Why We’re Being Systematically Trained to be Offended by Everything

by Joe Martino               September 18, 2017                  (collective-evolution.com)

• There is a mass shift in consciousness taking place, and we’re waking up to who we are and how the world really works. We are becoming more self-aware of ourselves and those around us.

• The Deep State wants to maintain control over the population by systematically conditioning us to avoid change by impulsively considering anything different as being “offensive” to us because it’s not the way we do it.

• We are being put into an “us versus them” mentality of not wanting to connect with other people.

• This is a subtle form of mind control that the Deep State uses to distract the people from imagining a better future for our world.

• This is the same mind control used by the Deep State to make us accept the government’s explanation for the JFK assassination and the 9/11 attacks.

• We need to adopt a new approach to understanding ourselves and each other, thereby raising our consciousness as a first step toward the full disclosure of our true reality which the Deep State is hiding from us.

We are being systematically conditioned to get offended at everything these days, and there is an important reason why we must become aware of this trend and not fall into the trap.

Think about it: People become enraged every day about things they read online, hear in the news, or witness on social media, about topics ranging from the words people use to gender politics, race, sports teams, diet, perceptions, etc. It’s everywhere! It appears as though everything is offensive and everyone has something to say about it.

I woke up this morning and went into my normal routine of meditating before I start my day. I did what I often do and checked into the collective consciousness to see what’s coming to the surface and being felt by us as a whole. This helps to plan out the type of content we focus on here at CE. This morning I kept feeling the word “offended” coming up over and over again. Then something hit me — I had heard the following statements literally hundreds of times over the past month.

“That’s offensive.” “What that person said was really offensive.” “I would never do that because that’s offensive.” “If you call someone this, that’s offensive.” And on it goes. I realized that whether it be in articles, videos, conversations, or comments online, this was becoming a HUGE collective norm. I went through the rest of my meditation and envisioning for the day and proceeded to go outside for my morning movement routine.

While outside, I couldn’t get what was coming to me in meditation out of my conscious mind so I decided to go LIVE on Facebook talking about the very basic fact that we are being systematically trained to get offended by everything, and exploring the reasons why this might be the case.
There is a mass shift in consciousness taking place, and as part of that process, we are starting to wake up to many things, including who we are, how our world really works, and what is possible for humanity.

In a very practical sense, this might come up in ways where you begin to question what you do in your day — you may question your career, the way you eat, how you feel, what’s beyond your mind’s thoughts, and so forth. It spreads into having a number of different things come up in humanity’s collective consciousness, like racism, hate, anger, judgement, political arguments, environmental issues, and old patterns. We, individually and collectively, are being faced with the task of having to face these things so we can understand and then evolve beyond them — shifting ourselves and shifting our world, in essence.

But! There is also a role being played by the Deep State and the media, who want to maintain control over the population as we become more self-aware. To prevent us from raising these deeper internal questions, the focus is being brought back to the external. It’s being brought to things like race, gender, our appearance, the words we use, who’s right, who’s wrong, and who we can judge and for what reason. We’re being systematically taught how NOT to change. And it’s being done through innocent memes, articles, videos, and even loving intention at times, all lacking deeper thought.

Document Surfaces Showing CIA’s Plan to Infiltrate Academia & Change University/Collage Curriculums

by Arjun Walia              September 3, 2017                 (collective-evolution.com)

• a pair of CIA internal memos from 1984 and 1991, recently exposed by Edward Snowden, show how the agency planned and implemented a heightened infiltration of academia, the press, and the entertainment media

• in 1984, CIA heads viewed the press as villains who had been corrupted by their “absolute power”, and regarded them as a hostile intelligence service

• in response, the CIA pursued centralized control of the press, to deceive and push their own agenda

• by 1991, the CIA had developed relationships with reporters from every major wire service, newspaper, news weekly, and television network in the nation, often persuading them to postpone, change, hold or even scrap news stories

• the CIA uses the vast entertainment industry as a distraction

• the U.S. government annually classifies an estimated half a billion documents

[Editor’s Note]  this is an example of how the intelligence community and the Deep State manipulate virtually every segment of society in order to hide government projects such as the Secret Space Program from the people

In this case, it’s the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), and the document in question, written up in 1984, shows how the agency had definite plans to infiltrate academia and change/influence the curriculum, specifically journalism.

As Emma Best from Muckrock reports, recently Tweeted by NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden, memos from the CIA Inspector General’s (IG) office reveal the agencies perspective on the press and how to handle them. It’s from 1984, approximately three decades prior to when the Agency declared Wikileaks a hostile non-state intelligence service. It shows how the CIA viewed the media the same way.

Are organizations like Wikileaks really a threat to National Security? Or are they simply a threat to a small group of powerful people who make millions, billions, or even trillions of dollars via government secrecy? Are they a threat to the global national security agenda that is taking place, disguised under the guise of globalisation? Was president Vladimir Putin right when he said “imaginary” and “mythical” threats are being used to impose the Deep State’s way on the entire world? Perhaps truth and transparency are a threat yes, but not to national security. If we continue to ignore these questions, the national security state will continue to be heightened, one in which our rights are constantly violated, with our right to privacy being one of many great examples.

A UFO Manifesto for Journalists

Untitled1For more than 65 years, there have been worldwide reports of sightings, landings and crashes of unidentified flying objects (UFOs) which are under intelligent control, and which travel at speeds and with aeronautical capabilities far surpassing those of known, earthly military and commercial aircraft. Those accounts have been affirmed by the testimony of many reliable witnesses, including astronauts, generals, admirals, law enforcement officials, airline pilots and other highly credentialed individuals. Some UFO crashes have been retrieved by military personnel of the United States and other countries, and several witnesses have viewed and handled the bodies of the occupants of those extraterrestrial (ET) craft.

A seminal research document titled “UFOs and Defense: What Should We Prepare For?”  published in 1999 by an independent group of former French generals, space scientists and other high officials concluded: ” A single hypothesis sufficiently takes into account the facts and, for the most part, only calls for present-day science.  It is the hypothesis of extraterrestrial visitors.  Advanced as of 1947 by certain U.S. military personnel, today it is popular worldwide.  It is discredited by a certain elite but is plausible.  Scientists (astronomers, physicists, engineers, futurologists, etc.) have elaborated on it enough for it to be received – as a hypothesis – by their peers.”

If the ET Hypothesis is valid, humankind faces the greatest scientific discovery in history – the existence of non-human, intelligent off-planet life forms with interstellar propulsion capabilities.  Thus, this meeting of cosmic cultures will inevitably affect every segment of Civilization, including religion, politics, science, technology, health, agriculture, and the complete spectrum of human life will likely be challenged by confirmation of a larger reality.

Contemplation of the effects of this reality on various Earth cultures and the probable and preferred responses from those cultures is a critical research/education project for the best minds willing to undertake the challenge.  Needless to say, participation by the world’s top journalists is an essential requirement for the successful investigation and resolution of the complex issues which are bound to arise with full disclosure of the extraterrestrial visitation.

Since  1947, the UFO/ET phenomenon has been subject to a highly compartmentalized U.S. government coverup that has been largely justified in terms of “national security”, despite official pronouncements by the Air Force that UFOs have never posed a threat to U.S. military operations or the security of the nation.  This is a curious assertion considering repeated documentation of UFO incursions at nuclear power plants, nuclear weapons laboratories, nuclear weapons storage facilities, and nuclear weapons launch facilities. Clearly, the truth regarding these incursions is a prime topic for serious investigation and reporting by professional journalists.

In response to citizen inquiries to the White House concerning extraterrestrial visitation, the Office of the President has stated: ” The U.S. governments has no evidence that any life exists outside our planet, or that an extraterrestrial presence has contacted or engaged any member of the human race.  In addition, there is no credible information to suggest that any evidence is being hidden from the public eye.”

This presidential statement is completely contrary to evidence offered by highly respected researchers and former U.S. officials, several of whom have offered to provide testimony under oath to the U.S. Congress.  This conflict between “official Knowledge” and independent/citizen knowledge cries out for investigative reporting.

Over the years, every top-level news organization in the United States has been frequently approached by UFO contactees and UFO researchers with events, information and evidence related to UFO/ET phenomena.  With few exceptions, the major media news organizations have defaulted on that issue, including the New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Washington Post and ABC/NBC/CBS/CNN news television.  Additionally, most major media organizations have treated anyone who has spoken or written about UFOs to be intellectually stunted and worthy of rejection and ridicule.  Many journalists, like many academics have failed in their obligation to treat a very important issue fairly and objectively.

To remedy this gross violation of journalistic principles and ethics, responsible journalists need to:

  1. Undertake serious efforts to raise public awareness concerning the many controversies surrounding UFO/ET issues, including the “truth embargo” which has seriously plagued the problem;
  2. Fully utilize the U.S. Freedom of Information Act to seek release of secret documents related to the extraterrestrial presence;
  3. Support the call for Congressional hearings on UFO/ET matters;
  4. Press the White House for an additional search of military and intelligence agency files which are known to refute its’ public statements concerning extraterrestrial visitation;
  5. Ask the White House for an explanation as to why the public has been subjected to a fraudulent coverup concerning UFO/ET matters;
  6. Seek identification of the agencies, people and other countries involved in the coverup;
  7. Encourage other journalists in the U.S., and around the world to appropriately investigate and report on UFO/ET phenomena.

In sum, the UFO/ET issue is one of the most serious, perplexing problems confronting the human race.  Therefore, it is imperative that the journalists of the world meet their professional obligation to regularly investigate and report the truth regarding the issue and related matters.

This Manifesto was compiled by Bill Wickersham, Adjunct Professor of Peace Studies, University of Missouri – Columbia. He has been  interested in the UFO phenomenon for over 50 years,   During his 15 years in Washington, D.C., he had an opportunity to interact  with several individuals who were very  close to the UFO/ET issue. New Roswell Petition V – Seeking Transparency

ZNN EDITORIAL

There appears to be no end to the determination of researcher – one Stephen G. Bassett to challenge the Obama administration to live up to its promises of greater transparency in government.

By posting his fifth in a series of “We the People” petitions to the White House dealing with the UFO/ET issue it may represent an obsession with government prevarication, or a truly genius search for the truth that no one else is willing to take on; or both.

This time Bassett is demanding that the US government re-investigate the multiple and suspect military explanations around the crash near Roswell New Mexico in 1947. Bassett has once again placed yet another demand before the President and constitution-watchers.

Similar to other White House administrations, and despite immense evidence, the Obama administration has shown itself to be abjectly silent on any and all public discussion of the UFO/ET issue. Bassett however is abjectly determined to continue knocking on the White House door until he receives an answer. Although one of Bassett’s petitions did extract a comment from the Office of Science and Technology Policy, it failed to ignite any further media discussion about the UFO/ET matter.

One could argue that the historic Roswell incident is the key issue here. Quite the opposite. Bassett seems to have cleverly positioned the entire UFO/ET issue on the much larger American political agenda by using the popular and iconic Roswell event as a lightning rod into a deeper examination of government transparency, secrecy and media manipulation.

In an election year, where a second term for Obama is by no means guaranteed, Bassett may have provided Obama a perfect opportunity to end the silence – even if only a little – to give the American electorate a tiny taste of UFO goings-on. The chances of this – remote? – of course, however the abundant and growing evidence from highly credible military officials, astronauts and intelligence community insiders demonstrate the increasing flimsiness of the cover-up’s sustainability and the blatant use of government secrecy, in tandem with intimidation, to keep well equipped insiders quiet about the UFO reality.

In the petition Bassett points to documented and unshakable testimony by military and intelligence officials:

  • Lt Col. Philip Corso (USA) “I came into possession of the Roswell File. This file contained field reports, medical autopsy reports and technological debris from the crash of an extraterrestrial vehicle.”
  • Capt. Edgar Mitchell (USAF/NASA) “Roswell was a real incident, and that indeed an alien craft did crash, and that material was recovered from that crash site.”
  • Chase Brandon (CIA) “It was a craft that clearly did not come from this planet.”
  • Lt. Col. Richard French (USAF) “There were actually two crashes at Roswell.”

Needless to say, under any other set of circumstances, testimony of this magnitude by the likes of a former NASA astronaut-USAF pilot, a former CIA agent and American and foreign military officers would be taken as prima fascia evidence in a court of law. However because it just so happens to be about craft of non-Earth origin, it is all ignored, ridiculed and dispensed with – case closed – no discussion.

How does this happen in a democracy? One explanation, as Bassett appears to be implying, is that government is writing the news of the day for the press. If this is a shock to you – then you haven’t been paying attention.

The mainstream media has a distinct role to play in this matter – but they’re not. The press must be the public agent asking the dynamic questions that constitutionally require not only a response, but the truth. There is a difference.

Regrettably the media has remained silent on this matter – giving government a free hand in lying to its citizens about how NASA, the Navy, Air Force, the Army and FAA have engaged off-world-craft on a regular basis.

It is worth noting how the following statement by Bassett – made years ago – rings true today. He stated: “Governments have constitutionally always been allowed to keep secrets but they have never been granted the right to lie to its people.”

It is here that Bassett parts ways with many in the UFO research community in demanding that the American government uphold the constitution and cease prevaricating about the extraterrestrial presence engaging the planet.

A political act if there ever was one.

Larger groups like MUFON (The Mutual UFO Network) for example, can take a page or two from Mr. Bassett’s playbook and step forward to profile these questions in a more public and political manner – especially in an election year in which an issue like this could thrust itself onto the Presidential campaign agenda in a heartbeat.

Therefore three things need to happen:

1. The US government must be engaged in a positive and cooperative manner to come forward and openly inaugurate public discourse about all evidence in this matter, examine the testimony of its own military officials and ultimately admit they have been wittingly or unwittingly part of an extended generation of liars.

2. Amnesty must be offer to all and every individual within the military and intelligence community who may wish to come forward about their experiences or part in the cover-up.

3. The mainstream media must set aside their indolent corporate conscience and get to work on exposing every aspect of the cover-up. Transparency in government was a corner stone of Obama’s new residency in Washington at the time of his election. However the truth be told, no other bounce-back rhetoric catches Barack Obama in his tracks than his January 2009 statement on transparency.

Will a new investigation of the Roswell crash be a response to Obama’s transparency promises? Maybe. Will the constancy and determination of Stephen G. Bassett knocking on the White House door jar loose a few rafters at the White House - revealing cracks in the truth embargo and an end to secrecy?

The short answer – One thing is for sure – Bassett won’t give.

The long answer – Bassett’s onslaught of now five separate petitions to date on the UFO/ET issue are perhaps less significant individually than they are collectively. Because the whole is greater than the sum of all its parts, Bassett’s ‘petition’ messages to government and media are clear: Fulfill your mandate both constitutionally and journalistically and let’s get on with a new era of truth.

UK Daytime TV Show Demonstrates Why Formats Are Shifting Perspective

The UKs most popular daytime TV program decided to allocate a whole 10 minutes for an issue which needs several hours to even scratch the surface of -  The ET Contact and UFO issue. Despite the time constraints -  something more was demonstrated – insofar as the invited ‘rational’ academic failed to make any significant headway in attracting interest for his views.

Present for the session were UK contactee and speaker at the 2011 Leeds Exopolitics UK conference Brigitte Barclay. Police detective Gary Heseltine and Professor from Goldsmith’s College in the “Anomalistic Psychology Research Unit” – Chris French.

In recent years there’s been a notable shift in the format of both mainstream treatment of the issue and also the more specialised documentary style programs such as UFO-Hunters made for the History Channel.

Direct Link to Video

The latter series, along with its follow-up series Ancient Aliens, was one of the History Channel’s highest rated series viewing wise and simultaneously ended the TV formula of  featuring a mandatory “Rent-A-Skeptic” – often utilised at the end of a discussion to trivialise and debunk the evidence found as well as the experience of those directly interfacing with the wide array of UFOlogical phenomena involved.

The daytime TV show, which can be seen in the video above, is part of the slower media forms to react to this shift -  hence the use of Chris French – one of a handful of British skeptics that are  wheeled-out to counter what by now is an over-whelming set of evidence and testimony for the reality of intelligent life interacting with this planet. However -  even when a program features such an old modality, it seems to now do more damage to the skeptics and debunkers case than ever. UK personalities such as MoD national Archives commentator and ‘Folklore’ academic Dr David Clarke, Professor Chris French or British author and regular debunker Andy Roberts [who once claimed a serving police officer hallucinated a double-decker bus]  now appear increasingly desperate in justifying their rather mundane position. To a more aware, internet savvy culture, it really seems as if the regular skeptics are caught in some strange time-loop where their mantras of “it was venus!” and  “little green men” makes them look somewhat ignorant and perhaps even foolish.

As Yorkshire police sightings database operator Gary Heseltine amply demonstrated, even in a 10 minute slot it’s not hard to challenge the skeptical line -  especially when it’s an inflexible approach as we find so often with the TV skeptics. Additionally, as can now be seen by regular news coverage of the issue, the majority of the population have a growing interest in this area even if they’re not fully sure what’s going on. My prediction is that we’ll continue to see the trend expanding where rational discussions of this issue can take place without the need for the classic, hired debunking line. There’s a difference between useful skeptical enquiry in this topic and debunking via ridicule and/or for the sake of pushing people away from a necessary field of enquiry.

In reality, whether it’s the type of testimony from someone like Brigitte who’s experienced an event first hand, a collection of statistics such as the PRUFOS database or national security episodes such as nuclear missile bases being temporarily rendered ineffective by hovering craft – only one of these situations has to be “real” for the skeptical line to collapse.

Note: – Popular TV shows as we’re all aware can often be re-viewed on the channels associated website. It appears that just this section in the video above was removed from the ITV “replay” website -  you can essentially watch the whole show [and poor me just has to make sure this was the case] but it pretends that the UFO discussion section never took place.

When they lose,  they edit.

This recent article from the Editor of The Columbia Tribune adds a similar theme to the shift that we can see taking place -  the decline of the ‘giggle factor’. It’s worth pointing out that we could add an additional 1000 quotes from well respected historical personalities…

UFO ‘non-gigglers’ are in good company

Editor, the Tribune: During some 40 years of study and discussion of the UFO phenomenon, I have encountered numerous academicians, politicians, social activists, journalists and others who have seriously ridiculed any mention of the serious investigation of the problem. Such ridicule was frequently demonstrated by what UFO researchers call the “giggle factor,” including self-satisfying smirks, rolled eyes and occasional outright belly-laughs. On the other hand, non-gigglers, and their views on the matter, include:

  • “Unknown objects are operating under intelligent control. … It is imperative that we learn where UFOs come from and what their purpose is.” — Adm. Roscoe Hillenkotter, former director of the CIA
  • “The evidence points to the fact that Roswell was a real incident and that indeed an alien craft did crash, and that material was recovered from that site. We all know that UFOs are real.” — astronaut Edgar Mitchell
  • “Of course it is possible that UFOs really do contain aliens as many people believe, and the government is covering it up.” — Professor Stephen Hawking
  • “The possibility of reduced-time interstellar travel by advanced extraterrestrial civilizations at present, or ourselves in the future, is not fundamentally constrained by physical principles.” — physicist Harold Putoff
  • “It is quite strange that while our best modern physics and astrophysics theories thus predict that we should be experiencing extraterrestrial visitation, any possible evidence of such in the form of a subset of UFO reports is ignored or ridiculed.” — astrophysicist Bernard Haisch
