White House ends silence on UFOs and ETs with rejection of PRG Disclosure Petition

Yet FOIA request by Canadian researcher prompts question – Did the White House investigate the UFO Extraterrestrial matter during the Clinton administration?

 

 

White House Rejects ET Petition

Toronto [ZNN] The White House has broken a 64 year old silence on the UFO/ET matter by publicly and summarily dismissing the Paradigm Research Group Disclosure Petition I – stating there is no credible evidence of an ET presence engaging the planet.

It is important to note that this is the first time the White House has made any formal statement on the UFO/ET issue. This precedent is what many UFO/ET enthusiasts have been waiting  for for decades.

More importantly by responding formally, many UFO analysts feel the White House has not simply recognized that over 17,000 individuals signed petitions demanding action to acknowledge the UFO/ET issue but the Obama administration has now opened the door to a wider public discourse on the reality of the UFO phenomenon and the mountain of evidence supporting this reality.

The White House Statement

In a statement by Phil Larson of the Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP) he said in part, “The U.S. government has no evidence that any life exists outside our planet, or that an extraterrestrial presence has contacted or engaged any member of the human race. In addition, there is no credible information to suggest that any evidence is being hidden from the public’s eye.”

In response PRG Executive Director Stephen G. Bassett has filed Disclosure Petition II demanding that the Obama administration investigate UFO Disclosure efforts during the Clinton administration between the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy and billionaire and Clinton friend, Laurance S. Rockefeller.

Did the White House ever examine UFO/ETI information before?

Letters uncovered in a FOIA request by Canadian researcher Grant Cameron show that White House Science Advisor to the President, Dr. Jack Gibbons discussed the UFO extraterrestrial issue as far back as 1993 with billionaire philanthropist Laurance S. Rockefeller, his solicitor Henry Diamond and other White House officials. These correspondences are now in the public domain but remain un-investigated by the press.

In examining these correspondence, ZlandCommunications has learned that one letter from Mr. Rockefeiller to President Bill Clinton indicated Mr. Rockefeller had somehow been made aware that substantial information on UFOs and ETI had been ‘unnecessarily withheld from the public’.

The letter, from Mr. Rockefeller to President Clinton is entitled: ‘Lifting the Secrecy on Information About Extraterrestrial Intelligence as part of the Current Classification Review.’

[Ed. Note: Speculation around how Rockefeller knew information was being withheld is uncertain – however it would not be the first time international or domestic sources of insider information among influential families have been pried loose.]

ZNN has also learned from another letter by Laurance S. Rockefeller to the Science Advisor to President Clinton, Dr. Jack Gibbons that:

  • At least one meeting was convened to discuss UFOs and extraterrestrial intelligence.
  • From that meeting Laurance Rockefeller learned Dr. Gibbons had not been advised of a ‘body of knowledge on UFOs and ETI… is being withheld from the public’.
  • According to Dr. Gibbons, it would be ‘most fruitful’ for Rockefeller to seek out UFO/ETI information from the Department of Defense and,
  • A letter from Laurance S. Rockefeller to President Clinton was crafted to request the President re-assess government policy on UFO/ETI information.

Surprisingly in his statement of  ‘no evidence’, Mr. Larson avoided any mention of White House or OSTP information about UFO or extraterrestrial intelligence disclosure efforts in previous administrations; nor has any of this information ever been made available to the press by the White House.

Despite Mr. Larson’s statement that, “…no credible information to suggest that any evidence is being hidden from the public’s eye.”, some research analysts remain convinced these correspondences were purposefully sequestered until Mr. Cameron’s FOIA request brought them to light.

Toronto Radio Interview

During an interview on Toronto’s AM 740 Radio on Sunday Nov 27, PRG Executive Director Stephen G. Bassett, indicated the position of  ‘no credible evidence’ taken by the OSTP is not only fallacious but indefensible.

Mr. Bassett and other researchers in the the UFO/ET Disclosure movement point to a massive compendium of other government documents, witness testimony and admissions as well as notarized documents by former high ranking military officials clearly indicating that the UFO/ET phenomenon has been discussed, analyzed, assessed and sequestered at the highest levels of governance and military authority on the planet.

In its own search, ZlandCommunications has discovered that in addition to the Rockefeller letters, other relevant documents and notarized military witness testimony supporting the existence of UFOs and an ET presence are readily available to the press, the public and all government officials. According to Mr. Bassett, the UFO/ET research community remains adamant that this credible information and former military officers’ witness testimony is more than adequate to call an immediate Congressional Hearing.

The question remains – Why has the Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP) not done its due diligence in acquiring these documents and testimony, examining them and moving forward with an investigation?

Disclosure Petition II

In response to the OSTP’s rejection of Disclosure Petition I , PRG has filed a second petition exhorting the White House to look into its own records – those of the Clinton administration which clearly show the White House and the OSTP did indeed engage in discussions and correspondence about  the extraterrestrial matter with philanthropist Laurance S. Rockefeller beginning in 1993.

Disclosure Petition II states:

“We petition the Obama Administration to demand a full congressional investigation of UFO/ET Disclosure efforts by the Clinton OSTP – the Rockefeller Initiative.”

The petition goes on to say, “In response to the Disclosure Petition I, the OSTP stated, ‘The U.S. government has no evidence that any life exists outside our planet, or that an extraterrestrial presence has contacted or engaged any member of the human race.

If true, what was the OSTP investigating from March 1993 to October 1996 in concert with billionaire and Clinton friend, Laurance Rockefeller?

Those who knew of and have not spoken publicly of this initiative include: Bill Clinton, Sec. of State Hillary Clinton, Obama transition co-chair John Podesta, Sec. of Defense Leon Panetta, Dr. John Gibbons, Albert Gore and Governor Bill Richardson.”

Is the White House suppressing evidence?

As the result of Mr. Cameron’s confirmation that during the Clinton administration the White House and OSTP under Dr. Jack Gibbons were indeed in discussions with Laurance S. Rockefeller about the UFO/ET matter – and in combination with the refusal by White House and OSTP to acknowledge this information as evidence, four very disturbing possibilities emerge:

  • The OSTP’s response is yet another blueprint for the current 64 year-old UFO/ET cover-up,
  • The OSTP along with the White House are completely out of touch with their own intelligence networks, record keeping and infrastructure or,
  • The White House and the OSTP may be complicit in the suppression of evidence.
  • Why did President Clinton make the provocativ admission he wanted to know about UFO/ET matters before thousands in Ireland in 1995 directly in the midst of the Rockefeller Letter’s excahnge: Predsident Clinton in Ireland 1995

This last point raises serious judicial as well as constitutional questions.

Congressional Investigation now an imperative

It now appears that the Whie House and the current OSTP staff have placed themselves in the very awkward political position. The White House must not only admit the Clinton/Rockefeller letters exist, but it must also concede the Rockefeller Initiative correspondences do constitute proof that multiple members of the Clinton administration White House staff and the Office of Science and Technology Policy were involved in discussions concerning UFOs and extraterrestrials.

[Ed. Note: John Podesta, President Clinton’s Chief of Staff at the time was clearly aware of this situation. So much so that later in 2002 he came forward at the National Press Club in Washington DC to challenge government secrecy on UFOs. He stated, “It is time to open the books… on the question of government investigation of UFOs.” Click here.]

This evidence, in the opinion of many researchers, eliminates any reasonable doubt that the US government had and still maintains a policy of secrecy and denial regarding information about the UFO/ET issue. The continued refusal by the White House to discuss the matter openly or to volunteer any information to the press or the public is yet another indication of a cover-up.

On this basis alone – a public investigation into Rockefeller Initiative letters and Clinton’s role appears not only mandatory but a judicial and congressional imperative.

Conclusion – Journalists must act

One can only conclude that, if allowed to go unscrutinized by the press, the continued White House policy of denial and silence and the long-proclaimed call for transparency by the Obama administration will be seen for what is it – nothing more than a disingenuous facade.

In the fractious and hyper-frenetic election campaign towards the Presidency, it seems fair to ask – If the Obama administration remains unchallenged by the press on this matter, will the administration ever allow any open discussion about White House involvement with Mr. Rockefeller and the extraterrestrial issue? adding additional gravitas to the suppression of evidence rivaled only by the Nixon administration between 1972 and 1974.

In the event PRG’s Disclosure Petition II reaches the mandatory 25,000 signatures by month’s end, the White House will have to put its mouth where its mandate is… investigate according to the mandate of the “We the People” petition process; placing a large spotlight on the slowly crumbling wall of secrecy it orchestrated some 64 years ago. Will the press then close ranks to take on the White House?

Even without the success of PRG’s petition to examine the Rockefeller Initiative, it is clear the mainstream press has a fiduciary responsibility to bring this matter to forefront of news – forcing accountability onto the highest office in USA.

What are the chances? Some say ‘slim to none’ given the alarming and hermetically sealed power and influence of the White House and its intelligence infrastructure.

Others believe there really are journalists out there who have the capacity to create another Watergate – just when we need it most.

Was a cloaked UFO mothership just revealed near Mercury?

One of NASA’s two Stereo satellites monitoring solar activity captured film footage of what appears to be a huge cylindrical spaceship or UFO mothership, near Mercury on December 1. The spaceship briefly appears after being hit by a Coronal Mass Ejection (CME) from the Sun. Images of the object reveal it to be cylindrical in shape. Comparison to nearby Mercury suggests it is very large, hundreds of miles long and probably a UFO mothership of some kind. If genuine, and not a photographic artifact as claimed by some scientists, this would not be the first time that a solar CME has revealed cloaked spaceships. Back in August 19, 2011, a CME revealed what appeared to be a tetrahedral energy shield around comet Elenin. For science writer, Richard Hoagland, this was evidence that Elenin was an artificially created object – a spaceship – whose orbit took it near Earth for a specific mission. Now a CME appears to have revealed the energy shield around another spaceship which is gigantic in size and cylindrical in shape. Is NASA’s STEREO satellite film footage evidence of a CME revealing a giant cloaked spacecraft, or is it all just a photographic artifact?

Below is the Youtube video of the incident captured by NASA’s STEREO satellite which to date has over one million viewers, and generated several major media stories.

According to the commentary by the Youtube user that uploaded the incident: “It’s cylindrical on either side and has a shape in the middle. It definitely looks like a ship to me, and very obviously, it’s cloaked…What object in space cloaks itself and doesn’t appear until it gets hit by energy from the sun?”

Not so according to two scientists from the Navy Research Laboratory’s solar physics branch who were interviewed by Natalie Wolchover from Life’s Little Mysteries.

According to Russ Howard, head scientist of the NRL group, and Nathan Rich, lead ground systems engineer, it is simply an artifact left over from the way raw HI-1 telescope data gets processed. Rather than a UFO mothership parked near Mercury, the bright spot is “where the planet was on the previous day,

When it was pointed out the UFO appeared to be cylindrical in shape and not spherical like Mercury, Rich provided a photo of Mercury from a day earlier where it appears in raw image data as two lines, that could be easily interpreted as a cylindrical object.

Could the two Navy Research astronomers be wrong in their analysis? It would not be the first time that UFOs have been dismissed by scientists whose explanations of raw data are based on an a priori dismissal of UFOs. Professor J Allen Hynek is one famous example of an astronomer whose analyses of raw scientific data were based on an outright dismissal of any UFO explanation. Hynek eventually recanted many of his earlier views and became a leading proponent of the reality of UFOs. Is it possible that the object captured in the NASA Stereo images is not a photographic light artifact after all? If not an artifact, and instead a giant cylindrical UFO of some kind, what is it, and what is its mission?

The first cylindrical UFOs were captured on film by George Adamski back in 1950. Adamki’s photos showed a cylindrical UFO surrounded by up to five smaller glowing UFOs or what Adamski claimed were scoutcraft. The photos clearly showed the smaller glowing scoutcraft leaving the giant cyclindrical UFO which indicated it was a mothership. Adamski would later claim that he was picked up by one of the scoutcraft and taken on board one of the motherships where he met extraterrestrials from different planetary bases in our solar system. Adamski became world famous though his photos and claims became mired in controversy. There has been growing evidence that some or most of the controversy appeared to be part of a secret campaign to discredit Adamski – what has been termed “Galactic COINTELPRO“.

What appears from a cursory visual inspection to be a giant UFO mothership recorded by a NASA STEREO satellite may be nothing more than an artifact as claimed by two Navy Research Laboratory scientists. On the other hand, if the scientists are wrong and it is a giant cylindrical spacecraft, then its size would suggest that it is a mothership containing many thousands of extraterrestrial residents and their spacecraft. What is their mission? Given that they are cloaked most of the time, and have been observing us for a long time, according to Adamski’s photos, then it can be concluded that their mission is primarily peaceful reconnaissance.

Kepler confirms first exoplanet in habitable region – the exopolitical impact

It’s official – an earth-like planet in the habitable region of a distant solar system has just been confirmed to exist. The planet, Kepler-22b, sits in the so-called Goldilocks region of a solar system where it is neither too hot nor too cold for hosting life as we know it. Scientists associated with NASA’s Kepler Space Telescope Project announced the discovery at a Press Conference at the Ames Research Center early on Monday. The scientific results will be published in the next edition of The Astrophysics Journal. The announcement takes the scientific community one step closer to announcing that the conditions for life can be found on numerous exoplanets scattered throughout the galaxy. More importantly, the announcement takes our world one step closer to realizing that extraterrestrial life is not only scientifically feasible, but likely exists throughout our vast galaxy with its more than 300 billion stars. The confirmation of the first habitable exoplanet opens the door to a comprehension discussion of the political and social consequences of the discovery of extraterrestrial life. Such discussion has been mainly limited to the field of exopolitics where researchers have examined claims that extraterrestrials not only exist, but have been secretly monitoring our world; and have even been visiting us since the dawn of the atomic age.

Even though the Kepler mission released news of the discovery of earth like planets in the habitable zone earlier in February 2011, these were only “candidate planets”. Further observations were needed to confirm if what was seen was actually a planet or not. Confirmation did eventually arrive. Here is how William Borucki, a principal investigator at NASA Ames Research and team leader for the discovery of Kepler-22b, described the stunning confirmation:

Fortune smiled upon us with the detection of this planet … The first transit was captured just three days after we declared the spacecraft operationally ready. We witnessed the defining third transit over the 2010 holiday season…. Of the 54 “habitable” zone planet candidates seen so far, Kepler-22b is the first to be confirmed.

Put simply, Kepler-22b was included as a candidate exoplanet soon after the launch of the Kepler Mission in March 2009. Continued observations have confirmed its existence, and opened the door to further announcements of exoplanets to be found in the Goldilocks region of distant solar systems.

NASA’s Press Release gave details about the confirmed exoplanet’s location and orbit:

Kepler-22b is located 600 light-years away. While the planet is larger than Earth, its orbit of 290 days around a sun-like star resembles that of our world. The planet’s host star belongs to the same class as our sun, called G-type, although it is slightly smaller and cooler.

The announcement was made at the Kepler Mission’s inaugural science conference hosted at Ames from December 5-9. Here’s how NASA described the present tally of exoplanets:

The Kepler team is … announcing 1,094 new planet candidate discoveries. Since the last catalog was released in February, the number of planet candidates identified by Kepler has increased by 89 percent and now totals 2,326. Of these, 207 are approximately Earth-size, 680 are super Earth-size, 1,181 are Neptune-size, 203 are Jupiter-size and 55 are larger than Jupiter.

According to Alan Boss, a Carnegie Institute researcher that is part of the Kepler Mission:

This discovery supports the growing belief that we live in a universe crowded with life … Kepler is on the verge of determining the actual abundance of habitable, Earth-like planets in our galaxy’.

The confirmation of Kepler-22b as the first habitable exoplanet opens the door to the study of the social and political consequences of extraterrestrial life. Fortunately, some scientific institutions such as the Royal Society have endorsed such an exopolitical discussion. One likely impact of Kepler-22b is that more scientific institutions will follow the lead of the Royal Society. Eventually, the scientific community will need to examine the vast evidence accumulated over the last six decades, that extraterrestrial life is not only real and found throughout the galaxy, but they have been watching, and even visiting us, for a very long time.
