Hollywood and the media industry in UFO disclosure

When asked by CNN’s Larry King on his TV show “Tell us what will happen if Obama wins?” the American entertainer Chis Rock responded, “I’m sure he will check to see if there are UFOs. That is what I would do. Where are the UFOs at?” Chris Rock is an American comedian, actor, screenwriter, television producer, film producer and director. He was voted by Comedy Central as the fifth greatest stand-up comedian of all time. He represents one of a many entertainers who believe in UFOS and  is speaking freely about it this year.

As a researcher of thirty years, I have never seen such interest in the UFO phenomena as I have seen this year on the part of Hollywood and the movie industry as well as rock stars. These people think UFOs are real. It seems that they have “ carried the ball down the court” more effectively in the disclosure movement than any of the veteran researchers have. They get instant media attention. They have more credibility. And like Nina Hagen from Germany, they are able to produce expensive television specials that reach millions of people in an instant. Most UFO documentaries produced up until now were considered “fringe entertainment”, science fiction or second-rate movies.

It was not until last February 2008, when Robbie Williams from the rock group “ Take That” walked into the International UFO congress in Laughlin Nevada, that I became astonished how people reacted to the celebrity presence. Since I am on the Board of Directors of the IUFOC, I welcomed Robbie and asked him why he was there. His answer was that he came to hear the lectures, in particular, the lectures of ex-British Ministry of Defense employee, Nick Pope and the lecture of contactee Ann Andrews.  He was dressed like Fidel Castro in order to avoid being noticed. But instead Robbie stood out in the crowd of 600 participants. He said he was hungry for information. He has since done many interviews, created songs about “aliens” and has received more publicity for the subject than astronomer and Blue Book director J. Allen Hyneck ever did. When I asked Robbie at another conference near San Francisco, California for an interview, he answered that he did not want to do an interview but he liked my book. He said that he preferred to listen to the information given by David Icke and the other speakers present. He wanted to “learn!“ He has a sincere desire to know.

So Robbie Williams believes in Aliens, so does Keanu Reeves. During the BFI 52nd London Film Festival at the Odeon West End on October 21, 2008 in London, England, Reeves said, “I’m sure there is life on other planets. It’s crazy to think extraterrestrials don’t exist. The actor starred in the sci-fi movie The Day The Earth Stood Still, and the filming experience left him wondering about alien beings. Reeves said, “I’ve met people who have seen UFOs but I don’t know anyone who has been abducted. How could there not be life on other planets? The universe is so vast.”

Well, Nina Hagen says she has been abducted in Los Angeles when she was very young. She did not consider it a very positive experience. I was surprised to see her and an entire German film crew outside of Roswell in the Hanger 84, originally known as Hanger p-3 where the alien bodies were stored. They had come to film the people during the Roswell Festival in 2008. She sought the advice of hypnotherapist researcher Yvonne Smith   Her book is called Chosen. Yvonne Smith was lecturing at the famous UFO museum in Roswell. When told that the cameras and lights were not welcome there, singer Nina Hagen simply sat down as Robbie Williams had done and she listened to Yvonne’s entire lecture on “Abductions.”

Robbie Williams, Nina Hagen, Chris Rock and later actress Shirley MacLaine in her book Aging While Saging spoke about UFOs, Colonel Philip Corso’s back-engineering testimony, and most detrimental of all, presidential candidate Dennis Kucinich’s close-up UFO sighting near Shirley’s house in New Mexico. This helped end Kucinich’s political career. In an interview with Matt Lauer co-anchor of NBC News’ Today Show, MacLaine spoke quite honestly about her views on the government cover-up. She received incredible publicity. Most of the cast of this NBC network show later admitted on screen that they believed that UFOs were real. Only Shirley MacLaine can do that.

But they can also sing about UFOs, or at least Exopolitics. The British Rock Group Muse has produced a song called Exopolitics that is getting a great deal of play. For those who still need a working definition of Exopolitics: It is a study dealing with the extraterrestrial presence on Earth and its sociological, as well as political, implications for humanity.

Elvis and John Lennon Knew

Elvis Presley in Concert. Photo: Paola Harris

Author Richard Daniel, on the 30-year death Anniversary of Elvis’ death, wrote, “We pause to take stock in the King’s abiding interest in UFOs. Because even if you’re a hardcore Presleyphile, you probably didn’t know Elvis was born beneath the light of a mysterious celestial object, in an eerie echo of the Star of Bethlehem. In the book” Alien Rock: The Rock ‘n’ Roll Extraterrestrial Connection” by New York author/promoter Michael C. Luckman, he talks about the numerous UFO encounters with Elvis, plus this claim that Elvis made to longtime friend Wanda June Hill: “I am not of this world.”

According to Luckman, quite a few famous musicians have had UFO experiences.

Craggy-faced rocker Mick Jagger is said to have seen two UFOs in the course of his life. One, a cigar-shaped “mothership,” appeared in 1968 while he was camping in Glastonbury with then girlfriend Marianne Faithful

Expert military witness in the Rendlesham Forest case, Larry Warren is a well-known lecturer on the international UFO conference scene and has co-authored a book called Left at East Gate with UFO researcher Peter Robbins. The book covers many of his UFO experiences along with the associated government and military cover-ups. Most famous among them is that of John Lennon. He speaks about Lennon in an article that he wrote about a mutual friend May Pang who was with John Lennon during a sighting in New York. He writes  “In the summer of 1988, I had a conversation with May Pang.  Larry Warren writes” John Lennon saw a UFO at his apartment in New York with his girlfriend May Pang. The object was cone-shaped, but flattened at the top, crowned with a steady red light, and featuring a row of smaller, pulsating white lights. It drew close to the amazed couple in their 17th floor apartment before passing on by. They managed to take some photographs of the object but all came out over-exposed.

Most notably, I saw the gold record presented to John Lennon for his introspective album “Walls and Bridges”, and it was this record that Lennon was recording when he had his amazing UFO sighting. Fourteen years had passed since the event, however, to May Pang, it was as if it had happened yesterday.

May Pang recalls that the apartment was hot that night, but by 8 O’ Clock the night air had cooled off enough for her to have turned off the air conditioning and opened the windows to get a breeze off the river. Just off the apartment’s living room was a part of the building’s roof that also acted as a private observation deck, with a great view of east New York. Access was only granted by climbing out of a window, which Lennon often did. The haze had now cleared over New York’s skyline. At about 8:30 p.m., May decided to take a shower, leaving Lennon alone in the living room reviewing mock-ups of his new record’s cover. What did surprise her was what he was pointing at. Just south of the building now was a brightly lit “classic” circular UFO, floating silently and less than 100 feet away from the couple. As John Lennon would later describe, “I wasn’t surprised to see the UFO really, as it looked just like the spaceships we’ve all seen on the cinema growing up, but then I realized this thing was real and so close, that I could almost touch it!” As they watched, the UFO moved silently away. May told me that the lighting on the thing left them awe-struck, as it would change its configuration with every rotation. The object made no sound. The main structure of the craft could also be clearly seen for the duration of the event, due to the last remnants of the still setting sun. May ran back into the apartment and grabbed a 35mm camera, and once back on the roof both she and John took numerous pictures of the craft. May remembers John’s arms outstretched as he yelled at the UFO to come back and take him away! “He was very serious and I believe he really wanted that thing to take him with it back to wherever it came from, but then that was John Lennon, always looking for the next big adventure”. Soon the object passed the United Nations building and slowly veered left, crossing over the East River, then over Brooklyn and soon the UFO simply blended in with the heavy commercial air traffic in southern Long Island. John Lennon and May Pang, were both shaken by the experience. John Lennon also felt that the craft he saw was part of a much larger fleet stationed just north of New York city, up in the area of the nuclear power plant at Indian Point.

Maybe Steven Spielberg will begin some move towards disclosure in Hollywood. In an Actor’s studio interview in the late nineties when a young girl asked him if he believed in aliens, he responded:“ Yes! I do believe in Aliens.” Spielberg has made many films addressing this issue, both positive and negative. It all started with Close Encounters of The Third Kind. Ironically, he is also quoted as having said :

If  NASA took the time to write me a 20-page letter, then I knew there must be something happening. When they read the [Close Encounters] script, they got very angry and felt that it was a film that would be dangerous.

In the end, we are of Star Trek generation. There are millions of Trekies Internationally, in every country. They see some truth in this series. Maybe because its creator Gene Roddenberry “ built a bridge to tomorrow with the materials of today: curiosity, tolerance openness, intelligence, discipline, daydreams, a willingness to help, technology, love determination and courage. All those things exist within us. He said use them!”

Did you know there an asteroid called 4659 Roddenberry and a crater on Mars that were named in his honor? Our celebrities count a great deal in this world.

So will President Obama step up to the plate as Chris Rock suggested? In the words of Gene Roddenberry:

“ I have a great fear that our human leaders will fail to understand that a world such as Star Trek is possible, that all the glorious things- not that Star Trek represents but the human being represents- will fall on deaf ears. That frightens me. There is always the chance that not enough humans will understand and appreciate themselves enough to make a great change in the human equation.” (From the book: The Last Conversation by Yvonne Fern: University of California Press: Berkley)

“Jeff Peckman, promoter of Initiative 300 to create and Extraterrestrial Affairs Commission in Denver, talked to May Pang at a Denver event about her UFO sighting with John Lennon. She said that many more people were asking about the incident again.”

The activism of the  exopolitical disclosure cluture which includes TV is accelerating. Jeff Peckman’s Denver Initiative 300 to address the Extraterrestrial issue coincides  nicely with the debut of NBC’s “The Event.” Voters will need to reflect and decide! Before them, they have a historical as well as a formidable task.

George Adamski: A Herald for the Space Brothers – Book Review

George Adamski: A Herald for the Space Brothers is a refreshing look at the first and most famous contactee of the modern era. In the early 1950s, George Adamski stunned the world with his extraordinary stories of meetings and travels with human looking extraterrestrials from planets within our own solar system. He traveled all over the world relating his personal experiences and the esoteric ‘space philosophies’ explained to him. Adamski was invited by many influential VIPs to give first hand accounts of the “space brothers” as he described the extraterrestrial visitors. The author, Gerard Aartsen, takes an unconventional approach to writing this book about Adamski. He does not present new evidence or testimonies to settle the long standing controversies surrounding Adamski’s claims. Instead, Aartsen presents personal information about Adamski’s early life and travels to give a fresh new perspective of Adamski as someone who was “a visionary teacher who was far ahead of the small minds that were waging a cold war” against him (xi). Adamski’s experiences with the “space brothers” according to Aartsen, are merely an unfolding of a mission and philosophy that Adamski had already well embarked upon earlier in his life.

The most tragic early life experience for Adamski was the death of his Polish father not long after emigrating to the U.S. with his Egyptian born wife, and the then four year old Adamski. Luckily, a mysterious tall dark family friend called Sid, took it upon himself to mentor the young Adamski who received private tuition. “Uncle Sid”, as he became affectionately known to the family, proposed that Adamski would benefit from further education in Tibet in “a monastery of Lamas. (p.22)” Adamski’s mother readily agreed with Uncle Sid’s unusual proposal. At the significant age of 12, the age when most rites of passage are performed for young men, Adamski was taken to Tibet. He spent somewhere between three to six years learning Buddhist philosophy at the hands of Tibetan Lamas, and/or “Masters of Wisdom” as Aartsen describes them. Who was “Uncle Sid” that would provide for Adamski’s expenses and guidance for such an unconventional formative childhood education? According to Aartsen, and unknown to Adamski, Uncle Sid was himself one of the space brothers that Adamski would later famously meet and befriend in 1952.

After his return from Tibet to the U.S. Adamski had acquired some very unconventional abilities from his time with his Tibetan teachers who taught him to “master the four elements: fire, water, air and earth” (p. 22). His newly acquired abilities were demonstrated to some Adamski trusted, but Adamski played down such abilities as insignificant compared to the philosophy he had learned in Tibet. Aartsen cites another author Henry Dohan who explained further Adamski’s reasoning: “the people who were around Adamski and who knew of his unusual powers were asked to keep it a secret. Adamski thought it would prejudice his prestige as a teacher, as people would take him for a magician” (p. 22).

Some time in this period of the 1930’s Adamski established the “Royal Order of Tibet” and a monastery at Laguna Beach, California. He therefore became one of the first people in the U.S. to teach esoteric practices and philosophy that had been learned at first hand from Tibetan Lamas. Adamski’s first book followed soon after in 1936 and was titled Wisdom of the Masters of the Far East. In it he elaborated on what he had learned in Tibet which he summarized in a 1934 interview with the Los Angeles Times where he said: “I learned great truths up there on the roof of the world, or rather the trick of applying age-old knowledge to daily life, to cure the body and the mind and to win mastery over self and soul” (p. 23).

So Adamski was clearly no opportunist who had conjured up a philosophy and established a cult around himself. He was in contrast, someone who had spent his formative childhood years directly learning with some of the world’s greatest teachers of esoteric practices and philosophies in Tibet. This is perhaps Aartsen’s greatest contribution in his book. Most critics of Adamski ignore or downplay the very significant experiences and teachings Adamski had acquired while in Tibet as a youngster. Instead, they launch into character assassinations where Adamski is portrayed as a self-promoting cultist who had no formal training for the esoteric practices and philosophies he was teaching. In contrast, Adamski’s childhood training and education was the ideal training for what he taught and practiced later in life.

In the late 1940’s and early 1950’s, Adamski began taking photos of UFOs, or flying saucers as they were known at the time. His flying saucer photos were among the finest ever taken and showed various types of craft – long cyclinder motherships, spheres of light, and the famous scout craft photos. Aartsen explains the famous 1952 Desert Center encounter with one of the space brothers. Orthon claimed to be from Venus and eventually Adamski would be taken to motherships from extraterrestrials from Venus and Saturn. Adamski claimed to have met on this motherships, Masters of Wisdom from both Venus and Saturn.

Aartsen describes the controversy arising from later NASA space probes showing extreme environmental conditions on Venus and Saturn that made human life as we know it impossible. While information from the early NASA missions was used to discredit Adamski’s claims of human life on other planets in our solar system, one thing that was overlooked was that life could exist on different dimensions. According to modern day string theory, as explained by Professor Michio Kaku, there are up to ten dimensions contained in space-time. So in the same space and time, one could encounter non-hospital life conditions in one dimension, and a flourishing civilization in another. Arguably, flourishing civilizations exist on Venus and Saturn today, but on a dimension that cannot be yet identified by scientific instruments.

Prior to Adamski’s death on April 23, 1965, Aartsen relates how Adamski promised that he would return as a young man to continue his earth mission. In an obituary, Lord Desmond Leslie, part of an English-Irish aristocratic family and co-author of Adamski’s first non-fiction book wrote: “I don’t believe by any means we have seen the last of him. If he is reborn on another planet, he has promised to come back and contact us when possible. (p. 28)” Incredibly, one day after his death, an Englishman by the name of Earnest Arthur Bryant had a contact experience with three extraterrestrials allegedly from Venus. Among them was one that the Englishmen remembered as being around 14 to 15 years old, Bryant wrote: “The youth appeared to be the leader of the group. He was more free and easy than the other two. ‘My name is Yamski’ he said (or at least sounded something like that). I was under the impression he was a Russian, except that he had a tendency towards an American accent, but when I asked where they had come from the reply was, ‘We are from Venus.’ Perhaps it was the look on my face, he turned to the others and said, ‘If only Des Les were here, he would understand.’ (p. 29)

Remarkably, the Venusian youth, ‘Yamski’ (a reincarnated Adamski?) went on to describe ‘Des Les’ in terms that made it clear he was referring to Adamski’s long time friend, Desmond Leslie. Incredibly, Bryant swore had no prior knowledge of George Adamski, let alone that he had died one day earlier.

Years later there was another incident that also seemed to fulfill Adamski’s promise of returning to Earth to help humanity accept the space brothers. An Italian contactee by the name of Giorgio Dibitonto claimed that in 1980 he and his companions met a young man from Venus whose name was George. Dibitonto described how a Venusian by the name of Raphael introduced him: “another man was introduced to us … ‘His name is George, said Raphael… This, our brother, lived for a while on Earth, where he chose to come on an assignment. Now he has returned to us” (p. 32).

Aartsen’s book will not satisfy the hardcore skeptic about the veracity of Adamski’s claims of contact with extraterrestrials from different planets of our solar system. Aartsen does, however, give important new insights into Adamski’s life and philosophy. For this reviewer, Adamski’s extended education in Tibet stands out as something out of the ordinary, and in itself a remarkable preparation for an extraordinary life. Adamski had certainly acquired experiences, philosophies and abilities that would later stand him in good stead as he confronted a skeptical world with his extraordinary claims of extraterrestrial contact. The best presentation of evidence supporting Adamski’s contactee claims is documented in a video which only recently resurfaced.

Aartsen’s succeeds admirably with his main aim of presenting information Adamski’s life, experiences and philosophy that many would not have known about. For this reader, George Adamski: Herald of the Space Brothers, is an open honest appraisal of someone who forever changed how our world would view extraterrestrial life. The idea of the benevolent human looking “space brothers” here to help educate and guide humanity has still not lost its appeal. This is despite the almost propagandist onslaught of non-human looking extraterrestrials abducting civilians for genetic experiments as portrayed by the mass media and many UFO researchers. Whether one agrees or not with Adamski’s contactee claims, what’s clear is that his childhood education in Tibet had prepared him well for the extraordinary events and teachings that he would later come to be known for around the world.

Mary Rodwell RN – Landmark USA – UK Speaking Tour.

 Mary Rodwell RN

Available NOW for media interviews ahead of her landmark US-UK tour

She’s affectionately known as Australia’s “Alien Lady” – one of the world’s most sought after and respected experts on all things to do with the UFO phenomena. But there’s much more to Mary Rodwell than meets the eye. A former midwife and nurse, grief counsellor, clinical hypnotherapist, author, narrator, documentary director and loving grandmother, in 1997 she founded ACERN – the Australian Close Encounter Resource Network, the largest organisation of its type specialising in helping alien abduction victims deal with their traumas with the backing of qualified GP’s, psychologists and therapists.

To date, ACERN has supported some 1,600 cases of ET encounters worldwide from countries including the US, Japan, Russia. All are ordinary people – mums and dads, children, nurses, doctors, police, psychologists, lawyers, teachers and farmers – but with an extraordinary story to tell. Says Mary: “For those with encounter experiences, my work offers them validation and an understanding in their own personal journey as well as the opportunity to share their experiences with others”.

A compelling raconteur with controversial subject matter, Mary Rodwell has previously been invited to speak at Oxford University in England as well as at UFO symposiums in Hong Kong, USA, UK, Canada, Ireland and New Zealand. In 2006, she joined the Former Canadian Defence Minister, Paul Hellyer at the World Peace Conference in Hawaii to call for greater understanding of the UFO phenomena and compile an historic mission statement on Exopolitics, the political implications of an extraterrestrial presence.

Now the former Brit from Staffordshire, England who today resides in Agnes Water in central Queensland is in demand again. This time for a landmark US-UK speaking tour in which she will address organisations including the National Press Club in Washington, DC and the prestigious International Institute of Integral Human Sciences (IIIHS), a non-governmental organisation affiliated with the United Nations. Both events are testament to the world’s mounting interest and increasing maturity in the UFO-ET phenomena.

Explains Mary of her unprecedented access to UFO-ET experiencers: “It is a huge responsibility for me to speak on behalf of so many thousands who are experiencing encounters. I am just a normal everyday woman who just happened to be exposed to the most amazing and incredible of human experiences. To be part of an historic expose with courageous individuals who are prepared to put themselves and their lives on the line and face potential ridicule is very humbling and a great honour”.

Mary’s fascinating topics of discussion include:

· Her previous career in England as a nurse and midwife and how extraordinary stories from patients forced her to seriously examine the UFO and alien abduction phenomenon

· Alien abduction based on ACERN’s 1,600 case studies worldwide – What happens when someone is abducted? Where do they go? What do they see? What do aliens look like? What lasting effects are there on those who are “taken”? How can you overcome the trauma?

· Hard evidence on the existence of UFOs including implants recovered from alien abductees

· Historical evidence of UFO’s in paintings and indigenous drawings

· How world governments have the ability to produce free energy thanks to reverse engineering from alien technology – and why they won’t use it

· Her theories on genetics and how aliens have manipulated and altered human DNA

· The Star Children or Indigo Children – examples of kids the world over with exceptional abilities which Mary says are the direct result of alien genetic interference

Says Mary to the sceptics: “Over 78 % of people in a recent US Poll believed we are not alone in the Universe. On a daily basis we are shown video footage and photographs of craft by the cart load from credible people from all over the world. Military whistleblowers confirm they have seen craft and also shot down UFO’s. Astronauts including Edgar Mitchell admitted to seeing craft and even Presidents Jimmy Carter and Ronald Reagan had their own personal encounters. Just recently Miyuki Hatoyama, the wife of Japan’s premier-in-waiting Yukio Hatoyama claimed to have ridden in a “triangular-shaped UFO”.

In addition to her work as an alien abduction counsellor and international speaker, Mary Rodwell is also a respected clinical hypnotherapist and metaphysical teacher. Following her many years in counselling and hypnosis, she has produced and voiced six collections of mind, body and spirit meditational CDs in association with internationally award-winning composer, David Sandercock, B.Mus. (Hons.), L.Mus. From the Inner Alchemy, which explores our body’s secret healing powers to Take Ten, quickie meditations for busy people and Natural Mother, a pregnancy body and soul workout, Mary and David’s CD’s are popular sellers in retail outlets all around Australia.

Previously, Mary Rodwell has appeared on programmes including The Oz Files (Australian documentary series); The Paranormal Files (BBC Television); Animal X (Cryptozoological series on Animal Planet and Discovery Channel); George Negus Tonight Programme (ABC Australia); BBC radio (Birmingham); Today Tonight (Current Affairs programme, Seven Network, Australia). Her work has also been featured in the Australian Doctor Focus Magazine, a prestigious Australian medical journal.

Invisible Residents – Ivan T Sanderson

By Neil Gould.

Invisible Residents, written by Ivan T. Sanderson, in 1970, with a forward by David Hatcher Childress, (the real live Indiana Jones).

A prolific UFO investigator during the sixties and seventies, a Zoologist by profession with experience in the Navy, was best suited to examine anomalous reports on physical objects both at sea and in the sky.

Ivan’s interest was in USO’s, under water submergible objects. The book examines cases, as far back as the 1600’s. Sanderson states two thought provoking conundrums, firstly, if it is not physical, it is not real, but then electricity is not physical and secondly that we do not have the vaguest notion of what is 100ft beneath our land and sea and nothing of Hydrospace. There in begins his journey, churning out many a mystery for the reader to take stock of his own reality.

Sanderson states that over 50% of UFO’s are of an aquatic nature. He separates the phenomena into, those that use rivers, lakes and fresh water, lochs, gulfs or steep sided mountain edges where bases could have been built by ET’s, ancient humans or the military in the deep oceans.

Planes arrived at their destinations faster than they could fly. Ships with dead or no crew, here Sanderson calculates the odds of foul play. Clearly some deaths are ET related, when a dead dog is found on deck, stiff as nails in a growling position as if frozen in its last moment. This is the Bermuda triangle, where Sanderson himself experienced various anomalies.

The book investigates many a ships log from hundreds of years ago, which predates the current truth embargo. Evidence is such that readers are left to conclude that some comets falling into the sea without a splash are intelligent objects; not of this earth. He coins the terms UAO or under water aquatic objects.

Aeronautical engineers analyze a small North Columbian golden artifact in the shape of a plane. It appears to have been an object capable of vertical flight as well as flight underwater. The problem is that it is 1000 years old.

Interaction with Military and Navy officials clearly shows the extent of the UFO cover-up during the 1960’s.

Sanderson’s profession as a biologist enabled him to analyze Thor Hyderdahls encounters with objects just below the surface. He could discern a whale from submerged vessel and luminescence from phosphorescence. He concludes that pulsing electro-magnetic waves could account for some blinking luminescence seen in aquatic bacteria.

In summing up, readers are left spellbound when Sanderson drops his bombshell describing the possible existence of OINT’S (other invisible intelligences). He puts into perspective the Earth’s water capacity at 25% and land capacity at 75% (not to mention it habitable volume). He adds that we humans carry our salt water on land within our bodies; we are not as old as the sea creatures that could be twice or more evolved that we are. Then again, he hits us with the obvious… Welding, building and tunneling can be done underwater?
