• Scientists at the University at Buffalo and Case Western Reserve University in the US, and Yangzhou University in China have published new research in Physical Review D to detail a way to locate wormholes.

• In theory, a wormhole is a tubular structure that can link together two parts of space at totally different points in time and regardless of the distance between them. But as yet, mainstream science hasn’t proven that they actually exist.

• Wormholes, in theory, require the extreme gravitation conditions of an enormous black hole. The research scientists propose honing in on the supermassive black hole at the center of our galaxy known as Sagittarius A. If a wormhole exists there, then the stars near this black hole would be affected and create gravitational anomalies.

• The study’s co-author Dr Dejan Stojkovic notes that people and spaceships will not be able to travel through the wormhole until we find a source of negative energy to keep the wormhole open and stable. Says Stojkovic, “To create a huge wormhole that’s stable, you need some magic.”

Physicists have published a new methodology that will surely delight hardcore science fiction fans: a how-to guide for finding wormholes, a theoretical structure that provides passage between different areas of spacetime.

In theory, a wormhole could link together two parts of space at totally different points in time and regardless of the distance between them. However, reliable sci-fi plot device though they may be, no one knows if they really exist.

Now, scientists at the University at Buffalo and Case Western Reserve University in the US, and Yangzhou University in China have published new research in Physical Review D to detail a way to potentially locate wormholes.

They propose honing in on Sagittarius A*, believed to be a supermassive black hole right at the centre of our galaxy. Wormholes, in theory, require the extreme gravitation conditions of such an enormous black hole.

If a wormhole exists then the stars nearby would be affected by the gravity of stars on the other side of the wormhole’s tunnel, so the researchers argue that searching for anomalies in the orbits of the stars close to Sagittarius A*.

However, don’t get your hopes up about the prospect of time travel via wormhole just yet; study co-author Dr Dejan Stojkovic says that if wormholes even exist, then they’re probably not as we’ve seen them on our screens.

An Astounding Discovery

by Pallab Mukhopadhyay                 August 5, 2018                  (thestatesman.com)

• The Charama region of the Kanker district in central India is the location of a pre-agrarian human settlement where prehistoric cave paintings have been found. Recently, 10,000-year-old rock paintings depicting UFOs and extra-terrestrials have been discovered in caves hidden deep within dense jungle. One of the intricate prehistoric cave paintings depict aliens and UFO type spacecraft next to a ‘wormhole’ formation in the sky (see above).

• The images may be depicting extra-terrestrials and UFOs as the paintings include large, humanoid beings descending from the sky, some wearing what looks like a helmet or antennae, as well as a disc-shaped craft with three rays (or legs) from its base. The strangely carved figures are seen holding weapon-like objects and do not have clear features. The nose and mouth are missing. In few pictures, they are even shown wearing spacesuits.

• A clear image of what might be an alien or ET in a spacesuit can be seen in a cave painting along with a classic flying saucer shaped UFO that appears to be either beaming something down or beaming something up, in what might be an ancient UFO abduction scenario. A force-field or trail of some sort is seen at the rear of the UFO. Also visible is another object that might depict a wormhole, explaining how the aliens were able to reach Earth.

• According to indigenous locals, their ancestors told of the ‘rohela people’, which translates to “the small sized ones”. The ‘rohela people’ would come from the sky in a round shaped flying object and take away villagers who never returned. The findings suggest that prehistoric humans may have seen beings from other planets.

• Indian Vedic texts are full of descriptions of Vimanas. The Ramayana describes Vimanas as a double-decked, circular or cylindrical aircraft with portholes and a dome. It flew with “the speed of the wind” and made a “melodious sound”. Two of the objects depicted look like hats floating in mid-air, and one of them appears to have port holes on it.

• Local archaeologist, Wassim Khan, has personally seen the images. He claims that the objects and creatures seen in them are totally anomalous and out of character when compared to other examples of prehistoric cave art depicting ancient life in the area. As such, he believes that they might suggest beings from other planets have been interacting with humans since prehistoric times.

The former central province of India, presently Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, was the place of pre-agrarian human settlement even before the great tectonic plate movement.

That’s the reason why a number of sites of prehistoric cave paintings have been found in the region. Some of them are known to us like Bhimbetka where we mainly find cave paintings made by a hunter-gatherer population.

Recently in the Hoshangabad district of Madhya Pradesh, just 43 miles from the local administrative centre of Raisen, ancient 10,000-year-old rock paintings depicting UFOs and extra-terrestrials have been discovered in the caves. The caves are hidden deep within dense jungle in Charama region in Kanker district in tribal Bastar region. Located about 130km from Raipur, the caves come under village Chandeli and Gotitola.

A group of anthropologists working with hill tribes in a remote area have made a startling discovery of intricate prehistoric cave paintings depicting aliens and UFO type craft next to a look-alike ‘wormhole’ formation in the sky.

A few years back, a three-and-a-half- million-years- old prehistoric human skull was discovered in the Ahthnor village of Madhya Pradesh by geologist Dr. Arun Sonakia. Possibilities that above image was drawn by those ancient humans can’t be ruled out, said Dr. Sonakia.

The state of Chhattisgarh has an abundance of ancient rock paintings. Many sites have paintings of humans and animals in everyday scenes. However, some researchers have referred to some rather unusual paintings, such as those depicting what appear to be kangaroos and giraffes (mainly in Kabra hills of Raigarh area of the state of Chhatishgarh) which are not native to the country, as well as human-fish hybrid creatures. Now, it is claimed that aliens and UFOs can be added to this collection.

The paintings are done in natural colors that have barely faded despite the passing of years. The strangely carved figures are seen holding weapon-like objects and do not have clear features.

Specially, the nose and mouth are missing. In few pictures, they are even shown wearing spacesuits. The newly-discovered depictions date back some 10,000 years.

The images may be depicting extra-terrestrials and UFOs as the paintings include large, humanoid beings descending from the sky, some wearing what looks like a helmet or antennae, as well as a disc-shaped craft with three rays (or legs) from its base. There are several beliefs among locals from the area.

While few worship the paintings, others narrate stories they have heard from ancestors about ‘rohela people’, which translates to “the small sized ones”. According to legend, the ‘rohela people’ used to land from the sky in a round shaped flying object and take away one or two persons of village who never returned.

According to one archaeologist, the art reflects the belief among ancient humans that we are not alone in the universe. The findings suggest that humans in prehistoric times may have seen or imagined beings from other planets which still arouse curiosity among people and researchers.

Physicist Describes Wormhole That Will Make Time Travel Possible

by Paul Seaburn       November 19, 2017       (mysteriousuniverse.org)

• Theoretical astrophysicist and science writer, Ethan Siegel, has theoretically created a theoretical time machine. “The place to start is with the physical idea of a wormhole.” Says Siegel. Thankfully, this theory abides by Einstein’s general theory of relativity and will not destroy the universe as we know it.

• Siegel starts with the accepted idea that positive/negative energy fluctuations can create a curve space wormhole that a particle could travel through from one point to another in spacetime. Since every known particle has positive energy and either positive or zero mass, it is possible to have negative mass/energy particles. With that assumption in mind, Siegel proposes a sort of reverse wormhole.

• Siegel proposes a wormhole with one fixed end and one that moves around at nearly the speed of light. Once the wormhole is created, you wait a year and then enter the end that has been in motion. When you come out at the fixed end, it’s 40 years prior. That means if you entered this wormhole today, you could travel back to 1978… provided someone in 1977 had created the fixed end of this wormhole.

• Regarding the grandfather paradox, you’ll be able to meet your grandfather when he’s still very young – perhaps even younger than you are now – but it will still, by necessity, occur at a moment in time after your parents were born.

Fans of Doc Brown, Mr. Peabody and Doctor Who may have already received the present they’ve wanted since they were kids.

“Thanks to some very interesting properties of space and time in Einstein’s General Relativity, traveling back in time may be possible after all.”

In a recent post on his Forbes blog, Starts with a Bang, theoretical astrophysicist and science writer Ethan Siegel lays out the parts and the plans for traveling backwards in time. Siegel claims this ‘time machine’ abides by Einstein’s general theory of relativity and will not destroy the universe as we know it. Yes! Tell us how to build one, Professor Siegel, so we can all go back change the answer on the test that kept us from getting into Harvard. Or one questionable election vote.

“The place to start is with the physical idea of a wormhole.”

Sigh. You skipped right over that part about Dr. Siegel being a “theoretical” physicist, didn’t you? Wormholes can exist theoretically – we just haven’t found one yet. Siegel starts with the accepted idea that positive/negative energy fluctuations can create a curve space wormhole that a particle could travel through from one point in spacetime to another. Who cares about particles, Dr. Siegel? We want to transport ourselves and possibly a cool-looking but poor-performing sports car back in time.

“If we want to scale that up, however, to allow something like a human being through, that’s going to take some work. While every known particle in our Universe has positive energy and either positive or zero mass, it’s eminently possible to have negative mass/energy particles in the framework of General Relativity. Sure, we haven’t discovered any yet, but according to all the rules of theoretical physics, there’s nothing forbidding it.”

With that assumption in mind, Siegel proposes a sort of reverse wormhole. Instead of the conventional “travel 40 light years out at nearly the speed of light, come back and you’ve aged 2 years while everyone else is 82 years older,” he proposes a wormhole with one fixed end and one that moves around at nearly the speed of light. The wormhole is created, you wait a year and then enter the end that has been in motion. When you come out at the fixed end, it’s 40 years prior. That means if you entered this wormhole today, you could travel back to 1978 …

… provided someone in 1977 had created this wormhole. So Dr. Siegel’s time machine wormhole is dependent on a previous Dr. Siegel-type with his theoretical physics knowledge and more. What if that person was your grandfather? Could you go back in time to meet him and prevent your own birth?
