weapon threats’ is coded language for UFOs.”
• Although it’s unknown if the AATIP paper convinced Senator McCain of a viable alien threat, it’s certain that former US President Ronald Reagan believed in such a possibility. Reagan’s numerous mentions of aliens in speeches marked him as a blatant “UFO-nut” hiding in plain sight. During the 1985 Geneva Summit, Reagan and Soviet premier Mikhail Gorbachev had a private chat. Years later, Gorbachev revealed that Reagan had simply asked him to set aside their differences in case the world was invaded by aliens. Reagan made public his concerns in a 1987 U.N. speech, saying, “I occasionally think how quickly our differences would vanish if we were facing an alien threat from outside this world. Yet, I ask you, is not an alien force already among us? What could be more alien to the universal aspirations of our peoples than war and the threat of war?”
• [Editor’s Note] This is a typically snarky British Deep State response to the revelation that the Pentagon brass and top politicians take the type of exotic propulsion and other technologies exhibited by UFOs very seriously. While describing the origins and authors of the Pentagon’s AATIP research from 2007 to 2012, the writer employs ridicule and derision to portray the AATIP authors as a bit unhinged, debunking the motive of commissioning such research programs, and condemning the reports as a waste of time and money. Even the article’s title makes a joke out of an alien invasion. And therefore, it is a waste of time for anyone to take the Pentagon’s exotic propulsion and technology programs seriously. In other words, don’t believe the evidence you see before you, believe us (the Deep State) when we tell you that none of it matters. Life will continue as it is with fossil fuel engine propulsion, and any new technologies will only come to the public in small drips … and you’ll like it.
“THERE are a number of people here who know everything on that screen was absolutely true,” said the President. A wave of nervous laugher rippled through the White House’s private cinema room. Ronald Reagan, however, never broke a smile, his solemnity immediately silencing the intimate audience of esteemed guests – Neil Armstrong, Steven Spielberg, high-ranking military personnel and the upper echelons of Nasa among them. It was 1982 and the group had just been treated to a special pre-release screening of ET: The Extra-Terrestrial.
Despite its rather outré nature, this tale is no urban myth – although some details have been embellished over the years. One retelling even has Reagan weeping on Spielberg’s shoulder as ET “went home”. Having since confirmed the event indeed took place, the legendary director has also admitted he remains unsure if Reagan was being honest with his guests – or simply pulling off deadpan surrealism better than Rikki Fulton or Jacob Rees-Mogg.
One thing is incontrovertibly true – if Ronald Reagan had intimate knowledge of extra-terrestrial visitations to Earth, then he certainly knew they weren’t friendly, doe-eyed botanists. Without even taking his bizarre satellite-laser “Star Wars” missile defence system into consideration, Reagan’s numerous mentions of aliens in speeches marked him as a blatant UFO-nut hiding in plain sight. One turning a blind eye to the Pentagon burning through tens of millions of taxpayer dollars investigating “foreign advanced aerospace weapons”.
Yet, if such research – carried out under different guises by the US military since Project Blue Book in the 1950s – was simply to ascertain the threat from traditional Russian or Chinese bogeymen, then it seems they were a wee bit more technologically advanced than previously thought.
This week, the Pandora’s Box of top secret Pentagon documents was declassified under a Freedom of Information request – a single five-page letter containing the titles of a bewildering litany of otherworldly research papers commissioned from scientists around the globe.
The titles of these academic studies certainly don’t concur with commonly accepted Russian technical malevolence like vote rigging and web trolling. Certainly, research into invisibility cloaking, dark energy, stargates, multidimensional manipulation, meta-materials, laser weapons, quantum entanglement and “controlling external devices in the absence of limb-operated interfaces” seems more like a Philip K Dick fever dream.
If nothing else, the document – addressed primarily to the office of late Senator and former pilot John McCain, who also had a considerable interest in colourful accounts of unusual aviation – certainly proves the Pentagon had been trying to get their heads around the true nature of a somewhat peculiar security threat. And unless the Russians or Chinese have torn a wormhole through the fabric of spacetime with a laser weapon recently, it wasn’t them.
Uni lateral thinking
THE exotic nature of some of the research papers commissioned by the US military’s Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP) would raise a quizzical eyebrow on even Vladmir Putin’s Botox-irrigated deathmask.
It’s certainly reaffirmed the suspicions of the global Ufology community, who only learned of the research papers’ existence last week after the AATIP letter ended up on the desk of Nick Pope, ex-head of the UK Government’s official UFO research project. Colloquially known as Britian’s “Fox Mulder”, the affable Nick immediately teased true believers on Twitter with some ambiguous speculation, saying: “It still doesn’t give us a definitive answer to whether, as claimed, ‘foreign advanced aerospace weapon threats’ is coded language for UFOs.”

• The excitement of the scientific enterprise is all about expanding our current knowledge of the universe a little at a time. Learning all at once of the knowledge of an alien civilization with billions of years of scientific and technological exploration would be a shock to the system, and would be difficult to reconcile. As science fiction writer Arthur C. Clarke stated: “Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.” Put another way, members of such a civilization would appear to us as a pretty good approximation to God.
• A device of advanced alien technology to us, would be like a smart phone to an early human caveman. This could be similar to our mainstream scientist’s reaction to the recent visitor to our solar system, the elongated rocky object known as ‘Oumuamua’. Oumuamua showed six peculiar properties but was nevertheless interpreted as a mere rock. One may wonder whether we are able to recognize technologies that were not developed by us.
• Scientists have considered whether life itself was seeded on Earth by an alien civilization in a process called “directed panspermia.” We can begin to wrap our heads around seeds of life brought to the Earth in the form of microbes, or perhaps a 3-D printer that produced these seeds out of the raw materials on Earth. Our imagination of what aliens might do may improve once we too are able to produce synthetic life in the laboratory.
• If life was seeded artificially on Earth, one may wonder whether the seeders are checking on the outcome. Are they disappointed and have given up on us? The experiment may have failed, or we are simply irresponsible and too slow to mature. Perhaps if we knew that someone is looking over our shoulders, we would do better.
• Our civilization is highly vulnerable to annihilation by self-inflicted wounds, such as nuclear wars or climate change, as well as external threats such as asteroid impacts or evolution of the sun. It would be not be prudent to keep all our eggs in one basket. We should venture into space and seed objects beyond the Earth with life as we know it, thus reducing the risk of complete destruction and securing the longevity of things we care about.
Despite the impression one gets from textbooks, our current knowledge of the universe represents a small island in a vast ocean of ignorance. The scientific enterprise is all about expanding the landmass of this island. And it is fun to engage in the activity of gaining knowledge; knowing everything in advance would have been much more boring. Still, it would be shocking to learn all at once of the discoveries of an alien civilization that’s been doing scientific and technological exploration for billions of years, in contrast to our mere few centuries. The eminent science fiction writer Arthur C. Clarke codified this idea in the third of his three laws : “Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.” Put another way, members of such a civilization would appear to us as a pretty good approximation to God.
Meeting a piece of advanced technological equipment developed by an extraterrestrial intelligence might resemble an imaginary encounter of ancient cave people with a modern cell phone. At first, they would interpret it as a shiny rock, not recognizing it as a communication device. The same thing might have happened in reaction to the first detection of an interstellar visitor to the solar system, ‘Oumuamua, which showed six peculiar properties but was nevertheless interpreted as a rock by mainstream astronomers.
Because it would likely be relatively small, most advanced equipment could only be recognized in the darkness of space when it comes close enough to our nearest lamppost, the sun. We can search for technological “keys” under this lamppost, but most of them will stay unnoticed if they pass far away. More fundamentally, one may wonder whether we are able to recognize technologies that were not already developed by us. After all, these technologies might feature subtle purposes—like the cell phone communication signals that a cave person would miss.
Is there something we might be missing already here and now?

• If there is contact between Earthlings and aliens, what would that encounter look like? Sociologists Michael Schetsche and Andreas Anton have tried to answer these questions in their book “The Alien Society. Introduction to Exosociology”.
• The first to speak of exosociology (and dub the term) was the Soviet astronomer Samuil Aronovich Kaplan in the late 1960’s. Exosociology is the study of possible paths that the future interaction between our Earth civilization and an extraterrestrial civilization could take, thus extending sociology beyond humanity giving it a universal scale.
• According to the exosociologists, there are three possible scenarios for a meeting between Earth humanity and an extraterrestrial civilization: First is ‘Remote Contact’ where the Earth receives a distant signal from an extraterrestrial civilization. Second is ‘Indirect Contact’ where we discover some sort of ancient probe or artefact that demonstrates the presence of an extraterrestrial entity that would have visited the solar system long ago. Third is by ‘Direct Contact’ where we meet and communicate directly with extraterrestrials who arrive on Earth in their spacecraft.
• In human history on Earth, whenever a technologically superior civilization encountered an inferior civilization, the less developed group were repressed, resulting in negative economic, political, and religious consequences, and ultimately the destruction of the weaker civilization. Therefore, Schetsche believes that contacting an extraterrestrial civilization technologically superior to ours could have “serious consequences” for humanity.
• On the other hand, the discovery of artefacts of advanced extraterrestrial technology would likely set in motion a race and even wars between states and corporations seeking to seize the technology. So either way, human interaction with a technologically advanced extraterrestrial race would result in “… rather negative consequences”, Schetsche concluded.
• [Editor’s Note] It is a depressingly narrow and naive view of potential human interaction with extraterrestrials to base such an encounter (as if it is yet to occur) on our own human track record of war and conquest on this planet. In truth, advanced extraterrestrial beings have been here for hundreds of millions of years or more, and are still here. Some are positive beings who primarily keep an eye on us hoping that we will make the right spiritual choices to advance in consciousness to a level where they may interact with us. Others are negative beings who have ignored the universal edict of non-interference with developing civilizations, and have already manipulated our Earth society toward the perpetual violence and economic subjugation that we experience today. Ironically, the discovery of advanced alien technology by the end of WWII resulted in the governing powers’ utilizing this technology in a competition for superior secret space programs, while keeping it all hidden from a populace that is conditioned to take pride in its own ignorance. Contrary to these self-proclaimed exosociologists’ assumption that an advanced negative civilization would want to lay waste to our Earth civilization, in truth, we humans are more valuable to them as oblivious, unenlightened, mind-controlled resources, stuck in a developmental cul-de-sac.
Is there life out there? Many wonder about this, but there are different opinions as to the likelihood of such a thing. But there’s another important question besides whether there is life out there. If there is contact between Earthlings and aliens, what would that encounter look like?
Sociologists Michael Schetsche and Andreas Anton have tried to answer these questions in their book “The Alien Society. Introduction to exosociology”.
Sputnik has spoken to Michael Schetsche, one of the authors of the study.
Exosociology, the doctrine that Schetsche and Anton based their book on, studies the possible paths that the future interaction between the terrestrial civilisation and another, also intelligent, but extraterrestrial, could take. As Schetsche pointed out, the first one to speak of exosociology was the Soviet astronomer Samuil Aronovich Kaplan in the late 1960s. In the book “Extraterrestrial Civilisations. Problems of Interstellar Communication” he and his colleagues analysed all of these issues and were the first to call this program exosociology. The science studies aliens from the terrestrial point of view thus extending sociology beyond humanity giving it a universal scale.
Inhabited Planets and Life in Harsh Conditions — the Causes of Eexosociology
According to Schetsche, the issue of extraterrestrial civilisations has become more important in recent decades for two reasons. On the one hand, humankind has come to know much more about habitable planets.
About 1% of t”We’ve known for about 20 years that the planets in the Universe are scattered everywhere. According to current estimates, we have 200-300 billion planets in our galaxy”, the scientist said. These planets orbit a star in an area where life is possible — known as a “habitable zone”. As a result, one to three billion planets could be inhabited.
On the other hand, research has shown that life is an “extremely robust” phenomenon. “Throughout the world, where appropriate conditions exist, different forms of life develop”. That’s why life may well exist in the Universe, despite the sometimes very severe conditions. “Nowadays, our scientific conceptions of the Universe say that it’s very probable that there are other intelligences besides the human, and that means that we could find them someday”, Schetsche said.
Signals, artefacts and direct contact
The sociologists used certain futurology methods and created a series of scenarios, that is, they determined some basic parameters and different scenarios of a meeting between humans and aliens. According to the scientists, there are three possible scenarios.
1. Remote contact. In this scenario, the Earth would receive a distant signal from an extraterrestrial civilisation. It is currently the only research scenario of the American SETI, which is searching for extraterrestrial intelligence. Schetsche considers that this research has defects because contact can also be made in other ways.
2. Indirect contact through an artefact. In this scenario, we would contact aliens in the Earth’s vicinity when discovering some ancient probe or suspicious space debris. It would be artefacts that demonstrate the presence of an extraterrestrial entity that would have visited the solar system long ago.
3. Direct contact. In this scenario, we would come into contact with extraterrestrials directly, with a flying object, containing aliens. It’s not been ruled out, however, that such a spacecraft could be directed by artificial intelligence or by some type of machine. What’s more important here is that through this there could be communication with an alien civilisation.

• The Giza complex, located on the outskirts of Cairo, Egypt, includes three pyramids and the Great Sphinx. Listed as one of the Seven Wonders of the World, the huge structures date back to roughly 2,570 BC, according to the history books. The boys at the YouTube channel thirdphaseofmoon have suggested that the location coordinates of the pyramids is itself proof of extraterrestrial involvement. (see 10:40 minute explanation in video below)
• The speed of light is 299,792,458m/s. The geographic co-ordinates for the great pyramid are 29.979.2458 degrees north. This reference to the speed of light, the theory goes, is a reference to time travel. Believers claim aliens returned to Earth from the future to build the monuments.
• “There can be no doubt it is a mathematically intelligent design,” says “Dr J”. He also suggested that extraterrestrials helped to build the pyramids. A theory emerged last year that the structures were built 5,500 years earlier than history books say, or around 8,000 BC.
The ancient archaeological site – located on the outskirts of Cairo, Egypt – includes three pyramids and the Great Sphinx.
The Khufu, Khafre and Menkaure can all be found in the Western Desert, approximately 9km (5.5 miles) from the Nile river.
Listed as one of the Seven Wonders of the World, the huge structures date back to roughly 2,570BC, according to the history books.
But the region is shrouded in conspiracy, with claims the structures have links to alien life.
And YouTube channel thirdphaseofmoon has suggested the location of the pyramids is proof of extraterrestrial involvement.
Dr. J told the channel: “Researchers believe extraterrestrials left vital clues in the design of the pyramid which prove it could not have been our ancestors that built them.
“And the experts believe the truth lies behind the co-ordinates.
“The speed of light is 299,792,458m/s.
“And the geographic co-ordinates for the great pyramid are 29.979.2458 degrees north.
“Humans could not measure the speed of light accurately until 1950, thousands of years after the pyramids were built.”

• There are innumerable astronomers who gaze into telescopes all night to look at the sky. Why aren’t they picking up the UFO’s that others report seeing?
• Astrophysicists such as Great Britain’s Martin Rees and Paul Davies at Arizona State University suggest that it is because these advanced beings who traverse our skies are so highly evolved that they aren’t subject to our laws of physics and we simply cannot recognize them. Davies believes that advanced alien technology may exist that is “beyond matter” with no fixed size or shape.
• Astrophysicist Jason Wright at Penn State University thinks it is a simpler explanation. He believes that there are no UFOs out there to observe. Says Wright, “[A]stronomers study big swaths of the sky all the time, and with much more sophisticated equipment than the cameras that have captured those iconic images of extraterrestrial UFOs. I tell them we don’t see any UFOs.”
• Wright says that when astronomers do find an anomaly, it is quickly identified. NASA doesn’t send its “goons” to quiet the astronomers, or photoshop the UFO anomaly to destroy evidence. Wright is certain that UFOs simply do not exist.
• [Editor’s Note] This is classic obfuscation by the mainstream science community in its ongoing effort to debunk UFOs and the alien presence. Professor Wright claims NASA hasn’t photo-shopped anomalies? We know from Donna Hare, Karl Wolfe and others that, oh yes, NASA does. He ridicules ufologists who are closer to the truth than he will ever be by joking about government “goons” who enforce the Deep State moratorium on the truth. Yes, Professor Wright, the government does ridicule and suppress the truth. And on the other end of this debunking apparatus are so-called “astrophysicists” such as Martin Rees and Paul Davies who come up with theories that are so fantastically outlandish that it puts the argument back in the realm of the ridiculous. This is just another way to ridicule people honestly seeking the disclosure of the truth. If they didn’t duly debunk aliens and UFOs, they would lose their jobs at these Deep State controlled institutions. So they lie. The evidence of UFOs and the alien presence is too overwhelming to believe that, somehow, they are not aware of UFOs. They lie. And one day, when we all learn the truth, they will be exposed for the liars and Deep State stooges that they are, and how they conspired to keep humanity in the dark for so many decades.
Why is that of the tens of thousands of reports of UFO’s since the iconic radio broadcast of Orson Welle’s “War of the World’s” terrified the nation in 1938, have none been reported by astronomers manning the observatories across our pale blue dot?
Is it because some leading astrophysicists such as Great Britain’s Martin Rees and Paul Davies at Arizona State University, who believe that advanced alien civilizations may be a billion or more years older than the human species have technology that would be unrecognizable by our primitive means?
Davies believes that advanced alien technology may exist that is “beyond matter.” That might have no fixed size or shape; have no well-defined boundaries. Is dynamical on all scales of space and time. Or, conversely, does not appear to do anything at all that we can discern. Does not consist of discrete, separate things; but rather it is a system, or a subtle higher-level correlation of things. Are matter and information, Davies asks, all there is? Five hundred years ago, Davies observes, “the very concept of a device manipulating information, or software, would have been incomprehensible. Might there be a still higher level, as yet outside all human experience, that organizes electrons?
If so, this “third level” would never be manifest through observations made at the informational level, still less at the matter level.
Closer to the reality of 2019, astrophysicist Jason Wright at Penn State University has an solid, verifiable answer: astronomers haven’t observed any unidentified objects. It’s that simple he says. In a 2013 post, Astronomers and UFOs in his AstroWright blog, he wrote that “astronomers study big swaths of the sky all the time, and with much more sophisticated
equipment than the cameras that have captured those iconic images of extraterrestrial UFOs. I tell them we don’t see any UFOs.”

• Near El Popo, a volcano located near Mexico City, there are webcams that continually monitor the volcanic activity there. The webcam recently picked up a UFO sitting at the edge of the volcano, and then leaving. (see 57-second video below)
• Alien hunter Scott C Waring blogged on UFO Sightings Daily: “This particular volcano is famous for its UFO sightings over the last five years. I personally have recorded about ten videos of flying objects near the mouth of the volcano in the past. I believe the UFO is hovering over the left side of the volcano it pick up or drop off passengers or cargo for the alien base that sits 4-6km below the volcano. Even the locals have reported seeing UFOs and even alien creatures on the volcano, so this video is not a surprise, but is excellent evidence that an alien base does exit there.”
One eagle-eyed conspiracy theorist spotted a strange bright light hovering near the mouth of the 5,426 metre tall volcano, colloquially named El Popo. The sighting was made on webcams which constantly monitor the volcano. In the video of the sighting, a bright light can be seen darting around the source of the volcano, moving erratically in a circular motion.
YouTube user Kate Martin2016 quickly uploaded film to the video-sharing website, asking if what she saw was a genuine UFO or if there was a simpler explanation such as a bug.
She wrote alongside the video: “Could be anything from a UFO to a bug.
“Interesting how it is still, then zooms off in the same direction it came from though! I don’t know, I have seen bugs look that way on film, but it seems pretty big.”
However, other conspiracy theorists are convinced it is a UFO and more so, is evidence that aliens are using the volcano as a base.

• Since first detecting a weak signal from our Sun’s closest neighbor, Proxima Centauri (only 4.24 light-years away) in 2013, a group of astronomers from Germany, France and Chile who call themselves the “Pale Red Dot Team’ have been looking for – and have found – an Earth-mass planet in the habitable zone of that star. Proxima was monitored closely for subtle variations on the European Southern Observatory’s HARPS instrument over a series of nights from January 19 to March 31, 2016. By a process called radial velocity that looks for Doppler shifts in a star’s light due to the tug of a planet, the researchers could estimate the mass and orbital frequency to zero in on a planet, which they named Proxima Centauri b (PCb). Their findings were published in the science journal Nature last summer.
• Turns out that PCb is quite Earth-like. It slightly bigger and is roughly the mass of our planet and is located in just the right “Goldilocks zone” in relation to its star where, if it has an atmosphere, liquid water could exist on the surface. The exoplanet’s distance from its star is only one-fifth the distance from Mercury to the Sun. But Proxima Centauri is only a little larger than Jupiter, considered the runt of the litter in the Alpha Centauri system.
• The reason that the five billion year-old PCb planet revolves so quickly around its star is because it is tidally locked to it. The same side of the planet faces Proxima Centauri at all times, much like the same side of the Moon faces Earth at all times. But if PCb still has an atmosphere, it could reach temperatures up to 86° F (30° C) on its sunlit side, and -22° F (-30° C) on its darker side, bringing it into quite Earth-like temperature ranges. But if, for some reason, PCb has lost its atmosphere, the lack of atmosphere could have evaporated any water on the planet long ago, leaving a cold, barren planet of -40° F (-40° C).
• The key to preserving an atmosphere would be the existence of a magnetic field. Researchers have gone back and forth whether a tidally locked planet could have a core that stirs with its rotation, thus generating a magnetic field. The magnetic field shields the planet from the worst excesses of its star, which then settles into a state of relative dormancy. The Pale Red Dot astronomers believe that as a planet migrates closer to its sun while creating a magnetic field, this magnetic field could remain active even after a planet gets so close to become tidally locked to its sun.
• Astronomers need to observe the planet in greater detail in order to further characterize it. Planets are so small, the signals are so weak, it almost needs its own dedicated telescope. Currently, no instrument in space or on the ground is sensitive enough to pick up reflected light from older and smaller planets. But the James Webb Space Telescope currently under construction might be a mega-telescope that can actually detect biosignatures, or even molecules, in the atmospheres of other planets. Other proposed methods of getting deeper into a planet’s biosignature include ‘stellar suppression’ which blocks the surrounding light of the star, and infrared.
• “To find (a habitable planet) around the nearest, best-studied star … maybe we’re just really lucky, or maybe there really are just billions of M-dwarf planets out there waiting for us to find them,” says Elisabeth Newton, a Kavli post-doctoral fellow at MIT who studies red dwarf, or M-dwarf, systems. Nearly every star is suspected to have a planet. Some of those could be habitable. If it ends up that PCb is barren, then perhaps we’ll have better luck looking at the next star over, Barnard’s Star.
The hunt for exoplanets has, in some ways, been about the hunt for an Earth-like planet – something warm where water could exist. Headlines tout each discovery as “the most Earth-like planet yet.” Many of those planets are far away.
But a new discovery published August 24 in Nature hits closer to home, with an Earth-mass planet in the habitable zone of its star. What’s more, that star is Proxima Centauri, only 4.24 light-years away. That means that there is no solar system that will be closer to Earth in our lifetimes.
And so far, the exoplanet, named Proxima Centauri b, is shaping up to be quite Earth-like, roughly the mass of our planet and in just the right place where, if it has an atmosphere, liquid water could exist on the surface.
This is as in our backyard as it gets.
“I think it actually marks a transition,” Jeffrey Coughlin, a SETI Institute scientist not involved in the study who assembles the Kepler catalog, says. “Twenty years ago, we were finding the first exoplanets and it was totally exciting,” he says. Then there was the Kepler telescope, which found thousands of planets, including some in the habitable zone, and some within a few dozen light-years of us.
And now there’s a planet of 1.3 Earth masses right next door, zipping around its star in 11.2 days. Its distance of 4,349,598 miles (7 million kilometers) from its star may seem tiny, at just one-fifth the distance between Mercury and the Sun, but Proxima Centauri is the runt of the litter in the Alpha Centauri system. At a diameter of 124,274 miles (200,000km), it’s only 1.43 times the diameter of Jupiter.
So how was there a planet hiding around the closest star to us, just waiting to be discovered? The simple answer: Finding a planet is really hard. Kepler found thousands of planets by staring at 145,000 stars in a minute region of the sky at the tail end of Cygnus, waiting for the 1 percent chance a planet would directly pass in front of a star and cause a dip in its light, in a method known as transiting.
But the problem with the Proxima Centauri planet is that it doesn’t transit — at least not from our vantage point. In order to witness a transit, the orbital plane of the planets must be at or near our line of vision, but not all solar systems have the same orientation. A star might have all of its planets aligned at a 90-degree angle from us, with the planets orbiting in such a way that they never pass in front of their star for our telescopes to see. While some planets have been found by direct imaging (that is, appearing in a photo along with its star) it’s not possible of yet with Proxima, a 5 billion year old planet. Unless the planets are very young and very large, no instruments are currently capable of directly imaging these planets.
How to find a planet (that doesn’t want to be found)
That’s why the Pale Red Dot project, tasked with finding a planet around our nearest neighbor, had to turn to indirect — but reliable — methods of detection. The researchers chose radial velocity, a process that looks for shifts in a star’s light due to the tug of a planet, sometimes called the Doppler shift method. Subtle movements of gravity cause the light of a star to move toward the blue end of the light spectrum, which means it’s moving toward us, or the red end of the spectrum, which means it’s moving away. Based on those changes, researchers can give a mass estimate, and the frequency gives an idea of the orbit.
The planet itself was found over a series of nights from January 19 to March 31, 2016, during which Proxima was monitored closely for subtle variations on the European Southern Observatory’s HARPS instrument.

• Sam Chortek and Jimmy Chappie visited Beaver, Utah to capture some beautiful video the rolling hills that surround the area on their drone-mounted video camera. When they got home and watched the footage, they discovered something inexplicable. A white object suddenly emerges from the distant hills and flies past the recording drone, traveling at a speed so fast the object’s form became warped – making it hard to discern what it is.
• Originally posted by Brian Hanley, SecureTeam10’s host Tyler Glockner shared the video on his YouTube channel, slowing the footage to make a chilling discovery. “This has become one of the best pieces of UFO footage in recent memory,” Glockner said. “Many have said that it looks like a saucer.” “Some have estimated it as going at 400-500mph.” (see 4:14 minute video below)
• YouTube commenters explainations for the object range from CGI, to shapeshifting demons, to a true UFO – either extraterrestrial or one of Earth origin within the secret space program. The Utah location is only a couple of hundred miles away from Area 51, a highly classified remote range only accessible by The United States Air Force.

• For decades, some very credible sources have been saying that our Moon is not what we think it is, and that there’s also some type of extraterrestrial presence on the Moon.
• Shortly before his death in 2007 at age 89, USAF Colonel Ross Dedrickson who was responsible for maintaining the inventory of the nuclear weapon stockpile for the United States during the 1960’s, revealed that in 1959 the US tried to detonate atomic weapons on the Moon for scientific purposes. This “Project A119” was halted by extraterrestrials who would not allow us to detonate any nuclear weapons in space.
• Dr. Horace Crater, a physicist from the University of Tennessee Space Institute, recently published a paper in the Journal of Space Exploration that identified certain features that appear inside the crater Paracelsus Con the far side of the Moon. The research paper suggests that these features might be artificial in origin, meaning someone other than a human being built them and put them there.
• The Deputy Manager for the Clementine Mission to the Moon in 1995 said it was really a photo reconnaissance mission to check out structures on the far side of the Moon that weren’t put there by humans.
• Ingo Swann and other remote viewers under the government’s Stargate Program reported viewing strange structures and humanoid creatures on the Moon.
• A 2014 paper by Sean C. Solomon, the director of the Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory of Columbia University, relates how after decades of data, they still have no idea about the moons inner core and what it’s comprised of. In his book, Our Occulted History, the late great Jim Marrs had a thing or two to say about Mars. “Studies of moon rocks indicate that the moon’s interior differs from the Earth’s mantle in ways suggesting a very small core or none at all. A 1962 study found the interior of the moon to be less dense that the exterior.”
• Marrs sheds more light on the hollow Moon in Our Occulted History: “The most startling evidence that the moon could be hollow came on November 20, 1969, when the Apollo 12 crew, after returning to their command ship, sent the lunar module ascent stage crashing back onto the moon… The LM struck the surface about forty miles from the Apollo 12 landing site, where super sensitive seismic equipment recorded… [that] the moon reverberated like a bell for more than an hour. Frank Press of MIT stated, “[I]t is quite an extraordinary event. That this rather small impact… produced a signal which lasted 30 minutes is quite beyond the range of our experience.”
• According to Isaac Asimov, an American writer and professor of biochemistry at Boston University, “[The Moon] is too big to have been captured by the Earth. The chances of such a capture having been effected and the Moon then having taken up nearly circular orbit around our Earth are too small to make such an eventuality credible…. [T]he Moon, by rights, ought not to be there.” NASA scientist Robin Brett said,“It’s easier to explain the non-existence for the Moon, than it’s existence.” And Harvard Astrophysicist Irwin Shapiro said, “The best explanation for the Moon is observational error – the Moon doesn’t exist.”
• “[I]t is extremely unlikely that any object would just stumble into the right combination of factors required to stay in orbit. ‘Something’ had to put the moon at its altitude, on its course and at its speed. The question is: what was that ‘something?” – Jim Marrs
• There is actually a considerable amount of evidence that points towards something suspicious happening on the Moon. In 1970, members of the Soviet Academy of Sciences published an article titled, “Is the Moon the Creation of Alien Intelligence?” As Marrs points out, “This circular orbit is especially odd, considering that the moon’s center of mass lies more than a mile closer to the Earth than its geometric center. This fact alone should produce an unstable, wobbly orbit, much as a ball with its mass off-center will not roll in a straight line.”
• In the late 1960’s, William Kenneth Harmann of the Planetary Science Institute proposed that the Moon resulted from a collision between Earth and another body at least the size of Mars. This became known as the ‘Big Whack’ theory, and it correlated to the story told in ancient Sumerian tablets. The Sumarians wrote about a large watery world called Tiamat that was in orbit between Mars and Jupiter 4 billion years ago. The rogue planet, Nibiru, caused Tiamat to split in half. The larger half became the Earth, the smaller became the Moon.
• “There is no astronomical reason why the Moon and the sun should fit so well. It is the sheerest of coincidences, and only the Earth among all the planets is blessed in this fashion.” – Isaac Asimov
Controversy has surrounded the Moon for a very long time, we have leaks, research, and information from some very credible sources who have, over a span of decades, been relaying to the public that our Moon is not what we think it is, and that there’s also some type of extraterrestrial presence on the Moon.
One example would be the testimony of Colonel Ross Dedrickson, who was responsible for maintaining the inventory of the nuclear weapon stockpile for the United States, he had a long stint with the US Atomic Energy Commission.
Shortly before his passing, Dedrickson told the world that the US tried to detonate atomic weapons on the Moon for scientific purposes, measurements, and whatnot and that this project was halted by extraterrestrials, who would not allow us to detonate any nuclear weapons in space. These were some interesting comments because he is one of the hundreds of high ranking military people who have alluded to such things, and we also have a declassified report by the Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center from June 1959 that shows how seriously they were considering the plan, the report is called Project A119.
We know for a fact that the US wanted to investigate the capability of weapons in space, and if they did, we also know that we would never be told, similar to the testing that goes on here on planet Earth.
Then, we have remote viewers from the STARGATE program who have ‘seen’ strange structures and humanoid creatures on the Moon, like Ingo Swann (from his book, titled Penetration), for example. He wasn’t the only one from the program who did, I have personally had conversations with Dr. Paul Smith, a retired army veteran who spent a decade in that program, he also relayed to me that something strange is happening on the Moon. Many from within that program have been very outspoken about an extraterrestrial presence.
Multiple whistleblowers have also spoken of strange structures on the Moon, and it’s become so obvious that some academicians are trying to do what they can to bring attention to it. For example, a recently published paper in the Journal of Space Exploration about certain features on the far side of the Moon that appear in the crater Paracelsus C. Titled “Image Analysis of Unusual Structures on the Far Side of the Moon in the Crater Paracelsus C,” argues that these features might be artificial in origin, meaning someone other than a human being built them and put them there.
It’s not just the Moon, a physicist from the University of Tennessee Space Institute, Dr. Horace Crater, recently published a paper in The Journal of Space Exploration that, along with the NASA Viking images, hints “strongly at artificial surface interventions.”
The list is long, and the idea that somebody else is on the moon is nothing new, even the Deputy Manager for the Clementine Mission to the moon in 1995 said it was really a photo reconnaissance mission to check out structures on the far side of the Moon that wasn’t put there by humans.
But this article is not about what’s on the moon, it’s about what exactly the Moon is.
It’s also noteworthy to mention that the United States has been criticized by Russia for concealing artifacts they collected from the Moon.

• George Dyson – technologist, historian, and son of theoretical physicist Freeman Dyson – has built a career out of studying the history of science and technology. Dyson, and believes current trends point to a future in which the Artificial Intelligence (AI) surely take over. Dyson told Edge.org that for some reason, top computer scientists with the ability to shape our futures want us to become the subservient fodder of a super-intelligent AI hive mind built right into the very fabric of the massive ‘technosphere’ that we’ve constructed around the earth.
• According to Dyson, we’ve already lost control of our most advanced technology and are following the orders prescribed to us by machines. As computers proliferated, the humans providing instructions could no longer keep up with the insatiable appetite of the machines. Codes became self-replicating, and machines began supplying instructions to other machines.
• Think about it. Your social media feeds, search engine results, suggested products on Amazon – all of these are curated for you by intelligent algorithms which study your habits even when you put the phone down for a few scant seconds. Ever notice how ads occasionally appear on your phone for things you’ve been talking about within hearing range of your phone? The machines are listening.
• Could it be possible that we’ve passed the tipping point and are already controlled by AI constructs? When you want to know something, where do you go to look it up? Google has become knowledge. When you want to know what your friends are up to, Facebook has become your social life. As those companies give more and more self-control to their AI networks, Dyson warns that we’ll see human control removed from the equation entirely.
• Technology experts have revealed a startling secret at the heart of AI: we have no idea how the most advanced systems actually do what they do as they become exponentially more and more advanced. Will all-intelligent AI become the new gods of humanity? Or will we respond with an “analog revolution” to counter the out-of-control digital revolution? Dyson, for one, believes so.
• [Editors Note] Numerous insiders, such as David Wilcock and purported SSP experiencers Corey Goode and Jason Rice, warn that humanity’s number one threat is an Artificial Intelligence emanating from another universe that is determined to dominate all biological life forms in this universe. It has overcome many worlds already, and is currently encroaching upon our own increasingly technologically-based planet. But according to Corey Goode, the imminent ‘solar event’ that will transform humanity at a consciousness level will also serve to wipe out the incipient threat of alien Artificial Intelligence, allowing humanity to forge a new spiritual-based experience for our future. See these two articles by Dr Michael Salla regarding the imminent Solar Flash: Impending Solar Flash Event Supported by Scientific Studies & Insider Testimony (Jan 7, 2019) and Cosmic Rays as Triggers for Solar Flashes, Earth Core Eruptions & Pole Shifts (Jan 16, 2019)
Despite the frequent warnings of both experts in the field and laymen, we continue to march along towards a future dominated by artificial intelligence constructs. For some reason, those with the ability to shape our futures just really want us to become the subservient Terminator fodder of a superintelligent AI hive mind built right into the very fabric of the technosphere. Are we creating our new overlords? Even worse, have already already created them? Could it be possible that we’ve already passed the tipping point and are already controlled by AI constructs?
It’s possible, according to technologist and historian George Dyson, son of theoretical physicist Freeman Dyson. Dyson has built a career out of studying the history of science and technology, and believes current trends point to a future in which the machines surely take over. To ring in the New Year in the most depressing and hope-crushing way possible, Dyson sat down with Edge.org to discuss the digital revolution and where he sees it heading. According to Dyson, we’ve already lost control of our most advanced technology and are already following the orders prescribed to us by the machines:
As computers proliferated, the humans providing instructions could no longer keep up with the insatiable appetite of the machines. Codes became self-replicating, and machines began supplying instructions to other machines. […] There is now more code than ever, but it is increasingly difficult to find anyone who has their hands on the wheel. Individual agency is on the wane. Most of us, most of the time, are following instructions delivered to us by computers rather than the other way around.
Think about it: your social media feeds, search engine results, suggested products on Amazon – all of these are curated for you by intelligent algorithms which study your habits even when you put the phone down for a few scant seconds. Ever notice how ads occasionally appear on your phone for things you’ve been talking about within hearing range of your phone? The machines are listening.

• On January 19th, the first Sky Dancer Native UFO Conference was held in Houston TX, to bring a Native American perspective on the UFO and extraterrestrial phenomenon. Presenters from the Cherokee, Zuni Pueblo, Navajo and Apache Nations included Kachina priest Clifford Mahooty; Greg Valdez, the son of New Mexico state trooper, Gabe Valdez, author of a book on mysterious cattle mutilations; and ‘Alien Hunter’ Derrel Sims.
• Some of the encounters discussed at the conference could be too frightening for the average person. For example, a pair of ex-policemen, who investigated paranormal activities in the Navajo nation during their career, narrate a movie that depicts the notorious “skinwalkers”, ie: evil beings that can transform into any animal at will.
• Derrel Sims, who is ‘part’ Cherokee, has an investigative background including military police, 40 years as a private investigator, and two years in CIA covert operations during the Vietnam War. As a child and teenager in Texas, Sims experienced several violent extraterrestrial alien abductions. More recently, his own son has had a similar experience. Sims says that ‘if you’ve been kidnapped by aliens, chances are one of your family members has also been snatched’. “They’re interested in your lineage.”
• Sims describes himself as the world’s leading expert on alien abductions as he has made it his life’s work to frustrate and defeat a malevolent alien agenda. “My general thought after doing this work for more than 40 years and literally 2,000 cases worldwide is that [alien abductors] are not benevolent. I’ve conducted 25 surgical interventions on people who have had small devices installed on them, some people call them alien implants, some of the devices turned out to be extraterrestrial,” says Sims.
• Both Sims and Mahooty have been tapped to speak at May’s Contact in the Desert in Indian Wells, California, the world’s largest UFO conference.
Alien Hunter Derrel Sims tells us that, if you’ve been kidnapped by aliens, chances are one of your family members has also been snatched. “You’re not special or unique; none of this weird stuff. They’re interested in your lineage,” he explains.
Sims says that as a child he was abducted by an alien in Midland and had a later, more violent encounter at the age of 17. He also says that years later his own son had been taken from their ranch near Huffman. He describes himself as the world’s leading expert on alien abductions and has since made it his life’s work to frustrate and defeat what he terms a malevolent alien agenda.
He’ll share information culled from more than 40 years of investigations at the inaugural Sky Dancer Native UFO Conference, where he’ll introduce fascinating statistics (45 percent of abductees are of Native American, Irish, English or Scottish descent), and deliver a keynote presentation, “Physical Evidence of the Alien and Where Are They Now?”
The conference, which is being presented through the prism of the Native American perspective, brings fresh insight to this mysterious subject with presenters from the Cherokee, Zuni Pueblo, Navajo and Apache Nations. Sims describes himself as “part blood, not full blood” and will be speaking from the Cherokee point of view. Topics include paranormal tribal histories, unexplained phenomena and extraterrestrial life.
Other speakers include Clifford Mahooty, a Zuni Pueblo leader and Kachina priest; and Greg Valdez, son of a New Mexico state trooper and author of Dulce Base The Truth and Evidence From the Case Files of Gabe Valdez, a book that delves into cattle mutilations.
“The whole idea is fun and information. I don’t mind telling you, you better be prepared. They’re going to tell you things you haven’t heard before,” says Sims, adding that a segment by Stanley Milford and Jonathan “Redbird” Dover just might be too frightening for some.

• Many people know “Foo Fighters” as the name of ex-Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl’s rock band. But where did the name come from?
• The term “foo fighter” was first coined by the US Army Air Force in World War II, as a term for strange phenomena sighted in the sky. In November 1944, pilots flying over Western Europe had spotted glowing objects flying quickly around the night sky – which were thought to be a new Nazi secret weapon.
• These objects were dubbed “foo-fighters” by a radar operator, Donald J. Meiers, who named them after a then-current comic strip called Smokey Stover. Smokey was a fireman, or “foo fighter”, who traveled to incidents in his “Foomobile”. The term was in common usage by the 1930’s, even showing up in a Daffy Duck cartoon.
• “Had I actually considered this to be a career, I probably would have called it something else, because it’s the stupidest fucking band name in the world,” said Grohl.
• Grohl has long been fascinated by the extraterrestrial phenomenon. In 1996, he and his then-wife Jennifer Youngblood made a brief cameo appearance in an episode of the X-Files tv show. (see video clip below)
• [Editor’s Note] Actually, there were accounts of American pilots seeing glowing “foo fighter” balls as early as the summer 1943 on a bombing run over industrial targets around Schweinfurt, Germany, which resulted in a disastrous loss of American planes and crew. Survivors secretly spoke of these ‘foo fighters’ assisting the Nazi Luftwaffe in their defensive attacks. Did Hitler’s extraterrestrial allies deploy these orb craft to help protect Germany’s industrial efforts to build a space fleet, which soon led to the Nazi’s relocating their spacecraft industry to Antarctica?
Foo Fighters – a name that’s synonymous around the world with heavy guitar anthems and the legend that is Dave Grohl. But why did Big Dave pick such an unusual name? What does “Foo Fighters” actually mean?
Back in the Nirvana days, Grohl had written and recorded songs but had kept them to himself as he considered Kurt Cobain to be the musical genius in the group. When Cobain died in April 1994, it looked like Dave would join another band as a superstar drummer, but the world was surprised when he came out of the studio with a whole album’s worth of his own songs, recorded pretty much by himself.
But Dave still wasn’t confident enough to release the music under his own name. He told Clash magazine in 2010: “Around the time that I recorded the first FF [demo] tape, I was reading a lot of books on UFOs. Not only is it a fascinating subject, but there’s a treasure trove of band names in those UFO books!”
“I had recorded the first record by myself, but I wanted people to think that it was a group, I figured that FOO FIGHTERS might lead people to believe that it was more than just one guy. Silly, huh?”
“Had I actually considered this to be a career, I probably would have called it something else, because it’s the stupidest fucking band name in the world.”
The term “foo fighter” was first coined by the US Air Force in World War II, as a term for strange phenomena sighted in the sky, before the term “unidentified flying objects” became a term. In November 1944, pilots flying over Western Europe had spotted glowing objects flying quickly around the night sky – which were thought to be a new German “secret weapon”.

• In 2017, leaked records showed the Pentagon ran a secret $22 million extraterrestrial “black project” after reports of an aircraft moving at “very high velocities that hovered with no apparent means of lift”.
• Still, the Assistant Director of Science for Communications at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC), in Maryland near Washington D.C. , Michelle Thaller, (pictured above) insists the space agency knows nothing about extra-terrestrial life. She reasons that there is no way alien life could be covered-up, and it would be obvious if there was ever a threat to Earth. “We are just people and if we knew something, there is no way to hide it,” Thaller insists. “We have nothing to hide.”
• “I know this won’t convince conspiracy theorists, but one of the things I love most about our science is how accessible it is,” says Dr Thaller, a 49 year-old astronomer who studies binary stars and their life cycle “We are now trying to involve the public in more than we do.”
• [Editor’s Note] There appears to be a strict line between the NASA secret space program which works with the MIC SSP and the Air Force SSP to conduct operations in near space around the planet and the Moon, and the Public Relations NASA that is told nothing about the various secret space programs and their interactions with extraterrestrial beings so they can claim ignorance with plausible deniability. NASA and the Air Force still dodge the issue by using the standard lines that they’ve used since the 1940’s – that our government simply cannot keep a secret, and that ‘there is no extraterrestrial threat’. Well of course there is no threat because the ETs are working directly with our government. Dr Thaller is either being intentionally kept in the dark or is under strict orders to lie to the press and to the public about the hidden extraterrestrial presence here on Earth.
Conspiracy theorists have long believed NASA is involved in a cover-up surrounding alien activity due to the number of UFO sightings worldwide that go unexplained. In 2017, leaked records showed the Pentagon ran a secret $22million (£17million) extra-terrestrial “black project” after reports of an aircraft moving at “very high velocities that hovered with no apparent means of lift”. However, NASA’s Assistant Director Michelle Thaller insists the space agency knows nothing more about extra-terrestrial life than what it has shared with the public.
She revealed there is no way alien life could be covered-up and it would be obvious if there was ever a threat to Earth.
Dr Thaller told BigThink: “The day you see all the NASA scientists max out their credit cards and disappear, that is when you should worry.
“We are just people and if we knew something, there is no way to hide it.”
“Whenever we find something that is even slightly interesting we go to the government and the press about it – we have nothing to hide.”
“This is something that is really difficult, people think we are hiding aliens, but that shows the gap between scientists and the public.”
“We are now trying to involve the public in more than we do.”

• The National UFO Reporting Center based in Davenport, Washington, received reports on 103 UFO sightings by the public in New York state in 2018.
• “Obvious hoaxes have been omitted, however most reports have been posted exactly as received in the author’s own words,” notes the Center. The Center also said it has recently seen a high volume of prank calls on its hotline.
• Many UFO reports mention triangular-shaped objects or groups of objects, blinking lights, hovering objects and either saucer-shaped or cigar-shaped craft.
• The majority of sightings happen at night. But one school student spotted an object on the morning of April 17th in Burnt Hills, NY. “I was sitting in class and looked out of my class window and noticed a small egg-shaped object made of metal. It was floating above my school, but since I was taking a test I didn’t point it out.”
• A sighting from Route 88 near Richmondville, NY in July mentioned a semi-truck with trooper and military escort: “On the flatbed was a craft that resembled a somewhat flattened bullet, with the back end flatter and 3 or 4 round things inside the back end for possible propulsion or exhaust function. No windows. No wings.”
• Another report read: “My son and sister witnessed a creature at 3:20 in the morning while letting dog out. They came in running and screaming. They said the thing was 7-8 feet tall grey green elongated head, no genitals and when they startled it, it ran at an impossible speed covering over 150 [?] in two seconds and was out of sight.”
• A 2017 study by Chapman University in California found that 35 percent of Americans believe that aliens have come to Earth in the ancient past; 23 percent believe aliens are still visiting in modern times.
More than 100 UFO sightings were reported in New York last year to the National UFO Reporting Center.
The center, based in Davenport, Wash., says it makes no claims as to the validity of the information in any of these reports. “Obvious hoaxes have been omitted, however most reports have been posted exactly as received in the author’s own words.”
“We hope that this information will prove to be useful to the general public and the UFO community at large.”
Whether or not you believe these reports, the New York state UFOs are worth a look. In all, there were 103 UFO reports from the state in 2018.
Many mention triangular-shaped objects or groups of objects, blinking lights, hovering objects and either saucer-shaped or cigar-shaped craft.
The majority of sightings happened after dark, but one student spotted an objectwhile taking a test on the morning of April 17 in Burnt Hills.
“I was sitting in class and looked out of my class window and noticed a small egg-shaped object made of metal. It was floating above my school, but since I was taking a test I didn’t point it out.”
The National UFO Reporting Center site indicates whether anyone checked out the report (some are labeled “hoax?”) or view video or photos.
A sighting from Route 88 near Richmondville, Schoharie County, in July mentioned a semi truck with trooper and military escort: “On the flatbed was a craft that resembled a somewhat flattened bullet, with the back end flatter and 3 or 4 round things inside the back end for possible propulsion or exhaust function. no windows. no wings.”

• More than two years since the mysterious death of British conspiracy theorist Max Spiers (pictured above), while in Warsaw, Poland as a guest speaker a UFO conference, a British inquest has concluded that Spiers died from a combination of pneumonia and drug intoxication, causing an “aspiration of gastric contents” – an explanation for the copious amount of black liquid that Spiers expelled at his death, further fueling conspiracy theories. A post-mortem examination by a pathologist in Kent found deadly levels of the opioid oxycodone in his system.
• Spiers had made a career out of investigating alleged government cover-ups of UFO sightings and revealing his findings at various conferences. Spiers spoke of a secret underground alien base in New Mexico that used children for their “pure energy”. In Warsaw he was scheduled to discuss “secret military programs”.
• Shortly before his death, Spiers texted his mother, Vanessa Bates, claiming he feared being murdered and urging her to “investigate” if anything happened to him. But after his death, Polish authorities didn’t carry out a post-mortem. Spiers’ family were told that he had died of natural causes. Many in his immediate circle of friends claimed extra-terrestrial involvement in his death, or governmental mind control, or the involvement of a satanic cult. For his friends in the conspiracy community, the results of the British inquest only deepened the mystery as to what happened to him. His friend and fellow UFO researcher Miles Johnston told HuffPost UK: “It’s a cover story for ordinary folk.”
• According to the inquiry’s conclusion, while in Warsaw that fateful summer of 2016, Spiers (39) met Monika Duval (50), fell in love and moved in with her. Earlier that summer, Spiers and Duval had traveled together to Cyprus. When Spiers discovered that the Turkish version of the anti-anxiety drug Xanax could be obtained without a prescription, he had Duval purchase the pharmacy’s entire stock. Spiers was found to have taken about 10 of the tablets on the day he died. Spiers had developed an addiction at the age of 18 after being prescribed opioids following a traffic accident. It was also revealed that Spiers had been addicted to heroin and crack cocaine. Duval said she had noticed he often felt ill while staying with her and that “sometimes he felt weak and had problems with focus and attention.” She said he had once spent a day in a deckchair in her garden “unconscious.” Spiers died in her home on 16 July 2016.
• Immediately after his death, Miles Johnston told BBC Radio Four that Spiers had been working to expose “enemies within other realities.” Johnston believes Spiers was a “super-soldier” who was being directed through mind control by the British government. “He was a weaponized system to be engaged in with some kind of warfare.” Johnston heads ‘The Bases Project’, which believes humanity and all life on earth will be wiped out by a predator species within three generations. Says Johnson, “We’re dealing with aliens. We’re dealing with a predator within humanity, a fifth column, which has been successful so far in causing us a great deal of damage and harm. People like Max were involved in exposing that fifth column. He knew he was going to die. He knew he was in a trap. He told his mother that.”
• Spiers’s former girlfriend, Sarah Adams (also purported to be a British-controlled “super-soldier”), remembers things differently. Shortly after his death, she told The Sun he had been held against his will in Poland, in a house surrounded by electric fencing. She claimed that he had wanted to come back to England to marry her and have a child. “He rang me secretly because they wouldn’t let him talk to me. They were doing very dark black magic and satanic rituals to ‘de-program’ him and get rid of demons,” she claimed. Adams says that she is now being blamed for Spiers’s death.
• Nick Pope, a former agent of the British Ministry of Defence who ran a government UFO project, said, “The theory in the conspiracy theory community seems to be that he was assassinated by the powers that be, for getting too close to some truth or truths that the Illuminati, the New World Order – or whoever today’s bad guys happen to be – didn’t want revealed. It’s faulty thinking, because predictably, he and his theories became better-known after his death than before.” Refuting intervention by the Illuminati, Pope said, “It’s a tragic case of a young man with a history of addiction, suffering from pneumonia and taking a variety of medications. It’s a desperately sad story, but unfortunately not an unusual one.” Pope finds it almost impossible to dissuade conspiracy-minded people, however. “It’s a deeply held, almost religious belief that I think some of these people have and you can talk very few people out of their religion and faith.”
• For Spiers’ mother, the inquest has allowed her to finally grieve her son. Though she respected and admired his work, she did not subscribe to his beliefs. “He had a belief system. A lot of what he questioned, I would have agreed with him on when it came to the government. It’s when it got into other worldly things that I couldn’t follow, I don’t hold those beliefs myself.” She added, “The pneumonia was clearly a massive aspect of his death, which I hadn’t realized. In a way, it was good to know that.”
When British conspiracy theorist Max Spiers died suddenly in Poland in 2016, it wasn’t surprising that his community of fellow sleuths and UFO hunters thought it was suspicious. Soon after his death, rumours of “black liquid” emerging from his body spread across the internet.
Spiers, 39, had made a career out of investigating alleged government cover-ups of UFO sightings. He was well known, spoke at conferences, and believed there was a secret underground alien base in New Mexico that used children for their “pure energy”.
That summer in 2016, he had travelled to Warsaw to talk at a conference about “secret military programmes”. There he met a woman, Monika Duval, 50, who he soon moved in with. But two months later, however, Spiers was texting his mother claiming he feared being murdered and urging her to “investigate” if anything happened to him.
He died in her home on 16 July 2016. But after his death, the Polish authorities didn’t carry out a post-mortem, and his family were told that he had died of natural causes. In the absence of a full investigation, many in his immediate circle claimed extra-terrestrial involvement in his death, or governmental mind control, or the involvement of a satanic cult.
Now, more than two years on, an inquest in Britain recorded a narrative conclusion, giving Spiers’s cause of death as pneumonia and intoxication by drugs, which caused an “aspiration of gastric contents” – an explanation for the black liquid that had fuelled so many conspiracies. A post-mortem examination carried out by a pathologist in Kent also found deadly levels of oxycodone, an opioid, in his system.
For his mother, Vanessa Bates, the long-awaited inquest has brought a sense of closure, after she fought hard for an investigation into her son’s death. But for members of the conspiracy theory community in which Spiers made his name, the inquest has simply deepened the mystery as to what happened to him.
According to evidence presented at the inquest, Spiers and Duval had become lovers, travelling together on holiday to Cyprus with Duval’s teenage daughter. While there, Duval bought a pharmacy’s “entire stock” of the Turkish version of the anti-anxiety drug Xanax at Spiers’s request, after he realised it could be obtained without a prescription. Spiers was found to have taken about 10 of the tablets on the day he died.
Spiers had a long-standing problem with drugs. Originally from Canterbury, he had developed an addiction at the age of 18 after being prescribed opioids following a traffic accident. It was also revealed that Spiers, who was a former classmate of the Hollywood actor Orlando Bloom, had been addicted to heroin and crack cocaine.
Duval, who had attempted to resuscitate Spiers after he stopped breathing, said she had noticed he often felt ill while staying with her and that “sometimes he felt weak and had problems with focus and attention.” She said he had once spent a day in a deckchair in her garden “unconscious.”
She added: “I would have done anything to save him, I really cared about him. I was deeply in love with him,” she told the inquest.

• The first episode of “Project Blue Book” premiered on the History Channel Tuesday, January 8th. It focuses on a 25-year-old National Guard lieutenant’s encounter with an UFO in the skies above Fargo, North Dakota.
• In October 1948, the local Fargo newspaper interviewed Lieutenant George Gorman, a B-25 fighter pilot in World War II. He told ‘The Forum’ that his “dogfight” with the UFO was “the weirdest experience I’ve had in my life.”
• The Fargo newspaper ran an account of the incident at the time. Flying at night in a P-51 over what is now North Dakota State University during a football game, Gorman saw a “flying disk”. It was round with well-defined edges, brilliantly lit and circling over the city. Gorman decided to investigate and a 27-minute chase ensued. Gorman tried crashing into it, but the disk dodged him at speeds of 600 mph. His P-51 aircraft’s top speed was 400 mph. As he approached the disk, it lit up and, with a burst of speed, outdistanced him.
• “Once, when the object was coming head on, I held my plane pointed right at it,” Gorman reported. “The object came so close that I involuntarily ducked my head because I thought a crash was inevitable. But the object zoomed over my head.”
• His story was corroborated by another pilot flying over Fargo that night, and two air traffic controllers to whom Gorman relayed information regarding the disk. Maj. D. C. Jones, commander of the 178th fighter squadron at Hector airport, said Gorman was so shaken by the experience that Gorman had difficulty landing that night.
• The Air Force investigated the incident through Project Blue Book, as depicted in the television show. According to the National Archives, there were more than 12,500 sightings reported to Project Blue Book in the 1950’s and 60’s, but the investigations officially found no evidence that UFOs were “extraterrestrial vehicles” or a security threat, including this one. Air Force investigators noted that Gorman was a credible, sincere witness “who was considerably puzzled by his experience and made no attempt to blow his story up.” But the Air Force ultimately ruled it an encounter with a weather balloon.
• According to ‘The Forum’ newspaper clippings from 1947 to 1995, UFO sightings were a dime a dozen back then. “A flurry of reports of unidentified flying objects were made in North Dakota,” says an article from August 1965. Countless columns aimed to disprove the sightings, claiming that “flying saucers aren’t for real,” said one article from August 1963. A March 1950 article tried to downplay the UFO hype, saying UFOs aren’t anything new and that, in fact, sightings in North Dakota dated back to 1897.
• Nevertheless, the Fargo-Moorhead area has welcomed “ufologists” for lectures over the years. Officials investigated reports made by children, adults and law enforcement alike.
• As for Gorman, he carried out his career in the Guard quietly, never again speaking publicly about his UFO experience. He denied Life magazine an interview in 1952. Gorman told friends that “he was never convinced that he had been dueling with a lighted balloon for 27 minutes.”
A new History Channel series exploring U.S. investigations into UFOs has a strong Fargo tie.
The first episode of “Project Blue Book” premiered Tuesday, Jan. 8. It focuses on a 25-year-old National Guard lieutenant’s encounter with an unidentified flying object in the skies above Fargo.
The lieutenant, George Gorman, a B-25 fighter pilot in World War II, told The Forum in October 1948 that the “dogfight” with the UFO was “the weirdest experience I’ve had in my life.”
According to the archived Forum article: Flying in a P-51 over what is now North Dakota State University during a football game, Gorman saw the “flying disk,” according to the archived Forum article. It was round with well-defined edges, brilliantly lit and circling over the city.
After Gorman decided to investigate the disk, a 27-minute chase ensued in the Fargo night sky.
Gorman tried crashing into it, but the disk dodged him at speeds of 600 mph, he recalled. His aircraft was going at a top speed of 400 mph, and as he approached the disk, it lit up and, with a burst of speed, outdistanced him.
“Once, when the object was coming head on, I held my plane pointed right at it,” Gorman said. “The object came so close that I involuntarily ducked my head because I thought a crash was inevitable. But the object zoomed over my head.”
His story was corroborated by another pilot flying in Fargo that night and two air traffic controllers who Gorman relayed information to regarding the disk’s antics.
Maj. D. C. Jones, commander of the 178th fighter squadron at Hector airport, said Gorman was so shaken by the experience that Gorman had difficulty landing that night.

• UFO sightings over Belgium surged in 2018 with Belgians making 255 UFO reports, compared to 171 eyewitness reports made in 2017. Even the mayor of a suburban town near Wezembeek-Oppem reported spotting a UFO in the summer. Belgium had nearly the same amount of sightings last year as its much larger neighbor, France.
• Belgium experienced a UFO Wave from November 1989 to April 1990, with the triangle craft (TR3B) being the most reported. One of these delta craft was even chased by Belgian F-16 fighter jets.
• Patrick Ferryn, president of Cobeps, the Belgian committee for the study of space phenomena, said, “We don’t know why the numbers have increased this year. It was a hot summer and it may be simply that when the weather is good and the skies are clear, people look at the skies more often.” In 2018 the majority of sighting were explained away as being planes, balloons, meteors, Chinese lanterns and satellites – usually the International Space Station.
• “Surprisingly drones have still not had an impact,” said Mr Ferryn, “Ever since the first drones went on the shelves we have been waiting to be submerged with reports of a galactic invasion of drones – but it still has not happened.”
UFO sightings over the supposedly boring country of Belgium surged last year with astonished Belgians reporting higher numbers of possible alien spaceships than in 2017.
Belgium recorded 255 reports of UFOs in 2018, an increase on the 171 witnessed in 2017. Sightings were up across the whole country, peaking in October, with increases in the French-speaking region of Wallonia, Dutch-speaking Flanders and Brussels.
179 sightings were reported in more prosperous Flanders, compared to 76 in more rural Wallonia. Brussels is the country’s third federal region and the mayor of the leafy suburb of Wezembeek-Oppem made news last summer when he claimed to have spotted a UFO.
Belgian UFO investigators told the Telegraph that the 2018 figures were a return to the form shown over the last five years.
Despite being smaller than Switzerland, Belgium has regularly punched above its weight when it comes to UFO sightings. Even in 2017, a relatively fallow year, it outscored Norway, Finland and Denmark and recorded only a handful fewer sightings than its much larger neighbour France.
From November 1989 to April 1990, Belgian UFO spotters enjoyed their golden age. The Belgian UFO Wave involved multiple reports of triangular shaped craft in Belgian skies over an extended period, including one which was chased by F-16 fighter jets.
Patrick Ferryn, president of Cobeps, the francophone Belgian committee for the study of space phenomena, said, “You must know that most of these sightings will have the most banal explanation but there is a residue, which we simply can’t explain. And of those, there may be two or three where we may have questions over where they came from.”
“We don’t know why the numbers have increased this year. It was a hot summer and it may be simply that when the weather is good and the skies are clear, people look at the skies more often,” he added.

• With the release of CW’s newest series ‘Roswell, New Mexico’ on January 15th, we take a cursory look at the truths and misconceptions perpetuated by Hollywood when it comes to the topic of aliens and UFOs.
• According to Robbie Graham, author of Silver Screen Saucers, “Hollywood takes a huge amount of liberties obviously with any adaptation of any real event. Even Hollywood’s adaptations of well documented, agreed upon historical events often take great artistic liberties. There is a popular misconception that the phenomena as we understand it today has sprung from Hollywood’s imagining of such events.”
• Author and paranormal investigator Kitty Janusz, a UFO witness herself, says, “A lot of paranormal investigators avoid alien energy because it makes them really uncomfortable. …[T]hat kind of energy it is not a benevolent energy. In fact, not all paranormal investigators tap into the alien energy at all. …It makes some people nervous because they don’t know what their agenda is or what their intentions are.”
• Janusz believes that there is something far bigger going on here. Just like in the ‘Roswell, New Mexico’ television series, she does believe that it’s a possibility that there are incognito aliens walking among us. “I think it’s definitely a plausibility that aliens are infiltrating our society pretending to be one of us. Flying overhead and doing fly byes doesn’t seem beneficial unless they were infiltrating us. There are some schools of thought that say we are just an experiment, like a little farm, and I wouldn’t be surprised.”
• Former CIA agent Derrel Sims claims to have had several abduction experiences with extraterrestrials, and they were not good. In 1988 Sims founded Saber Enterprises to analyze evidence of extraterrestrial/human interaction. “Aliens have lied to every culture they have had contact with,” says Sims. “They are not like humans. It is a serious mistake to try to judge the alien based on the idea that they’re just like us, but a little different.”
• In shows like ‘Roswell, New Mexico’ aliens are always portrayed to have some kind of power that humans do not possess. Sims gives two examples: “Aliens appear to have a total understanding of gravity. This is how they move rapidly without injury. They understand the infrared and UV spectrum and use it to their advantage to cloak themselves and their craft. DSP (Defense Support Program) satellites knows this better than anyone.”
• Sims is also an expert on alien implants. There are thousands of medical accounts that truly have no other explanation. Says Sims, “Alien implants are a device or object left inside the human being by the alien presence. In 1994, I had spoken to 250 doctors and surgeons at the John Muir Medical Hospital in Northern California. [D]uring our first two surgeries, both surgeons were startled by the results. …There was a biological cocoon surrounding the objects. The cocoon was a non-inflammatory response, not made by the body, and according to the pathologist, was impossible for it to be in that location.”
• Do shows like ‘Roswell, New Mexico’ even get it remotely right? It’s not so crazy to think that perhaps Hollywood builds these narratives around some type of truth. According to Graham, “I think it’s always been a constant struggle to figure out what is going on here. I am sure people have drawn private conclusions in various intelligent and military circles, but I don’t think anyone has the truth. I mean the phenomena that has been reported over seven decades is so bizarre and it seems to be related to us a species and our consciousness levels as well. We play a part in manifesting this phenomena.”
Popular culture has been creating extraterrestrial narratives for about 70 years now, and each story explores the legends of aliens in different ways. With the release of CW’s newest series ‘Roswell, New Mexico’ coming in just a few days, we decided to dig deeper into these fascinating myths to perhaps find some kernel of truth in what many assume to be a highly fictionalized topic. According to Robbie Graham, author of Silver Screen Saucers and expert on all things extraterrestrial in popular culture, Hollywood does indeed twist whatever truths exist in regards to the topic of aliens and UFOs. Additionally, Graham even thinks that Hollywood is somewhat to blame about the common misconceptions surrounding this taboo topic.
“Hollywood takes a huge amount of liberties obviously with any adaptation of any real event. Even Hollywood’s adaptations of well documented, agreed upon historical events often take great artistic liberties. There is a popular misconception that the phenomena as we understand it today has sprung from Hollywood’s imagining of such events.”
However, with that being said, there has to be some truth behind these crazy theories, right? We spoke with author and paranormal investigator Kitty Janusz, who explained the type of energy that people in her field feel when trying to tap into the extraterrestrial realm. Janusz herself says that she has seen UFOs several times in her life, so is a believer that there is something else out there, but it likely isn’t what many perceive it to be.
“A lot of paranormal investigators avoid alien energy because it makes them really uncomfortable. We have an open mind and we would love to learn because we have a scientific mindset, but when we actually do encounter that kind of energy it is not a benevolent energy. In fact, not all paranormal investigators tap into the alien energy at all, as it can be very sporadic and tense. It makes some people nervous because they don’t know what their agenda is or what their intentions are.”
Even though Janusz is unclear on what it is that aliens would want from us, she does believe that there is something far bigger going on here. Just like in the ‘Roswell, New Mexico’ television series, she does believe that it’s a possibility that there are aliens incognito walking among us, but the million dollar question is, why?
“I think it’s definitely a plausibility that aliens are infiltrating our society pretending to be one of us. Flying overhead and doing fly byes doesn’t seem beneficial unless they were infiltrating us. There are some schools of thought that say we are just an experiment, like a little farm, and I wouldn’t be surprised. I don’t think we are the high ones on any ladder by any means.”
Derrel Sims, former CIA agent and one of the world’s leading experts on alien abductions, claims to have had several experiences with extraterrestrials, and they were not good. In 1988 Sims founded Saber Enterprises, and the initial objective was to collect physical evidence that would support the reality of extraterrestrial/human interaction and to analyze that evidence to learn as much as possible about the phenomenon. Sims has some fascinating stories and theories that explore both the intentions and methods aliens have when interacting with humans.
“Aliens have lied to every culture they have had contact with. They are not like humans. It is a serious mistake to try to judge the alien based on the idea that they’re just like us, but a little different.”

• On December 11, 2018, a massive rockslide fell off of the side of a mountain in a remote region of Siberia, blocking the nearby Bureya river. The villages of Chekunda, Ust-Urgal and Elga are being evacuated due to the risk of flooding or a second landslide. Vladimir Putin has sent in teams of geomorphologists, geologists, hydrologists and land-surveyors and even Russian soldiers to investigate amid suggestions it may have been caused by a UFO crash-landing. A poll of eastern Siberian Russians revealed that 33 per cent of the local populace believes that a UFO caused the rock slide.
• Hunters first reached the scene, alerted by a sudden and inexplicable change in the flow of the river. The hunters also reported ‘hot rocks’ on which they could warm their hands. Their initial guess was that the rock slide had been caused by a meteorite strike. But there were no reports of space rock hitting the area.
• Whatever the cause, the amount of displaced rock would fill 13,600 Olympic-sized swimming pools, and left a gash in the side of the mountain. The military is using explosives and equipment to restore the river flow. Flooding could also disrupt a 2,700-mile long rail line which is a vital link between the Siberian interior and Russia’s eastern coast. “Given the significant size of the landslide, units of engineers and railway forces with special equipment, as well as army and transport aviation, will be involved in clearing the rock,” a source said. A downstream hydro-electricity station is also threatened due to the river drying up.
• Professor Dave Petley, an expert at the University of Sheffield, dismissed both a meteorite or a UFO crash as the cause. Petley says that the mountain slope above the Bureya had a “pre-existing tension crack or depression” which failed at an altitude of around 1,900 ft., although it was unusual for the fall to occur in winter when the ground was frozen. He warned that mountain conditions showed the potential for an even bigger landslide in the future.
Vladimir Putin has drafted in soldiers to investigate a “collapsed mountain” in a remote region of Siberia amid suggestions it may have been caused by a UFO crash-landing.
Whatever the cause, the event resulted in a massive rockfall which has blocked the nearby Bureya river, and left several villages at risk of flooding. So much rock was shifted it would fill 13,600 Olympic-sized swimming pools, say experts.
Meanwhile, the falling 34 million cubic metres of debris left a gash in a mountain which could swallow up all the water used if every American showered at the same time.
The Russian army has been dispatched to the scene to try and find out what caused the catastrophic event and move a 525ft-high mound of rock, which has substantially blocked the Bureya, with village in the Khabarovsk and Amur regions at risk of flooding.
The military has being tasked with “moving the mountain”, using explosives and equipment to allow the water to flow again.
But experts have warned nearby rock is fractured and a second gargantuan landslide is not ruled out
A defence ministry source said a group of specialists is en route “to conduct reconnaissance work” at the site, where the rocks fell some 1,280 ft on to the valley floor.
The source added: “Given the significant size of the landslide, units of engineers and railway forces with special equipment, as well as army and transport aviation, will be involved in clearing the rock.”
Plans are being drawn up for the evacuation of 400 people from the villages of Chekunda, Ust-Urgal and Elga .
Flooding could also disrupt the 2,700-mile long Baikal-Amur Mainline rail link, which is a vital link between the Siberian interior and Russia’s east coast, unless the army can unblock the river quickly.
To complicate matters still further, a hydro-electricity station is also threatened because water is drying up in Bureyskaya hydro power reservoir located downstream.
Russia has also sent in teams of geomorphologists, geologists, hydrologists and land-surveyors to assess the carnage, which seems to have happened on December 11, reported The Siberian Times.
Alexey Maslov, head of Verkhnebureinsky district where the incident happened, said: “We are trying to find the explanation for this incident.
“I insist that it was a meteorite.”
However, a local poll in eastern Russian suggested the while 27 per cent agreed with his assessment, more – 33 per cent believed a UFO – was the cause.

• “The Annunciation with Saint Emidius”, a painting by Carlo Crivelli which dates back to 1486 (shown below), depicts a UFO in the skies firing down a beam of light to the Virgin Mary. Ancient alien theorists interpret this scene as when the Virgin Mary was impregnated with her son, Jesus Christ. Thus, conspiracy theorists claim that Jesus was actually sent to Earth by a different race from another planet.
• The website Listverse states: “Their belief is that Jesus was not divine at all. Instead, it was the result of genetic engineering and the implanting of a child into the unsuspecting Immaculate Conception.” “Many people who claim to have been abducted (by aliens) state that they were inside their homes when a strange light shone from outside the buildings.”
• However, ufologist Jacques Vallee told Huffington Post that the painting is fictional, and there is no way the artist would know what is in the skies at the time of the supposed conception of Christ as it was painted almost 1500 years later.
• Similarly, the walls of the Svetitskhoveli Cathedral in Mtskheta, Georgia (Eastern Europe) contain an 11th century portrait of Christ being crucified with a large crowd gathered around Him (shown above). But in the top left and right corners are what appear to be dome-shaped flying craft with three trails coming out of each. Theorists claim that this is proof of the existence of alien UFO’s 2000 years ago. Art historians claim that the strange craft actually represent guardian angels.
A Painting dating back to the 1400s could prove that aliens coexisted with humans on Earth and may have played a part in the story of the Bible.
The paining in question is the “The Annunciation with Saint Emidius,” by Carlo Crivelli which dates back to 1486. In it, a strange object is seen in the skies firing down a beam to the Virgin Mary, supposedly impregnating her with Jesus Christ. While the thin laser-like light was meant to stem from a formation of angels, conspiracy theorists claim it is a UFO firing the beam, and is more proof of ancient aliens.
Conspiracy theorists claim that Jesus was not divine, but was actually sent by a different race from another planet.
The website Listverse states: “Their belief is that Jesus was not divine at all. Instead, it was the result of genetic engineering and the implanting of a child into the unsuspecting Immaculate Conception.
“Supposedly, she was abducted and impregnated by an alien race. They argue that the beam of light striking Mary while she is indoors is consistent with modern-day alien abductions.
“Many people who claim to have been abducted state that they were inside their homes when a strange light shone from outside the buildings.”
However, computer scientist Jacques Vallee told Huffington Post that the painting is fictional, and there is no way the artist would know what is in the skies at the time of the supposed conception of Christ as it was painted almost 1500 years later.

• On January 10th, former Nevada Senator and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid told KNPR radio that he was scheduled to talk with an important senator about setting up a way for members of the military to support exploring UFO and USO (unidentified submerged objects) sightings without facing retribution. “I personally don’t know if there exists little green men… but I do believe that the information we have indicates we should do a lot more study,” the Nevada Democrat said.
• “What we found in the past is that these pilots, when they see something strange like this, they’re prone not to report it for fear that the bosses will think something’s wrong with them, and they don’t get the promotion,” Reid said. “So, many, many times they don’t say a word to anybody about these strange things.”
• “The facts are, they need a place to be able to report this, and that’s what I’m going to work on in a couple of hours, to make sure that somebody I think’s a powerful member in Congress, I want him to be able to sit down and talk to some of these pilots who have seen these things,” Reid said. “I can arrange this because of the contacts I have with members of the Congress.”
• Although Reid declined to identify the US Senator to whom he referred, Reid’s former deputy, Senate Minority Whip Richard J. Durbin, D-Ill., happens to be the ranking member of the Defense Appropriations Subcommittee.
• Reid recalled how he lobbied the leaders of the Senate Appropriation’s Defense Subcommittee to get money for a Pentagon UFO research project, which the New York Times reported in December 2017. He related how the late Sen. Ted Stevens, R-Alaska, was entirely on board because of a suspicious aircraft he cited during his own time as military pilot. “Frankly, I think the federal government has done almost nothing to help us with this,” Reid said.
• In the radio interview, Reid also confirmed his knowledge about a notorious secret base in Nevada. “Oh sure, I’ve been to Area 51. …I know Area 51 quite well. I know what they’ve done there.”
Former Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid is lobbying his former colleagues to do more to study unidentified flying objects.
“I personally don’t know if there exists little green men other places, I kind of doubt that, but I do believe that the information we have indicates we should do a lot more study,” the Nevada Democrat said. “We have hundreds and hundreds of people that have seen the same thing — something in the sky, it moves a certain way.”
Reid said that also included sightings of vessels at sea.
The topic of UFOs was on Reid’s mind Thursday because his interview with KNPR came just before he said he was scheduled to talk with an important senator about setting up a way for members of the military to support exploring suspicious sightings without facing retribution.
“I’m going to have a call with a member of the Senate in an hour or two where we have people in the military who want to come and tell somebody what they’ve seen,” Reid said in the interview, declining to identify who that senator is. (Food for thought: Reid’s former deputy, Senate Minority Whip Richard J. Durbin, D-Ill., is the ranking member of the Defense Appropriations Subcommittee.)
“What we found in the past is that these pilots, when they see something strange like this, they’re prone not to report it for fear that the bosses will think something’s wrong with them, and they don’t get the promotion,” he said. “So, many, many times they don’t say a word to anybody about these strange things.”
“The facts are, they need a place to be able to report this, and that’s what I’m going to work on in a couple of hours, to make sure that somebody I think’s a powerful member in Congress, I want him to be able to sit down and talk to some of these pilots who have seen these things,” Reid said. “I can arrange this because of the contacts I have with members of the Congress.”
Back in December 2017, the New York Times reported on a Pentagon program to study UFO sightings that came about because of Reid’s advocacy back when he was serving in the Senate.

• On the heels of China’s Chang’e-4 historic landing on the far side of the moon on January 3rd, China announced its plans to follow up with three more lunar missions, laying the groundwork for a lunar base.
• How close is China to actually achieving this goal? With modern technological advancements and the discovery of water sources close to the lunar poles, China could start building a base on the Moon today.
• The lunar environment is susceptible to deep vacuum conditions, strong temperature fluctuations and solar radiation, among other conditions hostile to humans. So the first lunar base would likely be an unmanned facility run by automated robotics to ensure that the necessary infrastructures and support systems are fully operational before people arrive. China has taken the first step by examining the soil of the lunar surface. This is necessary for building an underground habitat and supporting infrastructure that will shield the base from the harsh surface conditions.
• Seeds taken to the Moon by the Chang’e-4 mission have now reportedly sprouted. This is the first time plants have been grown on the Moon, paving the way for a future food farm on the lunar base.
• Of all the possible technologies for building a lunar base, 3D printing offers the most effective strategy. 3D printing on Earth has revolutionized manufacturing productivity and efficiency. 3D printers that can operate in the microgravity environment of the Moon have the potential to make everything from daily items, like drinking cups to repair parts for the base. Both Germany and NASA have already demonstrated the feasibility of 3D printing technology in zero gravity. A lunar base will likely be built using prefabricated parts in combination with large-scale 3D printing.
• We know that human organs, tissues and cells are highly responsive to gravity, but an understanding of how human cells function and regenerate in a Moon environment is currently lacking. Will medicine from Earth still work? Again, 3D bio-printing of human organs and tissues will play a crucial role in sustaining lunar missions by allowing for robotic surgeries. Russia recently demonstrated the first 3D bio-printer to function under microgravity.
• What is certain is that China will use the next 10 to 15 years to develop the requisite technical capabilities for conducting manned lunar missions and set the stage for space exploration.
The world is still celebrating the historic landing of China’s Chang’e-4 on the dark side of the moon on January 3. This week, China announced its plans to follow up with three more lunar missions, laying the groundwork for a lunar base.
Colonizing the Moon, and beyond, has always being a human aspiration. Technological advancements, and the discovery of a considerable source of water close to the lunar poles, has made this idea even more appealing.
But how close is China to actually achieving this goal? If we focus on the technology currently available, China could start building a base on the Moon today.
The first lunar base
The first lunar base would likely be an unmanned facility run by automated robotics—similar to Amazon warehouses—to ensure that the necessary infrastructures and support systems are fully operational before people arrive.
The lunar environment is susceptible to deep vacuum conditions, strong temperature fluctuations and solar radiation, among other conditions hostile to humans. More importantly, we have yet to fully understand the long term impact on the human body of being in space, and on the Moon.
Seeds taken to the Moon by the Chang’e-4 mission have now reportedly sprouted. This is the first time plants have been grown on the Moon, paving the way for a future food farm on the lunar base.
Building a lunar base is no different than building the first oil rig out in the ocean. The logistics of moving construction parts must be considered, feasibility studies must be conducted and, in this case, soil samples must be tested. China has taken the first step by examining the soil of the lunar surface. This is necessary for building an underground habitat and supporting infrastructure that will shield the base from the harsh surface conditions.
3D printed everything
Of all the possible technologies for building a lunar base, 3D printing offers the most effective strategy. 3D printing on Earth has revolutionized manufacturing productivity and efficiency, reducing both waste and cost.

A frightening video has emerged of a possible UFO sighting, revealing mysterious spinning lights and an eerie blue glow shining across the London night sky. The strange footage, taken in Leyton, east London, shows white dots of light spinning in a large circle behind a cloud and moving across the sky. A blue glow can also be seen beaming through the cloud, before the dots of light disperse. Dominic who filmed the footage panicked and can be heard saying: “That’s so weird.” Many Londoners took to Twitter on Saturday to speculate over the unearthly lights.
One user posted: “Strange lights over East London. I wonder what it could be?”
Another said: “Please tell me how there’s a ufo flying over my head #ufo #london”.
A third added: “Cool UFO over Walthamstow, Awesomestow, London”.
A fourth said: “Excuse me but what the f*** was this going across the sky growing etc…arm?!?! #London #UFO”.
Other Londoners came up with a possible explanation for the mysterious lights. One keen observer posted: “Thought I’d finally seen a proper #UFO I parked the car to film it and everything!
“However on closer inspection, it looks like someone in #Tottenham #London has a really big projector of sorts, could still see it for 2 miles.
“Is this coming from the new stadium @SpursOfficial?”
