South Korean Hanwha Aerospace Gets in on Space Business

Article by Park Si-soo                                     March 1, 2021                                       (spacenews.com)

• Hanwha Aerospace, the leading aircraft engine producer in South Korea with annual revenue of 5.32 trillion won (or $4.7 trillion US), is doing its best to position itself to become a major player in the new global space industry. The 37 year old Harvard educated architect of Hanwha’s space business strategy, Kim Dong-kwan, formed a “space task force” last year involving about 10 officials from Hanwha Aerospace, Hanwha Systems and Hanwha Corporation to advance and expand its technology for satellites and rocket boosters; satellite equipment and antennas; launch pads and solid fuel.

• In January, Hanwha won a 30% controlling stake in South Korean satellite maker, Satrec Initiative (SI) to produce small and medium-size Earth-observation satellites, ground systems and electro-optical payloads on Korean soil. In a statement, Hanwha said its investment in SI is to “possess core technologies related to the space satellite industry, which is expected to grow in the New Space era, and in the medium to long-term, preempt technological advance through synergy with the company to secure the capability of the satellite development technology.” For SI’s part, SI President Kim Ee-eul said the deal “provides the financial resources and strategic partnership that we can leverage for further growth.”

• While South Korea has been prohibited from developing solid-fueled launch vehicles by a bilateral nonproliferation agreement with the U.S. focused on ballistic missiles, last July the country won US permission to conduct research and to develop solid-propellant rockets, opening the door to Hanwha and other South Korean companies to enter the market.

• In December 2020, Hanwha Systems formed a strategic partnership with U.S.-based satellite communications company Kymeta. Hanwha plans to invest $30 million US into the development of Kymeta’s next-generation low Earth orbit antennas so it can “enter the LEO satellite antenna market early on, and diversify our technology portfolio,” said Hanwha Systems CEO Kim Youn-chul.

• In June 2020, Hanwha Systems acquired British satellite antenna developer Phasor Solutions, adding cutting-edge satellite communication antenna technology to its portfolio including “broadband electronically steerable antennas, that enable high-speed communications in-flight, at sea, or on land.” Phasor’s proprietary technologies include flat-antenna-beam steering and semiconductor chip-design technology.

SEOUL, South Korea — Hanwha Aerospace, the leading aircraft engine producer in

         Kim Dong-kwan

South Korea, is stepping up efforts to expand its space business.

In the latest move, Hanwha struck a 109 billion won ($96.8 million) deal in January to win a controlling 30 percent stake in a domestic satellite maker, Satrec Initiative (SI), by the end of April. Established in 1999 by engineers who contributed to making the nation’s first satellite KITSAT-1, SI is credited with developing core technologies to produce small and medium-size Earth-observation satellites, ground systems and electrooptical payloads on Korean soil.

Hanwha said while SI would be managed independently, Kim Dong-kwan — the first son of Hanwha Group chairman Kim Seung-youn and president of the group’s chemical affiliate, Hanwha Solutions — would join SI as a non-standing executive director to facilitate cooperation between the two companies.

In a statement, Hanwha said its investment in SI is to “possess core technologies related to the space satellite industry, which is expected to grow in the New Space era, and in the medium to long-term, preempt technological advance through synergy with the company to secure the capability of the satellite development technology.”

In a separate statement, SI President Kim Ee-eul said the deal “provides the financial resources and strategic partnership that we can leverage for further growth.” Kim added SI will “expand business to proactively respond to the growing domestic and international demands on Synthetic Aperture Radar and infrared satellite systems as well as optical satellite systems.”

After the deal was announced, SI hired 17 new engineers including those experienced in satellite design and developing synthetic aperture radar (SAR), according to SI.

World’s First Space Hotel to Open in 2027

March 4, 2021                                     (bbc.co.uk)

• Orbital Assembly Corporation is planning a space station “hotel” called Voyager Station with 400 guest rooms, viewing platforms, a cinema, a spa, and a gym with a low-gravity basketball court. Construction on the hotel will begin in 2025 and it will begin to accommodate guests in 2027. Inspired by a “spaceship of the future”, the hotel will also have 3D holograms, digital wall art, a digitally interactive tables and robots.

• The space station will be designed to accommodate both national space agencies conducting low gravity research and space tourists who want to experience life on a large space station with the comfort of low gravity and the feel of a nice hotel. The hotel will spin to create artificial gravity as it travels around the Earth at about 1/6th of the Earth’s gravity – which is the same level of gravity found on the Moon.

• The hotel will cruise around the Earth once every 90 minutes, at about 1,200 miles up. Guests at the hotel will not require any astronaut training. But the trips to space won’t come cheap. Despite the price, the hotel’s website says that guest will have the most comfortable stay possible in space, complete with working toilets.

• “Historically, a trip to space cost up to $25 million and that resulted in staying in a Zero-G facility, using vacuums for toilets, sleeping in a bag strapped to a wall, and living in a laboratory,” the website says. Artificial gravity means guests can enjoy normal “toilet facilities, showers, and beds that function similar to what you are used to on Earth”.

Do you want to go travelling to see the world when you’re older? But what if you could see the whole world in one go…?

That might be possible in just six years, when the first ever space hotel is expected to open.

Floating in low-orbit, guests will be able to see the Earth as they move around the planet.

The hotel, called Voyager Station, will have enough rooms for 400 guests, viewing platforms to see the Earth below, a cinema, a spa and a gym – including a basketball court where players can use low gravity for a slam-dunk the professionals would be proud of!

Inspired by a “spaceship of the future”, the hotel will also have 3D holograms, digital wall art, a digitally interactive table and robots.

Orbital Assembly Corporation (OAC), the company behind the idea, say building the hotel will begin in 2025 with plans for it to open its doors, or in this case air-lock hatches, in 2027.

“The station will be designed from the start to accommodate both national space agencies conducting low gravity research and space tourists who want to experience life on a large space station with the comfort of low gravity and the feel of a nice hotel,” OAC says.

What will the space hotel be like?

The hotel will spin as it travels around the Earth to create artificial gravity.

Onboard the gravity will be about a sixth of that found on Earth, which is the same level of gravity found on the Moon.

European Defense Industry Cracking Down on UFO and ET Discussion

Article by Joe Martino                                          March 1, 2021                                         (collective-evolution.com)

• There is now a rapidly building culture within governments of taking control of public narratives that are ‘controversial’. The European Commission’s Defence Industry and Space (DEFIS), announced that it will begin to crack down on online discussion relating to the ‘flat earth’, UFOs, and aliens, as they feel this is harmful disinformation. They intend on working within the EU Digital Services Act to put a censorship plan in place in the coming months. But who decides what is disinformation and what isn’t? How will the public even know what is being censored and what is not?

• There has been a veil of secrecy around the UFO subject for years. Governments deny what their own intelligence communities know to be real. When the US Navy released UFO videos a couple of years ago, people began to realize that a subject long ridiculed was in fact heavily studied by governments, even as authorities pretended nothing was there. How long might the government lie about other pieces of UFO/ET information before they admit it was true all along?

• What about evidence of ET bodies? We have credible whistleblowers from institutions who have stated unequivocally that government knows about different ET species and even has ET bodies in custody. Does the public trust them? Or are we too busy protecting our existing worldview to take an honest and unbiased look?

• It’s no secret that in recent years, many people have been losing trust in government and mainstream media due to a lack of transparency, ulterior agendas, and consistent lies. People have begun to look elsewhere for different perspectives. Independent media has gained a lot more influence when it comes to informing public perception. Those with a monopoly on information might not be too happy about this.

• The ‘flat earthers’ claim that the fact that the earth is flat is the biggest secret kept from humanity. YouTube channels popped up on the subject, documentaries were made, and even major NBA and pop culture influencers were on board. But it couldn’t be taken seriously, right? Is it possible that subjects like this are intentionally seeded out into the collective consciousness by intelligence agencies just to muddy the waters? Was it given so much algorithmic power on social media so that those manipulators of the narrative could point at it and say: “see, look what happens when people talk online, they believe crazy things.”

• This manipulation of the public conversation is exemplified by the ‘QAnon’ phenomenon. Was there a secret group of patriots working to inform the public that Trump and his team were poised to take down an evil cabal that ran the world? Leading up to the 2020 US election, mainstream media covered it constantly to insinuate that anyone who believed in Q was an unhinged, crazy, conspiracy theorist with sociopathic tendencies. Would it matter if there were actual evidence to support the controversial conversations people were having? It would appear no, it didn’t matter. The media culture has rendered all of these subjects as synonymous with extreme and unfounded views, and labeled as “crazy” anyone who doubted COVID and vaccines or believed in QAnon, UFOs, and aliens. This was extended to outright disavowing the Q movement and the election fraud narrative in order to prevent these sociopathic QAnons from shooting up Capitol Hill.

• QAnon has become a useful tool for widespread media censorship. But the fact is that some “conspiracies” are indeed real and the government does indeed lie to us. Still, other conspiracies are flat out false. This intentional ambiguity takes away from the legitimate information that needs to see the light of day. We have to be more discerning and critical in our thinking. If we aren’t careful as a culture, big tech and governments will work to shut down any inquiry into ‘fringe’ topics.

• Social media sites that have been labeled as ‘crazy QAnon people’ or ‘flat earthers’ are being shut down or demonetized en masse. It doesn’t matter that the subject is approached in a credible, evidence-based manner. They are guilty by association. Is it possible that powerful mainstream social engineers purposefully focus on extreme topics in order to bring down all of the other ‘uncontrollable’ conversations, such as UFOs, in the process? The extreme subjects act as a magnet to suck all ‘sound-alike’ conversations into the abyss of censorship. Should we be thinking more critically about which conspiracies are real and worth supporting and which are not, so that this mass cancel culture doesn’t cancel ALL of our conversation?

In a recent tweet from the European Commission’s Defense Industry and Space (DEFIS), they claimed they will begin to crack down on online discussion relating to Flat Earth, UFOs, and Aliens as they feel there is disinformation permeating all sectors of our society when it comes to these subjects. They intend on working with the EU Digital Services Act to put a plan in place in the coming months.

Who knows what their plan will look like when it’s ready, but it falls in line with a rapidly building culture within government of taking mass control of narratives that are controversial and important to the general public. In the process, government and mainstream media seem to be the only ones allowed to have a voice anyone can hear.

At first glance, the move by DEFIS might seem a useful tactic, after all there is disinformation being spread about all of these topics. But who decides what is disinformation and what isn’t? What if information is in fact real and suddenly that content is ‘censored’ in the wide net that is cast to stop this apparent problem? How will the public even know what is being censored and what is not? Will this push control over who can talk about and disseminate ‘facts’ about these topics to mainstream media and government only?

       Joe Martino of Collective-Evolution

Before we might jump into the idea that my questions above may come from a paranoid mind, let’s look at the facts.

There has been a long held veil of secrecy around the UFO subject for years. Governments deny realities that their own intelligence communities know are real. With the recent US Navy UFO videos that were released a couple of years ago, people began to realize that a subject long ridiculed was in fact heavily studied by governments, even as they pretended as if nothing was there. This caused a huge resurgence in a fascinating topic that deeply touches the very worldviews that inspire how we design and live our lives.

In 2017 when we all saw the US Navy footage released, did it not suggest that perhaps the US government had known about this phenomenon for decades? How long might government lie about other pieces of information related to the UFO topic before they come out saying it was true all along? Like they did in 2019, confirming the Navy footage was authentic.

Let’s take a quick look at the next obvious question people ask when thinking about a UFO sighting: “Who is manning that craft? A human? An ET? Is it remote controlled?”

Ex-Detroit Lion Nate Burleson Shares UFO Story

Article by John Maakaron                                             March 4, 2021                                            (si.com)

• On March 4th, former Detroit Lions wide receiver Nate Burleson (pictured above) shared an online video about seeing a UFO in 2013. “My wife and I went on a date night. We went to an Asian-American fusion restaurant. I had the Chilean sea bass. She had the sushi,” writes Burleson. “Around 10:30, 11 p.m. I’m driving home. I see some lights off in the distance. I’m like, ‘Why are those helicopters so close to each other and why are they just sitting there?’ Maybe about five or ten miles away, I keep driving and I see more lights pop up.”

• “I’m like, yo those ain’t helicopters. I hop out of the car. These lights I saw first. These lights I saw second,” says Burleson. “Here’s where I hopped out of the car? I had a HTC touch phone. I start recording. The lights hit a zigzag formation — floating. Zero sound. Jaw dropped. I’m bugging out. My wife’s like, ‘Get in the car.’ I’m like, ‘Nah, nah, Nah, I’ve got to see this.”

• Burleson continues, “Then they hit like a squiggly line formation. I’m tripping. Mind you, this is five to ten miles away — zero sound, elevating off the ground. And then they just drop to like like a cloud height — just drop and they’re just sitting there. And then poof, they take off into the distance.”

• “I’ve always known that aliens exist, says Burleson. “I had never seen UFOs. I saw one that night. And that’s the truth. I mean, you got to be foolish to think that we are the only beings in existence. I mean, just dated all the way back to hieroglyphics. They were telling us that the writing’s on the wall, literally… The question is, are they among us?”

             Nate and Atoya Burleson

Sometimes, you just have to let the story tell itself.

Former Detroit Lions wide receiver Nate Burleson shared a story online Thursday of coming across an unidentified flying object back in 2013.

The best way to tell this tale is to allow the talented television personality to tell it himself.

According to Burleson, “It was early 2013. It was after the season. I was playing with the Detroit Lions. My wife and I went on a date night.

We went to an Asian-American fusion restaurant. I had the Chilean sea bass. She had the sushi.

I remember it because — what a night it was.

Around 10:30, 11 p.m. I’m driving home. I see some lights off in the distance. I’m like, ‘Why are those helicopters so close to each other and why are they just sitting there?’

Cleveland Browns QB Baker Mayfield and Wife See UFO

Article by J.R. De Groote                                                March 4, 2021                                               (heavy.com)

• On March 4th, on their way home after an evening out in Austin, Texas, Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield (pictured above) and his wife Emily tweeted that they had seen a UFO. “Almost 100%, Em and I just saw a UFO drop straight out of the sky on our way home from dinner,” Mayfield tweeted. “We stopped and looked at each other and asked if either of us saw it. Very bright ball of light going straight down out of the sky towards Lake Travis. Anybody else witness this?”

• Emily Mayfield tweeted: “What. Was. That. In. Austin. Texas.” “I won’t lie… I’m typically not someone who buys into UFO talk. But all I know is… I saw something tonight that I have never seen. And I’m a little thrown off.”

               Baker and Emily Mayfield

Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield and his wife Emily were left puzzled after a late-night incident where they allegedly saw an unidentified flying object. The two shared their thoughts on Twitter following the UFO sighting, asking those in the Austin, Texas area for information.

“Almost 100%, Em and I just saw a UFO drop straight out of the sky on our way home from dinner,” Baker Mayfield wrote. “We stopped and looked at each other and asked if either of us saw it. Very bright ball of light going straight down out of the sky towards Lake Travis. Anybody else witness this?”

Emily Mayfield seemed equally confused by the situation.

“What. Was. That. In. Austin. Texas,” she wrote in her first tweet, following it up with another. “I won’t lie… I’m typically not someone who buys into UFO talk. But all I know is… I saw something tonight that I have never seen. And I’m a little thrown off.”

Supersoldiers & Extraterrestrial Agreements: Interview with Elena Danaan on Death of Stephen Chua

In this Exopolitics Today Podcast, I interview Elena Danaan about the death of Stephen Chua, a supersoldier from Singapore who only a week earlier had given his first public interview about his training and military experiences. Elena discusses Stephen’s sudden death on March 3, 2021, and the international organization he had belonged to that arranged for him and other supersoldiers to perform a variety of duties involving extraterrestrial life on Earth.

Our interview covers historic agreements reached by world leaders with extraterrestrial life, and how these are upheld by a cadre of highly trained supersoldiers. Interview is available on Rumble and YouTube.

After publication of our interview, Elena received a copy of Stephen Chua’s autopsy report from his family. Cause of death was described as kidney failure. According to Elena, “This is NOT explaining his blackouts, nose bleedings and wounds appearing on his legs.”

The family also sent Elena a copy of a military ID Stephen had from the Singapore military from 1981. This will greatly assist investigation of Stephen’s incredible claims and experiences.

A Rosetta Stone From the Aztec UFO Crash

Article by Donald Burleson and Christina Stock                                             March 1, 2021                                         (rdrnews.com)

• On March 25, 1948, a large disk-shaped object crashed near Aztec, New Mexico. One of the civilian scientists called in to study the craft was physicist J. Robert Oppenheimer (“father of the atomic bomb”). Oppenheimer examined a “sort of book” found inside the UFO, consisting of plastic-like pages filled with strange symbols that looked something like (Hindu) Sanskrit. Since nobody could make any sense of those symbols, they were sent to prominent cryptanalyst William F. Friedman to decipher.

• When trying to decipher an ancient writing, cryptanalyst attempt to develop a ‘ Rosetta Stone’, or a piece of the writing that they can actually decipher and then apply it to other writings. In 1799, engineers deployed by French emperor Napoléon Bonaparte discovered a Rosetta Stone writing of ancient hieroglyphic. A few years later, linguist Jean-François Champollion matched the message in the hieroglyphic to an Egyptian demotic script. The Egyptian script matched up to a classical Greek script well-known to scholars. By examining these parallel inscriptions, Champollion was finally able to read the hieroglyphics, determining that they involved not only pictographs but also elements of phonetic writing, where names were spelled out according to their sound.

• This is the sort of process that Friedman would need to employ in order to break the writing on the plastic book found in the Aztec UFO, where the mystery wasn’t an ancient Earth language with which we had lost contact, but a language from another world. Were the symbols in the Aztec book just pictographs or did they have phonetic qualities too? Did the language contain affixes to show different forms and tenses of verbs?

• If Friedman was able to determine anything from that analysis, the results are still classified and we may never know. Perhaps the Aztec book itself may have proven to be a UFO Rosetta Stone, helping illuminate a language from realms unknown.

[Editor’s Note]   While the 1947 Roswell NM crashes (two of them at the same time) and the 1950 Farmington NM ‘UFO Armada’ are well publicized, the 1948 Aztec NM UFO crash was ‘debunked’ at the time and well-hidden from the public. Is this be because the Aztec ‘crash’ was more of a controlled landing where the sixteen small humanoid beings died of some sort of exposure, relatively preserving the craft and beings for study by the Air Force? It is also said that the beings were from Venus and the craft contained a number of human-like babies that the ET beings may have been “seeding” by giving them to Earth families to raise, as Nikola Tesla claimed he himself had been. And was the nearby Farmington NM multi-day ‘UFO Armada’ these same ET beings looking for their missing craft a couple of years later?

When a large disk-shaped object crashed on March 25, 1948 near Aztec, New Mexico, one of the civilian scientists called in to study

               J. Robert Oppenheimer

the craft was physicist J. Robert Oppenheimer. He examined a “sort of book” found inside the UFO, consisting of plastic-like pages filled with strange symbols that Oppenheimer said looked something like Sanskrit.

According to researchers — since nobody could make any sense of those symbols — they were sent to prominent cryptanalyst William F. Friedman for an attempt at decipherment. If Friedman was able to determine anything from that analysis, the results are still classified.

         William F. Friedman

Strictly speaking, the problem was not one of trying to decode a message deliberately enciphered for purposes of secrecy, but rather the problem of reading a text in an unknown language. However, the two problems sometimes amount to practically the same thing, in terms of what one needs to do to solve them.

What was needed was a new Rosetta Stone.

The original Rosetta Stone was discovered in Egypt in 1799 by engineers deployed by French emperor Napoléon Bonaparte. A few years after the discovery, the hieroglyphics on the stone were deciphered by linguist Jean-François Champollion. This was a milestone in the field of linguistics, since it was the first time in many centuries anyone had been able to read ancient Egyptian writing.

The key to the decipherment was the fact that on the Rosetta Stone, the same message was carved first in hieroglyphics, then in Egyptian demotic script, then in a classical Greek script well-known to scholars. By examining these parallel inscriptions, Champollion was finally able to read the hieroglyphics, determining that they involved not only pictographs but also elements of phonetic writing, where names were spelled out according to their sound.

            Jean-François Champollion

The problems Champollion faced, and ultimately solved, were no doubt encountered by Friedman in a bizarre new context, where the mystery wasn’t an ancient Earth language with which we had lost contact, but a

                                 Sanskrit

language from another world.

Friedman, for example, must have struggled with the question of whether the symbols in the Aztec book were just pictographs or had phonetic qualities, too. Also, Friedman would have had to determine whether the script was an inflected language, i.e., whether it contained things like affixes to show different forms and tenses of verbs. Some extraterrestrial creature examining English language texts in the same way would notice the repetition of configurations like “-ed” and “-ing.” Did Friedman discover anything analogous in the Aztec UFO script? We may never know.

In any case, the prevailing powers in 1948 certainly did the right thing in sending the mysterious document to Friedman. As a moderately experienced cryptanalyst myself, I can assure everyone that solving the problem would have had to be a cryptological challenge, likely one of the most intriguing decipherments anyone ever tackled.

Space Force Weighing Options to Space Attacks

Article by Rachel S. Cohen                                           March 3, 2021                                           (airforcemag.com)

• During a National Press Club event on March 3rd, Chief of Space Operations General John W. “Jay” Raymond said that U.S. officials are trying to hash out the ground rules for space combat. There’s no one-size-fits-all answer for what could be considered an act of war or a ‘proportional response’. “I think it depends on the strategic context that’s going on in the world,” said Raymond.

• There’s no such thing as a “space war,” Raymond said. “It’s just war. How nations might choose to conduct operations in that war, that conflict, either on the sea, or in the air, or on the ground, or now in space, … is just integrated into that larger strategic conflict.”

• “You can’t put weapons of mass destruction in orbit, and you can’t militarize a planet, a celestial body. Other than that, there’s no rules,” Raymond said. That ambiguity may complicate global discussions of norms of behavior in outer space. Space Force is trying to drive that conversation to constrain bad behavior and shape a common understanding of what’s acceptable on orbit. “I’m not naive to think, if there was a set of norms of behavior, that everybody’s going to follow them,” said Raymond.

• “The challenge for space strategists is to anticipate how this gradual shift from… information operations to physical operations will proceed,” a recent report on space defense from the Center for Strategic and International Security (CSIS) pointed out. “Further analysis and gaming are needed to explore… when it is advantageous (or not) to do nothing in response to an attack or threat of attack.”

• Though Space Force is quick to note various technologies in development by China, Russia and others that could look to damage U.S. assets, Raymond declined to talk about what offensive and defensive capabilities his service has in the works. The CSIS report recommended that Space Force own “non-kinetic active defenses, such as onboard jamming and lasing systems, … to thwart kinetic attacks against high-value satellites.”

• “A physical seizure capability should also be explored,” the report added, “that could double as a (non-aggressive) inspector and on-orbit servicing satellite,” such as the Russian spacecraft which Moscow said was an inspector satellite and test-fired an anti-satellite weapon in space last year.

• Raymond noted that Space Force will debut its plan for streamlining the Pentagon’s space acquisition agencies in “another week or so,” and that he expects to see a Space Force dress uniform prototype in about a month. Officials will finalize which parts of the Army and Navy departments will transfer to the Space Force in the next couple of months.

• Despite less discussion on the subject from the Biden White House, the federal government’s renewed emphasis on space superiority and exploration hasn’t waned, Raymond said. “This is not a political issue,” he stressed. “This is about our national security and the foundation of all instruments of national power, and I look forward to continuing our efforts to build this service.”

U.S. officials are trying to hash out the ground rules for extraterrestrial combat more than a year after standing up a Space Force to fend off threats on orbit.

       General John W. “Jay” Raymond

There’s no one-size-fits-all answer for what actions by a satellite could be considered an act of war. Proportional response in a war that extends to space will depend on a broader context than earlier conflicts where the U.S. might respond to a barrage of rockets with its own airstrike, the Space Force’s top general said March 3. The U.S. could counter a satellite attack with a strike in cyberspace or against terrestrial facilities, for example.

“I think it depends on the strategic context that’s going on in the world,” Chief of Space Operations Gen. John W. “Jay” Raymond said during an event hosted by the National Press Club.

There’s no such thing as a “space war,” he said—it’s just war.
“How nations might choose to conduct operations in that war, that conflict, either on the sea, or in the air, or on the ground, or now in space, … is just integrated into that larger strategic conflict,” Raymond said.

That ambiguity may complicate global discussions of norms of behavior in outer space as more countries grow their civil, military, and industrial presence away from Earth. The Space Force is trying to drive that conversation to constrain bad behavior and shape a common understanding of what’s acceptable on orbit.

“You can’t put weapons of mass destruction in orbit, and you can’t militarize a planet, a celestial body. Other than that, there’s no rules,” Raymond said. “I’m not naive to think, if there was a set of norms of behavior, that everybody’s going to follow them.”

Space Force’s International Partnerships in Commercial Space Industry

• At the Air Force Association’s Virtual Aerospace Warfare Symposium on February 25th, Space Force chief of operations, General John “Jay” Raymond, said that Space Force will prioritize collaboration with the commercial space industry and partners around the world. The commercial space industry has lowered the barriers to space, so that almost all Space Force missions can be commercially viable with smaller, more operationally relevant satellites, Raymond said. “We want to build a very fused connection with commercial industry.”

• In its first year, the Space Force transferred personnel and commissioned cadets to the service; published doctrine and set up monitoring systems to track space debris; fleshed out training and submitted recommendations to Congress about how to update the space acquisition process. “This second year is all about integration and integrating this force,” Raymond said. “It’s driving the car that we built.” Space Force is ready to move on to bolstering behavioral norms with international allies and launching more assets into space.

• Space Force’s structure allows it to work with industry to leverage technology innovation while saving money. Earlier this year, Space Force established ‘SpaceWERX’, a technology accelerator program that works with companies in the space industry. “As we design that force, we want to design it in a way that capitalizes on this new business model that has emerged, that produces satellites off of a production line, rather than the one-off, handmade wooden shoe that takes years and years and years to build,” Raymond said.

• International exercises and wargames have helped the service foster these norms in the past year. Strengthening norms of behavior for space operations alongside international partners will improve safety, Raymond said. Norms don’t prevent bad behavior but they draw attention to countries or companies operating in a dangerous way. “We’ve made some really good strides and we operate to demonstrate that good behavior,” said Raymond. “We want to build this coalition friendly from the beginning to allow our international partners to invest.”

• Meanwhile, Raymond noted that the “explosion” of the space industry and international space activity has created new problems in ‘space debris’ or ‘space junk’. There are thousands of pieces of debris in addition to the thousands of satellites in low-Earth orbit, creating the danger of collision. “If the space domain is something we all care about, then inventing some innovative way to get the debris out of space could be something very useful for the future,” Raymond said. Improving engineering and launch standards will help to prevent more debris buildup. International partners can also monitor space and warn each other about potentially dangerous debris.

This year, the Space Force will prioritize collaboration with the commercial space industry and partners around the world, the

           General John “Jay” Raymond

service’s chief of operations said Feb. 25.

These types of partnerships have and will continue to allow the United States to lead the world in space, Gen. John “Jay” Raymond said at the Air Force Association’s Virtual Aerospace Warfare Symposium. The service — the newest branch of the military — was stood up 14 months ago.

In its first year, the Space Force transferred personnel and commissioned cadets to the service. It also published doctrine and set up monitoring systems to track space debris, among other capabilities. The service also fleshed out training for its new personnel and submitted recommendations to Congress about how to update the space acquisition process.

“This second year is all about integration and integrating this force,” Raymond said. “It’s driving the car that we built.”

Now, the service is ready to move on to bolstering behavioral norms with international allies and launching more assets into space. Because the commercial industry has lowered the barriers to space, almost all Space Force missions can be commercially viable with smaller, more operationally relevant satellites, he said.

“We want to build a very fused connection with commercial industry,” he said.

The service’s structure should allow it to work with industry to leverage technology innovation while saving money, he noted.

“As we design that force, we want to design it in a way that capitalizes on this new business model that has emerged, that produces satellites off of a production line, rather than the one-off, handmade wooden shoe that takes years and years and years to build,” Raymond said.

Earlier this year, the service established SpaceWERX, a technology accelerator program that works with companies in the space industry. The technology areas of focus for the program will be announced in coming weeks.

The service will also grow partnerships with allies this year, Raymond noted. Strengthening norms of behavior for space operations alongside international partners will improve safety, he said.

Are Middle East Wars a Cover for Soldiers Being Sent to Fight Extraterrestrials?

A March 9 Zero Hedge article presents nine signs why the Biden administration is moving towards increased US military intervention in Syria and against Iran. In this Exopolitics Today Podcast, Dr Michael Salla examines how these looming Middle East wars are a cover not only for Deep State activities such as searching for extraterrestrial artifacts and to fund a CIA black budget supporting secret space programs, but also for human soldiers to fight extraterrestrials in conflict zones. The podcast discusses extraterrestrial agreements dating back over a millennia, and the need for the Deep State to fulfill quotas of soldiers that are regularly sacrificed through wars contrived by the Deep State.

International Effort to Set Rules of Behavior in Space

Article by Sandra Erwin                                              February 24, 2021                                              (spacenews.com)

• The commander of the US Space Command, Major General DeAnna Burt (pictured above) says that international momentum is building for the adoption of a binding set of rules to make space safer and sustainable. A December 2020 UN resolution proposed by the UK will focus on a set of rules curtailing irresponsible or potentially threatening activities in space, and on reducing the risks of misunderstandings and miscalculations. The United States and allies including Canada, France, Germany Australia and New Zealand are now drafting language for the rules and the US Space Command is taking a central role. The UN has asked countries to submit input by May 3rd.

• This effort comes amid growing alarm about Russia’s anti-satellite weapon tests and concerns that the proliferation of satellites and debris is rapidly cluttering Earth orbit. US Space Command has grown especially mistrustful of Russia following recent tests of weapons that could be used to target satellites in low Earth orbit. In 2020 Russia tested two direct-ascent weapons. It also tested a co-orbital system that the United States claims was aimed at a US intelligence satellite.

• The 1967 Outer Space Treaty remains the basis for international space law but experts say the treaty has become outdated. For example, it bans the use of weapons of mass destruction in space but countries now deploy dual-use spacecraft that can be used for peaceful and military purposes.

• For decades there have been calls for the UN and other organizations to figure out a way to deter these types of activities and move forward as more nations engage in space operations. “[W]e want to see something that is binding. …The problem with previous UN resolutions is that they were non-binding”, said Burt. “We’re going to prepare what we believe will be proposal language that will go to the UN and hopefully result in a binding resolution,” she said. “[I]t’s going to be something we can all agree to.”

• It’s not just the U.S. and allied governments that care about this, said Burt. Private satellite owners and operators from many nations “have a vested interest in keeping the domain safe, sustainable and free for all to use,” says Burt. “There’s been a lot of (global) exploration over hundreds of years and we’ve established norms that become laws about the rules of the sea” under a long-standing maritime domain model. “How we operate in the space domain needs very similar kinds of customs and processes.” Any agreement has to clearly define what constitutes threatening, hostile or irresponsible behavior, Burt said. Based on that, a nation could decide if a particular action in space constitutes an act of war or if it can be handled through diplomatic or economic sanctions.

• Over the past decade, China and Russia have floated treaty proposals to ban weapons in space, but the United States has rejected them as unacceptable. The U.S. is not calling for a ban on specific weapons, Burt said. “The Chinese and the Russians have already put weapons in space. So I think we’re way past having a conversation about regulating them per se, which is why we focus on norms of behavior.” With regard to anti-satellite weapons, “I don’t think you can you can put that genie back in the bottle.”

• With more nations now involved in space, there are concerns beyond the use of weapons, such as safety of flight so that satellites do not collide with each other, said Burt, who spent 28 years in the U.S. Air Force operating satellites. Safety concerns will only grow as more humans start going to space, she added. Any international agreement also should hold accountable actors who create long-term debris. “That is something that we see is one of the biggest concerns,” she said. “We need to define what is long-term debris but a clear example is China’s 2007 anti-satellite test. We are still tracking debris from 2007.”

• Awareness of what other countries are doing will help attribute actions, said Burt. In instances when someone threatens a U.S. satellite, ideally “we want to show a picture … and share that on the national news” the same way the Air Force shows videos of aerial bombing campaigns. Most U.S. intelligence about the space domain is classified, however. Burt said U.S. Space Command leaders are working with the intelligence community to “declassify things we need to talk about to the American people.”

WASHINGTON — The United States and allies are drafting language in support of an international effort to adopt rules of behavior in space, U.S. Space Command’s Maj. Gen. DeAnna Burt told SpaceNews.

Burt is the commander of U.S. Space Command’s combined force space component at Vandenberg Air Force Base, California. She said international momentum is building for the adoption of a binding set of rules to make space safer and sustainable.

U.S. Space Command is taking a central role in this effort amid growing alarm about Russia’s anti-satellite weapon tests and concerns that the proliferation of satellites and debris is rapidly cluttering Earth orbit.

Burt said a team of Defense and State Department officials is drafting language on the U.S. position on a resolution approved in December by the United Nations General Assembly which calls for “norms, rules and principles of responsible behaviors” in space. The UN has asked countries to submit input by May 3 for inclusion in a report to be reviewed by the UN General Assembly this summer.

The problem with previous UN resolutions is that they were non binding, said Burt. “We’re going to prepare what we believe will be proposal language that will go to the UN and hopefully result in a binding resolution,” she said. “There’s a lot of good work happening on the international stage.”

For decades there have been calls for the UN and other organizations to figure out a way forward as more nations engage in space operations. The 1967 Outer Space Treaty remains the basis for international space law but experts say the treaty has become outdated. For example, it bans the use of weapons of mass destruction in space but countries now deploy dual-use spacecraft that can be used for peaceful and military purposes.

Poll Shows Public’s Priorities in Space

Article by Marcia Smith                                        February 25, 2021                                         (spacepolicyonline.com)

• A survey of 2,200 American adults conducted February 12-15, 2021 by ‘Morning Consult’ ranked space research and exploration 25th in a list of 26 priorities for the Biden Administration. It appears that the public wants the government to focus its space research agenda on monitoring Earth’s climate, and not human exploration of the Moon and Mars. But a he same time, the public also wants the U.S. to keep its competitive edge in space over countries like Russia and China. Ranking the most threatening countries in space, respondents viewed China the biggest threat to the U.S at 52 percent, Russia next at 45 percent, North Korea at 34 percent, and Iran at 30 percent.

• With regard to activities in space, monitoring the Earth’s climate system is the top priority 35 percent of those surveyed. In second place is monitoring asteroids that might threaten Earth and third was developing technologies that could be used broadly, not only for space. At the bottom of the list of 10 possible priorities was sending civilians to the Moon or Mars, which was a priority for only 6 percent of the people polled. The public is slightly more amenable to sending professional astronauts to the Moon or to Mars, but not civilians.

• Regarding NASA’s Artemis program aiming to return people to the Moon and go on to Mars, only 33 percent of the participants rate the Moon goal as a top or important priority and 24 percent for Mars. When considering Jared Isaacman’s proposal to hold a lottery for people to join him on Inspiration4 in a space flight (see previous ExoArticle), 58 percent said they were unlikely to travel to space even if price was no object. Most of those polled supported Biden’s decision to keep the US Space Force many said they did not know as they felt they weren’t “up to speed” on the government’s space efforts.

A new poll from Morning Consult finds that the public wants the government to focus its space research agenda on monitoring Earth’s climate, not human exploration of the Moon and Mars. Overall it ranked space research and exploration 25th in a list of 26 priorities for the Biden Administration. However, it also wants the United States to keep its competitive edge in space over countries like Russia and China.

The top priority was monitoring Earth’s climate system for 35 percent of those surveyed, while it was “important, but lower priority” for 28 percent, “not too important of a priority” for 18 percent, “should not be done” for 7 percent, and “don’t know/no opinion” for 11 percent.

Second was monitoring asteroids that might threaten Earth and third was developing technologies that could be used broadly, not only for space.

               Jared Isaacman

At the bottom of the list of 10 possible priorities was sending civilians to the Moon or Mars. That was a top priority for just 6 percent, important for 18 percent, not too important for 39 percent, should not be done for 24 percent, and 12 percent did not know or had no opinion.

Ranking just above that was sending “astronauts” to the Moon or to Mars, which apparently refers to professional astronauts as compared to the general public. NASA is embarked on the Artemis program with commercial and international partners to return people to the Moon and go on to Mars, although according to this survey only 33 percent rate the Moon goal as a top or important priority and 24 percent for Mars.

Also of interest, especially as entrepreneur Jared Isaacman is testing the waters of public interest in flying into space by choosing a person by lottery to join him on Inspiration4, of those surveyed 58 percent said they were unlikely to travel to space themselves even if price was no object.

Aliens On Earth? Elon Musk Has His Doubts

Article by Christine Andas                                                 February 22, 2021                                          (ph.asiatatler.com)

• As the CEO and founder of SpaceX, the first private company to launch a spacecraft to reach the International Space Station and to send humans to space, Elon Musk (pictured above) would most probably know if aliens do exist. In a recent interview on the Joe Rogan podcast, Rogan asked him whether extraterrestrial beings exist and are visiting the Earth. Shaking his head, Musk responded by saying, “No… To the best of my knowledge… there is no direct evidence [of] alien life [on Earth].”

• Musk then insinuated that if extraterrestrial beings were here on Earth, with so many people possessing iPhones why aren’t there any good photos of them, noting that the pictures and video released by the Pentagon and the CIA of hovering UFOs have been grainy black and white footage. The use this to claim that it is still unclear whether UFOs are indeed of extraterrestrial origin.

• In addition to being the CEO of SpaceX rocket manufacturing and Tesla Motors electric car manufacturing, Musk is the co-founder of Neuralink which develops brain-machine interfaces, and OpenAI which is developing next generation Artificial Intelligence. Musk is also the CEO of The Boring Company, which bores underground transportation tunnels. All of this has made Musk the “Richest Man in the World”.

• One need not go too far to find others who harbor doubts about the existence of extraterrestrial life – visiting the Earth or not. Most mainstream scientists and astronomers would agree. In 1979, American mathematical physicist Frank J. Tipler strongly insisted that aliens do not exist and that humans are the only intelligent species in the galaxy. In 1961, the mathematician Frank Drake developed the ‘Drake Equation’ wherein he estimated that there are likely only ten other planets in the Milky Way galaxy that might harbor extraterrestrial civilizations. Recently, Tom Westby and Christopher J. Conselice used the Drake Equation to arrive at their own estimate that no more than 36 alien civilizations exist in the galaxy. And of course, none of them have reached Earth.

[Editor’s Note]  Let’s see. A high-profile space transportation company clinging to outdated rocket propulsion technology. An electric car manufacturing company. A company developing Artificial Intelligence and a sister company integrating that technology into the human brain. And a deep underground tunnel boring company. Elon Musk’s vast fortune depends entirely on the Deep State and the cabal’s nefarious plans for the future. So of course Musk is going to go along with the Deep State’s cover-up of the existence of the numerous extraterrestrial races with whom cabal operatives here on Earth continually interact. The Deep State has been keeping the existence of extraterrestrials and their advanced technology from the people of Earth since the inception of the CIA and Majestic 12 in 1947. They simply want this highly advanced alien technology all to themselves, so that they can dominate the Earth and our solar system. Since Musk is so closely tied to this elite cabal of government, bankers and industrialists, he must know the truth about the extraterrestrial presence. This makes Elon Musk a liar and a Deep State stooge, as I have been saying for years.

         ‘Space Cowboy’ Elon Musk

“To the best of my knowledge… there is no direct evidence [of] alien life [on earth],” Elon Musk recently said in a new interview

                  ‘Dr Evil’ Elon Musk

with Joe Rogan. Rogan was hoping Musk would know (or at least hint at) the existence of these cosmo beings but Elon only responded by shaking his head, saying “no”.

“Somebody’s gotta at least have an iPhone 1 level camera,” he added. This rings true considering all the UFO footage that the Pentagon released last year and CIA’s UFO files which were released recently. The Pentagon’s grainy black and white footage revealed a hovering figure. Although the unidentified flying object was evident in the footage, it’s still unclear if it was the work of an extraterrestrial being.

As the CEO and founder of SpaceX, the first private company to launch a spacecraft to reach the space station and send humans to space, Musk would most probably know if aliens do exist. He has mastered multiple fields namely rocket science, engineering,

                Musk with Joe Rogan

transportation and aerospace. Apart from SpaceX, Elon is also the CEO of Tesla Motors and The Boring Company. He is also the co-founder of Neuralink and OpenAI. Currently, Elon’s prowess and success have earned him the title “Richest Man in the World”.

CONTRASTING INTELLIGENT LIFE STUDIES

One would think that the copious amount of alien studies, footage, and documents that we have would finally answer the questions we have been asking for years. But these discoveries are only revealing contrasting finds made by scientists and astronomers alike.

In 1979, American mathematical physicist Frank J. Tipler strongly insists that aliens do not exist and that humans are the only intelligent species to exist in the galaxy.

The Drake Equation which Frank Drake started in 1961 is an argument used to estimate the number of alien civilisations in the milky way galaxy. It helped Drake estimate 10 planets in the milky way. Since then, various scientists have used the Drake Equation in an attempt to make the best guesses. It helped Tom Westby and Christopher J. Conselice in their new study. They claim that alien life is existent but rare—only 36 alien societies reside within the milky way.

Tales of ‘Blinding Lights’ and ‘Alien Abductions’ in the UK North-East ‘Hotspot’

Article by Katie Anderson                                         February 20, 2021                                         (gazettelive.co.uk )

• Glen Richardson’s father once told him about a strange occurrence that happened before Richardson was born. His father awoke one night around 2 or 3 in the morning to the sound of a vacuum cleaner. He ventured downstairs expecting to find his wife, but instead, saw a very big, bright, yellow and orange blinding light coming from outside the window. “He went to take a closer look, it lit up the sky for a few more seconds, and then it vanished,” said Richardson (pictured above).

• With this story, Richardson was hooked. He consumed as many books and articles on the UFO topic as he could get his hands on and became a resident UFO investigator in Hartlepool, in Durham County, England – studying unexplained objects and potential alien existence. He began travelling the length and breadth of the UK to meet people who’d had witnessed similar phenomena. “[M]y late-father that really inspired me- because he was a very skeptical man,” says Richardson, now 45. Richardson works as a mental health care assistant when he’s not chasing UFOs.

• The most compelling case that Richardson has dealt with over the last 20 years involved a woman from Northumberland who came forward two years ago saying she’d seen an unrecognizable object in the sky followed by two Apache helicopters. “…I spoke to a gentleman from the Ministry of Defence” said Richardson. “He confirmed there were three Apache helicopters deployed at the same time and location.” “She was adamant that the third was not a helicopter.”[B]ut… it validated her sighting of an unrecognizable object.

• Richardson says North East England is somewhat of a “hotspot” for UFO sightings, with many reports coming in over the last few years, including across Hartlepool. “A man in Hartlepool complained of missing time while he was awake, and a triangular shaped craft outside his room when he went to sleep,” said Richardson. “He said these things happened to him on three separate occasions during the 1980s.”

• Richardson said he feels there is a difference between these ‘abduction’ scenarios and hallucinations he observes in his job as a mental health worker. Patients will just come out with their hallucination. But when UFO witnesses speak of an encounter, they act very cautiously. “Often it’ll start with them describing a sighting, and once they trust you, they’ll confide in you about something more,” says Richardson. “Often I get the impression they don’t believe it themselves, or they don’t want to believe it.”

• With the advancement of smart phones and other video technology, more people are capturing them and the stigma attached to reporting UFO’s is falling away. And with this change, “[P]eople are feeling more confident than ever coming forward,” notes Richardson. “When I first started, there was a lot of name-calling (from) friends and colleagues… but that’s settled down now.”

• “I’m part of a strong community of researchers and we are all in it for the same reasons: to help people and to gather as much information as possible to substantiate that there is life out there. It would be an amazing discovery.”

• Richardson concedes that there are logical explanations for many UFO sightings. But there are some that just can’t be explained. “I do believe there is something else going on,” he says. And he believes that there is more to it than just unidentified flying objects – there is the potential for alien life. “Regardless of whether you believe in evolution or religious arguments, it seems highly unlikely that we are the only life out there.”

one of Glen Richardson’s UFO pics

For most people, UFOs are a source of intrigue and the extra-terrestrial is reserved for sci-fi Netflix binges.

But for Hartlepool ‘s resident UFO investigator, Glen Richardson, studying unexplained objects and potential alien existence is a life-passion.

“I’ve been interested in this line of work for as long as I can remember” said Glen, 45, who works as a mental health care assistant when he’s not chasing UFOs.

          Hartlepool, England

“But it was one story from my late-father that really inspired me- because he was a very skeptical man.”

“He told me that one night, before I was born, he awoke around 2 or 3 in the morning to the sound of a vacuum cleaner. He ventured downstairs expecting to find my mum, but instead, saw a very big, bright, yellow and orange blinding light coming from outside the window.

“He went to take a closer look, it lit up the sky for a few more seconds, and then it vanished.”

Glen was captivated by the tale, and eagerly consumed as many books and articles on the topic as he could get his hands on. Soon, he began travelling the length and breadth of the UK to meet people who alleged they had witnessed similar phenomena.

He said the most compelling case he’s dealt with over the last 20 years involved a woman from Northumberland, who came forward 2 years ago saying she’d seen an unrecognisable object in the sky followed by two Apache helicopters.

CIA Docs Suggest Giant Aliens on Ancient Mars

Article by Nirmal Narayanan                                             February 21, 2021                                               (ibtimes.co.in)

• A declassified CIA document released by The Black Vault has gone viral. Titled ‘Mars Exploration May 22, 1984’, the document suggests that the CIA may have observed alien life on the Martian surface by use of ‘remote viewing’ or ‘astral projection’ which helped the subject (ie: the viewer) observe ancient alien life on Mars.

• CIA officers asked the subject to watch Mars before one million years BC. The subject claimed that he saw pyramid-like structures on the Red Planet and added that he witnessed alien life forms on the Martian surface. “I’m seeing, ah, it’s like a perception of a shadow of people, very tall, thin, it’s only a shadow. It’s as if they were there and they’re not, not there anymore,” notes the subject in the CIA transcript. These humanoid creatures were also wearing strange clothing.

• A few weeks back, the former head of Israel’s space security program for more than 30 years Haim Eshed claimed that aliens do exist, and that world powers like the United States and Israel are working together with aliens. Eshed claims that there is a Galactic Federation with representatives of humans and aliens, and that there is a secret underground base on Mars where extraterrestrials and humans are working together.

A declassified CIA document from 1984 is now going viral on online spaces, and it suggests that the United States may have

              pyramids on Mars

observed alien life on the Martian surface. The document has been released by The Black Vault and it has gone viral at a time when NASA created history by landing its Perseverance Rover on the surface of the Red Planet, aiming to uncover secrets of ancient life on Mars.

Mars exploration mysteries

The document uncovered by The Black Vault has been simply titled ‘Mars Exploration May 22, 1984’, and it basically centers around a subject that made use of astral projection which helped him observe ancient alien life on Mars.

When the CIA officers asked the subject to watch Mars before one million years BC, the subject claimed that he saw pyramid-like structures on the Red Planet. The subject also added that he witnessed alien life forms on the Martian surface.

“I’m seeing, ah, it’s like a perception of a shadow of people, very tall, thin, it’s only a shadow. It’s as if they were there and they’re not, not there anymore,” said the subject.
The subject added that the humanoid creatures he saw roaming across the Red Planet were very tall and they were seen wearing strange clothing.

Alien underground base in Mars

A few weeks back, Haim Eshed who served as the head of Israel’s space security program for more than 30 years had claimed that

Haim Eshed

aliens do exist in the universe. The former space security chief also added that world powers like the United States and Israel are working together with aliens.

Eshed made these remarks during an interview given to Yediot Aharanot. During the interview, Eshed claimed that there is a galactic federation where there are representatives of humans and aliens. He also added that there is a secret underground base on Mars where extraterrestrials and humans are working together.

Airliner Audio Reveals Close Encounter with ‘Fast-Moving Cylindrical Object’ Over New Mexico

Article by Luke Kenton                                           February 22, 2021                                         (dailymail.co.uk)

• On February 21st at about 1pm local time, a commercial jet travelling from Cincinnati to Phoenix had a close encounter with a fast-moving, ‘long cylindrical object’ at 36,000 feet over northeast New Mexico. In the 20-second audio below, the pilot of American Airlines Flight 2292 can be heard telling Albuquerque Air Traffic Control: “Do you have any targets up here? We just had something go right over the top of us. I hate to say this but it looked like a long cylindrical object that almost looked like a cruise missile type of thing – moving really fast right over the top of us.” The airliner was travelling around 460 miles per hour at the time and went on to land in Phoenix without further incident.

• The American Airline radio transmission was intercepted by Steve Douglass who runs the Deep Black Horizon blog. In a statement to DailyMail.com, American Airlines confirmed the authenticity of the audio clip obtained by Douglass. According to Douglas, no significant military aircraft presence was noted in the area at the time. According to The Drive, the incident happened not too far from the sprawling White Sands Missile Range and the Mount Dora Military Operating Area. But the likelihood that a missile may have ‘gone off the reservation’ during a test or exercise is slim. Commercial pilots would’ve been pre-notified to any such safety hazard.

• The encounter is reminiscent of another incident that occurred in the same area three years ago. In that incident, on February 24, in 2018, two pilots on different air craft – a Learjet and an Airbus – reported having close encounters with a mysterious object flying above them at 37,000 feet over southern Arizona near the New Mexico border. The sightings occurred within minutes of each other. The pilot of a Learjet asked Air Traffic Control: “Was anybody above us that passed us like 30 seconds ago?” When the dispatcher replied ‘no’, the pilot laughed insisting it must be a ‘UFO’.

• Moments later, the pilot of American Airlines Airbus announced: “Yeah, something just passed over us, like a – I don’t know what it was. But it was at least two, three thousand feet above us. Yeah, it passed right over the top of us.” When asked if the object was in motion or hovering, the pilot said: “Couldn’t make it out whether it was a balloon or whatnot. But it was just really beaming light or could have had a big reflection and was several thousand feet above us going opposite direction.” That pilot later told local media: “It was very bright but it wasn’t so bright that you couldn’t look at it … It didn’t look anything like an airplane.” “What was weird about it, normally, if you have an object and the sun is shining this way, the reflection would be on this side, but this was bright all the way around. It was so bright that you really couldn’t make out what shape it was.”

An American Airlines flight travelling from Cincinnati to Phoenix on Sunday shared a bizarre close encounter with what its pilot described as a fast-moving, ‘long cylindrical object’.

The encounter, which occurred at 36,000 feet above the remote northeast corner of New Mexico, west of Des Moines yesterday, involved AA Flight 2292, an Airbus A320, according to The Drive.

In a radio transmission intercepted by Steve Douglass, who runs the Deep Black Horizon blog, the pilot can be heard telling Albuquerque Air Traffic Control: ‘Do you have any targets up here? We just had something go right over the top of us.

‘I hate to say this but it looked like a long cylindrical object that almost looked like a cruise missile type of thing – moving really fast right over the top of us.’

The plane was said to be travelling at around 460 miles per hour at the time.

In a statement to DailyMail.com, American Airlines confirmed the authenticity of the audio clip obtained by Douglass.

Russia and China Ready to Sign Deal to Build First Moon Base, Snubbing US

Article by Olivia Burke                                                 February 18, 2021                                            (thesun.co.uk)

• On February 11th, the Russian Federation announced plans to sign a Memorandum of Understanding with China to collaborate on a series of International Lunar Research Stations (ILRS) or ‘Moon bases’, as proposed by the Chinese. Both countries will carry out preparatory research throughout the 2020s with the aim of establishing Moon bases at the Moon’s south pole in the early 2030s. The bases will initially be populated by robots and will provide a long-term presence on the Moon for short crewed missions in the early 2030s, and a longer-term sustained human presence anticipated to begin between 2036-2045. The U.S. has not been asked to participate.

• The Chinese and Russians plan to use the lunar base to aid the “construction and operation of human’s first sharing platform in the lunar south pole, supporting long-term, large-scale scientific exploration, technical experiments and development and utilization of lunar resources.” The robotic base will potentially incorporate the expertise of other nations as well, who will contribute their own spacecrafts.

• Pand Zhihao, a former researcher at the China Academy of Space Technology, praised, “Russia’s expertises, including liquid oxygen kerosene engine technology as well as a complete, world-beating system for astronaut training, will all no doubt accelerate the program’s advancement.” Russia’s state corporation for space activities, Roscosmos, said the official announcement set to coincide with the Global Space Exploration Conference in 2021, held in St. Petersburg.

• Humans have not set foot on the Moon since the NASA’s Apollo 17 mission in December 1972. The Americans have been planning to resume settlement of the Moon under the Artemis Accords, pledging to send astronauts back there by 2024. The Russians, however, do not favor the Artemis Accords because it proposes a global legal framework for mining on the Moon, which the Russians liken to colonialism. Roscosmos’ deputy general director for international cooperation, Sergey Saveliev, remarked, “There have already been examples in history when one country decided to start seizing territories in its (own) interest — everyone remembers what came of it.”

• It is also believed that Russia was reluctant to back the Artemis Accords plan due to the Lunar Gateway element – a small orbiting space station and communication hub similar to the ISS. U.S. legislation implemented in 2011 prohibits China from participating with the International Space Station partnership. And it is thought that the Trump Administration further isolated the U.S. from its international allies by unilaterally creating the Space Force.

• NASA’s Artemis Accords have the cooperation and support of Australia, Canada, England, Japan, Luxembourg, Italy, and the UAE. “The Artemis Accords have driven China and Russia toward increased cooperation in space out of fear and necessity,” said former Congressional legislative director Elya Taichman.

• China made history in 2019 by becoming the first country to land on the dark side of the Moon. The European Space Agency is said to be closely monitoring the ILRS program in anticipation of joining. It is feared that a China-Russia-European consortium could knock NASA off the top spot as the international leader of space exploration.

RUSSIA and China are joining forces as they prepare to sign a historic deal to build the first moon base after they snubbed the US.

                             Apollo 17

The two countries are to collaborate on the international lunar structure, which was thought up by China – the latest build in the space-race against America.

The purpose of the International Lunar Research Stations (ILRS), is to create a long-term robotic presence on the Moon by the start of the next decade, before eventually establishing a sustained human presence.

           Elya Taichman

An Order of the Government of the Russian Federation detailing the scheme was published on February 11, but the “date to sign the above mentioned MoU has not been determined yet and is currently discussed with the Chinese partners.”

Humans have not set foot on the moon since December 1972, when Harrison Schmitt and Eugene Cernan made tracks on it during an

     Sergey Saveliev

Apollo 17 mission.

Both countries will carry out the research, beginning with China’s upcoming Chang’e-6, -7, and -8 missions and Russia’s Luna 27 probe.

They plan to use the lunar base to aid the “construction and operation of human’s first sharing platform in the lunar south pole, supporting long-term, large-scale scientific exploration, technical experiments and development and utilisation of lunar resources.”

China and Russia plan that in the early 2030s, the ILRS development will theoretically provide a base for long-term robotic presence on the Moon with the potential for short crewed missions.

Extraterrestrials Are Concerned About Destruction and War Say ‘Contactees’

Article by Arjun Walia                                             February 16, 2021                                           (collective-evolution.com)

• On a hilltop known as Khao Kala, in a mountainous forest reserve in the central Thailand near the city of Nakhon Sawan, large groups of people who climb up to a large Buddha statue that sits atop the hill (pictured above) have reported seeing UFOs hovering over the hilltop. Khao Kala is three hours by rail north of Bangkok. The pilgrims who regularly gather there claim that the UFOs are extraterrestrials from the former planet Pluto sending them telepathic messages. The ETs are said to be thin beings with silver looking skin. They travel in spaceships through a wormhole that ends just above the Buddha statue where craft are seen spontaneously appearing and disappearing.

• The Plutonians telepathically warn of environmental disaster and/or a nuclear war if humanity does not get its affairs in order. The ETs are worried that a disaster on the Earth could impact Pluto as well. They also want to help Earth survivors rebuild human civilization in the event of a massive extermination. In 2019, the gatherings at the top of Khao Kala had become so large that the government petitioned the courts to ban mass gatherings in the area and tried to prevent multiple groups from going there. Many UFO enthusiasts who gathered in the area were confronted by police and forestry officials.

• The gatherings at the Buddha statue at Khao Kala began in 1997 when retired Sergeant-Major Cherd Chunsamnaun was at his home, deep in Buddhist meditation, when he received mental messages from the Plutonian extraterrestrials. Cherd’s daughter Wassana scoffed at him and told him to “tell the aliens to show themselves”. The next day, the daughter watched as her brother and brother-in-law “were yanked up from the living room sofa and spun simultaneously, like whirling dervishes, out of the house and into the yard.”

• When Wassana saw her brother and brother-in-law spinning like tops in the front yard, she called her sister, nurse Somjit. When Somjit arrived home, her husband Charoen Raepeth told her that he had lost control of his body and spun out to the front yard of the house where he was shocked to see a UFO in the sky above. “I saw a big, round flying object with a bright orange light in the center and many other smaller lights spinning around it,” said Charoen. The sisters looked each other and said, “It is real.” They both quit their nursing jobs to champion the extraterrestrials as their father continued to receive telepathic messages over the years. “Before my father died (in 2000), he taught us how to communicate with the aliens,” said Wassana. Today, she says more than 100 other Thais have developed the ability communicate with the ETs as well.

• In the 1950s, Dr. George King founded the Aetherius Society after receiving telepathic messages from an extraterrestrial. According to King, the ETs were also very concerned about humanity’s use, testing and manufacturing of nuclear weapons, and the direction in which humanity on Earth was heading. But as former Canadian Defense Minister Paul Hellyer stated, “Decades ago, visitors from other planets warned us about where we were headed and offered to help. But instead, we, or at least some of us, interpreted their visits as a threat, and decided to shoot first and ask questions after.”

• It is a matter of public record that UFOs have been seen, many times, hovering over nuclear missile storage facilities when the missile launching capabilities were inexplicably shut down. In March of 1967, witnesses saw a red, glowing UFO hovering just outside the front gate of Malmstrom Air Force Base in Montana, a USAF nuclear weapons launch facility. According to USAF Captain Robert Salas, all of the nuclear missiles shut down and went completely dead.

• A declassified report by the Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center from June 1959 revealed just how seriously the U.S. government wanted to detonate a nuclear weapon on the Moon. USAF Colonel Ross Dedrickson, who also worked extensively with the U.S. Atomic Energy Commission, said that he learned “about incidents involving nuclear weapons.” Apparently, in the late 1970s and early 80s, the U.S. military “attempted to put a nuclear weapon on the Moon and explode it for scientific measurements and other things, which was not acceptable to the extraterrestrials,” said Dedrickson. “They destroyed the weapon before it got to the Moon….And that is their major concern, to preserve the integrity of the Earth, because it (also) affects their own system….The idea of an explosion in space by any Earth government was not acceptable to the extraterrestrials and that has been demonstrated over and over.”

• In 1977, a British news broadcast was supposedly overtaken over by an extraterrestrial called Vrillon. The message was a warning to the people of Earth to change our ways before we destroy the planet. And in 1994, more than 60 children at a school in Zimbabwe telepathically received the same messages of imminent annihilation of the planet if we do not change our destructive ways. Harvard psychiatrist John Mack investigated the case and confirmed that all of the schoolchildren recounted the exact same experience and drew the same pictures of the extraterrestrial beings who communicated to them that we must change our ways on this planet.

         Dr. George King

We are living in a time in which the collective mind is opening and has opened itself to the possibility that “we are being visited and have

        Buddha statue on Khao Kala

been visited” (Lord Admiral Hill Norton) by beings from other worlds. This topic is no longer taboo, especially since the fact that the existence of Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs) or Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon (UAPs) has been confirmed multiple times by many governments and agencies around the world, the latest example being the United States Navy and the Pentagon.

We have seen legitimate coverage on the topic from mainstream media organizations like the New York Times and CNN for example, coverage that hints to the idea that these objects do not originate on Earth or from our civilization. This type of “mainstream disclosure” has many people skeptical given the fact that so many people are having a hard time trusting these networks. For years we’ve seen a campaign within the mainstream to ridicule this topic and place it into the “conspiracy theory” bin. Therefore, it is indeed an important question to ask ourselves why they are legitimizing the topic all of a sudden after so many years of secrecy and ridicule. I propose that what we are receiving and will receive from the mainstream is simply an attempt to control the narrative on a topic that is so vast and leaves no aspect of humanity untouched. We will probably get nothing but a heavily sanitized version of the ‘truth,’ if anything and an attempt to control our perception of the phenomenon, but that’s just my opinion. Right now we don’t know what we are going to get.

                  Ross Dedrickson

Although the collective mind is opening to the reality of unknown objects performing physics defying maneuvers thanks to radar tracking data, videos, pictures and witness testimony, as well as the extraterrestrial hypothesis, when it comes to actual stories that exist within the lore of this field it still seems quite unbelievable to many, and that’s very understandable.

What Happened

One (of many) interesting recent supposed contact experiences that may currently be ongoing comes from a forest reserve in central Thailand. A hilltop (Khao Kala) there has been attracting many people, especially those who have an interest in the UFO phenomenon due to reports of UFOs seen in the area hovering above a large Buddha statue that sits atop the hill. It’s all happening approximately three hours by road or rail

               Robert Salas

north from Bangkok in Nakhon Sawan, which translates to “City of Heaven.”

                      Paul Hellyer

Those who gather there and have been gathering claim that these objects are piloted by extraterrestrials, and that they receive telepathic messages that are quite similar to the messages and teachings that come from Buddhism. To someone who hasn’t studied the lore of extraterrestrial phenomenon this may seem funny and ridiculous, but supposed telepathic communication with extraterrestrial beings is quite commonplace among those who claim to have had such experiences. In many cases the “teachings” and messages supposedly received also seem to corroborate to many other encounters from around the globe. The corroboration among experiencers is actually quite eye-opening and vast. There are thousands of experiences that corroborate with each other in several fascinating ways.

Another common corroboration seems to be the idea that we as a human race are on the brink of destroying our planet, and in doing so we may also affect beings that live on other worlds around us. These particular beings in Thailand have warned of environmental disaster and the threat of World War 3 as well if humanity does not get its affairs in order. Some of these beings in Thailand apparently come from Pluto, they arrive in spaceships via a supposed wormhole above the statue, and the beings and craft are seen spontaneously appearing and disappearing. They are supposedly thin beings with silver looking skin.

                      Vrillon 1977

“Pluto aliens worry about something so devastating happening on Earth, such as war or in the environment, that it might impact

            John Mack

their planet. They also want to give some people the ability to communicate with them, so if humans destroy everything in a nuclear war, the aliens will be able to help survivors rebuild human civilization.”

This is interesting, Dr. George King who founded the Aetherius Society after, according to him, receiving telepathic messages from an extraterrestrial. The messages given through Dr. King from the 1950’s onward corroborate with UFO activity disclosed today, in 2021, and the messages that come from these people in Thailand.

What I find intriguing about Dr. Kings transmissions is the fact that the information he was relaying to the public in the 1950s correlates with a lot of information we now know about the phenomenon today, in 2021. For example, he stated that they were highly concerned about humanity’s use, testing and manufacturing of nuclear weapons. Fast forward today and we have a lot of information about the phenomenon which suggests this.

For example, a declassified report by the Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center from June 1959 shows just how seriously the United States government wanted to detonate a nuclear weapon on the Moon for scientific measurements and such. According to Colonel Ross Dedrickson, who had a long stint with the U.S. Atomic Energy Commission, they did try this. While with the Air Force and the Atomic Energy Commission, he learned “about incidents involving nuclear weapons.”

What Belief in Extraterrestrials Reveals About Trust in Elections

Article by Martin La Monica                                           February 18, 2021                                          (theconversation.com)

• On January 19, 2021, the day before Biden’s inauguration, researchers at the University of New Orleans Survey Research Center conducted a state-wide poll of 633 registered voters in Louisiana. (see here for the Louisiana survey) The survey labeled those who believe that extraterrestrial beings visit Earth as ‘conspiracy oriented’. These conspiracy oriented people also tend to believe that Joe Biden was not the legitimate winner of the 2020 Presidential election due to election fraud, according to the poll.

• Researchers asked a series of questions about the participant’s religious beliefs, their beliefs in extraterrestrial life, and whether Joe Biden was the rightful winner of the 2020 US Presidential election. Recent surveys have shown that both Republicans and Democrats include a significant number of so-called ‘conspiracy theorists’, ie: the belief that hidden causes are behind real-world events. But it was always the Democrats and Independent voters who were more inclined to believe in conspiracy theories than the Republicans.

• With the evolution of social media networks, where people encounter only those who agree with them to create an ‘echo chamber’, conspiracy theories regarding the pandemic and election cycle have circulated broadly. The QAnon movement in particular, which holds the election was fraudulent, has developed from periphery to a growing mainstream group. QAnon believers see the fact that Trump has lost all the legal challenges to be just more evidence that powerful and secretive forces are at work to steal the election and hide the truth from the public.

• Most of the survey’s respondents – 59.7% – believe that life exists elsewhere in the universe than just on Earth. And nearly one-third – 32.3% – of the respondents believe that aliens have actually visited Earth, in spite of governments continuing to deny any such thing. Third-party and Independent voters are more likely to believe this than Democrats or Republicans.

• Just over half of the survey respondents do not believe Biden was rightfully elected President, with a clear partisan split. 74% of Democrats trusted the election results while only 12% of Republicans believe the election outcome. Third-party and Independent voters were more evenly divided. Of the respondents who believe aliens have visited Earth, 57.6% also believe Biden was not rightfully elected president.

• The poll reveals that a statistically significant percentage of the Louisiana population who believe that our government leaders are covering up alien visitation also believe that these government officials are misleading the public about the Presidential election results. As conspiracy theory beliefs continue to grow in the U.S., researchers expect a corresponding increase in mistrust of government officials and a drop in the public’s trust in future elections.

Partisanship is not enough to explain why so many Americans – mostly Republicans – distrust the outcome of the 2020 presidential election.

As scholars in political behavior and methods, we are aware of another factor in voters’ thinking that has increased right alongside electoral distrust: Americans’ beliefs in conspiracy theories, especially those that express mistrust of government officials.

Our research, which has not yet been published, finds that these two beliefs are linked – to the extent that Americans who believe aliens have visited Earth are more likely than disbelievers to say that Joe Biden is not the legitimate winner of the 2020 presidential election. As conspiracy theory beliefs grow in the U.S., we expect a corresponding drop in public trust in elections.

Polling voters

Drawing on academic literature focused on trust in electoral processes, we decided to look specifically at voters’ conspiratorial beliefs. On Jan. 19, 2021, the eve of President Joe Biden’s inauguration, we conducted a survey of 633 Louisiana registered voters, selected at random. We asked a series of questions about their religious beliefs, their beliefs in extraterrestrial life and whether Joe Biden had been the rightful winner of the 2020 U.S. presidential election.

The key questions we asked were:
• Do you believe that there is life in the universe other than on Earth?
• Do you believe that extraterrestrials have visited the Earth?
• Do you believe that Joe Biden is the rightful winner of the 2020 U.S. presidential election?
We weighted the answers to reflect the statewide population balance of gender, age and race.

Aliens and electoral trust

We found that Democrats and third-party and independent voters were somewhat more inclined to believe conspiracy theories than Republicans. That fits with other recent surveys indicating that both parties do indeed have conspiratorial leanings, though the partisan divide may influence which particular conspiracies a person believes.

Man Claims Extraterrestrials Gave Him Pancake with Unknown Type of Wheat

Article by Nirmal Narayanan                                          February 18, 2021                                          (ibtimes.sg)

• Among the many UFO and alien reports that the US Air Force investigated under ‘Project Blue Book’, the encounter reported by Chicken farmer Joe Simonton in Eagle River, Wisconsin in 1961 remains “unexplained”.

• Around 11am on April 18, 1961, Simonton (age 60) claims that a UFO landed on his farm. Three aliens came out of the UFO. They each stood about 5 feet tall and wore black or navy blue clothing with turtleneck shirts and helmets. Remarkably, the aliens offered Simonton some pancakes for breakfast. One of the aliens asked for water, which Simonton readily provided.

• Simonton described the incident to the press, which attracted the attention of the US Air Force. Astronomer J Allen Hynek was deployed to investigate. Hynek took one of the pancakes to the Air Force Technical Intelligence Center for analysis and determined that the pancake was made from flour, sugar, and grease. Hynek wrote in his report, “There is no question that Mr. Simonton felt that his contact had been a real experience.”

• In his book: The W-Files: True Reports of Wisconsin’s Unexplained Phenomena, author Jay Rath reinvestigated the Simonton event and he claimed that the wheat flour in the pancake was of an unknown type.

• Last December, former Israeli space security chief Haim Eshed claimed that alien existence on Earth is real and that powers like the United States and Israel are in regular contact with them. Eshed says that there is a Galactic Federation that controls space activities. Conspiracy theorists claim that world governments are covering up the facts surrounding alien life to avoid public panic.

   Joe Simonton with pancake

Conspiracy theorists have long been claiming that advanced aliens from distant civilizations have visited Earth many times in the past. According to these conspiracy theorists, governments and space agencies like NASA are aware of extraterrestrial existence, but they are covering up the facts surrounding alien life to avoid public panic. Alien believers strongly argue that several people have even encountered aliens in real life, and Chicken farmer Joe Simonton was one person who allegedly saw extraterrestrials.

Simonton’s Unusual Experience

Simonton allegedly met aliens at around 11.00 AM on April 18, 1961, and the extraterrestrials even tried to serve him intergalactic pancakes. He was aged 60 at that time, and aliens visited him at his farm in Eagle River, Wisconsin. Simonton added that aliens reached his farm in an unidentified flying object (UFO).

The man claimed that three aliens who had a height of 1.5 meters, wore black or navy blue clothing with turtleneck shirts and helmets came out of the UFO, and they offered him a piece of pancake. One alien asked for water from Simonton, and he readily gave these extraterrestrials sufficient water.

US Air Force Investigated the Incident

As Simonton told everything that he saw to the press, the United States Air Force (USAF) conducted an investigation to solve the mysteries surrounding the incident.
Astronomer J Allen Hynek was deployed by the USAF to investigate the event, and he took one of the pancakes to the Air Force Technical Intelligence Center for analysis. Upon analysis, the team found that the pancake was made from flour, sugar, and grease.

“There is no question that Mr. Simonton felt that his contact had been a real experience,” Hynek wrote in his report, Daily Star reports.

The US Air Force called the experience of Simonton ”Unexplained”.

Elon Musk Announces ‘There will be a Marscoin!’ Cryptocurrency

Article by Brian McGleenon                                              February 16, 2021                                                 (express.co.uk)

• The digital currency known as ‘Dogecoin’ is similar to the more famous, and lucrative, ‘Bitcoin’. Dodgecoin, which was created in 2013, has long traded for less than one cent. Implying that the digital currency field had “too much concentration”, the Tesla and SpaceX mogul, Elon Musk offered via Twitter to pay major Dodgecoin holders real money to to simply void their account.

• Then, the founder of currency trading platform Binance tweeted an idea: “Develop a new ElonCoin. Offer them to the existing non-major dogecoin holders to void their wallet. You wouldn’t need to pay dollars to make those majors dogecoin holders richer than they already are and allocate your time and support to make the ElonCoin the (new) currency of the Earth.” “Maybe call it MarsCoin? Musk tweeted back what could be the seed of the world’s first extra-terrestrial currency: “There will definitely be a MarsCoin!”

• Musk needs to be careful about making statements that could manipulate market prices. As CEO of a traded company, Musk’s statements are regulated to ensure investors have equal access to news that can significantly affect share prices. Cryptocurrencies, however, are not regulated in the same way as normal company shares and would fall outside the current rules against market manipulation, regardless of whether he owns the cryptocurrency or not.

                            Elon Musk

ELON Musk announced today on Twitter a plan for new digital currency, tweeting, “there will definitely be a MarsCoin!”

The CEO of SpaceX and Tesla made the claim in a Twitter thread about dogecoin. Mr Musk tweeted: “If major dogecoin holders sell most of their coins, it will get my full support. Too much concentration is the only real issue.

“I will literally pay actual $ if they just void their accounts.”

Then one follower of Mr Musk tweeted an idea: “Develop a new ElonCoin.

“Offer them to the existing non-major dogecoin holders to void their wallet.

“You wouldn’t need to pay dollars to make those majors dogecoin holders richer than they already are and allocate your time and support to make the ElonCoin the currency of the Earth.”

It was the founder of currency trading platform Binance that then postulated the idea, “Maybe call it MarsCoin?

It was then that Mr Musk came back with what could be the seedling of the world’s first extra-terrestrial currency.

He tweeted: “There will definitely be a MarsCoin!”

Commercial Space Station Developer ‘Axiom Space’

Article by Dan Primack, Miriam Kramer                                      February 17, 2021                                          (axios.com)

• Houston-based ‘Axiom Space’ aims to be the world’s first commercial space station. Toward that end, it has raised $130 million in capital funding. Axiom represents what many believe is the future of space. Axiom will work with SpaceX, valued at $74 billion, on next January’s planned tourism trip to the International Space Station.

• Axiom’s plan begins with the launch of a commercial module that will be hooked up to the International Space Station in the 2024 time frame. Additional modules will be added to the Axiom module complex in subsequent years to create a commercial wing of the space station. When the ISS is decommissioned in 2028, as planned, Axiom will detach its commercial space base and operate independently as a privately owned space station.

Axiom Space, a Houston-based developer of what would be the world’s first commercial space station, raised $130 million in Series B funding led by C5 Capital.
Why it matters: Axiom represents what many believe is the future of space, whereby NASA becomes a customer everywhere in low-Earth orbit so that it can focus on the Moon, Mars and beyond.

• Other investors include Declaration Partners, Moelis Dynasty Investments, The Venture Collective, Hemisphere Ventures and Starbridge VC.

• More space bucks: SpaceX raised $850 million last week at around a $74 billion valuation last week, per CNBC. Axiom and SpaceX are working together on next January’s planned tourism trip to the International Space Station.

The bottom line: “Axiom’s plan for its own space station would begin with the launch of a commercial module that would be hooked up to the International Space Station in the 2024 time frame. Additional modules would be added to Axiom’s complex during the years that follow. If the ISS is decommissioned in 2028, as planned, Axiom would detach its modules and operate them independently as a privately owned space station,” Geekwire’s Alan Boyle reports.

Nicaragua’s Ministry for Extraterrestrial Space Affairs and Backlash

Article by Kris Holt                                      February 19, 2021                                            (yahoo.com)

• The Nicaraguan National Assembly legislature has passed a bill to establish a ‘National Ministry for Extraterrestrial Space Affairs, The Moon and Other Celestial Bodies’. The Nicaraguan army, which doesn’t have a space program, will oversee the ministry. The Space Affair Ministry is intended to “promote the development of space activities, with the aim of broadening the country’s capacities in the fields of education, industry, science and technology.”

• Critics of the new ministry, however, say that Nicaragua doesn’t have the technical chops nor the financial resources to take on such an endeavor. They also argue that this comes at a time when the Central American country is facing deep social and economic problems, which intensified in the wake of anti-government protests in 2018. The Nicaraguan government is struggling to supply residents with food and fuel and it has yet to secure any COVID-19 vaccines.

• Critics also note that the President of Nicaragua, Daniel Ortega, has greenlit other major initiatives, such as a $50 billion cross-country canal project in 2014, that haven’t made much progress.

• “We are not scientifically able as a country to undertake this type of research,” said Jaime Incer Barquero, president of the nation’s Academy of Geography and History.

• Meanwhile, the U.S. is continuing to establish its Space Force, the sixth branch of the military that was established by former President Donald Trump. Joe Biden, the current President, is retaining the agency, although the aims of Space Force may change.

Nicaragua is looking to the skies. The Central American country has created the wonderfully named National Ministry for Extraterrestrial Space Affairs, The Moon and Other Celestial Bodies.

A bill to establish the agency passed through the National Assembly with little trouble this week. It received approval from 76 members of the chamber with 15 abstaining. President Daniel Ortega’s Sandinista Party holds 71 of the 92 seats in the congress.

Although the Nicaraguan army doesn’t have a space program, it will oversee the ministry. The Associated Press reports that the agency will “promote the development of space activities, with the aim of broadening the country’s capacities in the fields of education, industry, science and technology.”

However, critics say that Nicaragua doesn’t have the technical chops nor the financial resources to take on such an endeavor. “We are not scientifically able as a country to undertake this type of research,” Jaime Incer Barquero, president of the nation’s Academy of Geography and History, told CNN.

The country is establishing the ministry at a time when it’s facing deep social and economic problems, which intensified in the wake of anti-government protests in 2018. The AP reports that the government is struggling to supply residents with food and fuel and it has yet to secure any COVID-19 vaccines. Ortega has greenlit other major initiatives that haven’t made much progress, such as a $50 billion cross-country canal project in 2014.

Although it’s not really the best time for Nicaragua to set up a space agency, perhaps it too will make it to Mars someday.

Meanwhile, the US is continuing to establish its Space Force. Former president Donald Trump, who initially floated the idea as a joke, created the sixth branch of the military while he was in office. Joe Biden, the current president, is retaining the agency, though the aims of Space Force may change.

Atmospheric Pollution Could Signal Advanced Extraterrestrial Civilization

Article by Amit Malewar                                     February 11, 2021                                        (techexplorist.com)

• Astronomers have detected over 4,000 planets orbiting other stars. Some of these exoplanets have conditions suitable for life. Since exoplanets are so distant, scientists cannot look for signs of life or civilization by sending spacecraft to these distant worlds. The presence of a combination of gases like oxygen and methane in a planet’s atmosphere could be a sign of life or ‘biosignature’. Likewise, a sign of technology (ie: pollution) on an exoplanet, called a ‘technosignature’, could be the byproduct of an industrial process.

• A new NASA research study examines nitrogen dioxide (NO2) as a possible technosignature. “On Earth, about 76 percent of NO2 emissions are due to industrial activity,” says Giada Arney, co-author of the paper at NASA Goddard. “Since NO2 is also produced naturally, scientists will have to carefully analyze an exoplanet to see if there is an excess that could be attributed to a technological society.”

• In this study, scientists used computer modeling to predict whether NO2 pollution would produce a detectable signal. Atmospheric NO2 strongly absorbs certain colors (wavelengths) of visible light, which can be seen by observing the light reflected from an exoplanet as it orbits its star. They found that a civilization on an Earth-like planet orbiting a Sun-like star, producing the same amount of NO2 as ours could be detected up to about 30 light-years away using a future large NASA telescope. One light-year is the distance light travels in a year, almost 6 trillion miles. Our galaxy is about 100,000 light-years across.

• The study group also found that cooler and far more common stars than our Sun, such as K and M-type stars, will deliver a stronger, more easily detected NO2 signal. “If we observe NO2 on another planet, we will have to run models to estimate the maximum possible NO2 emissions one could have just from non-industrial sources” to calculate the industrial-sourced NO2, said Arney.

• Jacob Haqq-Misra, a co-author of the paper at the Blue Marble Institute of Science, Seattle, Washington, noted that, “Other studies have examined chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) as possible technosignatures. CFCs were manufactured chemicals used as refrigerants until they were phased out because of their role in ozone depletion. CFCs are also a powerful greenhouse gas that could terraform a planet like Mars by providing additional warming from the atmosphere.” They would be an obvious technosignature since CFCs aren’t produced naturally, as far as we know. It is likely that NO2 would be more prevalent, by comparison, as a general byproduct of any combustion process.”

• This work was funded by NASA Goddard’s Sellers Exoplanet Environments Collaboration and the NASA Exobiology program. supported by NASA’s Planetary Science Division’s Research Program. This work was performed as part of NASA’s Virtual Planetary Laboratory through the NASA Astrobiology Institute and by the NASA Astrobiology Program as part of the Nexus for Exoplanet System Science (NExSS) research coordination network.

[Editor’s Note]    This article proves that NASA is just as complicit as the more obvious deep state organizations, such as SETI, in spending a ton of money and publicity to “search” for extraterrestrial life when it is right under (above) our noses. They trot out highly credentialed establishment scientists to spout a bunch of technical jargon about how they are looking for this ‘techosignature’ or that ‘biosignature’ looking for evidence of a habitable or technologically advanced civilization. Think of all of the time and effort – and deception – that our society will save and redirect once we have full disclosure of the long-standing presence of advanced extraterrestrial beings that have been interacting with our secret space programs for many decades. We already have the answers to all of the questions that deep state scientists continue to dwell on, solely for the theatrics of making average people think that smart people are doing everything they can to detect life beyond this Earth, thereby promoting the outrageous lie that humanity here on Earth is the only intelligent life that we have found in the universe.

Nitrogen dioxide is part of a group of gaseous air pollutants produced due to road traffic and other fossil fuel combustion processes. In

                        Giada Arney

the lower atmosphere (about 10 to 15 kilometers or around 6.2 to 9.3 miles), NO2 from human activities dominate compared to non-human sources. Therefore, observing NO2 on a habitable planet could potentially indicate the presence of industrialized civilization.

Until now, astronomers have detected over 4,000 planets orbiting other stars. Some of these planets are habitable; some have conditions suitable for life. Since exoplanets are so distant, scientists cannot look for signs of life or civilization by sending spacecraft to these distant worlds.

The presence of a combination of gases like oxygen and methane in the atmosphere could be a sign of life or biosignature. Likewise, a sign of technology on an exoplanet, called a techno signature, could be what’s considered pollution here on Earth — the presence of a gas that’s released as a byproduct of an overall industrial process, such as NO2.

A new NASA research suggests that we might detect advanced extraterrestrial civilization using its atmospheric pollution. This study is the first time NO2 has been examined as a possible technosignature.

Jacob Haqq-Misra, a co-author of the paper at the Blue Marble Institute of Science, Seattle, Washington, said, “Other studies have examined chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) as possible technosignatures, which are industrial products that were widely used as refrigerants until they were phased out because of their role in ozone depletion. CFCs are also a powerful greenhouse gas that could terraform a planet like Mars by providing additional warming from the atmosphere. As far as we know, CFCs are not produced by biology, so they are a more obvious technosignature than NO2. However, CFCs are particular manufactured chemicals that might not be prevalent elsewhere; NO2, by comparison, is a general byproduct of any combustion process.”

In this study, scientists used computer modeling to predict whether NO2 pollution would produce a practical signal to detect with current and planned telescopes.
Atmospheric NO2 strongly absorbs some colors (wavelengths) of visible light, which can be seen by observing the light reflected from an exoplanet as it orbits its star. They found that for an Earth-like planet orbiting a Sun-like star, a civilization producing the same amount of NO2 as ours could be detected up to about 30 light-years away with about 400 hours of observing time using a future large NASA telescope observing at visible wavelengths.
