• NBCUniversal has announced that the Peacock channel has ordered four episodes of a show entitled: “Unidentified with Demi Lovato”, focusing on the UFO phenomenon. The unscripted series will feature the pop music superstar and actress along with her sister Dallas, and Lovato’s best friend and ‘UFO skeptic’ Matthew. The trio will attempt to uncover the truth about UFOs while consulting leading experts, investigating eyewitness encounters, uncovering secret government reports, and conducting tests at known UFO hot spots.
• Lovato will also serve as executive producer for ‘Unidentified’, along with producers SB Projects and GoodStory Entertainment. This is in addition to another show ordered by NBCUniversal entitled “Hungry,” in which Lovato will also star and executive produce. In the show, friends who belong to a food issues group help each other as they look for love, success and the perfect thing in the fridge that’s going to make it all better.
• Lovato got her start in acting in the Disney Channel original film “Camp Rock” and its sequels, has appeared in multiple episodes of the “Will & Grace” revival, “Grey’s Anatomy”, “From Dusk Til Dawn: The Series”, and “Glee”. She also starred in the docuseries “Demi Lovato: Dancing With the Devil,” released earlier this year where she delved into her near-fatal drug overdose.
